Been to this place a handful of times, and I have to say, what I love most about it is how the ambiance seems to evolve with the day, with the time, with the people who patronize it. My first time, the people were more interested in conversation and pool, so the music was kept low, and the place seemed to breathe an air of relaxation into an otherwise lifeless evening. The second time, the people were about the live music, about the cheap drinks, about the dancing, about the drunken conversations being yelled over cigarette ash and between bathroom breaks. And it all fits. It all just fits. Will Call is lit but remains dark. Noisy and impersonal but utterly intimate. It keeps to itself while punching you in the gut. It's a fracking oxymoron. (Yes, I JUST finished "Battlestar Galactica." Easily one of the best series ever. If I could, I'd Yelp it, too.) I haven't tried the food, and truth be told, I've been a little too inebriated to notice the nuances that I know are there, the idiosyncrasies hiding amidst the plumes of smoke and broken drunken English exploding into a cacophonous drone into the stale air, so I can't yet give a 5-star assessment, but Will Call is a perfect addition to the after-hours downtown area we all know and love. Don't put off checking out Will Call, and above all, don't walk in with expectations. It -- like life -- works better when you allow yourself to be taken by the uncertainty by which it abides.

Will Call is a great addition to the Downtown area! There is a pretty good vibe going that is a mix of laid back and upbeat, yet still characteristically Miami where you can come in a tight skirt and drink into oblivion. At one end is a pool table and some seating for people seeking the chiller side of Will Call. Opposite this is a stage for live music and a dance floor. In the center is a large circular bar with plenty of seats for people like me who enjoy people watching while sipping a well-mixed libation. Unfortunately, their bartenders, well at least the one who served my party, seemed to be a little out there.. in outer space. I ordered a gin and tonic and that she handled well, but when my friend ordered a gimlet with hendrick's (basically a fucking fancy way of saying gin and tonic with lime), the bartender was thrown for a roller coaster ride and somewhere along the way pulled out a bottle of grape fruit juice mix to concoct what she thought was a gimlet with hendricks. When our other friend ordered a vodka cran, this bartender put the cranberry juice in the glass and then asked again what she wanted it mixed with. Seriously, you can't remember a vodka cranberry? Hopefully the other bartenders are more apt at their craft though. If not, you can always enjoy a beer from their surprisingly well rounded menu of imported/domestic/craft beers. The facility itself is very clean and the bathrooms were really not bad either which is always a nice plus. On a Saturday night (around 1pm) there was a good size crowd but it was not jammed pact and my friends and I were able to get 3 seats at the bar easily. I'd imagine that on game nights this place might get a bit nutso being directly across from AAA, but otherwise I would definitely suggest Will Call to anyone looking for a night out in dt.

Have you ever had one of those nights where you have every intention of keeping it calm and low key and then you walk through the door of your house at 5:30 am and ask WTH just happened over the last 5 hours... and than you piece back people getting bitten, your friend checking ID's at the door for fun, your other friend having females eat out the palm of his hand and having them drop their clothes, and yet your other friend all of 5'3" making a 6'4" dude cower next to me and look like she was going to eat him... no? yes? come on you know this sounds familiar... We left TSL and wanted to continue drinking... and that's just what we did... the bartender was a very attractive Asian girl who was awesome... drinks were strong and they kept coming... someone kept on ordering rounds of shots...it was possibly me... or my friend.. or just me...but no one tried to stop it... 4 shots came out to $36 for Miami that is fantastic! I mean don't get me wrong I remember the whole night in detail... we got there around 2:30 am and it had a steady crowd but as the other places started closing everyone started rolling in... Apparently Will Call has a 24 hour liquor license... Alcoholics and vacationers and 21 year olds scream for joy! and I have heard some pretty interesting stories about what has happened in the past.... Around 5 am it was def pretty packed in there... We knew it was time to go when my one friend was like "Where is my bed" I however wanted to continue since I was on vacation and I wanted to feel like I was in my 20's again... my body would teach me a lesson days later when I made it back to Orlando... I will say Mr. Whitey Bouncer with his tats and tie and vest... yummy! hahaha I don't recall Miami ever having really cute guys when I lived there beautiful women yes, men not so much... but damn I was loving it!

The food is gross...and the place itself is kinda trashy. BUT it is a good spot to grab a few beers after work or watch a game.

I really wanted to like this bar. I had high expectations. First red flag was the $10.00 Jim Beam single shot drink I ordered. Really? $10.00 for a SINGLE shot? 2 and I have bought the bottle? Oh and the shot was measured with a jigger. If I wanted overpriced measured drinks, I would have just bought one inside the Klipsch Amphitheater. The vibe? Poorly thrown together bar conveniently located across the street from AAA. Drink specials? Only from the liquor that doesn't sell or they are trying to get rid of. Now on another price point, Coors Light was $6.00. Justification for 2 stars? Convenience. If this bar was located anywhere else it would be zero stars.

I want to give this place a bad review because I don't want more people coming to my new fav bar! Ive been around the world, for some weird reason some rare bars feel like home and Will Call is one of them. I can even come alone when I want to chill by myself, or even hang out with friends. Great staff, great food, great drinks & great place... They earned this review

It's too bad this place was horrendous, because it's a great location. That's the only good thing about this place. The food was horrible. I asked for a medium well cheeseburger, instead I got a rare cheeseburger - right off the cow practically. The chips they served with the cheeseburger were so incredibly bland and soft - almost stale. Ever hear of a thing called salt, Will Call? We tried the onion rings, which were horribly bland and needed to be fully coated with the sauce they put with it, just to give it some flavor. Same goes for the nuggets and the fried pickles. Terrible. The drinks were worse. I had about 6 drinks throughout the night (2 shots, 2 Will Call Speciality Drinks, 1 mojito (which was the Barcadi mix you buy pre-made - pathetic) and a Rum and Sprite and normally I would've been feeling the effects of these, but I walked out as sober as I arrived. Completely watered down drinks. 100%. When we told our waitress that the Will Call Speciality drinks were watered down, her response was "well, what do you expect for $5." Ha! That explains it! If you don't have any taste buds, it's the perfect place for you.

Watched Heat ECF game on Sat night with the fiance and cuz, and while the place was nice- decor, lighting, sound, TVs, etc., the drinks were watered and iced down! Couldn't taste liquor. The shots were $10 of chilled water. The food was bland. Needed salt, sazon, lemon pepper, garlic, anything. I wanted so bad to like this place because its close and we need a sports bar in the area. The servers are friendly and there's a DJ and live bands. Pools tables, no cover. Almost sounds like a hit. But it's a miss. Oh! I almost forgot the best part... They allow smoking! So you'll leave smelling like lung cancer. Isn't smoking banned in Miami?! Never again... Will Call should be called Last Call...or last option

I wish Will Call was in another location so people can really take notice. It's located under the bridge across from the AAA. It has a sort of dive bar feel but with an upscale feel. The decor is pretty rad, the DJs play pretty awesome music, occasional live music and food is actually phenom! To my surprise one late drunken night I ordered the Chicken n Waffles- BOMB! The rest is history...doesn't help that its walking distance. Must try: Homemade chili, Bacon n Jalapeño Mac n Cheese, Philly cheesesteak... All taste fresh nothing like bar food! Hat off to the Chef/cooks!

