This was my first Thai food experience almost 20 years ago. It was love at first bite and still is just as wonderful. I usually order the panang curry or the volcano chicken and they are delicious. The pad thai and the whole fried snapper also great The best Thai donuts in Miami are here. We always have to order them. They are perfect little pillows of fried heaven with condensed milk to dip them into. These are about twice the size of the others around town.

Top ingredients, relaxed décor, fast service & pleasant staff make Siam Palace my favorite weekend Thai escape.

I've been coming here for a few years now and it never disappoints. The food is really good, the service is always warm, friendly and attentive. The dessert is equally good. They have the best fried ice cream in Miami, whereas most places seem to buy them pre-made, you can tell they make it themselves.

My fondness for sweet entries makes pai thai one of my favorite thai dish. something about the sweet tamarind just hits the spot whenever i order it. though i enjoyed the ambiance and the service at this restaurant, i didn't get the same flavor which i am accustomed to.

I have only been here once...but absolutely loved the food, and plan to come back! It's not very expensive at all. The egg rolls, spring rolls, and wonton appetizers were sooooo delicious. I also recommend the Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Fried Snapper, and the Thai style steak. The service was overall good, except for the inattentiveness of refiling our water and drinks.

The best Curry (panang) in the city. I've had thai from key west to Orlando to London to Copenhagen and this is hands down the best curry I've ever had. The service is always wonky but It's not terrible. The curry is phenomenal and deserves a lot of credit. Big lunch crowd.

OK - tried it twice. I really miss the authentic "feel" this place used to have - now it feels like an Asian Denny's; booths galore and poor acoustics (unless you like hearing the din of two dozen conversations). First time we were given a table right by the kitchen doors (yes, it was hot and smelled like oil and curry back there, not to mention the noise from the kitchen) and left alone for 15 minutes before leaving and having great food at a nearby Thai restaurant. The second time the food was average (curry was a bit watery, rice somewhat undercooked and toothsome). Service? The Rapture would likely arrive before or drinks were refilled or Sriracha was brought over (I've read that somewhere before!)! Check-in offer of free thai donuts? Just give me the check, please. Too many thai restaurants in this town that actually FEEL authentic and get it right. Not likely to be back. Sorry, Palace - tried twice, but not likely to go for a third.

Came here for dinner in a Friday night. As soon as we walked in we noticed the staff was completely different. I think the place is under new management or owners. We greeted at the door and sat down immediately. The waitress took about 10 minutes to take our drink and food orders. The food came out at average ticket time (within 12 minutes). We ordered the Cashew Chicken which was okay... But the Masaman Chicken Curry was absolutely delicious! We didn't know the dinners came with rice and were brought white rice. We overheard a waiter for the table next to us explain that and ask the customers if they would like white OR brown rice. I would have ordered brown rice if I knew I had an option. Our waitress came once to refill our Iced Tea and waters. She never came by to ask how our food was or if we needed anything (like the Siracha I had to ask another waiter for). We asked to take our leftover food to go... That took another eternity. The Curry was good but the service was just okay. I think it was just our server because the other waiters seemed much more helpful and attentive than the waitress we had.

One of the best in town. Generous portions. Great presentation. Very nice wait staff. Could do without the music but other than that this place rocks!

Food is excellent, I love the massaman curry here, my mom had the pineapple curry, it was good but not as good. However, the service was very slow, we were seated at 7:30, and it's now 9:20 and we are waiting for the check to be picked up.

Everytime I come here the food is delicious! The rolls are unique and they're all amazing. The basil red pepper stir fry is my favorite. I tried the pineapple delight this time and it was also really good. I was worried about it being too sweet but you don't taste the pineapple at all. And everytime I come here they offer free Thai donuts on yelp which are a delicious guilty pleasure overall love this place the staff are very nice and the atmosphere is really nice and the resturant is modern looking so you feel like you're eating at a fancy resturant

We found this little gem through Groupon...and what a find. I've loved Thai food for years, and have eaten at several restaurants throughout my travels. This is the best Thai food I've ever had. The dishes were very flavorful, and tasted so fresh. The Massaman curry was outstanding!! The atmosphere was low-key, and the staff very friendly. Check this place out- you won't be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite local Thai restaurants. I could never go wrong with this place. They deliver (a huge star in my book). Additionally, I have yet to be disappointed with anything I eat. Their pad Thai, shrimp in a blanket, Tom ka Kai soup, and papaya salad are enriched with great flavor, good portion sizes and always taste delicious. The venue smells a bit, but it's probably one of the best thai experiences I have near my house. Service is always great! If you've not been, you're missing out!

Finally found my sushi/thai delivery spot in Kendall! I've been here for 1+ year and I've tried multiple places, but I've never had food delivered so warm and tasty from a local Kendall spot! Everything we ordered was so fresh and you could definitely tell that the food had only left the wok or fryer only minutes earlier... the quality was as good as inside of the restaurant, which is often difficult to find with delivery. We ordered the pad thai with tofu and shrimp, JB roll and spring rolls. All simple dishes, but excellently done.

This is one of our local go-to sushi places, so of course we choose Siam Palace for delivery Thai food last week. We ordered through their website. This was confusing at first, but once I figured it out it was very easy. Siam Palace called to confirm our order, nice and unexpected follow up, and estimated 45 mins. Then we received another call 45 mins later that our food would be delayed, the delivery man encountered a "hard time" at another customer's home and it would 20 more mins. About 20 mins later, finally got our food. Delivery man nice. Our spring rolls were hot and fresh. My pad Thai wasn't as hot as it could be, but was good anyway. My husband's beef masaman was on point, only complaint is he ordered Thai hot and is was not. I think they fear giving the heat. All and all will use delivery again, with hopefully faster arrival.

