Bro. I love coming to the TB lounge whenever I am craving a nice gourmet Mexican meal. I recommend the breakfast burritos.. As my Mexican friends would say: Delicioso. Epic willy out.

Understaffed on a Saturday night. Management needs to hire more people because it took an hour of waiting in lyft ride. Furthermore they restricted their menu to 4 combo items. Not accommodating for dietary restrictions. Would rate 0 out of 5.

Ended up getting a burrito supreme combo and I was very un satisfy. How I got my food was a disaster everything was basically thrown into the bag which made a complete mess. The burrito as well as the the nachos I came home with was completely soggy while the paper for the burrito was completely wet sticking onto the burrito which was unpleasant to see let alone eat. Will not be stopping by at this chain restaurant again.

Worst "fast food" drive thru I have ever been to. I'm writing this review as I wait in line to get food and it's been 45 mins I can't even back up which is pretty funny, if I could I would leave this place and give them them the middle you know what! Or worse! These guys are extremely slow. Corporate should look at this place. They make people back up to not allow the sensors to trigger if there's a customer waiting. This place sucks I'm only here because I'm stuck now hahaha

This location puts out consistently good food, is open 24 hours, and the staff is generally polite and courteous. Yes they have occasional issues, butt this seems to be one of the better managed taco bells I have been to.

  • Rosaly C.

After remodeling there's been really long lines thru the drive thru and I believe they replaced the old crew which sucks. They need to pick up the speed and cut off wait times. After that the food is always good.

Came here for breakfast. Asked for the breakfast sauce or salsa. They had no clue what I was talking about so I said the sauce that something del sol. They had no clue what I was talking about and then stated it was discontinued just because they had no clue of the salsa that's been around for the breakfast items since they started serving breakfast! Every other Taco Bell I've been too has it! I've been twice in the past week to two different taco bells for breakfast yes extremely bad habit I know but not going to this one for breakfast again. Also all the negative reviews are accurate at night this line can take up to an hour and by the time you get home anything that was supposed to be crunchy is soggy as hell. Only order items that are not supposed to be crunchy unless you are eating in...

Newly renovated Exterior is great... wish they could get their act together on the food. Chipolte kicks their ass in every way. This location is really tough to access due to traffic patterns. Looks great on the outside tho :)

"I still go to Taco Bell, drive through, raw as hell" Sorry I just had to get that out of my system. Now on to my review: Seriously, guys...why the low ratings for this Taco Bell? My expectations of TBell are always so low, because, let's be real, they are ALWAYS a disaster, but I went in, was greeted timely, GOT WHAT I ACTUALLY ORDERED, sat down, drank two Baja Blast, because that's the real reason we go am I right? Got an immediate stomach ache and had to leave. There was nothing off the wall bad about this Taco Bell. They had plenty of napkins. Most don't. I could find lids and straws for my cup. Most are out of them. And the service was actually friendly. Most of the time I feel like I'm in the middle of a gang war when going to Tbell. And, OH they have a TV in there! What a great world do we live in where you can watch cable while eating the greasy goodness that is a 7 layer burrito or their new 1 pound nachos or hey, what the hell, eat them both. You're not having sex tonight after eating Taco Bell so you might as well do it up.

I'm very glad this taco bell reopened and it is much cleaner and nicer inside than it was before. I still find the parking lot and drive through somewhat inconvenient but it's better than having no taco bell. They must have hired new staff because they get my order right more often than not since reopening. It is still incredibly slow compared to most other taco bells as well as less tasty.

I was wondering why I felt sick after eating Taco Bell two days in a row or more. So I searched the internet with those exact words. What I found out was, there is 1/4 cup bad chemicals and other unneeded colors per pound of ground beef added for flavor and color. Stuff that cause cancer and tumors. Now I know why I can wait at a street truck that makes tacos for the same amount of time and not feel bad everyday if I want, and not feel like my guts are going to fall out. Too bad for Taco Bell because I will never eat there again. Too bad for me too because I did like the convenience for a one day - need something right now - kind of thing. I can't even look at any advertising from Taco Bell and think it is something that I want to eat. Sad.

I live very close to this Taco Bell, so I have been to it when I get a Taco Bell craving. I have been three times and now I'm so disgusted I just can't do it anymore. I'm a bit traumatized to even go to another Taco Bell now. The first two times the place was just very dirty. There was food all over the floor and I just wondered why someone couldn't just come out and do some sweeping. But then the third time, a girl that couldn't understand me very well took my order and when I handed her my credit card I noticed she was wearing dirty used gloves! Covered in food! She was working the register and then going back to prepare the food and vise versa. She handed back my card and it had crust and nastiness on it. I had to wipe it and scrape beans or something off before putting it back in my wallet. Then she went back and made my tacos. I was so disgusted that I wanted to leave. How can someone think that it's ok to do that? Seems to me that there is never a manager at this place. Anyway, I left with my two tacos and didn't eat them. Don't think I'll be back again.

why did i do this? i cant live like this anymore. i love me and therefore i should not eat here. a couple of co workers convinced me to join them for dinner at taco bell and i - for some odd reason - thought that was a good idea. this was a week ago and it was my first time going to taco bell in five years maybe... and definitely my first time going sober to taco bell, in fact, not being stoned at taco bell felt very unnatural to me. because i am such a good sport i decided to get the steak burrito supreme combo. that comes with a beef soft taco and a very large drink. i got water, cause im healthy, of course. eating taco bell took my back to my early 20's and it also affected my metabolism and digestion (read indigestion) in such grotesque ways i should not even mention. i cant live like this. really. i must stop acting like a fool so good bye taco bell. this time is for real. its over. however, if youre young and broke, taco bell could potentially "save" your life until you undisputedly die sitting on the toilet at your studio apartment somewhere in hialeah.

