Yes, premium loose tea are expensive- but so yummy! That's why I try to avoid the Aventura Mall, I always end up splurging on these... My fave blend(yes, all together): Rooibos Tropica + MateVana + Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls(hand rolled). Let me know when you try it, it's heaven!

It's nice to have a shop dedicated to tea it's just unfortunate that they sell such low quality at such high prices. What you would expect from a mall shop/

They have a good selection of tea to choose from and very delicious as well, but they're pretty expensive (in my opinion). I do, however, love the fact that there are different brewed teas around the store that you can sample. I've only been here once, but I think it's the same with all the Teavanas that I've been to. They tend to be a little pushy when it comes to buying things. I understand that they're there to sell, but it's happened to me a few times. It does get a little annoying.

Every time I go to Aventura Mall, I have to stop into Teavana. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. They carry a variety of teas, tea cups, tea pots, books about tea, and a variety of tea accessories. Definitely for the tea connoisseur. The sales associates are always very helpful and knowledgeable. If you don't drink tea often or if you want to try a new flavor, you can get a single serving made for you in a to go cup. Try the tea of the month club, a little pricey but a great way to introduce yourself to a variety of different types of teas.

Hi. My name is Shannon and I'm a Tea-aholic. My choice drink is a lil' something by the name of Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls. Doesn't it sound heavenly? Kind of like the name of the place where I can score some. I'll take it hot or cold it doesn't matter as long as I get a taste. Teavana also carries some beautiful pieces for me to cook up my stuff. If you are interested in attaining Nirvana and enjoy tea; check this spot out.

Best tea in miami! Pricey but you get what you pay for. I like to try new blends iced, made right in the store. Nice splurge once in a while as an alternative to my regular drink at Starbucks.

I usually go to Aventura Mall location after work 8-9pm and they have run out of tea samples by that time & they only have 4 flavors. The store is tiny and cramped but the location (close to the food court) is probably why they may never choose to move to a bigger store. The scent of the teas is intoxicating and I love the tea bar where I can sample a cup without having to commit to buying a tea I may or may not like. The employees are helpful, younger crowd high school/college age and seem pretty friendly. My only gripe is the size of the store and how uncomfortable it is to shop. I'm never claustrophobic, but in that store I like to leave ASAP so I feel like I can breathe. With the amount of activity/traffic in that store I feel like herded cattle If you really want an awesome Teavana store experience I strongly urge to try the Sawgrass Mall location. The sales people are friendly and it's a calm, more serene environment and there like 8-10 samples to try at all times. That is what every Teavana store should be like. The tea is awesome and that's why I deal with this location because its so convenient, it is pricey but its quality you can taste! I check out their online specials/email specials as well. I'm hooked to Teavana, you will fall in love with it after your first cup.

I love Teavana and go every once in a while when I'm low on tea or when I'm craving a matcha drink to go. They have a great selection of different teas at reasonable prices (although the prices have gone up in the last year). If you're shopping and have an hour to spare, hop on over to the tea bar and grab a drink to go. They can be made iced or hot and with any sweetener of your liking. There are usually around 2-5 employees in the store and they're all too busy to help you. If you manage to grab someone's attention after standing there for an hour, they might just offer you the drink for free. Their customer service is not always lacking, only 75% of the time, but it's still unprofessional to be ignored the second you walk into the store. There is one employee who goes out of his way to help customers and I make sure to only go when he is there. Anyways, my go to is the matcha with extra honey. I also add vanilla creamer on days I want it a little sweeter...strange, I know.

Rude staff and I just wanted to buy tea. People jump in front of you and the staff serves who they feel like. I will drink up the free samples and purchase from another company.

The tea here is expensive. But it is seriously the best tea I've ever bought. If you buy one of their refillable containers, then they will discount your sale every time you use it. I always stop by, even when I'm not buying, just for their samples.

I have been to Teavana pretty much every time I go to the Aventura Mall. They have an incredible selection of teas which you can either buy and take home, or have them make some tea for you to drink on the spot. I often get iced teas and they have helped me come up with some nice blends. One I like is Pear and Jasmine Pearl White Tea mixed with Strawberry Lemonade Herbal Tea. I also like their Moroccan Mint Black Tea. And usually there are some very nice blends that they concoct in their sample dispensers. Healthy and delicious. Teavana is a must try. Its the kind of place you would drive to the mall to try out even if you aren't in the area.