This place gave me the same feeling of when you find money on the floor. Score! We crossed over after a Miami Heat game whilst in town and enjoyed every minute of the 30 minutes we spent there. 2 beers later we had to make our way out considering it was a Monday night. Great atmosphere. Dark, modern ambiance. Cool bartenders! TVs everywhere. The bathrooms were really nice too! Great place to cross over to after the American Airlines Arena or just a place to go to in the downtown area. Really good music too. Can't wait to come back.

My husband and I were at Will Call for a charity event. I tend to overlook most incidents that may occur at events for charity as it is for a good cause and usually isn't that big a deal. I could not overlook what happened at Will Call. First of all, the bar isn't what I would call attractive. tinyurl.com/lxtn56g Yes, it's a sports bar, which I normally love, but not to put too fine a point on it, Will Call is a dump. That's the best part, however. Of course, one man's dump is another man's dream so YMMV. Our event was outside, but I wanted to eat in the bar, so in we went. There were a fair amount of people watching football on one of the many screens available, which was a plus. This is not a place to dance but to hang out, watch sports and talk. Talk?!? The music was blaring at such an incredible volume, I had to insert earplugs! I was sure my ears would start to bleed at any moment. I'm talking LOUD, people! It was virtually impossible to talk. It wasn't a very good first impression. I was starving so I was ready to order right away. Needless to say, I couldn't get arrested in that bar. It took a VERY long time to get someone to wait on us. We had to flag a couple of people down and basically beg. (Actually, we would have left but for the charity event.) Finally, a menu! It was a print out on a standard piece of copy paper, and didn't include all the items on their website menu. I was disappointed, but no big deal. Ordering could have gone better what with the screaming, and the very nice young lady who I couldn't quite hear, but we muddled through. I ordered a bar food favorite, Chili Nachos with house made chili, melted cheese, chopped tomato, guacamole, chives sour cream, and jalapeños for $11.00. My husband order a Gator Salad for $14.00, which isn't on their regular menu. Simple enough, no? Uhm...no. Apparently, not. We watched the ballgame and waited. We yelled across the table at one another trying to communicate and we waited. We watched the bar slowly begin to empty and we waited. We played with our iPhones and we waited. We waited, and waited, and waited. Easily over an hour. We asked the perky waitress, when we finally found her, where is our food? She came back with our order and said complaining to the kitchen had done the trick. Nonsense. My nachos were stone cold. There's no telling how long it had set in the window, as apparently, my husband's order, which was hot, dragged the ticket. Ok, whatever. I was eating. My plate of food consisted of multiple colored nacho chips, which were pretty, but they seem to have been confused about the chili. There couldn't have been more than a tablespoon or two of chili on that huge plate of chips. I could barely detect any cheese, a crime against humanity, and the entire dish was improperly seasoned. After snagging the waitress and requesting some salt, I found it didn't help very much and I threw in the towel. We waited some more for the waitress to come up for air, so we could request the check, (I really hate it when that happens) and we waited for her to come back to finish the transaction. Finally, it was over. What a disappointment and I was still hungry! In light of my experience, I can't recommend Will Call for anything except watching sports. While their menu describes what I would call "elevated bar food", the execution of our dishes were so unbelievably bad, I rather doubt any of them are up to snuff, and the service was quite simply atrocious. It is clear that they should stick to what they do best--keeping sports fans well supplied with their favorite beverage. From all accounts, they are quite good at it.

The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars, is because I am a little tight from my last visit. My old lady wanted us to try this place out, and the Knicks were still in the playoffs, so I said why not?! The decor was very nice, especially the backsplash of the bar. Lit up, lots of booze selections...ones that you wouldn't see in other places. Our bartender, Samantha...simply amazing. Cute, girl next door look, and was very attentive. As soon as I was reaching the bottom of my beer, she was cracking open a new one. I went classy...good 'ol PBR for this guy!! The food was pretty good...better than I expected, to be honest with you. I definitely would recommend the fried pickles, the chicken nuggets are AMAZING, and the roast beef/wick was tight work as well. Stay away from the chocolate bacon and the molten chocolate cake. They both tasted pre-made and blah. If I want a molten choco cake, I'll stick with Chili's. Now...the bad. The bartender this time around? TERRIBLE. The funny part, was that she was bitching to the other bartender (who was actually good) about her lack of tips. I'm thinking to myself: "it's cause you suck. It ain't that difficult to pour liquor in a glass, or crack open a beer bottle ma". I had to say something to the manager about it. She was very cool, and took care of the matter ASAP. So, all in all, I'd recommend...

Well... The day I went there were 3 fist fights in the parking lot and terrace. I just felt like back in high school. There was also not a whole lot going on, but I will tell you, I think it's ridiculous that they charge for parking at 2am. If the place is about to close, hello??? I would give the place a shot again, maybe earlier, and on a night when there's live music to see how different it is. I did like that it was dark and had pool tables.

Step inside this old, dive-like shack right across from American Airlines Arena and you'll immediately be transported to a sleek, chic music venue with an unmistakable "cool" factor. Will Call is all leather, brick, and wood with a huge center bar where every swirly stool has an up close and personal view of the music on stage. Bartenders in fishnets and garters serve it up to the show crowd, somehow managing to look cool and tongue-in-cheek instead of skeezy like their outfits would imply. Will Call does acoustics right, too! It's high ceilings are accented with wood, and it walls upholstered in leather and brick, making for zero bounce and echo and a full, crisp, danceable sound. I threw a few back here last night and enjoyed The Heavy Pets, a heavily touring band native to South Florida. My crew and I had a fabulous time dancing around every crevice of this establishment, and we received friendly (sometimes flirty!) service from all the ladies at the main center bar. Speaking of center bars, is this not the best layout imaginable? You have a huge surface area to belly up, making drink grabbing super efficient, plus everyone gets to "hang" at the bar. We did shots, we did beers, we did cocktails, but I don't remember anyone waiting long despite the substantial crowd. Also loved the outdoor deck for a breath of fresh air...well, a breath of some kind of cigarette-coated air anyway. They lose one star for expensive drinks, but I guess it is Miami. Good times at Will Call!

Checked this place out with a good buddy of mine and decided to get an early start by wetting our whistles 3 hours before a Miami Heat game tip-off at the AAA. Needless to say the place was settled in by locals playing pool, table tennis and lounging with the barkeeps. The bar area was not full of patrons yet so it gave us a great opportunity to chat with our bartender (who ended up being very attentive and engaging) and being able to enjoy the surroundings. I had an overall good experience, the prices are comparable to nearby establishments. I haven't tried their food yet, but I can definitely say I am looking forward to coming back for a pre-game and/or nightcap.