Excellent Thai food and service. The owner is always eager to introduce new flavors but anything that has basil is phenomenal. The whole snapper can be steamed or fried, my preferred. Please make sure you try this little gem. You will not regret it.

Sorry but the food was really bad, the chicken padthai super dry with no taste and the combination fried rice the worst, dry, the meat you don't know what is, the shrimp 2 and 1 tale is not even close to a Thai food, a couples years ago was really nice but I don't recomend this restaurant.

Searching for a place to eat healthy and good? That's the one you are missing! Chicken and pork are fresh and tender and all the vegetables I ate were delicious! Waiters are gentle and kind and always at your disposal.

I've been going to this place for about 15 years. When they changed ownership, the food got surprisingly better, even when I thought it couldn't get better. Nice little spot with a great atmosphere and wonderful food.

went to Siam Palace for lunch one day with my husband, my kids and my best friend. What a great experience we had! The food was AAAAmazing!!!! The service was GGGGreat!!!!!!!! We had Chicken Satay & Spider roll as appetizer and it was so good. The test was perfect and the crunch on the spider roll was delicious!! My best friend have Siam Chicken and he LOVEEE it. My husband have Siam Duck and he could not stop saying how good it was. I had bento box that bring Chicken Teriyaki, Sahimi, sushi and salad. Its was sooooo good. My daughter love the chicken teriyaki, she ate all of it LOL At the end we have fried ice cream and O M G that was a real treat. As i am typing i am craving one right now.... Over all this restaurant is great, delicious and parking was not even a problem. If you want Thai food, go here.

I have been a loyal customer for many many years. Cynthia, the previous owner, sold the restaurant and it has not been the same since. The lunch special soup is watery, the sushi is not as fresh (this grossed me out last time), and the beef sauté (used to be my favorite) was gooey and could tell it was of lower quality meat with different seasoning. I gave this place a few tries under the new owner but am very disappointed. I wish things would go back to the way they were. Cynthia pleaseeeee come back!!!!

The food at Siam Palace is one of the BEST we've ever had. The owner Kumar made our experience memorable. You want the freshest, tastiest Thai food? Sushi Palace is the place for you. From the appetizers (beef and chicken satay) to the dessert (Thai donuts) and everything in between (including one of the best salmon ever!) our meal was de-li-cious!!

Best Thai place in town! Love everything on their menu.. Thecurries are so delicious and the sushi is always fresh and tasty. Love the Wakame salad and fried rice as well. We also order take-out quite often and every order is always pwrfevt. What a hidden gem!!

Have been going to this restaurant for as long as I can remember and it's amazing!! It's been a favorite of my family and I for years and I would not go to any other Thai restaurant in the city. It's family owned ambiance gives it a great welcoming feeling, with familiar servers and the same great taste it's always had. My favorite plate is the Masaman Curry, and I would recommend it to anyone, whether they're curry fans or not. The Thai steak is transcendental. The soups are delicious and their additions of sushi are unique and quite tasteful.

Previously ordered for pickup. Upon arriving they had a special if you check in for a free order of Thai donuts. Nothing on the offer stated it must be dine in. The manager/owner (not 100% on who he was) proceeded to argue with me that it was for dine in only. I explained to him that he was not honoring the deal listed and I would not be returning again; immediately he tried to give me the free doughnuts in which I declined. Today my girlfriend wanted to give them a second chance and placed an order for delivery online. Usually she said they call to confirm the order. 15-20 minutes went by with no response. She then called to confirm they received the order and they told her that they didnt have a delivery driver so we cancelled the order. They attempted to make it up by calling us back to advise us that they would send an employee with the order and it would an additional 40 min. This is the first time I wrote a review. I don't like to talk bad about an establishment but this time around I couldn't let it go unnoticed. We used to order from here all the time and it seems as of recent it has declined. I believe they are under new management. It's a shame because I really liked the food.

This food here is consistently awesome. It's a small family-type restaurant. Although they do serve sushi, the main reason to come here is the Thai food, which you can request as spicy as you like. My faves are any of the duck dishes and the panang chicken curry. The sauces are absolutely delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with anything off their Thai menu. Tip: Try to get here early because they close on the early side & start packing it up early...You don't want to be the straggler. If you can't get there early, you can order your food to go. It's one of the few restaurants that I recommend taking it because the flavor & quality of the dishes are not compromised.

Horrible. Had diarreah within minutes of eating here Walked in at 4:51 door was open and everyone looking at me strange apparently it opens at 5. Server said to wait a few minutes and when she did take my order sometime later she didn't look at me at all Chicken satay was orange gross and vegetables had no color. My 4 ur old nephew max could have pulled this off better than these fuckers

Came here on a recommendation from a coworker. Didn't really trust his word entirely so I checked it out on Yelp first to authenticate his claim of it being a great restaurant. Turns out he's right! Siam Palace is an excellent choice for Thai cuisine. I walked in and was happily greeted and taken to a table right away. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and had a nice atmosphere. Except the music selection. Top 40 radio. I guess they understand their demographic seeing as two different tables had someone singing along the entire time. I was excited to see the northern style papaya salad on the menu so I ordered that to start and the Siam Duck to follow. My past encounters with papaya salads brought the heat. Spicy as cuss. This one was not even mildly spicy. In fact, there was no spice at all. Now I'm confused about which way is right (or traditional, at least.) Sure, I can Google the answer, but then I can't pose the question here on my review! First world problems ftw! Anyhow, the salad was large and flavorful and had three large shrimp. The Siam duck was a nice dish but I won't order it again. It was too...normal..? I don't know how to describe it. Every place has a duck dish named after their restaurant and they are all the same. Siam Duck, Royal Duck, El Rey de los Duck - it's the same dish. However, if you order something like a masaman curry, you will get a variation of spices and no two restaurants taste the same. It's strange that I didn't order their masaman since that is usually what I'm craving when I want Thai food. Next time, eh? Service was a tad slow but everything was prepared well and tasted great so it was excused. There is a sushi bar here but I will not be trying it. I don't get why so many Thai restaurants also serve sushi. I enjoyed my visit and will be back.

