This place has the best sushi in town. Sounds crazy, because you'd expect the title to go to one of those ritzy, expensive places downtown. But no, if you want delicious sushi, go here. You'll save a lot that way too, and you can take only what you're interested in, and in the portions that you want. If you're not into sushi, their buffet has many other offerings. At dinner time, they have meats and veggies that you can select yourself and they'll cook it right in front of you hibachi-style. I go here once or twice a month. The only reason I haven't given five stars is because they often do not replenish the food on the buffet line in a timely manner. I've been many times and wanted (for example) some California rolls, and they're all gone. Try again in ten minutes, still gone. 20 minutes, still gone. This happens to us all the time. If you need to hire more staff to efficiently stock your buffet line then please do so, because I want more of your delicious sushi.

Been here a few times for lunch and dinner! Lunch is just as good as dinner and almost half the price. Excellent sushi and food selections. Never had a bad experience yet, and service is pretty good. I couldn't believe lunch was just as good. Most places I've been when it's a cheaper buffet in the day the menu would be half of dinner or special items would be removed. It's not like that here. Taking some friends there tomorrow. Definitely my new local favorite.

Honestly wow! Haven't have Chinese food this great in long time. Not to mention how great the general tos chicken is and the crab ragoon! Usually I have to go to two entirely different restaurants to get each of them made the way I want. Even the sushi was good and I hate sushi. I had the eel sushi roll, yumm!! I recommend going, it's a nice well kept buffet. You can see the chefs cooking on spot and constantly changing out the food for fresh food. What more can you expect it's naples the good has to be good.

Not the most inviting place to dinethe ambiance was drab. The sushi was served warm via buffet. The buffet area was not the cleanest or properly labeled. My advice go across the street to Sushi One near South Street bar.

This place needs to be updated. The booths are horrible and falling apart. Had to pay cash. Food was good.

In their window and newspaper adds they advertise Japanese seafood buffet & hibachi for lunch and dinner the adds state salad bar hibachi grill and desert bar included lunch $9.99 7 days a week. After we started eating and had soup we went and spoke with the guts behind the sushi bar about the hibachi and they said hibachi is only for dinner. As for the buffet the noodles were soggy the rice was overcooked and most if what was supposed to be chicken meat was just the fat and gristle that was sauced up to look like chicken meat but was not. When the waitress came by to give me my check I requested more water she walked away and never returned.

Buffet style sushi and Chinese food. Paid 21.18 for a meal I couldn't even finish. In Naples, their are much better options for less money. I would not recommend.

It was horrible experience. The employees are rude my daughter Is only 1 years old and they charge her as an entree and her drink. They have no manners. Their food was so oily, the sushi was left out which can cause people to have a stomach virus because of the raw food being left out. Is disgusting. They talked about everybody that walks in there. from personal experience I speak chinese so done deal never going back and just want people to know. If your looking for cheap food and bad service you found the right place!

LOVE IT!!! Blue Fish is right down the road from me, so my family and I go there often. They have a great variety of food, PLUS hibachi on the buffet side. The food is usually fresh and re-filled as needed (unless you go late at night, when they want you to eat what's left out ... This is particularly annoying when it comes to the hot crab legs, or lack thereof.) Now, the cons ... 1) I don't like feeling *obligated* to tip the hibachi chefs. I feel it's rude that I'm forced to stare at their ridiculously large jar of cash that's sitting on the counter while my food is being cooked. I don't tip the chef at any other restaurant--why would I do it at a buffet? The problem is, I DO--because I feel obligated ... and that sucks. (If I'm supposed to tip the chef, knock $3 off the price of the meal!) 2) The wait staff is terrible. All they do is bring drinks and (sometimes) collect plates when you finish with them. I'd be happier having the option to get my own drinks from a soda fountain and dump my used plate into a bucket, Panera-style. If you can manage to flag a waitress down to ask for MORE than a drink, they seem offended--as if you're asking something of them that's not in their job description. (Last time we were there, my fiance asked for a fork, and the waitress pointed to the buffet and said "forks are up there". For a minute, we thought she was joking, but he ended up having to walk clear across the restaurant, back to the buffet, to get his own fork.) I could understand if they were busy, but most of the time, they stand huddled by the bar, just staring around. There's nothing really special about the ambiance. It's not brand new, but it's not filthy and disgusting, either. I'd say it's nice enough to take a first date, yet laid back enough to take the kids. All in all, my family enjoys going to Blue Fish and I highly recommend.