Discovering Will Call is like finding a crisp $20 on the street, looking around like a surprised flamingo wondering if this was a trick before picking it up and immersing yourself in your luck. This is not a dive bar, despite it's location and grungy logo outside. It's an extremely classy lounge with a laid back atmosphere, cool staff, and good music. The first time I went, there was a rock band playing hillbilly/"swamp rock" music and everyone was sitting at the bar, nodding their heads and digging the music. Very cool vibe. I did lose my phone here though (which was subsequently turned off and kept by whoever found it) - but hey, it's Miami and we live with Miami people -- no blame on WC. For those who frequent Grand Central or Peach Fuzz, this is a great place to stop by before (or after) for a casual drink. I'm assuming Will Call also captures a good amount of AAA concert goers that know about it. My only gripe is the name. Can't tell you how many times people naturally assume they're associated with concerts at the arena. Looking forward to making this my neighborhood bar.

I used to like to go to this bar to watch the Sunday NFL games until yesterday when my friends and I were charged for 12 shots instead of the actual 6 that we ordered. Yes we were having a good time, but I think we would have noticed ordering double the amount of shots we actually wanted. When my friends brought this up to the bartender Emily and the general manager, ( if you go there brown hair in ponytail, tattoos, rude) they were basically told to get the F*** out of the bar, because the tab was already signed. Yes my friend should have took a closer look at his tab before signing but we were having a good time and he simply made a mistake which we all make when living it up in the moment in a bar you thought was honest. I know people on Miami have a rude mentality sometimes but this was far and beyond horrible customer service. The manager should be fired. Paying 75 dollars for extra shots that you didn't take and getting kicked out because oh gee you happen to protest such a ridiculous charge is insane. Never going back. If you go don't trust the bartenders and beware of an incredibly unprofessional general manager who needs to pick a new profession.

While it is great another spot opened downtown, I wasn't too impressed with all the hype. Service: A+ Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. They were all talking to customers making them feel at home. Which is a breath of fresh air. Food: C+ I had the Will Call burger which was just ok. For $13 I expected the Big Kahuna burger from Pulp Fiction but sadly I was very disappointed. It didn't come with chips or fries. Way over priced for what it was. Atmosphere: B+ Although it wasn't busy but it was a Wed night, had a pretty cool vibe with some people playing pool, & people hanging out Parking in the area is still a bit on the shady side but it is getting better. I would give them another shot

This was part of a dark and divey Miami bar crawl my boyfriend initiated. Lots of people 20 somethings all the way to guys in their mid life crisis and beyond. $10 for a whiskey drink, $7 for Corona, and $6 for PBR. That's Miami! Live band started up and they weren't half bad but made conversation virtually impossible. Pretty attentive barstaff only if you have a seat; otherwise, you're going to have to be really nice to someone in one of those seats so they'll give you room to order. Place gets packed before midnight. If you get in before 10pm your odds of parking right in front of the place are good. Other than that, I'd bet you'd be walking some distance. Not a bad place and you ought to give it a drink or two.

Welcome to downtown! Will Call is exactly what our neighborhood has been lacking. There is a large rectangular bar in the center, loads of flat screen tvs playing all the games, a ping pong table which is free to play and a pool table too. I met both owners last night and they were very friendly. Chatted with them for quite a while and they even bought us a few drinks. This is a music venue as well and the owners are in the process of securing some big name acts. Also, they have a large deck and free parking in back.

Okay so my girlfriend has been bothering me for weeks to come to this place, so finally after eating in Coral Gables we decided to stop in for some drinks. When we got there and I saw the area it was in (right across from the AAA) I honestly was expecting much more then a dive bar, but I was very wrong. We walk in and the place is gorgeous, we went pretty early (around 8) and there wasn't many people there, we sat at the bar and the bartender immediately started making conversation and chatting with us. The bartender (Chandellae) honestly made the night, she got every single drink perfect, chatted with us easily telling us stories of her adventures bartending and kept us laughing. There is a pool table, ping pong table, old school arcade game machine, and a stage for live music. I had a couple drinks that she made up for me when I couldn't decide on a typical drink (oj, vanilla vodka & soda) & (cherry vodka, sprite, & soda) both were delicious which surprised me as usually I'm a liquor on the rocks girl. We ended up staying for close to five hours drinking, playing pool and just hanging out. (It also wasn't very expensive, the bill came out way lower then I expected; but then again I am used to Sobe prices!) We will be back for sure, this place is exactly what that area needed! Oh & I forgot to mention, but the bathrooms really are beautiful as others mentioned, and we all know how important clean pretty bathrooms are :)

Will Call is the perfect place for your Last Call. You know the drill: you've been rocking your socks off at the Pickle all night, but need a semi-quite place to carry on that oh-so-stimulating conversation with the cute club kid you fished from the bar. My recommendation is Will Call. You can test your sobriety at their ping pong and billiards tables, grab a night cap, and slow those beats per minute down to some awesome 80s rocker favs. Will Call has all the perks of a dive bar and the good looks of a lounge. Let's call it the best of both worlds and Downtown's answer to SoBe's Chalk.

Place is nice at times but be careful for the after hours crowd. Prostitutes soliciting themselves, thieves looking to steal your phones. The last time I was there I got my wallet pick pocketed & stolen by a female prostitute trying to dance with me & lure me to leave with her when I told her to get away. She did it so slick I didn't even realize. Sleezy sleezy place.

I've been here a couple of times and it's a solid well designed bar. Drinks aren't too expensive, bartenders are hot, and the bar has nice TV's and good decor. The food is good not great, the best part of the bar is probably the fact that it's in downtown Miami and has free parking around back. Solid bar, i'd go in the future, just wouldn't plan my night for it.

My word of mouth is to avoid Will Call if you're into good food. I visited the establishment this Memorial Day for lunch with my girlfriend and it will be our last time. The food and draft beer was subpar. I order the BBQ 1/4 chicken platter and my girl got the will call burger. The BBQ chicken was undercooked and the $13 dollar burger was served on seame seed bread and tasted like a fast food burger. Once upon a time, as recent as December, I picked this place to celebrate my bday with friends. Today the draft beer was poor tasting so we switched to bottled beer since we figured they can't get that wrong. My tab was $65 + $10 parking. I had to stop at a different restaurant on my way home to fulfill the good-food crave. Too bad these guys wasted a good opportunity to leave a lasting memory on this ex-loyal customer.

DON'T BOTHER! If I could give this place no stars I would. Sky high prices & the worst service in Dade county. If I'm paying $15 for a drink, I expect to get it in the same HOUR that I order it. Then when I bring it to the attention of the incompetent waitress who blames everyone but herself, I expect an apology not a "yea ok" & roll of her eyes! Management cares less. There are so many other places to go nearby after a game or a concert that this place isn't worth wasting your money or having to take out a loan to go there. Drink was a special on the menu & tasted horrible. Atmosphere was bad too. Dirty & people in the place including the band were "rough". Food is all junk food. I guess you can expect Ridiculousness like this when a bar is open 23 hours of the day. Losers only ...

This place is cool. I went there to watch a Heat game with a friend and he managed to get a bartender's number. Well, not exactly her number. She told him to Facebook her. But, that's kinda better if you think about it. I'll probably go back unless something bad happens between them and it makes going there awkward. Oh, and the bouncer had an oxygen tank. And if he wasn't the bouncer, he's just an awesome dude who hangs out.

