Oh how the mighty have fallen... I usto BRAG to all my buddies about this place back when they first opened up and plenty of years after.every single person loved this place.. Then I dont know what the hell happened but it seems like maybe new management? But they switched alot of the food they serve for instance the crab wontons are not the same as before, they seem cheaper and more "generic" than before. Also the honey garlic wings were soooo much bigger and better before..now its just garlic honey drenched wings. Its still great take out though and they delivery is speedy. maybe im just wishing it was like the old takee outee so I can rate 5 stars.

I was in need of a new Chinese place asap and decided to try this spot. Both experiences have been great . I have always pre ordered online and gone to pick it up within time estimated and I never had to wait . The shrimp fried rice has enough shrimp for a quart size and they are medium sized shrimps not small. Some Chinese restaurants skimp you out however, not this establishment . It also tasted very fresh and they cook the rice with little soy sauce which is great because if you want more they have soy sauce packets available to add at your discretion. The LO MEIN IS BOMB . I'm seriously addicted to lo mien . Whether hot or cold , it hits the spot. They make it taste amazing , I recommend the vegetable lo mein ! I also had honey chicken and enjoy that they pack the honey seperate. When you walk into the restaurant it is small and the kitchen is visible since it is behind the counter. I have never had an issue with cleanliness and the employees do wear gloves. Another Chinese restaurant added to my favs list !

We ordered from this place once but there take on Chinese food is not to our liking. I'm a fan of honey garlic chicken and I'm used to the sweet honey sauce I get to dip my fried chicken in. Unfortunately the sauce they give you tastes bitter and is in no way sweet or savory. The crab rangoons they have also have a strange taste and it was because they stuff them with mango. Overall I will probably never order from here again, I'll stick to my regular Chinese place from now on.

My go to Chinese food place. Just moved to Cutler Bay 6 months ago and so glad I discovered it. Every thing I have tried has been delicious and prices are great as well. Love the honey chicken. Sauce is different than most other Chinese places and I love it.

The honey garlic chicken had a staple in the breading. The Health department needs to take them outee.

I'm was a fan once but now I can't with Takee Outee. The place looks dirty. I was waiting for my food and the lady (not the Hispanic one) sneezed in her had and proceeded to help customers with there food, I had to remind her to wash her hand since she is handling food. The sink to wash there hands is literary right next to the cash register, she's not going out of her way to stay clean, so gross!

Ordered the sesame Chicken with fried rice and egg roll. Found the food to be very bland. not a hint of spice. same for the rice. only reason my dog didn't have Chinese that day was because i was in a hurry and very hungry. When you have no options you have it eat what you got...Sorry no photos, don't want memories of this place.

We get the usual Beef and broccoli, wonton soup, magnolia beef all is very good and consistent. They forget your order a lot so double check your bag if doing delivery.

I just moved to this area and I wanted some Chinese food. Made the decision of ordering take out from Takee Outee. What a horrible decision this was. I show up and they had charged me for delivery, after debating with the lady she finally realized she was wrong and gave me a few bucks back in cash. Not a problem everyone makes mistakes. Since this was an issue I completely forgot to check my food and left. When I sat down at home I realized that they had not given me the honey sauce that is obviously needed if you order honey chicken. I don't know about you guys but when you order "honey chicken" you expect honey, if not then you just ordered plain greasy chicken for no reason. So I call them and explain this to them. The lady who answered the phone tells me "ok please hold" she literally places me on hold for 15 mins and I can hear everything shes talking about with her "manager" or whoever she is. At the end they tell me to just come back and get the sauce or I can pick up 2 dollars lol, I told them that they should bring it to me since I am the customer and I did not make the mistake. I told them I did not order this meal and therefore either they bring me sauce or I would just simply charge back my credit card. They then told me ok we will bring it but we dont know when. At this point , I was mad. So I went to the location and picked up the damn sauce lol. Seems ridiculous im complaining about sauce but its crazy what can make or break a meal. I picked up the sauce the lady was cracking up, which is fine because in my head I was cracking up as well. They did not realized I had already charged back my card (thank god for american express). I went home at the food, which sucked. Rice was extremely plain..honestly worst fried rice I have ever had. The chicken was good. At the end of the day whoever took the time to read this very long review... obviously I recommend YOU DO NOT GO HERE but if you do just make sure you check your food and your receipt. I live right around the corner from this place and it would be easy for me to go here again but I WILL LITERALLY NEVER GO TO HIS PLACE AGAIN.

