A new favorite! My girl friend and I were starving and they have this awesome happy hour menu we ordered from. Delish! We had the Spicy Tuna Roll, Calamari (very very good and tender), Beef Lo Mein, and Chicken Lettuce Wraps! I was so impressed with the portion sizes. It is great value with quality food and they don't short you on food options. I can't wait to go back and try everything. We were full and the meal didn't break the piggy bank. Win! I've also got to mention, these were some of the nicest employees I have ever come across. The bartender, Angela was a real sweetie. She was smiley, and friendly, and very attentive. The restaurant manager, Barry, is amazing as well. He really is a great guy. I had a little situation after cutting my foot on some barnacles earlier that day in the gulf and he actually wrapped it up with gauze and bandages and cleaned it out for me. I was/still am floored with that level of compassion. I have a new hang out :) I'll be back this week for sure!

This place is the absolute worst. The sushi is a complete joke and a gigantic waste of time, money and space. Here is an example of how much of a joke the sushi is: Have you ever had chicken fingers at a Chinese restaurant, you know, where they come all golden, glossy and greasy?? Well those fattening, disgusting things are how they make their shrimp tempura, yes, SHRIMP TEMPURA. What are they thinking??? Oh yeah, way overpriced too. Stay Away!!! (Disclaimer: I am a sushi snob and have been eating it since I was a kid. Take that as you may) Ambience is deceiving, seems like a fun and cool place but really it is loud, dirty and cheap looking. The manager dresses like a slob and just an overall bad vibe.

Came in tonight expecting to have a great meal, the ambience seemed right, the kitchen looked busy. 1. Had the wonton soup gave it 3 out of 5 2. Had the shrimp tempura ,what can I say, publix supermarket has better sushi rolls than this quarter size roll. I rate this a 1 out of 5 3. And finally had the kamikaze roll it looked good except for the crab being overcooked tasting like a tuna melt gave it a 3 out of 5 Overall the place looks great food not so much, I rather spend my money at a PEI WEI or Publix supermarket sushi.

Really, not good. Sub par. 1st, it is supposed to be Asian food, but I get that is it fusion. To start we got the "Firecracker" sushi which was one of their specialty rolls. All I tasted was mayonnaise, which overpowered any taste of what might be sushi. The roll was made with brown rice, which is really not good for sushi......even if you think brown rice is better. Also, I think the crab meat was imitation crab....which is used in a lot of rolls but there was too much of it. Next, I got the Korean short ribs. There actually is a legitimate Korean ribs meal, but this wasn't it....not even close. It was a pot roast with Sriracha sauce. The beef was burned and dry, and hard to eat. It was served with mashed potatoes.....not sure where that is even fusion Asian food. Lastly, the Mercato area has become a new hip area to hang out. People go there to have fun but must perceive the restaurants there to be upscale, which they really aren't. I've been disappointed so far with AZN and Masa both.

I would have to describe this place as good but not excellent but fits with the type of atmosphere you would find in an open air shopping area like this. Here is how unremarkable this place was, I don't even remember what I has to eat and it was only a week ago. I remember that the food was tasty but unspectacular. I remember that my Old Fashioned was made with way too much sugar and too many ice cubes (think soft drink). Now I will give them some benefit of the doubt seeing as how I had just gotten done with 8 hours of plane rides to get to Florida and I wasn't upset or dissatisfied with what I had it just wasn't memorable and for me memorable is what it takes to get to the 4-5 star range.

Basically PF Changs on steroids. The food was not bad, and our server was pretty cool. We pretty much talked about the Broncos/Chargers game on television and fantasy football. The drinks however were pretty damn bad, no awful. She had a berry mojito, and I had a peach flavored vodka mojito. I need a glass of water just thinking about it. This is the only time during our vacation that my wife and I did not order a second drink. I can't say that I will be dining here again with certainty but if a friend or family member chooses it I wouldn't mind.

I think the reason this place gets so busy is because of the location in Mercato as it's right at the entrance, but I thought it was kind of overrated and over priced for what you get, but the atmosphere is nice. I came here with two other people and we weren't super hungry so we got a bottle of wine, three rolls and dumplings. The dumplings were tasty and the sushi was decent. We ordered one special roll and the server explained that it was big enough for one person as an entree and at $25 it would need to be, but I appreciated the honesty. It wasn't an amazing meal or anything, but I can't really complain too much. If I was in Naples and in the mood for sushi, I'd probably look somewhere a little less fusion style, but all in all it was decent.

  • Scott S.

Nice decor and trendy type of place (reminds me of the Asian fusion places in large cities). I actually thought the sushi was very good, but people in my party were pretty ehh about the rest of the food. It's a bit on the pricey side, which is suppose could be expected for the area. Overall, seems like a nice place to grab drinks or some food, and get decked out to be seen etc. I think I'd return

Was here on a Thursday night for a couple of apps and a few drinks. We sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Crowd was middle to upper aged. Nice atmosphere overall. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Sushi rolls, seaweed salad, and edamame were all very good. Music on the green outside came into the restaurant and was enjoyable until the wait staff decided to close the dividing doors...

  • Foodie D.