Went in to watch an away sunday heat game. The service was great. I even liked the way the bartenders/ servers looked. They all looked good but not over the top and fake. There was a good mix of people and the ambience was fun yet relaxing. The food was outstanding. I will definitely venture into this place again soon.

So a few friends went to Will Call to watch the Heat game. We all ordered something different from the menu. Terrible each order. I had the Chicken and Waffles. Waffles came cold and soggy, chicken was fried up nicely but no taste! It was like the cook was trying to save us with not putting salt or seasoning on our food?? If your not a smoker, and don't like cigarette smoke, then you need to stay away from this place, it was one big cloud of smoke, I thought Miami had a no smoking in Bars Law?? Well last but not least...the Drinks!!! Completely watered down and I mean down to the shots we ordered cause our mix drinks where so weak! When we asked our server about how watered down they were, she said what do you expect for five dollar drinks????!!! WTF? Other than that, nice place, it was a nice crowd, servers where pleasant, but that's all I got.

Atmosphere was great! The music was a bit loud but I had one hell of a headache so that was probably me. Super cool selection in music and the live band was great (Friday night btw.) However... Service was atrocious! It was that awkward you-know-the-waitress-is-totally-ignoring-you-and-unwilling-to-make-eye-contact feeling. She gave us menus, disappeared and took a long time to place our orders. I didn't know it took an hour and 45 minutes to cook a grilled cheese... guess I'll never know what it tasted like because I was so damn frustrated i actually CANCELLED my order. I had a bite of my friends chili fries, which actually came out on time, and they were delish. Jalapeno poppers were nasty, it had this weird leftover soap taste that I realized to be old ass oil. Change the oil people, I know my Cuban grandma saves the oil to cook croquetas and tostones is but this aint grandmas house and it certainly isn't Cuba! Perhaps I just got a shitty waitress but I don't think I will be coming here for food any time Soon. The cool vibe gives it 2 stars.

A kind of quirky place, for a quirky place, but since its close to the office, I have gone a few times for lunch and happy hour. The $7 lunch sandwich is EXCELLENT...although they are a little cheap on the chips (although they are good). So are the Sliders, which are really big, and are more like two not so small burgers. It is a bit smokey during lunch, but not during happy hour or later in the evening.. Happy hour has been great...great buffet...cheap drinks..eclectic crowd. A really good option to get the weekend going. Whether at lunch or happy hour the staff is really friendly and engaging. The place reminds you of a small Tobacco Road...

will call miami does not close its doors on weekends. will call serves food. will call has a good selection of spirits. will call also has a decent selection of beers. there is a stage at will call where bands perform on certain evenings. will call also has lunch specials. there is free parking at will call. service is sweet and personal at will call. having said all of these things, its hard to understand why mostly dudes hang out at will call so if youre a lady and youre reading this, head over to will call one of these evenings. its not douchey i promise. since they serve food, i wish there was no smoking allowed but oh well. you cant always get what you want.

Came back to this spot to check out the pacquaio fight. They weren't airing the fight, but thought we'd have a few beers and hangout and anyways. Unfortunately we didn't make it five minutes inside. The cigarette smoke is unbearable. With a big patio and tv outdoors you'd think the smoker's ball could be held out there, but it's not. The inside layout is really cool, it sucks that it's full of cigarette smoke though.

No doubt, will call is a great place for us itb peeps to grab a drink after work since they are open a full two hours after most of us close, (till 7 am). I'm a bit perplexed though because for as busy as this place is, I would think they could attract bartenders who actually know how to do what is implied by their very title....aka attend to the bar. Jiminny cricket! I swear my baby sister has better multi-tasking skills than these girls. I know a three year old that can rock her dolly and sing to it at the same time, and yet somehow I am watching a team of four full grown woman fumble about behind the bar with less dexterity than the 2013 miami marlins. I didn't realize that opening a beer required such intense concentration that searching for the absolute bottle (which seems to be cryptically hidden) at the same time would be a tactical impossibility. But lets be realistic, no one minds a slow bartender as long as she's hot. In fact the level of acceptable suckyness gets higher the hotter the bartender is. To be delicate, there isn't a whole lot of margin for error here. / : anywho...they have really great nachos...... Written by Sarah Porter

The food is really good especially seeing that they're open till 11 am! Can't go wrong! Awesome drinks. Fun vibe. Cool venue for local shows and the music is always on point! The staff is really chill and laid back. Must have the chocolate bacon. Only problem I saw was this crazy white guy refilling the ice. He's quite intense and He was sweating profusely and I'm pretty sure it fell into the ice... Gross.

Will call was miami's $taple. Now the city is done. This bar closing is the end if a legendary town.

Terrible service, ran out of draft beer and after Happy Hour the prices SHOT up. French (?) bar server was rude. To top it all off, there were gunshots outside and the police came... Do yourself a favor and give this place a huge swerve.

Nothing special. The food menu is very basic, and when I decided to bypass the standard nachos, burger and hotdog I went for the fried shrimp platter for $18 and was highly disappointed. The breading was crunchy, the coleslaw was non existent and the tater tots were even bad. How do you mess up tater tots?!?! I had one of their specialty cocktails, Mr. Feelgood and it simply tasted like Crown Apple, which I like, but I should've paid a few dollars less and just ordered Crown Apple on ice. The ambiance was kinda neat, it felt more like a Hard Rock Cafe House of Blues which is cool - but that doesn't make much sense for the sports bar themed menu they had. All in all, it just doesn't seem like this place was able to pull everything together and decide on what they want to be. On top of that it was empty inside when we first arrived, but somehow their bathrooms were filthy. No plans to return.

Went to a show there and as a venue it's pretty great because it's so intimate. Liked the acts and the host did a good job keeping the show on time. Even with a Heat game parking wasn't too bad (we did get to capitalize on the fact that the game was ending when we got there). Fun fact- the wings were dynamite. We sat in an area with booths and small tables which was fun since we were a large group. Only wish there was an actual server- we had to go to the bar to order everything. And hey it's basically 2015- can they join the no-smoking trend. Uhhgg

Pretty cool down town dive bar in a sketchy part of town but once inside you are in good hands.

Terrible service. We ordered whiskey shots and it took forever to get it. The bartender had put the ice in the cups and after a long time and we were ready to leave have us watered down whiskey.

My boyfriend and I used to absolutely love this place. We came this evening for a quick bite before the heat game. We LOVED the Philly cheesesteak, however when it was delivered it was gross. We were so disappointed. They changed the bread to a hotdog bun (I mean, really?) and it just got worse and worse with every bite. Not to mention they swapped the kettle chips that came with it out for fries. I was drinking bud lite and when I asked for my second beer I was told the draft wasn't working. So I asked for any other lite beer for the same special, and was told by my server that she couldn't do that. So I asked to speak with a manager, and one never came. She brought us the check without us asking for it, while I was still awaiting another beer and the manager. We then found out she charged our bill to the table behind us, and even though they had already left, she still charged us. Thus, getting paid double for our meal. Needless to say, we will never be going back. And it's a shame because we loved this place.