Hands down best Thai food in town! Massaman Curry chicken is amazing and the avocado adds so much flavor. Not only was our dinner amazing but the owner was so nice and gave us free Thai donuts - yummmmm!! Will be back soon!

So I am upgrading to 5 stars because thus far I have not been disappointed. After a long day of shopping with my husband we decided on a quick dinner that would be satisfying to the both us. So we stopped here since we both sushi. First of all as soon as we walked in the employees recognized us as their local favorites. Giving us the star treatment. The ambiance tonight was inviting and the smiles were warm. Like every other time we've been here the food was exceptional. I wanted nothing more than to enjoy some chilled wine so I ordered a quartino for just a bit more than a glass and boy was I surprised. For only $4 more I enjoyed what seemed to be a never ending glass of wine. The tuna tartare appetizer was delicious and came out with my wine. Which was just at the perfect time before the entree where you don't feel like you have to rush to eat. Then came the main event, the Red lobster roll! My favorite roll offered here!! I can't say enough of how delectable this roll is. So satisfying to any sushi lover. All the best flavors blended together. I love, love love it. My husband had the pad Thai, which I couldn't stop putting my fork in. All in all, great food, great service, good prices. Leading to an amazing night. For sure will be back as always.

This place used to be a wonderful, authentic neighborhood Thai restaurant with attentive, personal service. Ever since the current ownership took over, the service is horrible. Last time we went, we sat for an inordinate amount of time before even being offered a glass of water. The waitress had a surly expression and her attitude was halfway between neglectful and dismissive. There was excessive wait times for everything: before taking drink orders, before ordering food, before the food arrived, before having our drinks topped off, before the check, etc. We ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer, and our actual main course arrived before the sushi roll. The manager's excuse is that the sushi chef was backed up with delivery orders. We were sitting at a table mind you, and nobody told us about this problem when we ordered. They just popped our curries down and it was basically, "oh, you had ordered sushi, yeah, they're backed up, too bad." So it was either eat cold curry or forego our sushi roll. Absolutely unbelievable. You would assume that the waitstaff would try harder having blundered so in the service of our order, but they couldn't care less. They neglected us and when they did attend to us, their facial expression was that of a person smelling something foul. We spoke to the manager about our bad time, and he quickly offered free Thai donuts which we declined. But he didn't take the time to understand the customer service failure we had experienced. Instead, he just wanted to buy us off with fried dough. The distinct impression that I got from the manager/owner was that he's just here running a business and customers are a necessary evil to his making money. I absolutely never felt this way about the place under the prior management. We were regular customers (twice a month), and we were treated by the prior owner with respect, attentiveness, hospitality, and welcome, and we tipped accordingly. Other customers were likewise treated well, whether they were regulars or first timers. We saw this with our own eyes. It makes me sad that this place was sold, and now it's just another "business opportunity" grinding through customers. Paradise, lost.

Love the food!! It's fresh and extremely flavorful. There is a great variety of dishes for all preferences! The staff is amazing, our glasses were never empty and the owner came over to personally make sure we were enjoying everything! I recommend this place to all food lovers!!

Awesome service, the food was so delicious! Seriously the best Thai food I've ever had! They also had the best hot jasmine tea I've ever tried. The staff was super nice. Very attentive and polite. The restaurant itself is very well kept and the ambiance is great. I'm definitely coming back.

Visited my favorite Thai restaurant in the MIA today for the first time in a while, and I'm happy to say it is just as good as ever.... All your classic Thai favorites can be found here, and they do it all so well.... I'm a duck fan, so I went with my go-to, the Siam Duck. New owner Kuma brought it out personally, and it did not disappoint! Cashews and peppers surrounding the crispy & moist duck were prepared to perfection, had me sayin' AROYYYYYYY BABY! He also somehow found out it was wifey's bday, and surprised us with some bad-ass fried ice cream on the house! I've been coming here for many years, and it always gets better - but the service we had today was over the top. 5 stars all the way!

Finally found a great Thai food restaurant in Miami! The food was great and service was even better- nice restaurant spot and plenty of options on the menu for good Thai dishes. Even the Thai tea was perfect! Tucked in its own neighborhood, this spot is well worth the drive for the best Thai flavored in town...Will go back for sure and definitely recommend getting the panang curry and tom kha gai!

  • Eileen I.

Cashew chicken smelled bad. We also paid $20.00 for a steak was very small thinly sliced not worth it. The sauce that came with the steak was not something you put on steak. Lady Serving us wasn't very good. Never going there again what a waste of $80.00.

    (1)
  • Cary B.

Good service, nice presentation. Pad Thai tasted good, nice flavor but noodles overcooked. Pineapple curry was tasty and presented well. Plum wine tasted more like brandy, not bad but not a regular tasting plum wine. vegetable gyoza were decent but should have been served hotter. We will try it again, but it did not wow us 1st try. It was on July 4th so maybe staff was short.

Been coming here since the 90's and have seen them grow and transform. This is my comfort food! The Service is matched by the fresh and delicious dishes. Their red curry chicken is my staple but we've had just about everything - you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The fried rice is the best in the hood. Save room for the thai donuts!