Average food, it's all about being seen. Small fish/big rice at a premium price sushi. Sushi rolls were in 1/2" slices. It's all about being seen and pretentious. I ordered the tempura shrimp and spider rolls. All 16 pieces (8/ea) arrived on an appitizer plate. I thought the waiter was gonna put down another plate but I looked again and was completely disappointed. The calamari was good though. If you're looking good food, skip it. If you're looking to be seen, act pretentious, and showing off how much you don't know about sushi and asian cuisine, a must visit.

My daughter and I ate outside Thursday night and had deplorable service. Our waiter came exactly three times, to take our order, drop off 2 sodas and deliver our check... We had to literally beg to get refills on our sodas. The person delivering our food promised to refill our sodas but never came back and then the "concerned manager" finally refilled our drinks, after a lengthy wait. We had to eat our meals without beverages, no water either. My entree was hot and the lack of something to drink with it literally ruined it. I am glad we weren't their to have a "nice, enjoyable meal" as it was horrible. The manger couldn't even comp our sodas for good measure. DONT GO THERe IF YOU WANT SERVICE...

We stopped there for a sunday lunch and it was relatively busy. The restaurant is decorated nicely and its clean. The mussels appetizer were good, a couple of unopened and a couple of very small ones but the rest of them and the sauce were nice and very tasty. The chinese eggplant was delicious, a must try. The sashimi platter was really good, very fresh. The prices, I thought were very reasonable. The service a little spotty, but we survived it. I'd be back!

Beautiful Decor, very comfortable surroundings, soft booths inside. Outdoor seating is plentiful and a great way to people watch down the main drag of Mercato. Food selection was creative, interesting drinks, healthy choices. I had the recommended Eggplant, but it was very salty and thick in gravy. Brown rice was kind of hard. My partner had one of their boxes, a good deal. Desserts were to die for, Tempura cheesecake, Chocolate Caramel Taffy apple. Not cheap but nothing is on this strip. Service was excellent.

  • Belgin L.

Wow such great flavors. I had the best Mongolian beef with the best egg rolls on the side . My husband's ribs were so nicely spiced. Aunties walnut shrimps were to die for!! Appetizers were pork dumplings just yummy!! Will be back!

How do you say that? Aye-jdunn? Aaa-zun? A-Z-N? Well, Neopolitans like to spell it out, so there you are. I ducked in here alone for happy hour apps at the bar before screening a film upstairs at Silverspot. I had a half dozen allegedly spiced salmon roll, and a bowl of salted edamame, along with a glass of house Chardonnary. Bill: $14. The veg was delicious. The sushi was fine, but not spiced. I had to ask for wasabi, because apparently more patrons poke it around while they complain, "Haaawt, " than love it. Go figure. This time my experience with A-Z-N was G-O-O-D.

This is possibly my favorite restaurant in the Naples area. I tried bites and samples of many appetizers and meals and didn't find one thing I didn't like. Considering how extremely picky I am in all walks of life, especially food, this is really saying something! The location is fantastic for car watching, people watching, outdoor dining, shopping, you name it! The service was very friendly and not overbearing. The food (how many ways can I say this) was TO DIE FOR. Even the satay (which I'm generally not a fan of) was delicious. I can't wait to go back!

    (5)
  • Kristine R.

Service was soooo slow at this place. In face at one point I was asking other waiters for things because mine disappeared. The food was mediocre. I actually think the appetizers I had were better than the actual meal. The Mongolian beef tacos were the highlight. I definitely wouldn't be inclined to go back. I could get better Asian food at pf Changs.

Came to have a good night with some friends. The waitress was nice but kept pulling down her too short of a dress, she looked uncomfortable. Food took too long to come out and was a little cold. I ordered the Hong Kong stir fry, tasted like they didn't put in water just slapped it into a frying pan. Won't be coming back, highly recommend else were, like we should have done in the first place.

Beautiful inside!! Pretty good food as well. I hear happy is the way to go for this place, a lot of food for a good price. Regular dinner prices are pricey.

Food was pretty good. The atmosphere was good for people watching (we sat outside). The service was excellent and the waitress was very personable and friendly. Overall, I probably wouldn't return because, for the price, there are other restaurants that better fit my taste.

The only thing decent here is the sushi. The meals were not good at all, in fact my husband couldn't even eat more than two bites. They were nice and took his off the bill. We did not expect this quality of food in mercato. Will not be returning.

It's places like this that makes me dislike food runners. If they bring one more tray of food to my table that isn't mine I'll ......... So slow Oh the food? It was good!

Good sushi - got the dynamite lobster roll, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura. Price was a little higher than most sushi places I've been to, but given the location it's understandable. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and outside seating available - I would recommend to anyone looking for something different when going out to dinner or lunch.

Food, drinks, and ambiance were fantastic! I loved the tuna avocado roll, then I had the Thai basil veggie dish with fried tofu. We also had edamame and drinks. My husband loved the blood orange martini and I had the strawberry lemonade martini which was the freshest strawberries in the drink I've had. I also tried the Fuji sparkling saki which was also fantastic. My sister in law is gf and so is another friend; we appreciated the easy menus to accommodate them. We had a large group of 15 and were waited on quickly and efficiently. Friendly service and great food! I loved the lighting and waterfall inside...it made it feel peaceful and interesting to the eye.