Went to see friends in a band and checked website ahead of time. Bar presents a nice sounding menu but the two dishes my husband and I had were awful. My humus was thin with crunchy things in it and it looked like vomit. My husband ordered Philly cheese steak which was rubber like, chewy meat with what seemed to be canned cheddar cheese on an old hotdog bun. Worst we've ever had. The ladies restroom was disgusting. 3 stalls,2 with light, 2 with dry poop in bowl, all with old yucky seats. Liquor was bit pricey.

Rotating music so everyone feels comfterable is cool, pricey drinks are fine because it does stay open all night and that's normal. What I did not like was how rude and mean the security are at this place. They just really stare down people at the place all night like fighting style. I went to the bathroom and a security followed me inside I felt very uncomfterable and went inside the stall. Then I noticed he was peeking inside the hole of the stall "disgusting"! Horrible, I used to like this place, but I can safely say, I will never be back!

Been going to Will call for almost 1 year now. The owner Bob Moony is one of the coolest guys around. Food is great and entertainment is very diverse. Unfortunately this place will cost in 2015 to make way for another condo in Miami. Soon end call for well call. Let's visit this icon before it's no more

NPS = 9 Any place that has free food for Happy Hour on Fridays is good in my book! And not just any food. They had clams, oysters, brisket, shrimp...pretty good stuff. The drinks will run you about $5 a pop during happy hour, but hell you're getting free food. The people here are also very nice and attentive. Happy hour on Fridays runs from 4pm-7pm, and the food comes out at about 5pm-5:30pm. Nice crowd here on Fridays and its right across from the arena. They also play some really good music (I'm talking music circa 1990's-early 2000's). I recommend coming here after work with friends, meeting some new people, and enjoying yourself the good food and good beer.

Love this place. Love the live entertainment and the drinks. Sink the Pink is deliciously spicy and sweet. Ginger beer with a beautiful thin slice of watermelon makes this drink my fave! 1 star lost because even if you're yelling into the ear of the person youre with, its still difficult to communicate. It needs to be a tad lower.

Sort of torn on this one. Positives: -Parking lot right next to it! -Good variety of beers -Creative cocktails -Reasonable cover charge for live music -Clean, with an interesting and 'non-Miami" atmosphere -Nice outdoor patio Negatives: -Drinks and beers are expensive -Not enough staff during prime time- had to wait a really long time for a drink Positives outweigh the negatives

It pretends to be a dive bar but has South Beach prices. I actually stopped in to save money on a couple of drinks before a Heat game and was surprised to pay $13 for a Black on the rocks. There's nothing particularly charming about the place. Just disappointment.

I so wanted to be a big fan. This was my third visit first couple of times it was a nice chill spot, very new back then, good service, spot to hang. Now my opinion has changed a bit. We walked over last night. we sat outside on the patio which is very nice especially on a lovely evening. Two big TVs behind the outside bar where we snagged two seats right in front of one of them which made us very happy to watch the HEAT game. This location is awesome, the inside has a pool table and they have live bands as well. When we first arrived we sat at a table ran into a friend and we watched the two of them finally get served a drink. We waited, and waited and waited, nothing. One server was taking care of most of the tables outside. OK, hello there is a game about to start, you have a guy grilling on the patio and um NO help. Our friends finally rushed off to the game and had to cancel their food order. Since we could not get any help we moved to the bar, better seats anyhow to watch the game. The two bartenders were friendly. Finally yes we got some drinks. We order some chili nachos and I swear it took 90 minutes for them to come out. After we asked the bartender she said "Oh yeah the kitchen is tied up, very busy with the game". Luckily, we were so interested in watching our beloved heat we were non chalant about it. She brought over some chips for us to munch on then about 30 minutes later our nachos came out. And they were edible but nothing to brag about. Hours later hubs ordered an Italian Sausage from the bartender. The guy on the grill was awesome but you had to order through a server. So we place the order, and at this point it was comical. He was barely cooking because not many people were ordering grill items and here we go waiting and waiting, and waiting... Oh about one hour goes by and bartender brings out comp spinach dip to say sorry something went wrong. OK, were like whatever at this point. Then about 30 minutes later they bring over a hot dog, yes a hot dog. LOL We ordered an Italian Sausage and got a hot dog. A very good hot dog mind you for $9 it should be. We ate it never complained. The bartender did not even realize it. The guy on the grill came over and said next time order the Italian Sausage it's very good. OMG, ha ha ha I said we did order it and got a hot dog, he felt so bad and said the bartender told him the wrong thing. Really really want to love this place, we had a great time and their lovely bartenders were friendly but man this place seriously needs to get more help. Please get more help I would love to visit much more often, Cheers!

Not bad. Not bad at all. The place is a little bit grungy with a tinge of class. I came here last night with a few friends, and it seems like the ideal bar to hang out after a night at the American Airlines Arena. They have an outdoor patio at the back, and you can even bring your dog, so he doesn't have to be home alone while you are partying the night away. The drinks here are also quite pricy, and I spent $9 for a glass of wine. Want to dance? They have a dance floor by the stage. Want to not dance? They have pool tables. The people here are quite friendly--not your bougy--type of place.

Been here several time over the last 6 months because its a few blocks from where I live. The food is mostly good, that is the only reason I kept coming back because the service is consistently bad. I will just talk about my last visit to keep it short. Sat at the inside bar for over 15 minutes (4 songs played) waiting for a bartender to look at me so I could just get a menu. It was not very crowded but the female bartender kept walking up and down the bar and never looked up at any customers and then disappeared. Male bartender was actually helping people on the other side of the bar but I finally got his attention at about 20 minutes or more. He gave me menu, came back quickly to see if I was ready, put in my order. Ordered a Will Call Burger but it didn't have bacon or onions on it as the menu described. 40 minutes to get something I didn't order. I left to find a place to eat. This is the normal service unless you sit outside during the day. I said I would not go back the last time it happened. I really won't be back now. It could be a good spot but the service is just too bad.

Cool, very chill spot, perfect for grabbing a drink and enjoying the vibe. Now, if the DJ remembers this isn't Space and hence doesn't require the eardrum splitting decibels for music, it wIll earn its 5 stars. The drinks are made perfectly with a big selection of alcohol and the bar staff is friendly and helpful, which is a rare trait in Miami.

  • Kim V.

Only three beers on tap: Guiness, bud light and shock top. Charged for water, would not give free water (which I'm pretty sure isn't legal) and asked to hold an ID to start a tab. But the bartender was sweet and helpful.

Wandered over here to meet up with friends after Billy Joel last weekend. Place was packed, staff was overloaded and the band was loud, so if you're into all of that, this is your place. I'm getting old and don't need my ears to bleed to have a good time. Drink was good but I couldn't stay long!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Directly across the street from the American Airlines Arena I stopped in for a beer before the game. Ran into a couple of buddies who were there too - great minds think alike! I had a beer and the wife had a glass of wine. "Reasonably priced" for the location. I heard some people talking about the food, and that it was good - maybe next time I'll grab a bite. They have pool tables and a cool mix of old and new music playing. This is a great spot for BEFORE or AFTER a Heat Game, or a night out in downtown.

