Walking in I knew what I wanted. The girls that attended me were very nice. I got a slim and trim chocolate, pretty tasty and refreshing. I saw some yogurt covered pretzels, and asked how much they cost. She answered me, and as I looked again, the yogurt was melting. That's because the a/c was not functioning in the store. It was so hot in there. I feel bad for those girls that had to work in that heat. I hope management resolves that issue quickly. I've been here various times, and everyone is always nice. They always prepare everything pretty quickly too. You're in an out in less than 10 min. I would come again, but I hope they fix the a/c!

Place stank and they don't have all the ingredients. The guy tells me they haven't had yogurt in quite some time?!?! What is that? Then take it off the ingredient board! I recommend other smoothie kings, but not this one...

Right next door to where I live so I literally walk here. They don't mind changing the ingredients for those who are picky. Everyone is knowledgable and I always ask them to make sure they put no sugar in my drink. I notice the difference too so they pay attention to the picky people

This smoothie king location is conveniently placed due to the fact that it's right next to the gym and FIU so i come here all the time. The service here is pretty good, the girls are always nice and go above and beyond to give a pleasant experience! I have been coming here for a little over a year and the ones who have been there a little longer always have my usual smoothie done by the time I walk into the store, so thats a little extra perk! However it seems that management really does not care about this store, its employees or its customers, because theres always something wrong with the store itself. Either the place stinks, they're out of stock on something, the a/c is broken, or the merchandise won't scan (leaving me empty handed on my snacks), and sometimes its all of these!! This morning i went in to get my usual gladiator smoothie and it was HOT, even for miami! Normal temps in miami range from 90+ usually, but when i walked into smoothie king it felt like i had been welcomed into the depths of hell! I asked the girl who was working there (who was sweating!!) if the a/c was broken and she said that it had been this way for a month, and that it is a recurring issue here! GOD BLESS THEM!!! I was curious as to how hot it was because in the 3 minutes or less i was there even i started to sweat, and she replied with 101 degrees and that at times they have to sit inside the freezer! Only reason i give the three stars is for the employees and for the great smoothies they make, otherwise this place is a joke..

Smoothie, smoothie, smoothie king.. la.. la.. la.. la.. la.. haha i feel a little smoothie song coming threw. Pre-workout shake, post workout shake, lunch time shake, anytime shake!! Who doesn't enjoy a large smoothie anytime, right? They have so many varieties to choose from too! You can make your own smoothie if you want to too. Banana smoothies all day!!

I've been to this location a few times and have always enjoyed my experience. It's very small so you can't sit and enjoy your smoothie, but the service is always pleasant and quick. I always order the Pineapple Surf smoothie, which consists of pineapple, strawberry and kiwi. At Smoothie King you can add supplements to your drink or enjoy an assortment of other healthy snacks. Definitely somewhere I enjoy coming to and a nice alternative to Starbucks.

Tried this place just for giggles, I'm lactose intolerant so I ordered a smoothie that supposedly wasn't made with milk, false. It had milk and it made me feel like shiiit, I have to admit it was good. But the milk killed it for me, also the fact that the person behind the counter doesn't know what their smoothies are made out of.

This Smoothie King in the 2 months I've been visiting it has always been out of something. They never seem to have enough product especially at the end of the week. How hard is it to open up a jug of the gladiator mix that they're trying to sell, or send some one over to Publix to buy a couple jars of peanut butter or some bananas. The store is usually pretty dirty and I spend my time swatting away fruit flies the whole time I'm in there. The employees aren't top notch either. There are a couple of nice ones but for the most part you never even hear a thank you, even when you're shoving 2 or 3 dollars in their tip jar. Only one guy in my 2 months going here ever said thank you for a tip and that's when I told him to keep the change and it was like 5 bucks. He said "really?!?" I said yep and he said wow thanks. The Smoothies are usually pretty good although the first 2 I ever had at this location were very gritty like the enhancer powder wasn't mixed into the smoothie properly, I could actually crunch on it with my teeth. The most recent smoothie I had yesterday made me sick to my stomach and tasted like garbage. It's a smoothie I've had several times too but obviously wasn't made properly this time. I can only recommend this location if you enjoy craps, because the quality and service you get is a real crap shoot.

First time at a Smoothie King and I'm a fan. It's a really small place so expect to just grab your order and leave but the service was excellent (well then again, I was the only one there....) and the smoothie came out delicious. Rookie mistake: I didn't know you could make a smoothie skinny by saying 'make it skinny' and it does make a difference in the calories of the drink! I will definitely keep this in mind for next I go. Yes, there will be a next time. P.S.: This is another location that gives 10% off to any FIU student who shows their panther card/ FIU One card. Just trying to save us (college students) some money!!

I love smoothie king but not this location. The guy who works here is rude as hell and doesn't know how to interact with customers. Oscar the idiot who works here makes my drink and then my boyfriends I guess he forgot how to measure because he takes out my boyfriends drink and adds more stuff to it. My drink is done he then goes to clean dishes making us wait for 5 min after his was already done. He pours the drink and it doesnt even fill the cup and I asked nicely if he could fill it up as I paid for a large I would like to get a large and tells me NO in a nasty attitude. Then laughs with customers about it. I took his picture and plan on calling the corporate office and complaining.

There are two ways I like my gladiators: 1) Like Andy Whitfield on Spartacus Blood and Sand ( I totally digs the bearded long -haired look too) 2) with blueberries and blackberries (the darker the berry the sweeter the juice) At no point does the aforementioned state with a scowl and a completely neglectful demeanor. The customer service at the Smoothie King across from the FIU Maidique Campus epic fails miserably in that department. Sorry Beefcake, eye-candy with piercing blue eyes, I'll take the Smoothie King @ Sunset Place any day. They give good smoothie and good customer service. PS. I put the TP on the Top shelf where your ham hock arms can't reach. K bye!