This has been my go-to TacoBell for their promoted "Fourth Meal". Just by virtue of it's location next to the Julia Tuttle Causeway and close enough to the Downtown clubs, it's perfect for that bit of "Emergency Carbs". I'll admit it has sentimental value, since it was my high school lunch spot back in the day when we had open lunch (early 90's). That being said, it's Taco Bell. The Fresco Chicken Tacos are the "best" dish. Otherwise it's hard to describe with the level of detail of a sit-down meal. The drive-thru line can be reallly long weekend nights, and sometimes homeless people will walk up to the car and ask for donations. However, I've encountered civilized service at the drive thru window once I get there and the carbs do satisfy. Location is definitely 5-star even if the food is not memorable. I'll average it out to 3 stars.

Good taco bell and fairly quick serivce. It is taco bell, but i have never had any issues with my orders, the drive through, or eating in. The workers seem to be competent. As far as fast food goes there are no issues with this location.

Not being much of a fast food kinda girl, every now and then we will come here for a late night snack. This location is horrible. They have never ever gotten my order right. This time I did not pull away until I checked everything. Yep again forgot our burritos. They always fix the order but with an attitude. They never apologize for getting it wrong. Oh well, chalk it up as these people really dislike their job I guess. No desire to go back anytime soon.

Sorry, but a Taco Bell employee, Tyler Weinman (Miami Dade College) is probably an animal torturer.: petside.com/article/flor… This person is very sick and I believe, dangerous. They've released him because his parents probably paid someone off. Tyler is even bragging about it on his FB page. Please spread the word: Tyler Weinman on Facebook just a couple of months ago: "Why am I being attacked by a fat old man named Larry Henderson in my inbox for my love of torturing cats?" Funny? Nope. This dude is sick.

I love taco bell, but this is the worst one i've ever been to. Its near my house so I go anyway, but they have the longest wait for food you can imagine. I've waited 10 minutes after ordering to get my food, more than once. It says its a pizza hut too but i think they only make personal pizzas when someone orders one bc they have been "out" everytime I've ever been and it takes 10 minutes to cook one.

    (2)
  • Liz T.

oh god... the thought of taco bell churns my stomach. but fyi... this place is also a pizza hut now. but, for some reason the few times i've gone here it's been packed!! the drive-thru and inside. like 25 min wait for fast food on a week night... WTF?! and be prepared they usually don't have any pizza ready. the first time i went it took literally 20 min to go through the line, then had to wait 15 min for them to make my pizza. since then, i've been a little smarter... i walk straight to the counter and ask for them to put one in for me in advance. they sometimes argue, but usually concede. on that note, service is super rude... even for fast food. it's super ghetto inside too. i always laugh, cause there's at least one person who doesn't fit and looks lost, like they just stopped in cause they were passing thu and then they get inside and you can almost read their thoughts, "oh my. where the hell am i? did i make a wrong turn somewhere? oh i hope i locked my car? " as they clutch their purse tighter and then keep complaining to the counter girl that they haven't gotten their food yet, but really the counter girl doesn't give a flyin' f*ck. 2 stars for pizza & an super entertaining 20 min wait.

This Taco Bell/Pizza Hut is on my way home and near Midtown Miami, so I occasionally pick up dinner here. I love the idea of being able to pick up tacos and breadsticks at the same time, but my experience with Taco Bell combos is usually not very good. As noted by Liz T., the lines can be huge, I think mainly because there aren't any Taco Bells nearby or on Miami Beach. Service is subpar and can often be a little rude, but not consistently rude. The food is my main issue with this Taco Bell. Though part of a chain (this is a franchise), the portion sizes here are always smaller than other Taco Bells. I went last night, and my bean burrito was half the normal size and the Cheesy Gordita Crunch was sloppily put together. I almost regretted even going in the first place.

    (2)
  • Richard K.

This must be the worst situated fast food line I have ever been in. I was a considerate person and properly made a U-turn in the lot to file in properly, but one car insisted on cutting the line. I was the unlucky bastard who she cut in front. She looks out the window as to say "what else you expect me to do its Miami, being considerate is not our forte. After that debacle, the line moved very very slow, so slow i saw two cars behind me back up and leave the line. Finally, I order two fresco tacos, which is the slightly healthier version of the taco. What I end up is with two normal tacos. They get two stars for managing to give me food. i can only imagine how irate I would be if I had been completely sober.

Did the other reviewers forget this is Taco freakin' Bell?!? This location rocks. The first key is to know that it is frequented by homeless and late night drunks in the drive thru who seem to have a sense of entitlement. Rather than being disappointed that the location is not as pure as Disney or as safe as suburban hell, you can have fun. On the inside, I have found that a smile goes a long way with those at the counter. NEVER had an attitude from a single employee. I see a lot of the same hard working young men working in the back each time I go in. Prepare yourself that certain sodas don't work, they run out of pizza, or they just flat forget to put in every item you ordered. Take the time to check your bag and remember that you're eating on the lowest rung of the food chain. If the wait wasn't occasionally so long, I'd give them 5 stars based on courtesy alone- they're not stingy with the bathroom and they don't hassle the homeless who come in for a free "refill."

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate.