I just had my first and last experience here on 8.26.14 my servers name was Aree. She scowled the entire time, never introduced herself & never checked up on me. The other waitress was kind enough to refill my water and ask if we wanted more food after waiting for 10mins trying to get Aree's attention. (The place had three other tables occupied) I was in a pleasant mood before I walked in, but I left with such a bad customer service experience that put me in a foul mood. though the sushi rolls we ordered were great: 305 roll & rainbow roll

Have tried both the Japanese and Thai menu items and have not been disappointed with anything thus far. The sushi tastes fresh and the curries are always flavorful. The one ding I would give them is that they one forgot a menu item and had to drive back to go get it. Have not eaten in the restaurant, but it has become a staple for picking up and enjoying at home.

We found this little place n yelp not long ago. Since finding it, it has become our favorite restaurant. I can't get enough of them. The chicken satay and beef pad Thai is a huge favorite for us. My fiancé likes to order it "Thai hot" which means plenty of cool water on the table because this is really spicy! He loves it though and I get a chuckle watching him eat it. The staff always remembers us and has no problem with us bringing our two small children with us. They talk, play, and even make special dishes just for them. They are well priced and give good portions. They also have sushi, but it's not our thing. Give them a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.

  • Zee D.

I have been going there for years. Surprisingly I only go when my favorite waitress is there the others are not polite and have a bitter attitude. The curries are good and vegetarian dishes. The Tom Kai Kai soup is too sour. Decent Thai food.

  • Janio V.

I have to admit the pineapple curry and Panang curry are the best dishes in this restaurant . I believe they have the top curry plates in all of South Florida. I eat at a lot of Thai places by the way. I don't go as often as before since I don't work too close from this exact restaurant anymore. This is disappointing but now I eat at another Thai restaurant named Sea Siam which is definitely not bad either. - Jay

I have been to this restaurant only during lunch since it's down the street from my job. I have to give it only 3 stars because the service has never been good. I am of opinion that service is as important as food. The servers are never friendly and I feel like it is a chore when I ask them for something (all within reason). The food is good but not outstanding. Lunch specials are reasonable and worth it.

  • Chris M.

Hole in the wall restaurant offers tasty food and good service. For starters, the Spring Rolls and Chicken Fried Wonton were crispy and savory. The Plum dipping sauce is a must. The Thai Steak was ok. It's flavor was a little too tangy for my taste. The Pork Fried Rice was fantastic. The rice was cooked to perfection and featured big, juicy pieces of pork. And then we had the Thai Donuts. Oh My God. I could eat these all days if they weren't guaranteed to induce early-onset diabetes. Would definitely return to try different dishes.

I only had a papaya salad and green tea. I asked for squid rather shrimp in the salad and that was fine. The salad was delicious and the tea organic. My only complaint was my waitress was cold to the point of rude, never once making eye contact with me. I don't need servers to be warm and fuzzy but I expect simple courtesy.

I used to work the front desk at the salon next door to this place so I've ordered lots of food from here in the past. I can't believe I never wrote a review! I've had so many items from the menu here, I can't even name them all. I've tried several different sushi rolls, soups, thai dishes & desserts. I've also had lots and lots of their delicious Thai tea! The food always tastes very fresh and the flavors are always spot on. I've never had something I didn't like from Siam Palace. The staff has always been really friendly with me whether it be over the phone when placing an order or when I actually sit in for dinner. Even the sushi chefs wave goodbye to me as I'm walking out the door. The place always looks very clean and the tables are always kept clear & swept. The food wait time is pretty minimal, I've never had to wait too long for my food. Overall, this is a great restaurant and I recommend this place to my friends all the time. I definitely will be back!

I truly wish that I dined here more often than I actually do. My daughter isn't a fan of this type of cuisine & haven't been out on a date lately with a woman that is worthy of being taken here. I'm as serious as a heart attack!! Nonetheless, the food is spot on, fresh and quite tasty. Their level of authenticity is uncanny. The portions are plentiful and everything comes out piping hot. The special fried rice is in a league of its own. Another home run is a stir fry shrimp dish whose name escapes me. It contains all types of vegetables & jumbo shrimp stir fried in a light garlicky sauce that is heaven to the tongue. A true gastronomic delight!!! The place is small & cozy and very conducive for a romantic evening out. I highly recommend this place for a very reasonably priced authentic Thai meal.

  • Claudia J.

AS GOOD as it GETS!!! And it's great!!! I just sounded like the tiger from the frosted flakes cereal... lol!! We just had a birthday party at this place, we had spoken to Cynthia (owner) several days before to plan ahead. She was flexible and very helpful in suggesting how many entrees and appetizers to order. Not the kind of trying to "sell you more"... great owners take care of their customers!! Special requests were taken and exceeded our expectations! Definitely a keeper for Thai food!!!

  • Karla S.

Thinking my husband was in the mood for Thai, I suggested we try this out. Well, we wound up just having sushi. I do not recommend coming here for Sushi. the rice was a bit hard, and our food took an eternity to come out. I wish I could judge them more on Thai food, however, if it's on you menu -- it has to be good. All of it!

You know, as I've tried to check in here to be the Duke, of Siam Palace, it continually said there was an error! I thought an error in what, an error in me coming here, or do I not have Royal blood. This place has got to be the cleanest of all Thai restaurants. Always a good sign. Siam Palace, although doesn't have the most original of menus and very little authentic Thai food, it is good for the Falung (an American). I ordered the Hot and Sour soup and Shrimp Red Curry w/brown rice. Actually a very good choice. It was excellent. The hot and sour soup also very good. Service was A+, so there was nothing to cry about, except a more authentic menu.

I'm very basic. Food was fresh & delish. Service was average. We went for lunch ordered the Siam Duck, Shrimp fried rice, & also one other shrimp dish. All about $10 a piece. Ment to be each dish for one person...if you order the duck you will be hungry. 4 -small but very tasty pieces of duck. Between the two other entrees I counted 6 shrimp tails. So shrimp fried rice brings 3, & whatever else you order will bring three....was not happy about that. But happy with the taste overall. Will not be back again as we have gone to better for the same money.