Was there for dinner with cousin who lives in FL and i really like this place. We tried a couple of sushi rolls, which was very yum and mom had the Yang chow fried rice and it was the best fried rice i ever had! Real yum. We had mojitos too and i tried one with pinneaple and super yum! We sat outside and there was a band playing across the street and theres a pub across from it where we could watch cute guys in and out lol Hopefully we'll eat more there next year when we stop by in FL

Outstanding Asian food. I really enjoyed the sushi here and it was the best I have had on the Florida West coast. In fact, everything I had here was really good and the menu is pretty large and diverse.

This place is FINE. The food is FINE, the service is FINE, the atmosphere is FINE - it feels like a nice PF Changs. If you're in the area, you'll be happy with AZN, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there

We have been dining there since it opened at Mercato. We have tried sushi and other foods. Most recently, Cantonese duck was most enjoyable. Service is always with a smile, efficiency, and knowledge of menu. It's great to enjoy a wine and dinner after movie at the Silverspot. EAP

This place is A-wait for it-MAZING! Honestly. I am SUCH a sushi snob...the snobbiest of snobs, actually. I would easily give my right leg for a lifetime supply of their Mt. Fuji rolls. We recently moved to Tampa and AZN is the ONLY thing I miss about Naples. Their Mongolian beef tacos are a grand slam-especially for my husband who isn't the biggest of sushi fans and is always happy to order these for his entree! I am obsessed with the Mandalay Crab Angels (crab, cream cheese, and fried wonton...can't go wrong) and the Mt. Fuji Roll. They have several other delicious rolls-you really can't go wrong. The white (mango) sangria is delicious too!! Highly recommend. Don't go during season-just don't. It's all old people and the wait is redonkulous. Go for lunch or during the summer, and sit at the bar.... Best date night or girlfriend date ever!!!!

  • Jeremiah J.

My wife and I live down here full time and my mother and father in law joined us this past weekend. We had heard good things about AZN but have never tried it so we gave it a shot on Saturday night. It was raining fairly hard but we opted to sit outside anyway. We were seated and met our waiter, I believe his name was Mike A. ensured us he would "keep us dry." I had the Mongolian beef (which was some of the best I have ever had) and we split a couple bottles of wine. The service was outstanding as well, Mike was so polite and knowledgable. We will definitely be returning soon, not only for the food but to see Mike, who's smile and attitude is contagious. Even my mother in law was ecstatic (that never happens at restaurants!). Well done AZN staff (especially Mike!), we will be seeing you soon!!

So... This place may have been having a bad day lol. The good was average but should have been better for the price. There were a few slip ups... One friend had an egg shell in her pad thai. Another ordered a spring roll expecting it to be vegetarian but it had chicken in it (although the menu said vegetarian) and finally, they charged the wrong check to our credit card and had to correct it haha. Waitress was nice, service was fast. My salmon sushi was okay. Like I said, could have been a bad day ;)

I love it here, considering me and my girlfriend pretty much lived here when we came to Naples back in March. The reverse happy hour is the best idea for the younger crowd who wants to eat a little later and not blow the bank, food and drinks range from $3-$6 at the bar and the atmosphere is fun and modern. Great for people watching! Came here again last night for a regular dinner with the family, and it did not disappoint. Ordered the ceviche which was very fresh and had great mint and spicy flavors, but a little heavy on the fillers like the cucumber and tomato. House salad was satisfying and the sushi/sashimi is always fresh and hearty!

I've been back a couple of times since the horrible experience and I must admit the food has improved. They've also changed the menu a bit. However, each time I'm there the service is so slowwwww. Especially for lunch since there only seems to be the bartender (maybe one other server) for the entire restaurant. Even if the restaurant isn't busy, the service will still be horrible. Yay for food, nay for service. Expect to wait a while for drinks, food, and refills.

Hoppin' place at Mercato (yes, it's spelled incorrectly ... ), nice 'n noisy, packed with happy people. The food is very good. The drinks are very good. The service is among the worst in Naples. We've dined at AZN maybe five times since it opened, and not once have we been greeted with a smile by the seating chicks. Not once have we been greeted by a server with a smile. Not once have we received anything close to the level of service most (expensive) restaurants would find unacceptable. I feel sorry for the wait staff. They must have just awful supervisors. So we tip well, and of course we'll come back (as I said, great location, great food), but my goodness imagine what a gold mine this could be if the owners would take a course in Restaurant Service 101.

  • William M.

Poor service after ordering drinks we tried to put a sushi order in and was told the wait would be over 40 minutes. The resturant was 1/3 full when Shawn the manager was questioned he said look at that table they ordered $700 worth of sushi and just have to wait.

    (1)
  • Joey B.

Inattentive staff, lackluster cuisine. I wouldn't return. Quick synopsis: We waited roughly 20 minutes for our drinks to be brought out and I returned my main entree. Nuff said?

A little pricey but very good sushi. Nice environment as well. My husband and I usually go to a sushi place in ft Myers, but it's quite a drive. Tried AZN because it is much closer to where we lived and I was very impressed. As I said it was a little more expensive, but worth it, in my opinion. I will be going there again.