To be honest I have always loved the food at bluefish. But the last 4 times I've visited. The waitress tried to FORCE me to give her tip after filling my glass once and never again for the rest of the time. And my today visit when the card reader shut down and neither myself or my friend has any cash. Along with a few other groups of people they made the customers go out to ATMS and Banks to get cash for them. Now I work and have worked in other restaurant businesses before and I'm sure you don't go about this sort of problem by making your "valued" customers go out to ATMS and get cash. That's definitely a way to keep people from coming back. Very inconvenient. And I'm not one to ever complain about restaurants of any type. It took us a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes for this situation to be resolved. And when we asked for the managers they basically refused to give any last name or phone numbers. So we had to use our investigative skills and look on the wall of pictures. Then we finally found a newspaper article with the first and last names of the owners/managers. Terrible, terribly terrible indeed. So I'm heavily disappointed and probably will never be returning.

Loved the great selection of sushi and it was delicious and affordable! All the other food was well made and delicious. They have a few beers on draft. The food deserves 5 stars but the service wasn't so great. Our waiter didn't really care about us. I noticed all of the waiters/waitresses barely speak English, but that's normal for an Asian restaurant. I'll certainly be back for the food!

I hate bad reviews as much as I hate writing about bad places. Feel free to see my previous reviews. This place was once one of my favorites a while ago. So this place did have a good past history with plenty of potential. Major changes could be done this summer. Part of this is due to a decline in service and ambiance. This place is slowly becoming less of a treat to me and my friends. Staff service is sadly disjointed when it comes to communication. Came in had a seat, went for lunch buffet with a group of 6 others. No one asked for my drink request. No chopsticks or utensils nor napkins. After 4 requests from two wait staff and the hostess 2 times. I went right to the bar. And wasn't about to leave without a drink since I already finished one plate without water. No bartender in sight. The 2nd guy at the bar confirmed no bartender on duty on a Saturday since he sat down. Later A bartender did show up to set up as we were leaving. I do have to say I got a water then a second was still delivered. Food 3 about the same. Good selection of freshly rolled sushi. The last 4 Chicken wings looked so dry I didn't even try. I was surprised how it was never replenished. Green beans were pretty good. Coconut shrimp was pretty good the General Tso chicken was mushy. Not very fresh. Shrimp was well iced and nobody got sick. Service 1 painfully slow lethargic. The empty plates seemed to pile up even for late lunch low number of customers. With two waitresses bussing the plates and topping drinks. I noticed that the staff here do not clear around the table they stand in one location till the guest are recruited to pass empty plates to the table busser. Odd I'd get fired if I tried this stunt at a restaurant. Ambiance. 1 Many of the seats are worn out tired and split or torn. Please give this place an update during the off season. Location 4 easy parking at the bed bath beyond plaza. Value 4 slightly more for weekend. Although I didn't see the difference or attraction to going during the lunch time. Had hand dipped chocolate chip mint ice cream for desert and No fortune cookies for our table. Boo! If you overlook the the lack of service and ambiance, the food here is still pretty good. 15/2015

Just recently moved to Naples and my father would always mention this place for their sushi buffet. Finally went and it's delicious. There's no place I've been before that you can get such an amazing spread of food for such a great price. They have everything from plain sushi rolls to more intricate and even crab legs. The only thing that stressed me out a little was that the second you sit down they ask what you'd like to drink, I personally like a second to look at a drink menu and think about what I'd like, but they also do a happy hour drink special 2 for 1 which is great! Overall an excellent place!

  • Rob R.

Went there a few times for lunch buffet. Very dark, and dingy with stained carpet. The buffet food is well, buffet food. Standard fare that not much better or worse than other buffets. However, if you like sushi, they have a nice selection, it's fresh, and it's affordable. Don't go for the ambiance!

Love love love!!! Always wonderful. Favorite sushi place in Florida! Lunch buffet is great since I like to try a variety of sushi so it's perfect. Otherwise decent prices on normal rolls and also have friendly staff and a hibachi grill area of the restaurant. Definitely recommend!!

Quite simply, a dive in Naples. This is one of those places where you put your standards aside and focus on the value. I was here twice and the sushi was fresh and consistently replenished. Essentially, you pay a fixed price for all you can eat. You choose from a buffet with quite a selection. I found the snow/white crab sushi exceptionally good. I also tried the General Tso chicken and it was well prepared also; crispy yet tender with the right balance of spicy and sweet. Spicy tuna, unagi, california roll, all excellent. Their spicy mayo is really delicious. As I mentioned, the decor is drab and old. The carpets are stained and there's no doubt this place needs a makeover soon. It's a busy place with a very eclectic crowd. The servers are militant and authentic for this kind of place.