Just moved to the area and decided to order some take out from here because our landlord raved about this place and their awesome food..... My husband and I were so disappointed. The customer service was good but the food.... Is not good Chinese food at all. I ordered the honey chicken for my daughter and me and I could hardly find the chicken in the thick coating of fried batter. I did like how they did not coat the chicken with the sauce and then put it in the Togo container. That was very smart on their part. My fried batter with tiny bits of chicken in it would have been really soggy. We will not go here for Chinese food. I think Panda Express is better then this place :-/

I'm actually very impressed by this little spot. I'm a native NY/NJ girl so I've had my share of Chinese food. I can't say the entire menu is amazing because I haven't had it but so far the Chicken & Rice soup and the fried Wontons were great! The steamed dumplings were pretty decent and not too thick but they are a little on the sweet side. I've seen some mixed reviews about this place and I really think it's all about preference. When it comes to Chinese it's difficult to love a new place that wasn't your first impactful memory. I know no one will ever beat my favorite place in Union City, NJ but so far I've been pleasantly surprised by this little place in Cutler Bay. The one true downfall of this restaurant is its online ordering system. We gave specific directions to ring the bell and they were either ignored or not noticed. I also asked if they could add snow peas to my soup and that didn't happen either. So, they aren't perfect but they are certainly not too shabby.

The food is great, Ive had the general Tsao and the sweet and sour chicken. The food is hot and fresh. Only complaint is the young lady in the front, no please no thank you no manners. If it wasnt for her, this place would get 5 stars! Keep it up with the good food, however, train etiquette to the cashier.

Always tastes and looks fresh. So far I've had the sweet and sour chicken, egg and spring rolls, ribs and bones less ribs- all delicious

Sadly I have to said that I got the worse customer service ever I try to order over the phone for a delivery the girl taking my order was talking to me and who knows how many people at the same time I order two different soups n I got a mix when im allergic to eggs I call to make the complaint and they said that they are unable to do anything plus they forgot my soda . Time to look for another place.

Worst experience when placing an order!! The only reason they have any business is due to the conveniently low prices. Once when ordering a larger order.. I had a few questions and the guy kept putting down the phone and I could hear him taking orders from another line!! I was half way in to my order.. When they hung up on me for asking if they charge extra for the sauce. When I called back the guy wasn't remorseful and admitted that he hung up on me.. When asked to speak to the manager he hung up again!!! I called the day after and I didn't get ahold of a manager but an employee who had been there supposedly longer.. said he'd speak to the employee to hear his side of the story. I was told the manager would call me and she never did. Oh and the only reason I didn't go in person to complain or track down a manager is because I value my life!! And I didn't want to get in a physical altercation with a thug! If I were you I would avoid this place like the plague!! But if you're so cheap and enjoy the taste of liquid garbage that much.. then I'm sorry but you deserve what happens to you.. from eating from this dumpster. P.S. the only reason I gave this place 1 star is because negative stars were not an option.

Pretty good for a Chinese restaurant in Miami. Pretty close to NY Chinese food

Bleh! This place is right around the corner from my house and its really nothing to write home about. There's nothing special about the special fried rice. Their eggrolls are made with the same dough as the spring rolls which confuses me. I do however like their dumplings but that's where it stops. Youre really paying for what you get which is below average greasy chinese take out.

Best Chinese take out in cutler ridge hands down. Quick, cheap and food is great! The dumplings are off the charts.

I've been a fan of Takee Outee ever since taking a trek down Old Cutler to see what was in the area. This is a "New York style" restaurant, which means it is take out only, but they have a fast turnover time and great food. Their lunch and dinner specials are huge, and for under $10 for the dinners, you are easily getting two meals out of them. I'm partial to the boneless spare ribs dinner, which gives you a huge portion of meat and rice. Ultimately the taste and price blows Canton out of the way, so if you just want some Chinese to gorge on at home, I highly recommend Takee Outee.

When we first moved to Miami, we lived in Cutler Bay around the corner from Takee Outee. It has since remained our number one Chinese take-out restaurant, and worth every mile of the drive south to get our "Takee-Outee" fix. My husband craves their food at least once a month, and we end up making the long trek without a second thought. It may not look any different from other Chinese take-out restaurants, but just taste their food and you will see the difference. There is nothing like them in Miami!! This is purely a take-out restaurant, so don't plan to eat there. The best meal is the boneless spare ribs meal, and their Wonton/Eggdrop soup mix is really good.