If you are really into music Old School Hip Hop and R&B this is the place to go on Sunday. Tried this place for the first time last night and we had a good time. Theres no fuss of dressing up, you can come as you are to just chill and vibe to good music. We danced the night away and sang along to all thr songs. But as good as the music was they missed the mark on their drinks and bartenders service. Over priced and taste HORRIBLE!!! And the bartenders were rude and wouldn't fix their drinks even if you paid them. I tried their signature drink some Strawberry Delight or some fancy name for puree strawberries and liquor. And it was awful. Tried something else and that was even worse. So I gave upon venturing and just went with a plain old Amaretto Sour (thinking this drink was impossible to mess up) but of course they did. It was HORRIBLE don't even thonk they put a splash of amaretto it was more like a cup of sour with ice. But I would go back for the music alone not drinks...

With a bar (and kitchen) open till 5:00 AM (!) what's not to like? The drawback is a weird bathroom setup where you wash your hands (after the fact - hopefully) in a trough like zone near the kitchen and being subjected to the ouevre of the current DJ (we had one who was zoned into "eclectic trash" is how I'll best describe his racket) but all of whatever is offputting is more than made up for by a dedicated bar staff (pretty young thangs) who serve up beers, beverages and good bar food with smiles and efficiency. For a late night dive - it really delivers. My deep fried pickles were deadly but delicious (searing off a first level of epidermis with the first reach but so worth it) and my sliders were scrumptious (served with a great riff on home made potatoe chips - crisp and salty and perfect for the beers).

Will y'all call me next time you need someplace sinful to hangout downtown??!!! I'll guide you to this hugely obviously much needed sports bar come dive bar come rock bar downtown. 24 hour bar with quite delicious bar food (Burn your fingers hot pickles on my visit). Talking to fellow Yelpers and co-workers this place has many facets which appeals to people across the board. From lunchtime to breakfast time it seems to just have found its niche here in Miami. Kudos to Will Call. Don't follow the signs for the self parking, go south to the block beyond the bar a little and around to the right and then to the right again to their parking lot (free most of the week...unheard of in Downtown) Great bartenders on top of taking care of everyone. Ain't fancy, but appeals to my inner dive bar babe. I'd be as happy here having lunch with co-workers and then later on getting my freak on with some obscure rock band. Ain't Miami grand?

I love this bar. It's an interesting spot. It's kind of grungy with its non-smiley bartenders dressed in hardly any clothing, but then it's beautifully classy with it's full, heavy, dark wooded bar that takes up almost the ENTIRE square footage of the space. It's a great spot to go and grab a couple of drinks before or after a Heat game since it is in walking distance from the American Airlines Arena. Well known, and not so well known, artists frequent this venue to play live shows. The food isn't half bad either - personal favorites are the gator bites and chicken wings. I don't care if it's 4 a.m. and I've had a long night and I should go put myself to bed... I'm getting the wings.

You know those expectations you have? Set them a little lower. Now, a little lower. Feel like you have none? Good. Now go to Will Call and enjoy. The less you expect, the more you'll be surprised. Their food is average. Drinks are good, but I stick to Jack & Coke or Crown & Coke so I can't speak for their cocktails. Service teeters between below average and average. You'll get better service at the bar than at a table so give that a shot. The music... dear Lord, the music. Some times one of the girls will hook up her iPhone to the system and just let it play (most likely it's a weekday thing). On nights that they have a DJ, expect to hear Metallica one minute and then some 90's teeny bopper song the next. Check please! They don't have specials during HEAT Playoffs and their prices have gone up. When they do have specials though, it's reasonably priced. There's a stage for performers and some space for you to dance. There's also outdoor seating but I haven't checked that out yet. I'll go back, just not on a playoff game night. Regular season game night, definitely.

Not only is this place perfectly located next to the AAA arena, perfect for before or after Hear games, but the atmosphere and food are on point. Great music and vibe, food is off the charts at reasonable prices, great drink specials and outstanding hospitality. Really can't go wrong here with the food/service/location combo.

Came for the ping pong, came back for the sliders. Me and my dad play ping pong. Let me rephrase that, I play ping pong, my dad destroys me at ping pong. Just ask the lovely staff of Will Call Miami. I went on an adventure to find a ping pong table and found this place. I went back for a friends birthday and had a bunch of healthy sized drinks, delicious sliders (pastrami is out of hand) and a good time with some live music. If you're in the area, it's a top choice.

Will Call is a far stretch from what it used to be - but I will always have a soft spot for this place .. it's where my boyfriend and I first met, it was my first go - to bar in miami, and it's always had a welcoming feeling. About two years ago, Will Call was THE place to be. Always packed, pumping great music, strong drinks, and familiar faces. I know the management has changed, not particularly for better or worse - but with that change, the vibe and essence dissipated. Don't get me wrong, I still frequent will call for a few drinks once in a blue moon, but the crowd is a new one, the staff (from waitresses/bartenders, cooks, managers, dj's, and even security are all different now. The only people I recognize is the owner, the parking lot guys, and bathroom attendant. By no means am I saying will call is worse now, it's just no longer the place that captivated me upon first moving to this city. I feel like they are going in a different direction - more local talent (Karaoke on Mondays) and small time artists, whereas before it was different DJ's (Thursdays was edm, tuesdays was oldies, etc) for each night of the week, and a pattern that had people scheduling Will Call into their weekly routine. Drink specials are still good here - but the food quality and taste has gone down in my opinion. Word around town is Will Call will be closing soon - I'd hate to see it go, but let's see what happens.

I've been here a couple of times and have not been impressed at all. Food is pretty good. The vibe is alright. It can change on any night. First time I went there soo many bikers it could pass for a biker bar, but went a week later and it was all that typical Miami vibe. Sometimes they've got a live band playing so that's cool. My problem with it are the prices. For what's supposed to be a dive bar, they charge top price for drinks. Beer included. I understand they have to compete with the local hot spots, but it's very disappointing. Service isn't that great either. Got some real rude people working there. It can bring around some real douchey people getting ready to go to a club or some other spots.

Waiting for a Heat game to start, this place offered the perfect happy hour drinks. I would never really come here for anything else. A nicer, rock and roller, sportyish bar. I can't really nail a description here which is kind of a good thing. The food is pretty decent (typical sports bar munchies) but not your reason for coming, the service is decent and the crowd is not annoying. Very convenient location and not too touristy considering you are across the street from Bayside. Plus there's a Metro stop right above. A casual spot to catch up with friends and play pool. A-OK in my book.

"Ummmmm you can smoke in this bar!" That was my reaction the night we visited Will Call. I mean I don't remember the last time you could smoke in a Chicago bar, so we took advantage! Flirted with the cute bartender, drank, smoked and drank some more. Sounds like a usual girls night out. Not to mention the delicious cheeseburger that we shared. WOWWW! I never expected this place to have delicious food. Oh and they ALSO had Blue Moon. Does anyone know how hard it is to find craft beer in Miami?!? Very hard. It's all fruity drinks. Not that Blue Moon is the craftiest of them all, but I'll take that over any light beer any day. They had some arcade games, a pool table and a FULL bar. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, not uptight at all. Next time I'm in the 305, I'm def hitting this place up.