Came here for dinner because my husband wanted to try the sushi buffet. The food was fine, as far as I could tell, even though I didn't eat anything. When they brought us the bill, my husband let them know we should only be charged for 1 adult and 2 kids meals since I didn't eat. They were very baffled by this and said they couldn't take it off the bill. He reassured them I didn't eat anything, to which the waitress asked if we told anyone. I chimed in that it would be hard to tell someone when no one came to check on us the entire visit. No refills on drinks even. They hesitantly took my dinner off the bill, but told us next time we have to tell them if someone doesn't eat. Horrible service to say the least. Will not return.

Sadly, this place has gone downhill over the years. I used to come to this place almost every week for lunch or dinner. I even had my after-wedding reception dinner in the hibachi room. The quality is not there anymore, and the place is looking somewhat dingy with a few booth seats on its last leg. My last experience was from dinner service. Their sashimi was not fresh, but still enjoyed the same vast variety of sushi choices. The crab also tasted like it was sitting in a bath of water all day. Even my favorite sesame bean balls were oozing with grease. I found some redemption in having hibachi service at dinner time and having my water glass filled all the time. Maybe I have high expectations for a buffet, but when you opt for no wait service, you expect to have decent food at $16.99 a pop. Sidenote: Make sure your group orders off the menu in its entirety or all off the buffet. They hover to make sure menu people don't share or they walk over and threaten to charge you for the buffet for trying a bite. If you find coupons in the mail for 10% off, read the fine print. Remember to bring cash in order to receive your discount. Disappointing, but I hope that this business addresses their reviews to bring back their regular customers. I really loved this place once upon a time! When in doubt, have their volcano cocktail and your worries will disappear :)

I have to agree with the low ratings of this place. I went for the first time yesterday for dinner and have to say the food was bad. Too many of the items on the buffet were left over from lunch. Many of the "hot" items were cold and inedible. The service was without a smile. The whole place reeked of an offensive odor - not clean. It is just an OK place, and not a place to take friends for dinner.

  • Ceyda Z.

Been here a several times and the quality is ridiculous. I mean I rather them put their prices up a dollar or two and get some better quality. From their sushi to their Chinese food, food, desserts is all just horrible quality. They have no salad bar just a mix of two greens and 1 dressing choice which taste horrible. Today when I went as I was walking to my car I got chased after asking for a tip which I had already left under my plate. Just ridiculous.

My wife's co-workers were adamant that we had to try this place. I was in the mood for a hibachi menu without the cramped seating and expected this place to be like a Stix. We were shuffled wordlessly to a table and asked what we wanted to drink. We started to realize we had been sat in the buffet area. By the time anyone came back with the drinks, we decided, "what the heck?" and decided to try the buffet instead. The food is average. The chilled shrimp was the highlight and I enjoyed the selection of fresh sushi. Maybe my experience was underwhelming due to the overwhelming praise this place was given from the folks who recommended it. I'd come here again if I wanted a buffet or quick lunch, but it didn't impress me and left me with the feeling of, "meh".

  • Steve G.

Had s very positive experience. We were greeted, shown to a table, drinks were brought immediately and plates were cleared promptly. Sushi was fresh and tasty. The usual sushi fare, but totally tasty. Hot dishes were hot and were refilled as needed.

Blue Fish has always been my go-to restaurant to satisfy my sushi/Asian cuisine craving. The lunch buffet price is about $10. The dinner price shifts at around 3-4pm to about $15. This covers unlimited excellent sushi and the "hot" bar including fried rice, lo mein, general tzo's chicken, gyoza, spring rolls, and the like. Although I find the food to be amazing for the price, the atmosphere is lacking. I believe a bit of sprucing could do this place very well. Also, the last couple times I have been there, my server delivered my check and stood watching me until I handed her my money. She also watched as I wrote in her tip on the slip. This turned me off quite a bit. I felt uncomfortable and rushed. That is why I only give beloved Blue Fish three stars.

  • Alyson W.

Blue Fish is a usual stop for us when we're visiting Naples. The buffet is fantastic, with tons of options! The sushi is my favorite - it's fresh and delicious. I am subtracting a star because the restaurant itself is in need of a renovation. Chairs are ripped, carpet looks dirty, etc, but the food is good enough to keep us coming back!