Quiet afternoon, just the way we like it. We sat inside and waited, and waited. Finally we were attended to and ordered Sake and waters. And you know it...Waited and waited and waited. Shouldn't I be the one called waiter? This guy arrives and when asked for suggestions he was now a dumb waiter. .My wife and I looked at each other and tacitly agreed that we have an awful waiter. Ok... Vietnamese Spring Rolls for me along with the Korean Beef Short Ribs Tender boneless short ribs Korean style served with sautéed vegetable medley and mashed potatoes. My wife wants the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box. So we sip our chilled Unfiltered Nigori Sho Chiku Bai . I get my spring rolls and they were good and the sauces were tangy, but when I see Vietnamese attached, I think fish sauce and lettuce/veggie wrapped around it. The Entrees arrive and we get our meal adjusted and silverware out, Mr. Bad waiter asks us how everything is, and I say we didn't even try it yet. He replies, "Good!" and flies off. Not a word was listened to by this man. That moron does not need to be in this business. Additionally, my wife is not impressed at all. The chicken flavors were odd. The salad was so-so. I watched her pick at it slowly and we noted our veggies were a bit too raw. However my short ribs were fantastic and ruined by a decent mashed potato ball with a light gravy that wasn't even near hot. But yes...The ribs would make me return, alone of course. I had to get a manager to get us our check. No dessert was offered by our rarely seen waiter. The disconcerting thing that also stands out in my mind, is that every staff member was more concerned with the football games than the attention their customers deserved. I am generous with the three stars.

Went here for a late lunch and grabbed table outdoors. Wife described her won ton soup as tasty and fresh as though they just prepared it. We ordered sushi (Philly, firecracker, and the Funky Buddha). The firecracker was good and is a popular item. The Philly was as expected. The Funky Buddha was incredible. They use a curry sauce that surprisingly doesn't overpower the fish. In fact, the sauce used on their sushi is drizzled instead if poured over their creations. The fish melted with each bite. Love that they provide gluten-free menu items and will make rolls with brown rice. The waiter was excellent with suggestions.

Try the firecracker roll. Hot but super tasty! Great happy hour deals from 3-7, and one hot little mama behind the bar!

I loved this place! I was skeptical at first because of all the different types of Asian foods on the menu (Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese etc.). Usually, my theory is that if you have more than 1 type of Asian food, then it's probably not good or authentic. However, I ended up loving the food! I got a seaweed salad to start and it was huge! For my entree, I got the Malaysian Panang Curry Chicken. The curry was just the right flavor of sweet and spicy, and the chicken was super tender and delicious. Portion size for this was huuuuge -- I was pretty hungry and only ate about half of it! Makes for delicious leftovers. :) Some of my friends got sushi and they all loved their sushi rolls. I tried my one friend's kamikaze roll (Spicy lobster, blue crab, scallions, cucumber and avocado topped with tuna, salmon, and a dab of sriracha and eel sauce -- WHAAAAT!) -- woooooooow!!!! Highly recommended. These rolls are huge so if you get one roll, that is probably equivalent to an entree. Something that I really love about this place is that there are dishes of all different prices here. If you are on a budget, you can get an entree for like $12 (and these entrees have very generous portions, even the cheap ones!), but they also have some more expensive items on the menu, as well (Korean bbq short ribs, Chilean sea bass), if you're in the mood for something a little fancier. The fish bowl drink is good to get if you're with a big group -- it is extremely sweet, though and hard to drink too much at once unless you have a huge sweet tooth! This is a great place to come with groups before going out in the Mercato area. If I'm ever in Naples again, I would definitely come back to this place!

I've been to AZN only twice now, but both times it's always just okay. The atmosphere is very trendy and modern with tranquil inside water fountains and zen like paintings everywhere. No complaints about that. The service was decent, but on the slow side. Don't drink your beverage too quickly. Who knows when's the next time your server may show up. I had to ask 3 different people just to get a pair of chopsticks! The food never seems memorable to me. It's not bad, but I feel nothing a decent take-out place couldn't make. I tried the pad thai and some of my sister's General Tso's chicken. The pad thai just didn't have that stir fried flavor! It was just random sauce and noodles heated up together. The General Tso's chicken was just ehhh. The sushi is actually decent, but pricy!! I guess you're paying for the atmosphere or something.

A nice place to stop in before/after a movie. Pork dumplings are a nice start but only 4 to the plate. They have soy paper for their sushi (which makes me very happy.) The pork lettuce cups are delicious. The miso soup is too salty. A little pricey due to location.

  • Carlene R.

I love AZN because of the amazingly fresh food. I have never had anything that's not great and I am addicted to the firecracker roll. That being said, I have been here at least 25 times and have never had good service. The waitstaff seems uneducated and unmotivated. Don't expect a refill or another cocktail and if you need something with your food you are really on your own. Food takes forever (seriously expect to be there 2 hours) which I usually don't mind because the atmosphere is nice but there have been many times that I would come here but I didn't because I didn't have a few hours to spare. The lunch specials are great but the happy hour is not what it used to be. The bartenders rarely seem friendly and the hostesses are the only people who seem happy to be here. Management really needs to get this under control because the food and atmosphere is just too good to allow the restaurant to go down because of staff and execution.