I am indeed a fan! Afterwork happy hour, after dinner drinks, Heat games, and on one occasion a late night should have been in bed hours ago visit. I've been to this place numerous times and am always satisfied. Whether there are 10 people in the joint or 50 people it's always a great vibe. Great music especially recently they seem to have a new DJ on Monday nights. There are lots of TV's and a projection screen where they showed the games. Nice beer selection. No Blue Moon, but I won't let it affect my stars :) The only food we've actually ordered was calamari. I'm a little picky and requested no tentacles, only the rings and my request was fulfilled making me a happy calamari eating broad :) I did however pick from the complimentary buffet placed out for sure on Friday afternoons happy hour until 7pm. Not sure of the time and days of this happy hr but it's perfect for a after work drink being 50% off and snack before the evening. Oh, a parking lot! Always a plus. Matter of fact.. I just may swing by tonight!

Oh Will Call. I want to love you, I really do. I will keep trying. Let's start with the main event, food. Great food selection. They just starting offering a lunch menu which is competitively priced and offers some of their best performing (based on my personal experience) items, including....drum roll...their pickled wings! Outside from that, they have an amazing happy hour (I believe everyday) with not just drinks but food and my favorite part, it goes till 8! Great for the working class who can't get anywhere till 6:30 at the earliest. Now, for the other side. The service. Sometimes I get the nicest waitress and best service around. Most of the time, I don't. I don't know if it's because I go in large groups or what, but it's difficult to come across consistency. Also seems that there is high turn over. Overall, I recommend Will Call. Great food, great pricing, they cover your parking (huge plus in this area). Be nice to the wait staff and hope they are nice to you in return.

My husband is a manager of a restaurant and I am a bartender at another restaurant. We stopped in here after work for a few cocktails and a bite of food. We had a few vodkas on the rocks with a can of redbull on the side. I had a chicken wrap and he had 6 wings... My bill was $216.68 with a $43.34 automatic gratuity of 20%. Called Will Call and spoke to someone that was unapologetic about my bill which explained to me that when a bill is over $200 they take it upon themselves to add 20% gratuity. That is when I realized that the bartender put 15 vodkas on my check. Obviously to raise my check to $200. I am beyond words and really feel robbed. Caution to anyone that visits this bar!

This place is probably great before a game. Come in on an off night and it seems like the bartenders don't want to be there. One curly headed bartender had a serious attitude problem! The food was ok,beers were cold, the help was border line. Update: went in after work another night, Naza was very attentive, and the food was better.... Must have caught them on a bad night the first time

If you want a great spot to watch the game, have moderately priced drinks and yummy bar food..then come here! Parking can be a bit tricky especially during game nights...but don't get sucked into paying $30 at the lots...instead there's always street parking, you might have to walk a block or two...but is worth it. The bar staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is totally laid back. This bar offers live music on certain nights of the week. Great addition to Downtown!

I dropped in to Will Call Miami after an event at the American Airlines Arena. It has the neighborhood bar feel with a pool table and table tennis table. It is spacious with plenty of seating. I arrived late to a table of Bros, and the manager noticed I was sitting there without a drink. She started a conversation with me and had the server come over so I can order a drink. After that, I was good. That's a great experience! It's right next to the Miami Metro Mover Park West Station. There is nearby parking meters. Several weeks later, before an event at the AAA, I returned to checkout their Food. We started with an Artichoke Cheese Dip and Chocolate Bacon (just okay). I had a Cheese Steak (tender pieces of meat on a Soft Hoagie Roll with a side of Chips). The cheese was melted into the meat. Someone else had the Sliders (wasn't hot, but the Steak was tender). As far a the service, this is a local bar so don't expect too much. I had to ask for the chips that went with my Cheese Steak. The server delivered my hot Cheese Steak with an empty white bowl. It's dark inside, so she must have not seen the empty very clean white bowl. She had never heard of Provolone Cheese before so I ordered Swiss Cheese. They have a full lineup of draft beers. I had a Red Hook and a Purple Haze (very good). An hour before the event start time, this bar was packed with those attending the event.

Will Call is a nice dive bar and the best bar to go to before and after a Heat's game. It is located right in front of the stadium so you can stumble in and out of the stadium easily. The bar is also a great place to watch sports since they have large screens in every directions. The food is something they could work on. Most people come and stay at a bar for at least 2 to 3 hours if watching a game. If the food is not great, they will go elsewhere. The beers and shots were hard to mess up! The service was pretty good and the waitresses were nice and friendly. At the end of the night when we got our bill for the 5 of us, it was around $650! That was definitely not nice! Be careful on the prices here! Otherwise, we had a great time for $650.

Definitely a good spot and it's no secret that the location plays a part. If you're watching the heat playoffs (at least while Lebron is here) and you want to be as close as possible to the action without paying the ridiculous price of a ticket... come here! Are you kidding me? $200 for a ticket is like 3 rounds of drinks here. It's a no brainer. P.S. They have free parking, and if you come early enough for the heat games, don't worry about the dudes charging for parking, say you're there for Will Call and they tell you where the free parking is. You're Welcome.

We came here kind of early and there were only like 5 people in the entire bar but we enjoyed ourselves. The bartender wasn't overly friendly by any means but the drinks were tasty as I had my usual vodka cran and was surprised at the taste of real cranberry juice, mmm! What a change from the watered down flavored cranberry CRAP that usual bars put into my drink. The bar decor was nice for just a regular bar. It had an "indie rock" feel and they were playing rock music, not too loud but not quiet by any means. It was pretty modern decor and for the area that the bar was in, I was extremely surprised. It's located literally in front of the area and like two streets back. Standing outside of the bar and looking straight ahead, one would have a perfect center view of the arena. We will definitely come back and check this place out later at night when I presume it gets busier.

Consistency is an issue at Will Call. I can admit that. I've been lucky enough to have good experiences when I've been there but I fully recognize that others whose opinions I respect have not and I understand that it's entirely possible to have wildly divergent experiences from visit to visit. Such qualities are not the signs of a viable business model. Fix this. Properly train staff. Follow through on promises. Expect and demand better of yourself. It will make a difference in the experience of your patrons and, as such, you'll have more patrons. The Heat won't always be a winning team. You will need a draw other than proximity to the Triple A. That said, when Will Call is on, it's on. First off, sit at the bar. This isn't a fancy place. You come here to listen to music and/or watch sports. Leave the tables and fancy napkins for Brickell. Belly up to the bar and keep it moving. The food is bar food befitting of a cool music venue. What does that even mean? It means a $5 plate of onion rings (with a decent amount of rings). It means big burgers and sandwiches. It means... salads? Yes, salad. I came here and got a salad. Get the laughter out of your system. I'll wait. You have to understand. I came here on a Tuesday following a food bender. I needed to eat 'clean' so I ordered a salad... a southern fried chicken cobb salad (baby steps). It was really enjoyable. I mean, what's not enjoyable about fried chicken, avocado, egg, tomato, bacon, blue cheese, and red onion? And, dressing. Because, obviously, this salad needed dressing. While I was slathering my salad with toppings, it dawned on me that i wasn't enjoying the other good reason to visit Will Call: the booze. As I first sat at the bar, I enjoyed a cold Maduro Brown Ale, but after I ordered a salad and onion rings, I figured the jig was up and I fell into the waiting arms of a Hemingway daiquiri. I figured any girlyness of the daiquiri order was offset by Hemingway -- because it doesn't get manlier than Hemingway. The man punched bears. After one of these bad boys, I felt like punching a bear. I felt manly and in control as I ate my fried chicken and avocado with vegetables. I kept the good times coming with a sazerac. My expert cocktails came courtesy of Lauren. She was chatty, personable, attentive, and quite knowledgeable about spirits (and beer). I felt full, warm, feeling good, and entirely happy with my time (and money) spent. I'd love to read more people having this sort of experience.

