I go to Smoothie Kings a lot, just not this one. I saw this one was close to where I was going and decided to come here. I ordered a chocolate Lean 1 with Peanut butter instead of bananas and was told they didn't have that flavor in stock. That's fine, I work in food. I get it. I asked her to make me my go-to backup drink, which involves two scoops of peanut butter since I can't have fruit. I used to put coffee and peanut butter, but its kinda gross. The guy at the Smoothie King in Sunset Place commented on my drink's funkiness and suggested I use double peanut butter, and I have been ever since. She tells me it is physically impossible to make, though. I ask is she's kidding, but, as you can guess by my one star review, she wasn't. So I ask her to just put one scoop of peanut butter and not put in a second fruit. She tells me she can't do that. I ask why, but apparently she just can't. So I settle for my funky coffee and peanut butter, which is apparently possible to make. I order a medium. Admittedly, I was distracted by my frustration when she rung me up a small. While she was making my shake, she told it was also impossible to make a Lean 1 without bananas. She asked me if I knew it always contains bananas, or if I just didn't notice. I didn't really feel like engaging with her, but I did explain that other Smoothie King employees simply don't put bananas in my smoothie when I ask them not to. To sum it up, I'm not coming back here. This was enough for me. And it also made me appreciate every other Smoothie King I've ever been to. They apparently make the impossible happen for me every day.

Can't see why anyone would rate this location one star? The owner is super nice and knows your name. This guy, and his wife I may add are extremely customer friendly and work 90% of the shifts. I have been going here since they've been open and I know a little about customer service as I've owned a few businesses. That being said I'm calling Bullshit on the two posters who gave one star.

Right around the corner from where I live, I love that it's so convenient for me. My favorite smoothie is "angel food" which is with strawberries & bananas. It's a little bit on the expensive side considering that it's only a smoothie...I believe I pay about 4 dollars and some change for a small. Don't forget to get a punch card when you go, 10th punch = free smoothie :)

Ok I have in here a couple of times and everytime its been at least 10 to 15 minutes to get my order, well maybe thats normal I thought. But came today and there is a person in front of who 5 orders and I can see this is going to take sometime but there are 2 people in You would think that one of them could make my order so I would not have to wait for 35 minutes. All I can say is they need to think and not be so robotic and having alittle personalitie would help also.

Eventhough the credit card system was down yesterday and the air conditioning was broken today.... The staff was extremely friendly and attentive both times... Actually everytime!!! Great job keep it up and stay cool!

Friendly staff! Yummy smoothies! I usually stick to what I know I'll like. One day I felt adventerous and ordered something different. I didn't like it. I politely asked for my regular and Matt was kind enough to make a new one for me without reluctancy. I am in and out of places like these, but what keeps me coming back aside from the efficiency is the staff's pleasant attitude.

Smoothie King is THE BEST! They have the tastiest smoothies around, the widest variety of supplements, and REALLY great vitamins & things for sale in the shop (I love their weight loss and cleansing vitamins). Their rewards program is great, I love how instead of another card to fatten up my wallet, its all in their app - I've already gotten a free large smoothie and a couple of free boosts and I only get to go here about once a week because there aren't any locations that are really convenient for me, except for on one day of the week when I'm near this one. In particular, this shop rocks. Instead of wasting the little bit of smoothie that is almost always left over in the blender (like they do at every other smoothie place I've ever been to, even other Smoothie King locations) they will give it to you in a small sample cup or even a small cup if there's that much left. This makes me happy because I hate seeing perfectly good food wasted. The employees here are always very friendly and quick - this location is often quite busy and I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes to get my order. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a pain in this shopping plaza - there's too many popular stores in a relatively small space - but that is the only thing that I would change about this store. Please open a location in West Kendall - I would go there every single day!

I know the owners will probably delete this, but I will continue posting it wherever I can to warn customers about their food sanitation violations: Love SK, but was recently disappointed about a first time visit to this franchise at 14473 S. Dixie Highway. Myself and another customer witnessed a woman making smoothies, handling cash, and back to making smoothies without ever at any point washing her hands. At one point she even dropped change, picked it up off the dirty floor, and continued making smoothies. It was off-putting to say the least. The other customer and I exchanged knowing glances and he commented,"My wife would go crazy right now." I agreed, because food sanitation is important and I cannot understand why a company that used double filtered water would not want their staff washing their hands after handling cash. But everyone makes mistakes, and I am sure that she was just unaware. Nope. Some guy strolls in for the start of his shift, off the street, and begins making smoothies (also without washing his hands). At this point I realize, it is just common practice. I mean, who cares if he just used the bathroom before getting here, right? So I very calmly ask who the franchisee is, at which point they both fly around to face me and very defensively ask me what my problem was. "As a customer, I just wanted to bring it to their attention that I witnessed you both making smoothies and handling money and not once washing your hands. It does not make the smoothie very appetizing to me, and other customers were commenting on it as well." Well, turns out they were the owners and they both made it known to me that they will continue handling money and making smoothies and not washing their hands because it is common practice at ALL Smoothie King locations and they have been in this business for thirteen years and are not changing for me. (Did I mention they were both YELLING this in front of another patron?) They told me to "Get the hell out and don't ever come back here" and also told me "I don't give a s**t, contact corporate, contact the Food Inspector" (among other things... I am an affront to humanity, a loser...so on and so forth). So..... I just thought I would give you a heads up. Their highly erratic and defensive response to me was disappointing, though seeing their disregard for food safety- not surprising. I am pleased that I handled myself well, I was calm, polite and respectful and their off kilter reaction only did more to hurt them in the eyes of the other patrons who witnessed the exchange.

Awful experiences. Last time I was here the girl behind the counter added tip to my credit card transaction after I left a cash tip. When I called the manager he never got back to me. I called corporate and they were no help. I went back this week and it was disgusting, the same girl was there and she was on the floor and playing with another employee. Then proceeded to dig in her butt crack right before she was about to make my drink. She never washed her hands or put on gloves. I told her to forget about it. I will drive to another location for my smoothies. Can't trust a nasty establishment even if it is in a convenient location.

Love their Peanut Power Plus with Chocolate smoothie...only complaint is I wish they were friendlier...service seems a bit robotic.