Has been one of my favorites since it opened. I'm extremely picky on my salmon and this place never disappoints. Its cooked perfectly every time and no fishiness as i've experience many times in some restaurants. Sushi is always great but I must say try the sea bass or salmon, you wont regret it. Servers and management have always been delightful.

Ate here last night with the family for the second time in as many as two years. Consistent, valued, superb presentation, unusual memo and nice service. Decor is fabulous. For those of you back in Boca, think Stir Crazy with more panache. For this thinking similar layout with "do-it-yourself" bar - think again - it's all gracious table service, with the full bar - plus SUSHI. Fabulous for vegans/veggies and great for the family too. Started with veggie dumplings, seaweed salad, and vegetable lettuce wraps. Main courses included firecracker sushi roll, eggplant and chicken satay. All were A+ in terms of careful preparation, spiciness, and heat. Superbly fresh, expertly created/crafted and a delight on the tastebuds. Perhaps - however - and much to our surprise was the recommendation for the cold-COCONUT (yup, that's right) SAKE. Let's just say that my wife and I have a new friend. OMG...get out of my way...ABC Liquors....I'm on your doorstep the moment I return home. It was a great night. All around. 'Nuf said.

Good quality sushi with some creative dishes. The Mongolian beef starter was amazing. I'd recommend reservations as it fills up quickly at 630-7pm, but the service for the most part kept up. Would go again.

I was down visiting my grandparents and wanted to take them to somewhere they've never been... AZN was a great choice. Eerily similar to PF Changs. The bento boxes are a great lunch deal. Portion sizes are large, staff is friendly.

Great food for a reasonable price! Hubby and I came here and sat at the bar in order to watch the necessary Packers vs. Vikings game. Nice ambiance, full but not over crowded, attentive service, great food, FREE Valet parking outside! We started with the Blue Crab California and Mt Fuji sushi rolls. Both were delicious! The sushi was extremely fresh and was abundant. The Mt Fuji was rich as it had cream cheese in it, but totally delicious and beautiful presentation. Dinner I had the Basil Vegetable Tofu - the vegetables were cooked to perfection with just a little crunch (portabella mushrooms, snap peas, carrots, leeks, red and green peppers, broccoli, water chestnuts, and spinach) . The thai basil sauce and white rice it came with were perfect. There was a LOT of food so I ended up taking half home for lunch the next day. Hubby ordered the Chilean Seabass. What a gorgeous dish! It is served baked in a miso-sake sauce and has misoyaki glaze and a red beet vinaigrette puree on the side along with rice and veggies. It was gorgeous, flakey, and delicious. Needless to say, there weren't any leftovers here :) For two appetizers, two entrees, and a few cocktails for the hubby we were out of there with a $78 tab. Not bad for phenomenal food, good wine, and a laid back environment, I could definitely get used to watching football games at places like AZN :)

3 3/4*s Almost all our dishes were very good: short ribs, Chilean sea bass, string beans, sushi; the one exception was their medallion steaks which were tough. It is a loud and lively place with good people watching. I recommend to go with a larger group as opposed to a one-on-one situation, unless you hate having to talk (or listen to) your partner. We had the most friendly server as well : very cute, helpful, and accommodating.

One of my favorite places in Naples to eat. Large menu with lot's of options and very well priced. In the 3 years I have been eating there, I've only had one bad entree which was taken off the bill. Happy hour is great as well.

In the Mercato in Naples. I have eaten there before and it was very good for both sushi and other types of Asian food. This time because it is off season they were running a special. 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for $30 or $50 depending on the entree. we were 4 people so we had 4 different entrees and 2 bottles of wine. portions were very large so we shared and it was a feast. you can sit inside or on a large patio outside for people watching.

Genre for rating: Asian/sushi A staple restaurant in mercato, and probably one of your better overall dining option, especially if you are in the mood for Asian. This place gets my award for my favorite roll, the firecracker. Yummy candy apple dessert as well. Food: **** Service:**** Atmosphere: ***

Went for happy hour with some friends. 3-7, limited menu with drink specials and half off wine under $75. A very good deal, overall. We were seated on the patio, and service was prompt. The wine list seemed a little disjointed compared to the cuisine -- very California cabernet-centric, where I would have expected more aromatic whites and sparkling wines to dominate, with a good smattering of light-bodied, fruity reds, but perhaps people do want to order heavy, tannic cabernets with their sushi rolls... We had a bottle of pinot noir instead, as most of our crowd preferred reds to whites; with the price break, it was just over retail, a good deal. I did note that they offer $20 corkage if you want to bring your own bottle. The happy hour portions were a little on the small side (and served with no rice), but satisfying enough for a snack. I had the general tso's chicken, which was a little on the sweet side and not as spicy as I'd expected. My wife described the beef lo mein as "really yummy, but mostly noodles, not much beef." For the 4 of us, with a bottle of wine and a drink (one of us preferred a sangria to pinot noir), the happy hour bill was $58 and change before tip. They had no problem splitting the bill up into half (for us) and quarters (for our friends). I really wish there was a half-star to give this 3.5, but in this case I'll round down due to the wonky wine list and lacking beef in the lo mein.