I've had Thai food from all over South Florida and this place easily bests them all. They are a little hole in the wall off Sunset drive and if you didn't know any better, would drive right by without even realizing. That would be a damn shame though because their food is awesome! The Siam chicken is the best volcano style chicken you can find and might just be a contender for my last meal God forbid! The fried rice is top notch and the red curry is perfection! The other thing is that the service has always been great when dining in. They genuinely care how your experience is. I'm glad I found this place many years ago, and don't mind going out of my way to dine here when the craving strikes!

I gave it 3 stars because it's nothing out of this world it is just that though, a good restaurant. The 3 stars is more of an attribute to the basic venue. Very clean inside, a couple of TV's so you dont miss out on the game, and a very professional staff. Don't read too much into the starring, I really like this place I am a big fan of asian cuisine and their menu is HUGE so many options that it should really be a negative. I am a BIG fan of their Lobster Roll, their pad thai is very good too. I haven't received anything that I've ordered that I didnt enjoy. The sushi, Pad-Thai, Gyoza, Beef Satay, and Dumplings are all great in my book. Happy dining!

This is a great lunch spot. I had the chicken teriyaki bento box that came with a dragon roll and sashimi. Did I mention that this is a Thai and sushi place? Best of both worlds. My colleague got the basil chicken, which he said was great. the ambiance, service, and food were great. I'd definitely return.

Yummmmm, this place is fantastic!! I've been coming here since I was a kid and the food is always on point, the ambiance is great and the servers are very nice and efficient! My husband and I love the 305 sushi roll, the Masaman Curry, Pad Thai and the Thai doughnuts! Delicious!! We used to order for delivery all the time but the delivery charge went up :( it's a shame!

I love this place! My family and I are regulars. I've been going to Siam palace for about 12 years and they have never disappointed. I have yet to find something I don't like on the menu. The owner, Cynthia, is always sweet and very attentive as well as Andrew, our favorite waiter.

I need my pad Thai fix. ASAP. I decided to have lunch here with a girlfriend and though she went for the sushi, I went for my beloved pad Thai. We were the first ones of the lunch stampede of people (yeah, this place gets filled for lunch!) and were given great attention throughout our meal. I wasn't aware that they throw in a vegetable broth before your meal so that was very pleasant surprise and great if you're counting calories. Their pad Thai wasn't spicy- it was just flavorful! I even had some to take home to the boyfriend which means lunch portions are pretty nice. I'm extremely satisfied with my meal, service and cleanliness of the place. Hell, even the decor was really nice! I'm definitely coming back!

For right now, Ill give this place 3 stars I've tried this place a couple of times, but my most recent time I decided to give the duck a try. When you walk in, you can see just how nice the place is. This is a real nice place to bring a date. The mood seems real nice and romantic. The hostess was real nice, but the staff were alright. The thai beef satay is great. It's standard beef satay, where they bring it to you slightly cooked and you can develop the char on the beef yourself on the tiny flame grill. The meat was real tender, but portions are never that great anywhere. I ordered the duck basil for dinner ($17) and I thought it tasted pretty good. There was a lot of vegetables compared to the portion of duck given (I think it's half a duck). The price is standard for duck, but it could have been better. Overall, the place is pretty good and definitely a nice place for a date. It looks real clean, but dinner prices are kind of steep. I would venture out here for lunch where prices are pretty much cut in half.

My girlfriend and I were originally going to Thani but it was closed - 9pm on a Sunday night. So we decided to go to Siam palace. To start, the decorations were great, elegant, modern and clean! The food was excellent! There was a lot of variety on the menu. The service was top of the line! It's refreshing to have such a great, affordable dining selection near home. I certainly recommend this place for any occasion.

Excellent authentic food! Well priced and quick service. I would go here all the time as there is a good mix between Thai and different types of sushi. Other than the owner (who is great) the customer service is average at best. The server just walked away after answering a question. Other than that it is really clean and delicious food!

BEST THAI IN TOWN!!!!! This was the 1st Thai place I'd ever been to and man, I had no idea the kind of food I was missing out on! I've been to a ton of other thai restaurants, but nothing compares to Siam Palace. They have great quality food and are always consistently good! They have amazing sushi and even better thai plates. I highly recommend the "White fish in the garden" and the "Siam Chicken". Every time I go, it takes me a while to figure out what I want to eat because everything on their menu sounds and tastes so good.

Been coming to this place for over a decade. It's me and my fiancée go-to-spot. We always order either the shrimp in tamarind sauce or the pad thai. Food is great, portions are generous for sharing, and the customer service is superb. Cynthia, the owner, is so friendly and she remembers all of her customer's names. And not to mention, they have the BEST Thai donuts in Miami. I've tried a lot of Thai donuts and these are hands down the best. Crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside... It's faaaantastic!!!

Every Thai restaurant I go to inevitably falls short in comparison. I always have a complete experience at SP. Start with a nice cold Singha beer and the sampler appetizer. The star of the appetizer is the curry puff-light, fluffy and flavorful. The seafood soup is the star on the menu. I think it's a Tom Yum soup and it's loaded with shrimp, scallops and squid. The rich broth explodes with chili and lime flavors. It's spicy and like other things on the menu you have to tell them how hot you want it-1 to 5 or native hot. I made the "native hot" mistake on my first visit over 15 years ago. Go medium hot and ask for hot oil or red pepper on the side if you need a little more. I next had the Volano shrimp. This is a generous portion perfectly cooked with veggies. The sauce comes on the side but I have it poured on top. This loosens up the sauce and allows it to cook into the shrimp. Poured on top of rice it is really a great experience. I then helped myself to some of my wife's squid in garlic and pepper. This i highly recommend to those with a lower tolerance for spicy foods. SP also offers a sushi menu which is where my kids usually order from. The quality is top notch.