    (4)
  • Bentley B.

Fair selection on sushi mostly rolls, stir fry selection were horrible and didnt taste good at all. Salad bar wasn't fresh. If you want cheap sushi only then this is place for you.

  • Benjamin D.

With my 5th visit here, I am reminded of my thoughts from my first 4 visits, namely, why do I keep coming here? While the food is acceptable (for a buffet), every server, without exception, clearly, very clearly, cares not in the least whether I am there or not, whether I am happy to be there or not, or whether I return, or not. I promise, with God as my witness, that I will not return. Save yourself the hassle and embarrassment of being treated like dirt, and go anywhere else; "All you can eat," is simply not worth it. The hibachi guy was courteous, when you could find him. The atmosphere here is morose, at best. If you are looking for what is basically decent food, are okay with ambivalent, borderline hostile, hospitality, and want to save a buck in not tipping horrible service, this might be just the place for you. One final note, think of how bad the service has to be to piss me off in a SELF-SERVE BUFFET!

    (1)
  • Joseph R.

Seeing the earlier comments, I wonder WHO IN HELL GOES TO A BUFFET FOR THE SERVICE???You order a drink with the server and the rest is up to you!!! BLUE FISH IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST DEAL ANYWHERE!!! We have been going there for years!!! Its all you can eat japanese food, all you can eat SNOW CRAB LEGS, all you can eat fresh sushi (made right in front of you) and if that is not enough, there is all you can eat Teppan Yaki (you add raw shrimp, beef, chicken and many veggies and they cook it for you in like 3 minutes). Then there is ice cream, fruits etc.... There is no way to beat it!!! We take everyone that comes into town and they LOVE IT!!!

  • Rin T.

Probably the worst buffet that I have ever had. I love buffets. I travel for them. This is simply reviewed. Poor greeting. Several confused staff members to take one simple order. I just wanted two buffets and a pot of oolong tea. I get a cup of bagged tea. HUH? "We no have pot of tea". Just say so! I get two cups of Luke warm tea. The buffet was COLD!!! YES!!! COLD and horrible. There was NOTHING that was memorable! Spare yourself from this crap. It was skimpy and made as needed rather than full and inviting. This was my Christmas. I apologized to my wife over and over. I recommend that they just go out of business. I rather drive 100 miles for a great buffet. Dragon Buffet in Plantation is the BOMB!

  • Richard H.

I was truly disappointed. The ad said 100 different selections. WRONG... The sushi was good and varied. But as a selection on the buffet, at 1212 pm on a Monday only 20 dishes. Nothing was outstanding. I was not expecting 100 but at least 50 items. Plus the price 8.99 I found more at cheaper places & better in taste. The good was the sushi and boiled peel yourself shrimp. A good size. Cocktail sauce tasty. I would maybe try at dinner..but at 18.99 I would before sitting down.

  • Chelsi H.

I love sushi! All you can eat sushi for a good price sounds like my dream restaurant. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this place at all. I was told about it by 2 locals and decided to check out the reviews and tips on Yelp. I saw "green tea ice cream" & got excited since I'm addicted to green tea. But, again, I was unimpressed. 1. The sushi wasn't the freshest. But, what can I expect from a buffet? How fresh can I really expect it to be when it's sitting out for anyone to grab? It was okay though. Some pieces were awesome, others were subpar. 2. I wish there were descriptions of the rolls. Everybody pretty much knows the basic rolls but the specialty rolls could use a description. 3. The service was okay. Not awesome, not bad but okay. 4. That green tea ice cream was disgusting! The color was awful and the taste was weird. It was weird and indescribable and had a nasty after taste. Overall, it was okay for a first experience and a quick, cheap lunch. I was excited about being able to try a lot of sushi rolls for a low price. However, unless I'm in Naples again with only a little time to spare & need a quick bite to eat, I wouldn't return.

    (2)
  • Hope K.

The staff there are very rude. We went about an hour before they closed and the food was disgusting. It tasted like it had been sitting out for a while and was very oily. Didn't have much of a variety either. We couldn't even get through 1 plate of food it was just gross, my son took 1 bite and wouldn't eat anymore. We asked the manager if we could just have some kind of discount, not have the whole thing comped just some sort of discount due to the poor quality. She said that's how buffets work and it was our fault for not coming earlier when the food was fresh, shouldn't it be fresh open to close? I would never recommend anyone to eat there. Chinese takeout would have tasted better, and for more than half the price cheaper.

    (1)
  • Eric S.