Nice atmosphere. Great location. Lots of outdoor seating. Food looks great but....had a very chewy piece of chicken in the dish. Stopped eating it. Waiter asked if I wanted to take it home. Said no, told him why and pointed to the napkin containing the wacky chicken...unfazed, said he was sorry. That's where it ended. No deduction or offer for free dessert or a manager coming by. Left him very poor tip. Too bad was expecting a great Easter dinner. Doubt I will be coming back:(

Nice atmosphere and that's about it. Overpriced and chain quality food. Sushi rolls were not fresh. Entrees were large but relatively bland. Service was flat. Won't go back.

By far some of the worst Asian food I have ever had. Sorry, but you can get better Asian from the frozen food section of Trader Joe's. Not anywhere close to authentic. If you enjoy this food you have never had anything close to authentic Sushi, Korean, Thai, Mandarin...

I visited this restaurant thanks to Open table while traveling for business. When I travel I try to get to at least one sushi restaurant. The sushi was delicious, everything we ordered was amazing. It is a little noisy, so don't go to just have a romantic dinner, it won't happen here, lol. But if you are looking for a place to have good sushi while visiting Naples AZN is the perfect spot.

This is some awesome Asian fare! Whenever I go to Silver Spot cinema I try to eat at AZN. This is a very different high end menu. Asian tacos are crazy!!

Delightful, contemporary and noisy, AZN is a great spot for meeting friends for drinks and creative Asian food. Among the entrees, the Wanchai Wanut Shrimp is absolute heaven. The shrimp are prepared perfectly, the lemon aioli sauce is wonderfully smooth and creamy while the walnuts add a sweet crunch. The options are broad and include a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The best choice is the Kung Pao tofu or shrimp (ask for the tofu, it really enhances the dish). Not as spicy as regular places, but with enough zest to warm you up. It is a great dish with a beer or cold sake. As for starters, don't pass over the lettuce wraps. They are always delicious and offered in vegetable and meat varieties. The crab cakes are also wonderful. AZN features a full sushi menu as well. The sushi is fresh and expertly made from a wide array of options. I usually choose these as an appetizer. Lest I forget, there is a large bar, a great spot for hanging out with friends. If you are dining, unless it is cold or early, choose outside versus inside. The noise level can be quite an issue if you want to talk to your dining companions. If you are looking for intimacy, pass AZN by.

First time here...it was a Wednesday night - not too crowed but we wanted an out door table so we maybe waited 20 minutes which was fine because we had a drink at the bar. For dinner we ordered the Japanese ceviche which was just wonderful & a large portion but I could have easily ate the whole thing myself! It's a must try! We also had the shrimp dumplings - crispy on the bottom & served with a slightly sweet sauce & we had a few pieces of sushi ...hamachi, maguro & sake...along with a rainbow roll & a nigi hamachi roll ...all were very fresh. Service was good ...very pleasant.

I went here during a business trip, so I'm sad to say I won't be back. But if I had a choice, I'd go here all the time! The food was delicious. They do serve sushi, which I didn't order. I had a bunch of appetizers and asian entrees that I split with my friend. Everyyyyyything was so delicious. Our waiter was very helpful and told us local places to visit. Seating is available indoors and outdoors. Beautiful. A++ food!!!!! I want some right now.

We came here as we wanted something different while vacationing in Naples. The ambience is nice and the staff seems very friendly. This looks like an upscale place from the outside but you can dress casual. My wife and I agreed the food was really good. We split the ceviche which was really done well in my opinion and can be a meal on its on as it can feed 2-4. I expected it to be in a martini glass as thats what im used to but it came in a bowl! Lots of fresh fish and cucumbers with a really good citrus dressing and jsut the right amount of cilantro. I had the chilean sea bass which came with a side of white rice and stir fry veggies. It was really well done flaky and in a sweet miso glaze. It was a big dish still but I managed to finish it. My wife had a spicy noodle soup which reminded her of a korean dish they make here in NY which she said tasted great as well. We were so full we didnt get to have dessert, maybe next time.

Prime location in Naples Mercado district. Loved the restaurant decor, very upscale and trendy. We opted to sit outside on the patio. Service overall was ok, while our waitress took our order, many other servers brought out our apps and dinner so it took her a bit to come back and check up on us. We had a crab rangoon app, I had the pad thai, and my hubby ordered the blue crab california and funky buddha rolls. Our appetizer was delish, my husband enjoyed his sushi, but I wasn't a huge fan of my noodles, I thought they were drowning in the sauce. I'll probably just stick to sushi next time.

My daughter and I had dinner last night at AZN. It was amazing. The Mongolian beef tacos on the appetizer menu were fantastic. My daughter almost always gets the Spring Rolls when we go and she loves them as well. They have a wonderful Chilean Seabass that I order just about every time I go there. We sat on the patio (the weather was gorgeous!). Our server Tara was extremely knowledgable about the menu and her service was great. Never had to ask for a refill on drinks as she was on top of it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ate here for lunch on a business trip. I really liked the place and the curry shrimp I ordered was fantastic. It looks like they have a great selection on the sushi menu as well. I want to go back for dinner the next trip I make to Naples to try more on the menu and rate the sushi.

