Subway of Carter Square: Good Atmosphere, But Greater Fare Interior: A pleasant atmosphere of a casual nature that puts the customer at ease; even the decor is quite pleasing to the senses. I highly approve of it, although there are minor surface obstacles present, however insignificant they may appear. Surely it might need some periodic cleaning there, nothing major. [4.3/5.0] Staff: Courteous and serviceable, but a tad slow. One might assume that a fraction of the kitchen personnel are merely new hires. [3.5/5.0] Dining: It certainly fits the D.A.N. Dining Criteria: Delectability, Affordability, and Novelty. I must theorize that back in the olden days, bacon on a sandwich is considered unhealthy. But now there are additional healthy options sufficient to balance out this outdated criticism via the application of fresh vegetables, including spinach. [4.7/5.0] Amenities: The restrooms are above-average in appearances, yet there rises a need for increased cleanliness, mostly used toilet paper on the floors. Not impressed... [3.5/5.0] Final Judgement: There is no doubt on my mind that only the fewest restaurants (if any) in the world are perfect. This is precisely the reason why a majority of restaurants in common areas continue to struggle for perfection. However, now that I mention it, I'm starting to sound too snobbish and harsh, even for budding dining hangouts. My point is, since I have to place hygienic/sanitation standards on top priority (in the interest of overall customer satisfaction) with food quality following by a nose (no pun intended), my judgement dictates that this health-minded, franchise-owned establishment deserves some praise, all by the skin of its teeth. Although it shows promise, there is always a time to improve on a few things. After all, a restaurateur's work is never done, and neither is that of the occasional food critic. Final Score: [4.0/5.0]