Stopped in after an Elite Event because the babes wanted to check out the first live performance here. The great thing about Will Call is that, although it is by no means a dive bar, it doesn't exude that bourgeois vibe that typically makes me run for the nearest exit. The bathrooms are immaculate and aethetically pleasing. A large mirror is surrounded by red roses enclosed in a glass(or plastic - can't recall) casing. They have a small VIP room with sliding glass doors with curtains that close for privacy. It also boasts its own ventilation system. *cough cough* They have a great stage setup for live music and a large bar with seating off to the side of the stage. They also have a pool table on the other end of the bar, away from the stage. The Chef brought us some signature sauces to try out with some french fries. I honestly can't remember what they were called but they were most certainly tasty! I foresee that this place will very soon become a Downtown Hot Spot. It's sure to become one of my favorite places to hang out whenever I'm downtown!

Ehh..Its more like 2.5 stars. I dont have much to say about this place. We only stopped here because we were killing time before a Miami Heat game. It is what you'd expect a sports bar to be, greasy, a bit dirty, smells like smoke, and the crowd is not the best. However, if like us, you need to kill some time, Its an OK place to stop by for a beer.

Been to WC a few times and even though upon going in for the first time, I thought I'd love it, that just hasn't ended up the case. It's unfortunate. I like the proximity to the AAA. Haven't been on a game night but I imagine the spillover would make it a funhouse. I've either heard or read that parking is free in the lot but when I went during a non-sports event, there was a man who walked up to my car to tell me that parking was "5 dollars.....6". O_o I had wings last time I went and though they were expensive at $12, the flavor on those wings took the hurt out of the cost! Sooo good, crispy & just salty enough. Delish! The sliders had a good flavor but that horseradish sauce has got to go. There is too much of it & that overpowers the flavor of everything. Every drink I've had at WC has been absolutely weak. I don't drink anything straight-up but that's probably the only way to get a buzz here if you're drinking liquor. The bartenders lean toward stingy pours & w/ a few premium prices on the menu, well.... That just ain't right! It's a BAR for goodness sakes. If you do anything right, it should be the drinks! The women's bathroom is a work of art & I like WC's idea of communal sinks. It could be a way to meet people or at least know their sanitary habits. Smoking is allowed inside the bar. I hate that. I hate swallowing smoke as I drink or eat or try to breathe. I hate getting in my car smelling like smoke. I hate my clothes being all smoky. I hate that smoking is allowed inside WC. I may give it one more go during an at-home Heat game. May. But its probably not likely.

Terrible. I went there for lunch and will never go back. They say they have a $7 lunch special, but what that means is that you can either get sliders, a chili dog, or a southern fried chicken salad (but without the fried chicken) for $7. That's it. The service was awful. We were the only people there, yet it took 20 minutes to bring our drinks and at least 45 minutes to bring our food. When the food came, the orders were all wrong. And the waitress acted like we were a bother when we brought it to her attention. To the extent the orders were correct, they were not good. The $11 grilled cheese is made with two slices of Kraft American cheese product. The salad contained the base of a head of iceberg lettuce. Gross. Maybe it's a good place to go for beers, but I wouldn't recommend eating there.

I have only been before Heat games and not for long, so for all I know, this place is kickin' many times. From what I have seen, the vibe is all right. Drinks, for what you get, WAY overpriced. Stick to beer here. Service? My four year old could multitask better. Food is good, but as much as I HATE Bongo's and its tackiness, I would rather pay for a drink there. Better value. (Just hate that tacky tourist vibe.)

A great spot to catch any sporting event, surprisingly good food (mac and cheese!), and always an interesting and friendly crowd. Will Call boasts a terrific selection of beers as well as great music performances and DJ sets. Best of all they are open after hours, for those of us who are still hanging around into the morning but are not in the mood to be in space or mekka.

Music is way too loud. Is this a bar or a club?

Okay, so if you are having a late night, maybe stop by. I am not too sure about this place. Went once, had one drink, had to wait a while. I am not sure, if I had to wait to be attended because I was dressed like a punk rock kid, or because its the facts of life. In any event, came here, had one drink, then went back to the Corner and finished my night there.

Good place to check out after the clubs close in downtown. Closes really late, there is a small dance floor and the bar is nice as it is in the center with TV's all around.

This is awesome, clean and good ole rock and roll style of fun rock music and real bar atmosphere. Will Call is the newest upcoming bars in a o so sketchy area. LOL. The drinks were good, the staff is awesome, theres also a large stage, ping pong table and a pool table. I think this is my new late night bar, ladies just make sure you dont go alone at night. This area is kind sketchy hahaha. Overall, I cant wait to come back and totally loving the biker rock n roll decor'!

Went there to watch the last game of the finals of the Heat and OKC and the damn televisions did not work. They kept going on and off. My wife got there early around 8pm and told me they were having problems with the tvs. Game time was at 9pm and they still didn't work. You would think that being across from the AAA and knowing it was going to be the biggest night to watch a heat game that they would have this up and running. Also the credit card machines went down. Not good at all

First time and last time I will ever go here. When I called earlier in the day, I was told the band will start at 11:30p. They hadn't even shown up at 12:15a (I hate when places lie to me about the schedule of events), EVERYONE was smoking cigarettes inside and it was smokey as a mother - completely unbreathable, the waitress pulled a fast one on me and took out a tip even though there was no auto gratuity (causing me to double tip), and the DJ was playing strip club music. This will never make it as a live music venue.

Another neighborhood bar for me and a dud. The beer prices are nice and I like the interior. Seems like they have 24 hour license which may be clutch in the future. Bartending service, even when the place is not busy, is downright slow every time I walk in there. I usually get quick service when a place is dead - I think it has to do with the finding good help around here (but the daytime manager on duty blew us off the same when when I walked in - seems like the nighttime manager is way cool, however). Food is excellent - try the starters, like the nachos. This place has only been open for a couple of months, but seems to have no musical game plan. There is a stage and a dancefloor there collecting dust. They have some biker night which is a little odd, I think. The security guy, Henry, is the man. This area downtown runs on house. We'll see how long they last if they are hostile to indie dance, nu disco or other forms of house music, or even local rock bands (or alienate locals). There is no substitute for live music when you want to draw the heads.