I agree with other reviewers. If this place weren't in Naples, it would get 3 stars. But because it is awash in mediocrity or worse, AZN does shine. Gorgeous place, good service, nice atmosphere. They did some odd things with the food, but "odd" isn't bad. I thought the salad was overly dressed and way way too vinegary, and as a counterpoint to the crab-cake which took some bold strides with herbs on its own, it was a tad overwhelming. The chinese dishes were tasty, but the noodle dish we had was rather ordinary and departed from the "fusion" theme mightily. The sushi roll was by far and hands down the best I've had in Naples thus far. It's the second $19 sushi roll I've ordered in "good" sushi places, and this one at least made me feel like I got my money's worth (sorry Osetra). I was comped a deep fried cheesecake for dessert because it was my birthday. It was over the top, and a tad overdone. I ordered it with a cup of decaf coffee and (major fail on someone's part) I was up until sunset. Don't think it was decaf. I was joking around alot with our handsome college-aged waiter which he handled gracefully. Fifty-one year old slightly drunk gay guys can be scary to handsome young men, but to his credit he rolled with it pretty well. Just hoping that coffee wasn't some passive aggressive revenge or something. Anyway, I love the variety on the menu, and I would happily go back to explore further.

Lousy service trumps the food. Although the food is always wonderful (ive been coming here since it opened), the service has taken a nosedive the past couple of times I've dined here. Two nights ago, the three moronic and clueless hostesses couldn't figure out what was going on with seating and even canceled my Opentable reservation even though we were seated and having dinner(huh?). Waitress took 15 mins to greet us and then we only saw her twice: to take our order and to give us our check. No water or wine refills, no asking how our food was, no delivery of chopsticks. If you want anything, you need to stand up and get it yourself. Someone at another table broke a full wine glass on the floor and it took many guests walking through it before someone on the staff even noticed! Sometimes even good food doesn't overcome lousy service.

great food, great service, great location. I've eaten there at least 20 times and keep coming back. The menu resembles an album book with so much selection. I've tried at least ten different dishes and have been impressed with everything that I have tried. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had the best experience with AZN this week. I live in Minneapolis, and had a very lovely dinner there a few weeks ago when I was visiting. The food is very good. But that's not my story. The boyfriend is laid up in the hospital in Naples for a few days, feeling very isolated and lonely. There's very little I can do to make him feel better from 2000 miles away. I called Greg (the manager) and Marci (the hostess, I presume), and asked for a special favor. Could I please order my BFs favorite meal (the Rainbow Sashimi salad and the seaweed salad) and have it delivered across town to the hospital (16 miles away)? Not only did they accommodate this special request, but Greg, the manager, went out of his way to drive across town and hand deliver it, to the hospital room, himself. Talk about above and beyond the call of duty. Rarely do you find that kind of customer service these days. I have made a point to heap gratitude and public accolades on establishments that truly understand the meaning of good service. Did they have to do this for me? No, of course not. I would have understood and figured something out. But the fact that they bent over backwards to do this, for a small order, is incredible. I am beyond impressed and grateful. And bonus: It made the patients' day! Exactly what he needed. If you're in the Naples area and looking for a great place, please do check out AZN. Beyond the excellent, above and beyond service, the food is quite delicious. I will for sure be visiting again!

Love this place. AZN beats out P.F. Changs... Even their sushi is excellent! Mt. Fuji roll is my favorite. Service gets a little slow in the summertime, and the hostesses are not friendly, but those are both expected in Naples restaurants!

I have dined here twice and both experiences were great. Besides it great location (in the Mercato with Blu Martini, Bravo, The Pub, Silverspot Cinema, etc), the food and service was excellent. I recommend the Seven Flavor Basil Beef as it was not only flavor-full but it was extremely tender. In addition, the firecracker sushi was good. They have a good cocktail menu and carry beers like Kirin Ichaban (yes, it is brewed in the US, I know but it is still good) and Sapporo (which I found out recently is made in Canada). Anyway, to summarize, this restaurant is fresh, clean and has had great food and great service both times that I have been there. There was not any Naples attitude that you see at some other places, which was also a great +. If you are looking for a good Asian restaurant to try, I suggest you head over to the Mercato and try AZN.

Overrated...a lot of money for good scenery but not so great food. The scallops were sandy, the shrimp was overcooked and flavorless, and the calamari we got for an appetizer was chewy. Maybe the non-seafood dishes would be better, but that's really what we came here for. If you're looking for really, really good Asian-inspired seafood, U.S.S. Nemo on US41 is way better than this place.

A trendy asian fusion place which seems to be having some issues with the presentation and freshness of their sushi. All in all I'd skip this place and go for one of the Sushi-Thai places on 41 as you'll save yourself some money and have a better meal. Unless of course you NEED to be seen walking around at Mercado...

I am a big fan! Love Mercatto and this place. Never have been disappointed in my at least 10 visits. Very accommodating for seating and always ready to please. Outside seating can be a little cramped but the decor and ambiance is great inside. Have tried many different dishes and I leave with a very full tummy! My last visit I invited out the girls and none had been there before. They were also impressed. I have a few favorite spots and this is my top 5 for sure.

Really good atmosphere and food was good. I had the pad thai and it ws one of the best pad thai i had ever tasted! My friend had the the 7 layer dish and that was excellent. Will come back here again......cali rolls were ok....one neg, service was slow.