COMPLETE GOLD MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my favorite place to order asian food from except for the sushi which needs some work. Everything else is AMAZING. If you order online you get 10% off. The people from my office down the street and I go to this restaraunt quite often bc of how great it is. I took my coworker here a few weeks ago for her birthday on our lunch hour and they were super prompt even though they were slammed with tons of customers. The ambiance is on point and the service was also attentive. They certainly have me as a commited regular and I strongly recommend it to everyone. I can't get enough of their pad si ew and pad kee mow!

So I went AGAIN this week. This time I found that you can order online! If you go and pick up the food, there is a 10% discount from orders made online. Also, I got to talking with the hostess and I learned she just started working there. This made me think about when I first visted and realized it was her first week....so disregard my comment about the slow service. She was also friendly and interested in what I do for a living. About the food... I ordered the spicy crab roll and the thai salad with peanut dressing (they have both Japanese and Thai menus). YUM! I'm glad I decided to try something new because it was also good. I look forward to my future visits!

Man was I blown away! I love Thai food, I have been pretty impressed with the selection of Thai food in Florida, especially considering the Chines food scene her is abysmal. My wife and I came here last night, both simply craving curry. We ordered the CHICKEN PANANG CURRY and the CHICKEN MASAMAN CURRY, and these were probably the two best curry dishes I've ever had in my life (in Thai cuisine). While they were both amazing, we both actually preferred different ones. My wife preferred the panang dish, but I actually preferred the masaman curry. The inclusion of avocado and cashews together made the flavor very unique and surprising! While we've only had the 2 dishes here, I can tell that they use very high quality ingredients and they obviously have a great sense of flavor. I'm excited to come back and explore the rest of their menu (like some noodles and apps) which I am sure is just as fantastic!

Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Asian food in general. I've been on somewhat of a "hunt" lately for some decent eats. A friend of mine had suggested we go, her not even liking Asian food said it was great. So we arrive, aesthetically speaking it's a lot nicer than I expected. The hostess seemed more interested in American Idol that was playing on the mounted flat screen, which didn't bother me because I too am an avid watcher. Look...don't judge me. So we are greeted by a cold waitress that seemed annoyed by me. Well, I'm just assuming it's a cultural thing, because she later warmed up in her own way....The prices were fine, nothing out of this world. I liked that they specified a smaller menu pointing out what guests like the most. Helpful, since I had never been there. On that menu however, I found very attractive prices - which made my selection pretty easy. My friend and I ordered two rolls, Crab and Sumo. I'm used to going to fancy places where the rolls are expensive, small and leave you wanting more...this was not the case. The rolls are humungous...you should know this. And nobody likes eating left-over sushi, so order small. The Crab roll was delightful. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Sumo was great but I still favored the Crab. I also liked that this lady who I am assuming is either the owner or manager who came by a few times to see how our meal was going. She was pleasant and personable, far cry from our hardcore waitress with daggers coming out of her eyes. I liked the personal touch, made me feel like this lady actually cares how our experience was. Gave us some tip's on warming up my friend's Pad Thai that we couldn't get to. Tried it by the way, didn't sceam special...but then it's not really a favorite of mine to begin with. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the manager/owner whatever, coming over and taking such interest in our meal, and the food surpassing my expectations. I am anxious to go back and explore the menu.

I really love this place. Eat in, take out, delivery - whatever it is it never disappoints. The owner/hostess/big boss lady Cynthia, is so sweet and attentive. You can tell she runs a tight ship and it definitely shows in the quality of the food, the way the employees conduct themselves and the way the place looks. I love their clear noodles, pad Thai, and their rolls - they have so many different kinds all with really cool names and interesting fillings. A great place to bring a big group since their menu is extensive and can accommodate even the pickiest pain in the ass eaters.

Pad Thai was terrible. Tasted like peanut butter and as if it was coated with some sort of powder. The spring rolls were ok.

  • Allison J.

Atmosphere was nice. Service was decent considering a very busy lunch hour and what seemed to be an understaffed Friday lunch hour. Do NOT be lazy and order the pad thai bento box. There has got to be better stuff on the menu. The pad thai was bland and lacked color and flavor. I could have used more lime but the waitress was too busy to be stopped. Because the atmosphere was nice, I'd give this place a try again. But.... I'd ask the server what they recommend.

  • Philip B.

This place is always a good choice for a decent meal as I've never had any problems with the food. My main issue is the price. I think it's a little too overpriced. They used to have the restaurant without the sushi bar and then installed that about 1-2 years ago. I liked the restaurant better when it was without the sushi bar. Now, it just seems as if they are trying too hard. Last night, I asked for soy sauce and was given bad, bitter soy sauce. It was absolutely terrible. No excuse for that. Don't get me wrong, the sushi is definitely not bad, but I'd rather go just up the road to Shibui and get the sushi there. For Thai, there is better and cheaper not too far away. My suggestion is to save your money and go there and get more for your money.

Pad Thai is not as good as I expected. Chicken Terriaki is great and so are the Thai Donuts! Don't order pad Thai unless you like the taste of peanuts - too much peanut taste and very greasy.

  • Vero P.

I will NEVER return to this establishment. The service was the worst service I have ever experienced. My family had to ask three times for glasses of water and I waited for 25mins for a Thai tea. This is unacceptable. The sushi orders were brought out long after the Thai entrees had been consumed (the sushi was equally as terrible as the service). The food was mediocre at best. The best part of my meal was the Thai tea I drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would recommend staying clear of dinner plans here. A small restaurant should, at minimum, reasonably accommodate serving a party with glasses of water promptly. The terrible service snowballed from there. Save your money and go to McDonald's. I promise the service will be better.