My family and I always order from here. We always order large orders (as we are a family of 8). They never have gotten our order wrong, the food is always great. And delivery ....well they always tell me 45 minutes but they are knocking 20-25 minutes later.

  • Pab P.

Our friends who live on Old Cutler always raved about this place, and with good reason! For a Chinese Take Out joint you can't really do any better than Takee Outee. The food is good, they prepare it quickly and its fresh, and its very inexpensive! The only con is I would say the staff is not very friendly and service isn't really very good, but for chinese take out who cares!

  • Edwin S.

This place is a JOKE! We ordered some food and the food they ACTUALLY got RIGHT really wasn't any good. When I called to see if they can rectify the order, they tried charging me more and a 45 minute wait for my family to get the rest of the order. We ended up throwing their food in the trash and ordering from a REAL establishment! Never ordering from this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so thankful this restaurant is in my city. I have their menu attached to my refrigerator and always call in my order. By the time I get there, the order is ready and I am back home in record time. I am impressed with the flavor of every entree I have ever ordered. So nice to be a lazy takeout night! I have never dad a complaint.

I have been into Takee Outee twice within the past couple of weeks and both times the food has been fantastic and the portions have been enormous! Both times I had the combo with Honey Garlic Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. The chicken was super fresh and nice and crispy and the honey garlic sauce was just right. I would have liked it to have a little more garlic but it was still delicious just as it was. The rice was freshly made and didn't disappoint. The egg roll was also very fresh and nice and crispy. Did I mention that the portions were enourmous! It was enough food for two people to eat and it was only about $9!

I tried this place and thought it was okay. The generals chicken is good, and the ham fried rice was good too. Did not like the steak fried rice. The place is small; similar to a NY chinese take out. I wish the place would look more well kept, then maybe I could eat with more confidence. The portions are large and the prices are fair. They have a kitchen cabinet demo in the entrance, so it moonlights as a home depot. The generals chicken was made with white meat. The fried rice has a good amount of onions and some other veggies. I will try more dishes.

Do yourself a favor and skip Takee Outee. I had been a long time customer who is sick and tired of the terrible service they provide. They ALWAYS forget part of your order and when you call, they are very rude. I waited over 2 hours for the rice they left off of my order only to see them close without showing up. I will NEVER order from here again.

The food is decent... Nothing special... Something about the fried rice makes me sick afterwards. Aside from that it's w.e.

I only come here cause they're the closets Chinese Food place. Orders come with a side of attitude. And.. they put green peas and carrots in their special fried rice.

I'm not sure if I've ever had better Chinese take-out. And even for those who are picky about the quality of take-out food, they will give you so much food for the money, you won't give a hoot. Must try at least once.

First time ordering. I got the lunch special of chicken and broccoli. Standard. Really can't mess it up. It was ok. Not bad, but not great. Very bland, even the pork fried rice. Not great enough to not order from this place again. ALSO, how do you order take out and they don't give you utensils!!! No fork, chopsticks, napkin. Nothing! I picked it up myself and brought it to work with me. Then I had to walk along to strip mall to find another business to get a fork from. All I could find was a spoon. ANNOYING and disappointing!!!!

  • Michelle J.

Decent "Chinese" food for the area. The pork fried rice could use some more seasoning. Don't be fooled by the Chicken Rice Soup it's just white rice, chicken chunks and wonton soup broth. The lunch and dinner specials are well priced and they come with an egg roll. I don't know about you but I can't say no to an egg roll.

I'm so glad we discovered this place!! The food is great and made fresh. We can't get enough of the chicken in garlic sauce and the vegetable spring rolls. Occasionally, I must have their spare ribs and the shrimp fried rice. I love this place!! The service is not that great but I believe this is partly because of language barrier. They are fast and the food is always hot. Take out only. Don't dine in.

This has been our go to Chinese restaurant since we have moved to Culter Bay. Its quick and consistent. I can order and get my food in about 15 mins. They have really good lunch specials (entree, pork fr, egg woll, soda) and they run those special run on saturday. We eat here a couple times a month and its just all around fantastic. If you need chinese food in the area dont hesitate . Plus the name is hilarious, i mean come on the engrish

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
