The food is always pretty decent, but the reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because of the service. The service is somewhat slow and they have messed up my order on more than one occasion. One time I went through the drive-thru and they told me that they ran out of chicken.

Looking for cheap, fast service and health food you can't go wrong at Polo Topical. Their grill chicken is the best!

The word for this location is patience. The reality is that this location is always slammed because PT is a very popular choice for the corporate park not a 1/4 mile away and will get slammed from 11:30a to 2p! If in the drive thru, check your order before leaving because something may have slipped, but I expect that when I am 6-10 cars deep in a line that doesn't seem to end. On this occassion I went through the drive-thru and had no issues though I ordered 4 separate combos. The quality of teh chicken and pork is always top notch. The meats are well-seasoned and juicy. Both the white and yellow rice are just shy of sticky and have a good amount of seasoning - just like I like it. I always get the cilantro garlic sauce and dip EVERYTHING in it! A side well worth ordering are the fried yuca. They used to be large undercooked sticks of yuca and I hated it. Now, they have small pillowy nuggets of tender yuca which can be dipped in that creamy clantro garlic sauce. Yummy yummy! If you get a tropichop you can load it with everything like rice, lettuce, beans, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and corn all for a lot less than a rice and chicken chop chop at any other of the competition! Better yet, PT isn't just chicken. The tropichop can also be made with pork and mine often is ;) The desserts are a little too sweet, so you can probably share one with your whole party! The best part is that you can feed everyone from abuelita to the toddler for about $20 with real fresh food. You just can't beat that kind of deal!

This place is AWESOME! Have always been a big fan of Chipotle but went to a Pollo Tropical yesterday and have definitely converted. The prices at Pollo are beyond reasonable and the menu variety easily outdoes that of its competitors. Wings, pork, ribs, fajitas, etc. I opted for the tropichop (a burritobowl) with chicken, half-rice/half-lettuce, black beans, and onions, which only ran me 4 bucks. Not only was the entree splendid, but their salsa bar rocks! A nice range of several different salsas to try, tailored for every palate. I consider myself a fool for it to have taken me this long to discover the gem of Pollo Tropical... see ya there for dinner!

I always get the bad food at this location even when you ask that you dont want the burnt food they still serve you super charred cold chicken. Look at this who would eat this. But I guess I should've checked my food in the drive thru!

Crappy Services I coiuld've given you 4 star if it were just about food but no. You can get a horrible service here that you didnt get before, I wont advice you to avoid this place but please, proceed with caution. The staff here were totally lazy, can't rely on them. I wont be coming back anytime soon. I'll just come by if I heard they had improve or something.

I love pollo tropical. This place, though, dirty and gross. Staff unfriendly. But the food, I dared to try it and it was seriously good. If you can past the nauseating appearance, it's well with it. If it was clean, it'd be the best pollo franchise. Too bad they're simply terrible at keeping it clean. Tip: don't watch them prepare the food, just savor it. Delicious!! Update: finished my meal, so good. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm now giving them 4 stars. Wow!

On Tuesday 10/16 at 1pm I ordered "National Boss' Day" special offer: 2 can dine for $9.99 but the Manager (that was there that day which I hadn't seen before) did not give me the offer. I showed her the coupon Pollo Tropical sent me + I gave her the code but she did not want to give it to me unless I gave it to her on a printed sheet of paper. C'mon, if they text you an offer how will you print it from your phone. This bad review is for that manager. Note: I probably was one of their best customers. BEFORE I've never had this problem with any of the offers I've presented to them. One thing is for sure!! If they send you an offer they still have to give it to you when you ask for it that day with just the number code on it.

I'm not sure where all the stars are coming from but sure not from me. Chicken was dry as the desert in August.. bread was cold as New York in December and the service?.. seemed like they were doing me a favor.. safe to say this is my first and last review of this place.

I'll go for 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3. I still like Pollo Tropical and it's still much healthier than many other fast food options, but on this visit I wasn't thrilled by my experience. I ordered the churrasco steak and although it was good, the piece of steak I received was quite small compared to what I remember getting in the past and it wasn't as tender or juicy as what I've had here before. Also, while their "meals" seem like a decent value at $6.99, by the time you add in the drink that's not included as it is with the meals at most other restaurants, you're up to $10 for good food, but food that's served on styrofoam plates and with cheap plastic cutlery - And I'm not talking about the nicer quality stuff you might find at, say, Boston Market. These are the same ordinary plates and cutlery you might find at a backyard picnic, not at a typical chain restaurant. I'm still OK with Pollo Tropical, but it's a shame to see that it appears they've cut back on things like portion sizes, meat quality and other things that customers really notice.

PT's food is blah, blah, bland. the black beans i pour from a can taste better than the black beans from PT. i can't fathom why people keep this place in business.

I am NOT a fan of Pollo Tropical. Everything is bland in this restaurant, nothing like my grandmas cooking. The black beans are terrible and the chicken taste like wood. I'll pass and head over to KFC.

I love Pollo Tropical!! I have lunch here at least once or twice a week. The chicken is always good, the rice and beans tasty. It's just good fast food. No frills.