I went here after reading a bunch of reviews since it's by my work. I got some carry out for lunch and was less than impressed. I ordered the pad Thai to test the waters and it was waaaaayyyyy too sweet! I ended up not eating much of it because the sweetness was so over powering, Additionally, the tofu was rather inconsistent in texture. Some pieces were soggy and others slightly burned. I prefer other Thai places in the area. This place is more expensive and other places have more authentic, better tasting Thai.

My husband and I decided to try this place a couple of weeks ago because of the rave reviews and we were not let down, by the food, at all! I ordered the sushi/pad thai lunch combo and he ordered the garlic pepper chicken. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavor, even the soups and salads were plated beautifully and packed with tons of fresh ingredients. The major let down here was service! It got to the point where the dining experience felt more like a buffet line at sizzler. We got up at least 4 times to either get chop sticks, soy dishes, and even to fill our own water! However, the food was so good I could not bare to give it the 3 stars I feel it deserved.

I've had take out from here many times in the past and the food has always been very good. It has been many years since I've actually dined in, so my friend and I decided to do that last night. I wouldn't recommend dressing too casual because the great majority of customers were pretty dressed up. The wait was very minimal for a Saturday night even though the restaurant was pretty packed. So we were off to a good start. But that is where it ends. The wait staff, manager, and owner (?) were absolutely horrible with their service and extremely condescending. I'm not really sure why. I have absolutely no explanation. We ordered chicken Pad Thai, Siam Chicken, BBQ beef satay, two Thai salads, and lemonade. It didn't take too long to get our food and the food tasted pretty good. The bill came out too $50.42. If we would have ordered for take out, I would have rated this place four stars. But because of all the workers that we came in contact with all had no personalities, were condescending, and had "I'm doing you a favor by letting you eat here" attitudes, I can't give more than two stars.

My parents have been going to Siam Palace since before I was born. I was raised in this restaurant, and blame them for my high expectations at other Thai restaurants. Choose any dish on he menu, and it's absolutely mouthwatering delicious. As a child, I always used to get the beef satay. So much fun to cook the skewers, and a great way to keep little kids entertained. My current favorite dishes are the pad thai and the massaman curry. I think these dishes are too good for words and deserve to be tasted to understand how amazing they are. I hate that I live about an hour north now because all the Thai restaurants close to me are nothing compared to Siam Palace. The owner, Cynthia, is also extremely friendly. She'll sometimes visit guests at their tables and it's always a pleasure to talk to her.

Decided to check out Siam Palace for lunch with a couple of coworkers. This review is for their sushi menu & service. To me, the place is just okay. Service was disappointing at best. The waitress was rude when I told her my fountain drink tasted funny. The only soft drink they had canned was orange fanta! For appetizer, I ordered some Tuna Tataki that probably would've tasted fresh three days before I ate it. I had a sushi roll that was also just okay. Then, they took forever to bring the check..so again, service at lunch might not be their forte. I probably won't be back.

My boyfriend and I had our first date at Siam Palace. But that's not why we keep going back. The food is why. The food is to die for! The servers are very helpful and attentive. I had never tried Thai cuisine before this place and now I can't get enough of it!!

sadly, i had to knock one star off. had a family dinner there tonight and was a little let down to find no mee grob on the menu. they took it off bc they were having trouble making it.. the watiress said its been off the menu for a long time already. :( anyways the service was ok, our servers english was really not that good which made us understanding eachother difficult. my volcano shrimp was just alright but my brothers massaman shrimp was amazing!! but of all the thai restaurants i can think of cleaniless here is top notch always. no funky smells, crusty silverware, or dust on the decor. its a pleasure to be in the environment!!

Great thai food. We've ordered the Panang chicken curry, thai hot chicken pad thai, and their fried rice- delish! Their portions are also pretty fair. We always have enough left over for to pack up and take as lunch the following day. Their service isn't the best, but the food's well worth it. Their sushi is just ok. I'd recommend passing on it- unless you just really have to have some. But, don't say I didnt warn you. It's not that it's terrible, it's just not all that good.

Ok Thai. A little expensive and fancy for my taste. My parents swear by the tamarind chicken. I typically go for a vegetarian dish such as the cashew tofu or the red curry vegetables. The peanut and sweet chili/ cucumber sauces are delicious. They now have sushi and local delivery. No brown rice which is a downer. Three to four imported beers and sake.

Thai/Sushi places are really common in Miami and are something we do not have in San Francisco, at least not to my knowledge. I was curious so I made sure to order something that sampled from both sides of the menu. I order a bento box of sushi/sashimi with pad thai. The five stars is for the extremely fresh and high quality fish. Beautiful colors and melts in your mouth. AND it was a huge meal for only like $11. I wish we could get such high quality food for such a good price in San Francisco.

This is where I was introduced to the magic of Thai food. 20 years later I'm still hooked. And, I'm now planning my honeymoon to Thailand just for the ultimate food experience. Nevertheless, I am a sure my trip will not affect my love for Siam Palace. If I didn't live far away I would eat the crispy duck in red curry everyday! Seriously, I have to force myself to order other dishes because it's all so good. The service and atmosphere is also wonderful. The serene and attractive wait staff provide a little taste of southeast Asia. Take a group of friends and share the generous portions. Leave room for the piping hot Thai donuts.

Was feening for some Thai food and of course wanted something close to home. Checked Yelp as always for a good recommendation and you guys came through. Liked the decor and ambiance. Had a steady flow of people. Decided to have the masaman curry and OMG was it good!!! Not even good, good is weak. It was delicious! I ordered it medium cause I like some heat to my dishes and was not disappointed. You could taste the curry, coconut milk and all the different flavors. The avocado was devastatingly fresh and just the right texture. I'm a sucker for cashews so that was the coup de grace. Serving size was not stingy; took leftovers home. And boy was I sad when I finished it. I wanted to just drink the curry sauce. Loooove this place. So glad to have decided to try it.