There are times I'm craving sushi so bad I could kidnap a chef... but I don't want to pay crazy prices to stuff my stomach. That's why I'm ignoring those plastic-looking puff pastries, the generic-looking Chinese takeout cuisine, and heading straight for the sushi at Blue Fish. On the scale of accessible sushi, it's definitely above school versions and grocery stores. On the scale of price to quality to stuff-your-belly ratio, Blue Fish explodes through the roof! NOT MUCH OF ANYTHING ELSE There's probably 15 types of sushi and most are your regular American lover's delight. Overall, this is a small buffet with only two aisles of food and most likely you'll be bumping elbows with the bulky dudes trying to squeeze by. But you glance at the dining room and this place is always packed! And it's not filled with your typical buffet crowd of exasperated families and homeless people. Definitely worth checking out.

  • Charles S.

I was really torn on my star ratings. All I had at the Buffet was Rolls. Some were better than others. Some were fresher than others. Some trips up to the buffet there were fresh hot ones. I'm somewhat new to sushi but have eaten at quite a few places across the country and one other buffet in Merriville IN. The selection and quality was better than the one I had in Indiana and was $5 cheaper. The rolls I had were even better than some restaurants I've eaten at that are them fresh. So for a buffet I give it 5 stars and for a sushi restaurant I give it a 3 star. So I gave it a 4 star rating in the middle because it was tough to rate considering what it is.

    (4)
  • Francesca L.

First let me say I have extremely picky taste in Sushi--AZN and Blue Sushi are thousands times better than this place if you are looking for top of the line sushi, and Da Ru Mas or Tokyo Bay are way better for hibatchi. That being said...for the low price of $14.99 for a dinner buffet the sushi here is delicious and well worth it. While I was a little let down at the ambiance and type of people who gather here, the taste of the food was good and the drinks are cheap. No wine list, bad service, shady people and kids everywhere sticking their fingers in the ice cream bar, and not the most updated/stylish decor. NOT A PLACE FOR AN ANNIVERSARY OR FIRST DATE. This is a cheap lunch/dinner with a long time relationship or friends. I didn't like the other food besides the sushi.

    (3)
  • Frank L.

I visited here when they first opened, had the lunch buffet, nothing outstanding but friends brought us back for dinner & it was spectacular. The sushi was good but no huge variety (mostly Tuna, really good Tuna in a bunch of diff ways) The Chinese-delivery lunch line had some great things (General Tsao's & dumplings + more) ... Sauces aplenty for your grub, a hibachi table where the guy cooks your stuff up, great fun, we had fun here. I plowed 3 plates of sushi, 1 of hibachi, 2 of the hot stuff & one of dessert! I love Komoon & that's my go to spot but if I want to gorge on sushi & have tasty chinese take-out, it will run you & a friend $40, other places it's $65 & you're not stuffed... a nice & economic fun find, glad we gave it another chance!

  • Pyra-Danny V.

If buffets are typically pirated versions of the real food... Then Blue Fish has the stuff to jump past security. FOOD SELECTION You'll see your typical Chinese take-out stir fries and soups, but the flavors just seem a little more taken care of. More flavorful or slightly more fresh. Perhaps it's because there's not a dozen rows chocked full of items--Blue Fish only has two rows of food--but crammed into that small space are lots of small Asian-Fusion dishes. Just my guess, but this constant need to refill those displays leads to the better flavor because the food has to be prepared more often. The entire second row is just sushi. Although it's a very American selection and appears to contain a rotation of the same six ingredients, it's sushi done pretty well. It's definitely above supermarket sushi in terms of fresh flavor and texture, but not enough to make sushi snobs pause. SERVICE Don't expect smiles or kind compliments. This is an Asian restaurant run by Asians after all (I'm Asian--I know) But YOU WILL get brisk and normally attentive servers who are rapid at cleaning up used plates AMBIANCE For once, this is a buffet that doesn't look like it took over the open-planned space of a former community church. The entire food area has been herded into a room not visible from the floor. This, the dimmed lighting, and general "royal" décor helps to elevate the typical buffet experience

Hmm, I feel like this place isn't what it used to be? I mean it wasn't anything ever super fancy... But I feel the quality of the sushi used to be better. Maybe it's just me. I don't know. But anyways... For $9 dollars... Yes! Just $9 dollars, you can eat an UNLIMITED sushi lunch buffet! You really can't beat that price. They also have hot foods, which seem to range from an interested assortment of things. Chinese dumplings to apple pie to coconut shrimp. They have about 12 different sushi rolls you can try from. To be honest though, it all starts to taste the same after a while. Decent sushi, just don't expect anything super crazy for the price you pay. Still though, I always end up eating like three plates full. Buffets are a dangerous place for the figure, my friends! Unlimited seaweed salad!! I don't know how this place does this..... Usually for a small container at the grocery store, it's like $6... But here you can eat an entire tub full at the buffet! Amazing! The staff isn't the friendliest, but they do their job. They take your dirty plates away and refill the drinks quickly. Great places for large groups. They have a separate area in the back for everyone to sit at.