If I could I would give this location a NEGATIVE 5 star I would. I am a gold card member and I love my teas from teavana and my coffees from Starbucks. Never have I had a problem with a teavana employee ever until I walked into this location in the aventura mall. I am a new employee in one of the stores of aventura and I was excited to meet the staff of my favorite tea place; I walked in... there's people by the register so I go to the samplers and try to sample a tea while I wait. The tea sampler was empty so I sat my cuppy down to tell the employees that it was empty. In that exact second Elizabeth Yearwood looks straight at me and shouts in a more than unprofessional manner across the store: "toss that cup in the trash it is only three feet away from you!" I was shocked and in awe not understating how can an employee possibly even think of directing themselves to a costumer in that tone. I immediately tossed the cup in the garbage and walked up to the register and asked her who was her manager? In the same tone Elizabeth shouts: "she's right here!" I look at Karla (the manager; who's obviously scared of her staff) and very quietly asks: "what seems to be the issue?" I respond did you just not hear how your employee is shouting in a busy place of business? She replies "no I did not" Immediately I realized Karla was not going to do anything. I walk out call 1877teavana to place my first complaint ever and then walk back in to get their names and she goes in a loud tone and says: " ELIZABETH Y E A R W O O D" spelling it out. At this moment I ask for her boss again to have a chat with her about this adolescent like behavior in a major teavana store and guess what? She had left the building. How does a manager leave her store in the hands of her awful staff? So Elizabeth has the nerve to call mall security, the same mall where I am working and turn everything around like a manipulative mad woman even lying to the security telling them I was harassing her. The security was ready to escort me out of my own mall because of this crazy acting girl but I kindly told them I was not leaving until I speak correctly with the manager of this location. Karla and I finally spoke and she apologized for Elizabeth Yearwood's behavior because miss Yearwood would not, finally offered if I wanted my tea I came in the first place to buy and guess what? Elizabeth was right at the counter bulging her eyes out at me. I asked her boss why don't u please ask her to step out of the selling floor, Karla did so and Elizabeth nastily tells her own boss "no I'm not stepping off the floor!" I couldn't believe this was happening. It was like a nightmare you couldn't wake up from. Finally she says fine I'll step off but I'm taking my iPod! Then she goes to unplug her bad music playin iPod cursing as she walks to the back. I work in costumer service and I go above and beyond to make anyone walking through the doors of my establishment the greatest experience, therefore I do not appreciate someone treating anyone yet date to give me bad service much the less scream at me as if they were God. Something needs to be done about this staff specially Elizabeth Y E A R W O O D's behavior and way they treat their costumers. Costumer are what makes a business and offering bad service is not allowed in a costumer service environment!

The people who work here are awesome. Very polite and knowledgeable. The product is great and tea is always fresh. There are always people here sampling the tea which is cool that they offer people the oppurtunity to try before you buy. Really glad they have this place. Years ago I would order tea online. A great little tea nook in aventura mall.

When in town I make the schlep up to Aventura mall. Whilst at the mall I like to treat myself to Teavana. I have been to other locations, Chicago and Atlanta, This location inside Aventura Mall is a nightmare. The staff are friendly but they scream over the customers (while trying to help them) and always have multiple conversations with coworkers and different customers while they are "helping" you. It is insane. I had to ask the fellow who he was talking to because he was screaming at the moron making the tea behind the counter and talking to me. I call the teamaker a moron because I was forced to listen to him have a conversation with the dude that kinda helped me. Teamaker moron uses the word "like" for EVERY other word. "Like you know Like my mom like used to make me like watch Home Alone and like I was a little kid like and drink pepsi and like watch Home Alone and like I thought like everyone like had to watch Home Like Alone and like drink pepsi like and it was like cool and like..." It was awful to listen to just awful! Some chick with a half sleeve on each arm (one arm is a large stamp of Rosie the Riveter) kept coming out from the back (i guess it is the office) I'm not sure what this chick does at this location but I know it ain't managing these clowns. I had to wait for my drink while Tea maker moron was making the next batch of free tea (the sample hot tea located in the front in the large containers). I stood at the counter waiting for my tea a bit shocked while taking in all the chaos and unprofessionalism at Teavana. One employee annoyingly proceeded to tap on a can and the counter. I just stared at him as if compelling him to please STOP. I think he got the message because he stopped once we made eye contact. I tried not to look at the idiot again after that. As I waited for my tea in this dump of a Tea place I found the humor at the irony of this loud mess feeling anything but a Teavana- comfort peaceful place. Finally, Tea maker moron handed me my tasteless, overpriced and never going back to this location tea. Yes, that's right he made the tea lousy. Sigh.

Teavana is no longer the place to just go pick a tea and take it home to brew. They are selling teas by the cup and brewed right before you. Tea by the pound gets a tad bit pricey... So many teas, so many scents and so many flavors. What to choose? What to choose? I say just close your eyes and pick one...

i really love Teavana and i used to be very satisfied with their customer service.there were working very friendly and helpful guys.but like a few weeks ago i received extremely rude service.i have no idea what was wrong with this black lady, she was giving me an attitude like i'm totally bothering her(i asked her only 2 questions).i'm not gonna say about all details of my wonderful experience..at the check out she just threw my shopping back, turned away, continuing her conversation with coworkers.she even didn't say "good bye".what the heck?do i need this negative ever again?of course no.won't come back