Ambitious Asian fusion with excellent service and pleasant design. The chef has a creative menu, but not everything works: a "Thai tuna tataki" was too busy, and the tomato and jalapeño overwhelmed the tuna and the multitude of other flavors that were supposed to be in the dish. The sushi was so-so, but that might have been because it was Monday. Still, I liked my chirashi, and the location beneath the Silverspot makes it convenient: it would be a regular spot for me if I lived in SW Florida.

Sigh. All I can review here is the service. We came to AZN because some of the group had a great previous experience here with the box lunches. But, after watching the waitstaff walk by, next to and around us at our table without verbal or visual acknowledgement for 20+ (and no I am not an exaggerator) minutes, we left and went across the street to the Naples Pub... which BTW was AWESOMELY fun and yummy. This must be the reason the Pub is always crowded and AZN isn't.

My wife and I joined some friends here for lunch recently and it was amazing. Being my first time, I deferred to my buddy who's a regular. He recommended the Spicy Anna Noodle Soup and it was incredible. The right amount of everything in it from meat to noodles to heat. My wife ordered one of the obento boxes and there was plenty of food and she raved about it afterwards. The menu is worth looking at if you've never been. There's a little bit of everything Asian here from Chinese to Thai to Japanese to Vietnamese. I first thought that maybe it would be a little schizophrenic but they seem to pull it all off very nicely. The thing I can't vouch for is the sushi which wasn't ordered at our table. The decor was upscale, the service was excellent. This is definitely a place I will return to next time I am in S. Florida. I'll be sure to try the sushi next so I can re-post with five stars.

I ate here for the first time, and you get better sushi at Sushi Thai and better Chinese at PF Changs. The meals were overpriced and under tasted, bland boring food. Service was OK, the only time she kicked it into high gear was when the checks were on the table. I'd spend my hard earned income somewhere else.

This place is one of the few hot spots to hang and people watch on the patio in Mecato because it has a big patio on the round about, where you can sit and watch all the fancy cars and people (if you like) They have great happy hour food and drinks. Good spot to start the night.

Asian cuisine updated & upscaled for today's growing sophisticated diners comes alive inNaples' Mercato district. It's a culinary curiosity for foodies. AZN brings stimulating spiciness of Szechuan, fresh fish markets of Japan & rich aromas of Hong Kong right into your table. As you enter the restaurant you will treat your eyes to the unique & modern art decor with a touch of Naples making dining experience memorable. They have a large sushi bar, that I have to try next time, as for now me & my husband opted for indor, quick dinner as it's almost 10 pm (but the resto is still busy w/ people coming in & out usually couples, young adults & very trendy patrons, this is an ideal place for people watching). We ordered Vietnamese crispy spring rolls presented nicely w/ 2 sweet & spicy sauces. I had the Jumbo Shrimp in Thai basil chili sauce, unexpectedly huge portion of big shrimps, perfectly cooked oozing with good flavors. My husband ordered Gen. Tzu's Chicken Szechuan style. He loved it so much. Service is friendly but not efficient, helpful in terms of suggesting what is best in the menu. Food is great! Ambiance perfect! They just have to work on the service and they're on their way to 5 star. I promised to come back.

Typically like the food here, but food was so so tonight and VERY disappointed in the service. They got our order wrong, and took forever to bring us our food and check. To make amends they told us dessert was on the house, but took so long to bring us the dessert menu that we had to leave to catch our movie and we did not get to try any dessert. Very disappointing.

Bad food, just bad, Kobe sliders too dry, crispy shrimp was soggy and super sweet, need I go on. Very expensive, Chinese food for $5 is better. I ended up returning one dish and got a sushi roll instead, it was fresh and good. Nice ambiance.

The new Mercato Center is fast becoming a magnet. We ate at AZN and thought we should have been more impressed than we were. So we returned several weeks later. Valet parking is right out front if one wants it. The building and decor are dramatically attractive. Great bar area. Nice social scene. The hostess, who must be a teenager, seated another couple ahead of us and then took all of several minutes to come back. A reason could be that she seems never to have walked in high heeled shoes before. She was less than welcoming but we got a table finally and were greeted by what I can only describe as a real waitress. Nice person and responsive to our interest in a fun meal. We grazed our way thru several appetizers with mixed results and finished by sharing a steamed ginger salmon dish which was delicious. The prices are ok by the way. However we left with the same unsatisfied feeling of the earlier time. I think the problem is that AZN is trying to be too many things to too many people. Its menu covers foods of China, Korea, Japan, Thailand and several other countries, and is doing very few of them well. It is sort of like opening a restaurant that specializes in the foods of Italy, France, Germany, Russia and Greece. How can you do any of them as well as a restaurant that specializes in one type of cuisine? I think I'd go back for a drink at the bar but would want to be positioned to enjoy the wobbly walking wonder.

Fun location, great interior, excellent food. We went early and had 2 toddlers in the group. We were worried about how they would behave and didn't stay too long but everything was great! The overdressed hostesses didn't look pleased about the kids in our group but everything else was excellent, especially Duck entree, short rib and shrimp/scallop entree.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