Not a very good atmosphere. Small, dark, kind of uncomfortable. The food area is hard to navigate through. Not a wide seafood variety. I won't come back.

Overall the quality and choices of food are worth the price. I went here for lunch one day and dinner another. There is a bit of a different in price as well as the food available during each. Dinner has all that is available during lunch plus hibachi and a few other things that are not out during lunch. The atmosphere is nice and the and people that work there are nice. Don't go expecting amazing food, but it is good for the price. The prices are incorrect on their website. Not much more though. I've gone twice already and I would go back. Compared to prices of other restaurants in the area the food is great for the price.

  • M O.

This is my go-to sushi place. I go here a lot not because it's amazing (hello, it's a sushi buffet in a strip mall), but because it's good. It's solid. I can get consistently decent sushi for a very cheap price. They have sushi and chinese food offerings, a full bar, beer, wine. Iv'e done the Hibachi before too - it's great! A lot of fun. Desserts are nice as well; the green tea ice cream is really good. The servers are typical of an Asian buffet - brusque, but usually efficient. I don't go to a buffet for the service, that's for sure. Solid place to come and not break the bank.

Great buffet selection of many delicious types of sushi and sashimi as well as Chinese food, Miso, wanton and sweet and sour soup, edamame, seaweed salad, desserts, ice cream, pastries, tempura selections and probably a dozen more things I never had the stomach capacity to try. All is fresh, plentIful and well prepared. I love this place. Will definitely return.

I agree with everyone on the Chinese buffet. It doesn't look appealing and the sushi dish is very limits of variet y. I wish they could have focus on better quality of sushi and cut out the Chinese Buffet thing.

I think this is about the only buffet in the area that popped up on my Yelp app, so I decided to check it out. It is your pretty standard sushi/chinese buffet. There is nothing that will blow your mind, but it is good solid food if you have a big appetite.

big buffet! sushi and oriental cuisine.

  • Oscar Z.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a sushi aficcionado. I like it, but not enough to be able to distinguish good from great. With that said, I thought this place had pretty darn good tasting sushi. I went for lunch with my wife and three kiddos and another couple that has one baby. The staff there was super friendly and accomidating. SUPER family friendly! Lunch was $8.99 for all you can eat sushi plus decent chinese buffet as well. This will for sure be my go to sushi place. It is not fancy, but is nice.

We love sushi! Being new in Naples we were a bit skeptical about the sushi buffet, but took our chances. first off all, we were surprised how amazing the sushi was. Service was slow but efficient. Dessert selection was good as well. Found my goto Sushi place!

Every time I visit the family in Naples, I make sure I stop in here. You cannot beat their sushi lunch specials. $8.95 for two rolls (off a fairly extensive list) plus salad and soup, and only $2 more if I want three rolls? Ridiculous. (I have only had issues with the salmon skin roll) Their ginger dressing has probably become one of my favorites in Naples. The hibachi entrees are nice sized, even the cheaper lunch ones, and I prefer the dishes here over the other hibachi options in town. The lunch ones also come with soup and salad so more often than not a to go box is in order. Service is a little hit or miss. If you get a hibachi lunch and they sit you in the room to the left with the grills, you may rarely see your server. (Though I rarely seem to need them more often than they do show their face) However, if you sit in the sushi bar/main room they at least seem to congregate within a distance you can get their attention if you do need something.

