Excellent. All of the food was delicious. Everyone was friendly, order was done quickly and correctly. Everything in the restaurant is clean and the kitchen looks like they clean it so much the color is coming out of the tile! I couldn't cook tonight because I was sick so my fiance ordered dinner along with some wonton soup for me. Best I've ever had and it didn't bother me at all. I also was able to eat some of their chicken wings because they were not greasy. Not one bit! He had the General Tso's combination platter and said it was delicious and his favorite Chinese restaurant by far down here. Glad we tried it. Looking forward to going back again.

We ordered for pick up. House special fried rice and chicken and broccoli, and beef and mixed vegetables. It is drowned in this Ross sauce. It may have been ok without the sauce. The rice taste bland. I can't even finish it. My food is going in the garbage. They were fast in pick up. That's the only reason it gets more than 1 star. Not good- at all.

Don't bother...I ordered the General Tso chicken. The chicken was full knuckles (hard pieces that I don't think we're original parts of the chicken) and tasted like fish! They must fry everything in the same oil. The spring roll had the same fishy taste and I'm pretty sure it was "supposed" to be veggie. The best part of the meal, a meal that went in the garbage, was the fortune cookie. Skip this place!! Walk next door to Charlena's Pizza or grab a sub from Publix instead.

We have tenaciously avoided Bamboo Wok due to negative reviews. In our quest for decent Chinese food we have ventured out to Golden Gate and tried the 5 star reviewed Chinese take-out restaurant, but only rate it 2 1/2 stars max. We have driven 20 miles round trip to Marco Island for decent Chinese food and rate it 4 stars, but the 40 minute round trip commute was exhausting especially in-season. Finally, we have occasioned PF Chang's in N.Naples which is good, but overpriced. My wife and I finally decided to give Bamboo Wok a try for lunch. A customer placed a large take-out order before us so we waited and listened to the chef work and bang the wok along with occasional hisses as he added liquid to the mixture. It was music our ears since most Chinese restaurants simply scoop out already cooked ingredients from warming pans. Our food arrived hot, ample and without a lot of bulk vegetable. My orange chicken was moist, tender and delicious and the white rice was perfectly cooked. My wife gave high reviews to her shrimp with garlic sauce and pork fried rice. If you are looking for PF Chang ambiance this is not your place. If you are looking for white tablecloths this is not your place. But, if your are looking for really good Chinese food without a lot of frills this is definitely your place. The chef and the order taker were both young, pleasant and courteous...perhaps they are new owners. Anyway, we are looking forward to our next visit.

What a joke of a restaurant! I recently moved here from Illinois and this is the ONLY chinese restaurant that delivers to my address. Well... let me take that back. The have only delivered ONCE to my address. The other THREE times I have called after spending about 20 minutes writing down what I want to order, they tell me that they have no delivery driver today. He is sick? He didn't come in to work? Wow.... They are losing my business. I sure hope another restaurant opens here soon.

I have tried Just a few things thus far and I will go out of my way to try more. My wife and I are picky with our Chinese fare. Hunan seems to be in our favorites and Bamboo gives us what we like. They are of a select few that offer string beans and beef. They are very generous in their portions. The beef is delicate and the sauce is devine. The rice is consistant in both white and fried.. The egg rolls are small throughout Florida. But these are, at least crisp and tasty. The wonton soup was my concern unil I tasted it. Truly a NY style wonton. Pork is dead on tender. So that is my initial review. This is as good as it gets for around here. Try it and see for yourself. Next door is the Naples Pizza and Ristorante Italiano. They won't disappoint you. This is a gem of a shopping center with a wonderful PUBLIX at the hub. Sit outside when the Florida weather is at it's finest and you will want to come back here. I still need my take out though.Bamboo Wok (239) 417-9988 is now on my speed dial. No I am not the owner... I just right a damn good review if I like someting.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