Really friendly employees, great samples, and great tea!!! MMMMM. I love Teavana. Although it is very expensive, I splurge every now and then or even come across a great deal like this past trip to Teavana. I purchased a gift for someone else for $18 and it came with a variety of different loose teas to try in a great tin gift box (originally $34). You can find some deals here if you look (or ask). At least stop by to get a free sample ;)

Teavana made me a tea snob. I know, I know, you were unaware that this particular niche existed out there, but I assure you it does, and it can happen to you too. I blame having too much time on my hands and big doe eyes of the tattooed several face piercing young man that assisted me at Teavana all summer (I went in about 2-3 times a week). I first went in thinking it would be quite simple, purchase some specialty tea to make at home. When I got it home, super excited to put my new tea in the tea ball and enjoy, I realized that this commercialized tea ball that I had (which was shaped like a moon and I thought was very cool) was not that great at holding the tea- and I wound up with bits of tea debris in my cup and was kind of sad. This led to me going back to the Teavana store with my dad to check out new a new tea ball, and of course the tea pots on the wall called out to me. The cast iron pots that they have there are really beautiful and on most of them there are different animals that decorate the pots each one having a different meaning in the Japanese culture. When I got there, I bought a red 2 c. pot with dragonflies on it, but when I got it home I realized that a 2 c pot is VERY small, and looked very silly on the stove. I went back and got an 8 c pot (perhaps I will invite some friends over for tea). Once I had the 8 c pot, I of course, then needed the matching cups. The cups led to the need for special mixing utensils and all the while, each time I went back, I learned more and more about tea, and bought more and more different combinations and before I knew it, I felt like I was working for tea. My favorite is the strawberry and the peppermint has worked wonders for my stomach. Yes, the tea is good for you. Yes, the tea is delicious. Yes, the tea is EXPENSIVE. Some of the teas are moderately priced, but you really have to be careful when they bring out those huge tubs filled with luscious teas wafting the teas and tantalizing your olfactory senses, beware of the price tag that comes with them. There were days when I left with tiny bags, and had paid $40 for tea! I also highly suggest having the tea you think you want to purchase made for you on the spot, or don't buy too much at once. There was one time that I was allowed to exchange a tea that I didn't like, but that was because of the salesperson's mistake, otherwise you take it, you bought it, it's yours for better or worse. I have a couple teas that smelled amazing and I was thinking that they would be great, but my nose and my taste buds were not in agreement. Don't let it be choose at your own risk, take my advice and try before you buy!

They sell fresh made hot tea by the cup now :) Who knew?? Not me! Beautiful exotic sounding teas, super expensive at $16 and $18 a quarter pound (makes about 30 cups) for the teas that they featured today in their tastings. But delish. And the descriptions they give make you think that you OWE it to yourself to buy some. But the prices make me wince. Very nice teapots and accouterments. Rooibos tea always brings out the silly in me and makes me say to myself "ROOBY ROOBY ROOOO"!

Love Teavana. I have been to this location many many times. It is always super packed!!! I only go there when I 'm completely out because it is super uncomfortable to buy anything in that tiny store. They need to move to a bigger location. They can afford it! Specially with what I pay for teas. Prices need to go down. People are starting to notice better teas at better prices online. A couple years ago they didn't have any competition. Thats no longer the case....

Plenty of other people have had pretty useful things to say about this place and its products so I'll get to the point: HOLY UP-SELL BATMAN!!! They were nice about it but I swear every other word out of the sales clerk's mouth was an up-sell. I had to get a touch snippy to get him to tone it down. I already came in knowing what I wanted so the sales pitch disguised as useful information was really not needed. I guess he figured he could get away with it because he was cute. Mental note to self: start calling out cute people on their shit more often. Note: The entire store smells like heaven. I'd pay $5 just to go stand in there and sniff for 10 mins. Second Note: the earl grey I purchased is my new lover. I've never had such wonderfully fragrant loose leaf tea before. I want to go back but I'm afraid I'll be up-sold into buying $200's worth of tea by some cute tea clerk.

I now have a wall that holds most of their pots which means I cant help but buy one every time I visit. I would say the prices are fair since its high quality loose leaf tea, but that's just me. The pots are a bit on the pricey side, but most are hand made and crafted by tradespeople who specialize in Asian tea pots. Ask the staff for some help, they know a lot of history on certain types of pots, lore on the designs, and what tea will match you best.

FREE SAMPLES ! All the time you cannot beat that right. They usually have 3 hot , and one iced to sample. So this gets me int he store everytime. I love their fruitty flavor icead teas. They have actual pieces of the fruit dried in with the tea before they brew it. It is really high quality. I went with the strawberry mixed with blueberry tea. They brew it fresh for you they put it over ice. It is really good no clue how something with no calories can taste so good. I never bought it to bring home and make but it looks like they sell over 50 flavors.

Best tea in miami! Pricey but you get what you pay for. I like to try new blends iced, made right in the store. Nice splurge once in a while as an alternative to my regular drink at Starbucks.