In town for a conference and was in the mood for Thai and found Siam Palace on Yelp. I was a little worried after reading Janelle's review but am so glad that we decided to go there for dinner. There was a 15 minute wait but was able to sit at the sushi bar right away. Bird and Sam, took good care of us with fresh sashimi and great sake recommendations. Ordered the basil duck and massaman curry with pork. The duck was tasty but a little saucy for my taste and the duck would have been more crispy. The massaman pork was absolutely delicious. The staff was wonderful and friendly. If you have a chance, have a seat at the sushi counter because Sam and Bird are two wonderful sushi chefs. We will definitely go back there again on our next trip back and highly recommend this restaurant.

First off I am not really a Thai food fan in general. I thought I'd let readers know that up front. However, I did have the pleasure of dining here the other night and loved it. The wait staff was exceptionally friend and the dishes were very tasty. Its not quite a hole in the wall type of place, but you do have to actively look for it. I am still not a Thai food fan, but I would eat her again. If I were to become a Thai food fan, it would be due to this place for sure!

This is authentic Thai cuisine. It is fresh and delicious, service is attentive and courteous, and the environment is lovely. It has received many accolades from CitySearch, Miami New Times and of course, Zagat. It is probably one of the best Thai restaurants in Miami. You will not be disappointed. Love it!!!

I was a little disappointed in the Thai food. I tried the papaya salad and the fried red snapper. The food was good but it didn't have the spices to give it the kick that I normally expect with Thai food.

We came for lunch after hearing some excellent reviews from friends who had gone to eat at the restaurant. The seating arrangements of a restaurant are very important because they tell the story about how organized and conceptually thought out the business is. Too many tables with disregard for customer comfort is not customer friendly. The ratio of seating to walking space was perfect. We sat down and got our drinks quick, and the service was friendly. The Thai Ice tea is a relatively easy drink to make but too many times when I have ordered at the restaurant the drink is over filled with ice and less of the drink. After 3 - 4 big slurps and your done. Not here, you actually something to drink and it's chilled. Appetizers menu had a good variety. The Skewers were delicious. Chicken or beef, your choice. Spring rolls were a nice starter also. You can tell these were not pre made the night before but possible made to order - quality was excellent. Main courses: We opted to order a few and share amongst or party of 4 so we got to sample quite a bit. Pang Curry with Chicken was flavorful with heat. You can dial up or down the heat to your order. The aroma was so intoxicatingly good. Basil Duck was EXCEPTIONALLY Delicious. This dish I would come back to Siam Palace for SPECIFICALLY. I only got 3 bits out of this - clearly the table favorite. Sumo Roll and KB Roll were definitely quality Siam Place as a legit Sushi Place. They have Sushi chefs that know what they are doing and the ingredients were A++. So if you are not in the mood for Thai, you won't be disappointed with the large Sushi Menu. Deep Fried Rice was an excellent complaint to the flavors and textures that we were having. Papaya Salad was delicious. We dialed down the heat on this one but I have had this Authentically HOT - really good. Soo much flavor and healthy. Dessert: I usually don't eat dessert, mainly because of not having any room after entrees/apps. But after seeing a few desserts come out from the kitchen, our table decided to try some. We went the the Chef Choice selection because we could not decide and we were not disappointed. Deep fried Ice Cream dried with Chocolate was pleasant contrast between heat and cold with sweet aromatic flavors. Also sampled the Deep Fried Cheesecake. Love Cheese cake in principle, but when you combine that with Deep Fry - Flavor explosion of goodness. The Thai doughnuts we tried also since they were complimentary with the Yelp Check-in - so good!!! The only suggestion I had for the Chef/Owner was to have more deserts that have real fruit / natural options. But the choices I had were very good splurge for someone like myself who generally does not eat dessert. I was not disappointed. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner with the family or a date. The best Curry (panang) in the city. I've had thai from key west to Orlando to London to Copenhagen and this is hands down the best curry I've ever had. The service is always wonky but It's not terrible. The curry is phenomenal and deserves a lot of credit. Big lunch crowd.

Searching for a place to eat healthy and good? That's the one you are missing! Chicken and pork are fresh and tender and all the vegetables I ate were delicious! Waiters are gentle and kind and always at your disposal.

Sorry but the food was really bad, the chicken padthai super dry with no taste and the combination fried rice the worst, dry, the meat you don't know what is, the shrimp 2 and 1 tale is not even close to a Thai food, a couples years ago was really nice but I don't recomend this restaurant.

Best Thai place in town! Love everything on their menu.. Thecurries are so delicious and the sushi is always fresh and tasty. Love the Wakame salad and fried rice as well. We also order take-out quite often and every order is always pwrfevt. What a hidden gem!!

Cashew chicken smelled bad. We also paid $20.00 for a steak was very small thinly sliced not worth it. The sauce that came with the steak was not something you put on steak. Lady Serving us wasn't very good. Never going there again what a waste of $80.00.

  • Elsie C.

  • David A.

I'm excited to come back and explore the rest of their menu (like some noodles and apps) which I am sure is just as fantastic!

sadly, i had to knock one star off. had a family dinner there tonight and was a little let down to find no mee grob on the menu. they took it off bc they were having trouble making it.. the watiress said its been off the menu for a long time already.

  • Nicole D.

Pad Thai is not as good as I expected. Chicken Terriaki is great and so are the Thai Donuts! Don't order pad Thai unless you like the taste of peanuts - too much peanut taste and very greasy.

Love the location, food, and service! Best dragon roll IMO.