Good place for sushi, udon and buffet-style eating and best of all, it won't break the bank. We had a Phoenix roll and Spider roll...both were a nice size, presented beautifully and tasted great! We also shared a soup and tempora appetizer, With 2 people eating, including 2 sodas and a mixed drink, our tab was only $43. Not bad! Next time I'll try the bento box or perhaps the buffet! :)

We had the buffet here; $8.99 for lunch, with about 20 different entrees and sides, and about 20 different sushi and roll offerings. Drink service was fairly quick, but when my wife was off getting a plate of food, the waitress came to refill our water, first mine then hers, and spilled water all over in both cases. The problem was that she picked up my wife's glass to fill it... over her seat. WTF? Why not fill it over the carpeted floor where people walk, if you're going to spill, rather than over the seat where it'll make their butt wet? The other reason this isn't a solid 4-star (and it might be; I'll have to come back and try it again, I think) is that there wasn't any entree on the buffet that made me want to have an entire meal made out of it; for most of the stuff, a single serving spoonfull was all I wanted. I mean, the food was tasty, but there was nothing that made me go "OMG I want more of this." The sushi was very well made, and it speaks well to the quality of the chefs for the non-buffet sushi. The rolls were good, and in some cases quite creative. Also, the ice cream and dessert offerings were nice; I especially liked the red bean ice cream, and the green tea.

Good place to go for to get your sushi fix. It's an AYCE sushi/japanese place, and you can't beat the price. For lunch, it's DEFINITELY worth it. Quality of fish is good, and the hot dishes are pretty tasty too. I would recommend coming here for large groups (they'll seat you in a hibachi room).

I have eatten here several time. It is ok at best. The staff was not very friendly. We did the hibachi once and buffet x 3. For the hibachi they asked us for the age of our twins who qualified for child rate. They then proceeded to charge us the adult rate. Why ask? Haven't been back since.

I didn't really dig this place. Rather than sit at the teppan style grill, we ate in the quieter side of the restaurant and ordered off the regular menu. The food was mostly pretty good, actually -- we had sushi, sashimi, miso soup and udon noodles. Aside from the miso soup, which I found really lacking in flavor, everything tasted good and fresh. Nothing made me say "wow," but neither did anything make me say "ugh, nastified." Our server, though, was among the most brusque and off-putting servers whom I have ever met. He spoke to my wife as though she were an idiot. He got all defensive when I merely took a few seconds to look over the bill to ensure its accuracy, then actually grabbed it and wrenched it (and my credit card) out of my hands before I was finished. It takes a whole lot to actually make me angry at waitstaff, but this guy won the prize. To be fair, we had some of our meal delivered to us by another server, who was very pleasant (read: the total opposite). Due to the service experience alone, I must say I will not be returning. Naples is a much more cosmopolitan place now than it was when we moved here a decade ago, and I can get sushi that's as good or better at several other places in town -- without the appalling attitude.

This place is ok. They have good buffet food, enough options. OK sushi. At night they have "hibachi" at the buffet although that usually takes a 15 min wait tho.

My bf & I were in town for vacation, and this was our first stop after a long morning of travel. They have an 8.99 lunch buffet from 11:30-3:30. Half the buffet was sushi. All items were so fresh and delish. The hot plate item highlight was the pineapple pork. There were also lots of dessert choices: vanilla wafer pudding, watermelon, oranges, kiwi. We ended our lunch gorge with green tea ice cream (scoop your own serving); this is a must if you come here!

Good food... but must have had a really bad waitress as I never saw her again to ask if I needed a refill for my drink. So be fore warned that you will need to take small sips of whatever you order as you may not get another refill til you get home and get one yourself.

Wow. I ate over 50 pieces of sushi, plus lots of other yummy stuff. While it's not the top of the top, for the price, you REALLY can't beat it! I definitely plan on going back. If they have their maple ice cream, I recommend saving room for it!

Honestly one of the better buffets I've been to. Not the biggest I've been to - its actually quite small, but still welcoming and still lots to eat. You also have the option of ordering from a menu instead of eating the buffet, which is great for those who don't want to pay for $16.99 (on weekends). Hmm, not the best sushi but it did taste really fresh. I love sashimi so you know I definitely hit that up. They have a few Chinese options (beef broccoli, bok choy) but mostly Japanese (duh lol). Great fresh seafood bar! My friend ate enough mussels for all 5 of us, haha. There's a Hibachi chef there at your service if you want something cooked. Just bring your dish to him and go back like 5 minutes later and it'll be ready. I love how they give you the option of having brown rice OR white rice! AND! They also served red bean ice cream and green tea ice cream! Probably my FAVORITE part of the meal lol. As full as I was, I got seconds! Can't resist red bean/green tea ice cream. Omnomnommm.

Been here a couple of times. We held my son's birthday party here. Service was great. Sushi is average but very fresh since they have a high turnover. Good selection, good for large parties and very kid friendly.

All you can eat sushi for $15 is a great deal. Excellent variety of sushi, but the Chinese side isn't as great. So if you are going strictly for the Chinese food, there are better choices. The food was freshly prepared and they were very busy late on a Friday night in early May. Service was just ok considering they only had to remove some plates.

I am a huge YELP fan, but typically do not write reviews, UNLESS the place could do bodily harm. . This is the case in point with Blue Fish. I love sushi and my normal haunts were not open yet on a Sunday morning so decided to check out this place after a friend suggested we meet there later in the week... Blue Fish is an AYCE Japanese Buffet which I am usually not a fan of, however, being that they had opened 20 minutes prior, how dangerous could it be?? Server had no personality-- honestly a trained chimp can bring a drink and clear plates! He got my drink order and left. No explanations on the buffet or even if it was the only option (personally I would have ordered off of a lunch menu). I should have known to beware when I grabbed the plastic table tent to read and my hand stuck to some identified sticky goo mixed with something that sorta resembled burnt coconut. The buffet had the traditional Japanese items and on the opposite side was the sushi island, full of pre-made items sitting on a piece of Plexiglas over bowls of ice. I started with a few items off the "hot" side and a cup of soup. Luckily it was primarily vegetables because the items were barely warm. I only had a few bites of sauteed "cold" beans and slimy cold gyoza and decided to try the bowl of soup. Again, not even lukewarm. I pushed it aside and decided to try the sushi. There was a good selection, but as I reached for the spicy tuna roll, it was already forming a deep red"crust" over the pureed tuna. I have never seen spicy tuna so processed before, so in combo with the crust, it was a "no-go"! Lucky for me I staled because I had the opportunity to stand and and watch an attendant reach in with his bare hands and reorganize several of the trays of raw fish. He wiped his hands on his pants each time (as not to cross contaminate!) however, then proceeded to step out and grab some of the serving spoons and dish up a plate of fried rice and gyoza for his lunch! Again, I am not a germ freak but isn't there something written about proper warming temperatures, raw fish and handling utensils that the public uses! That was enough to know that it might be safer scraping my neighbors Thanksgiving Day turkey leftovers out of the garbage pail Monday morning before putting raw fish from this place in my mouth! I asked for my bill, pushed the uneaten food aside and told the waiter that the food was inedible and he should let someone know that it is cold. He said, "I can't do nothing for you (which I never asked for)" and said--"let her know" and pointed to I am assuming the manager. As I brought my bill to the counter to pay ($11.40!), I started steaming a bit more. She was running my card and I thought that I would let her know that my experience was probably the worst I have had in some time. and that most of the food was cold on the buffet, as well as clue her in on the sushi situation. Her response was 1) she knows it is cold because they just opened, it is cold outside and the burners aren't warm and when the food came out, it was hot (really?) and 2) was I sure that the attendant was not using gloves because the "health inspector told them they had to!" and then proceeded to ask me which person so they can review on tape later. At what point did I start working for them??? Especially since I still ended up paying for the crappy 3 bites I choked down and the $2.00 ice tea that I never touched?? Naples is not a food mecca by any means, however, I am in awe of the reviews for this dive! C'mon--Cheap buffets are one thing, but I would seriously reconsider if your health means anything to you!

Very impressive selection of sushi, chinese food, etc, etc... Staff are quite friendly. The hibachi thing was also quite good. Though it was an incredible deal, the place didnt feel too clean, and people were bumping into me in the narrow aisles between the two buffets. Also the utensils for picking up food were not cleaned often. I may go back once every six - eight months, but definitely only in off hours such as weekdays after 8.00 pm.

Went on the weekend with dinner buffet at $16.99 not including beverages. Ordered tea (a tea bag in a cup) was $2.00. Sushi was standard - nothing to rave about - I've had much better. The selection was not that much compared to other restaurants that I have frequented (although in the Miami area). Dressing for the lettuce was something not accustomed to - it's usually supposed to be miso dressing - I could not determine if it was some watered down ranch or something. Don't know if it's just Naples as I have not been in the area for years. I agree with other posters the buffet had a small selection. If you are going for appetizers - this is the place to go, at a premium price. I can get the same items at Publix. Yes, staff did not even thank us for coming to the restaurant. You have to serve yourself and get utensils and napkins and then expect a tip?!

I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the fish is here! The sushi is as good if not better than you'd get at a straight up sushi joint. Good service, good atmosphere, great sushi!

One of the best Japan Steakhouses in Naples. The servers are a little stand offish. The steak and shrimp is great. The fried rice is really tasty.
