This particular Panera has never failed me. The assortment of breads is always great when it comes to my cravings. I mean who are we kidding, any good latina loves those yummy carbs- and yes no shame in being honest about it. As a matter of a fact... I cannot come in here and go home with at least some asiago cheese bread. I prefer their breakfast items even though their lunch items are good as well. For some reason I always end up here with my close friends to catch up but for breakfast. Another reason I love coming here is their pumpkin items... you see- pumpkin to me is like crack- I just need more. Even the smell is hmm hmm hmm. Their mango shakes/juice is loaded but super delish as well if you are looking for something different- but stay away from their iced green tea! NO BUENO. Even if you just want a sugar fix on the go, this is the place to try.

I absolutely love Panera but I unfortunately try to avoid this specific location. The manager sometimes takes customers orders and it always feels like he's rushing you (even if there aren't many people in line). And compared to the homestead location (which I love) the restaurant is dirty.

I love Panera! Had a great time at this location but keep in mind that during lunch time it gets busy. I usually go in the mornings and always get my salad and smoothie.

I really like the steak & bleu cheese salad. It has some yummy crunchy things in it! It's also big enoughI also love the broccoli & cheese soup. It's the best broccoli & cheese soup ever!! The rolls that come with the soup or salad are so yummy. My kids love the tortellini alfredo. Order the large one & ask them to split it for your kids. It works out cheaper than buying two small ones. I also ordered the Fuji Apple chicken salad but I like the steak better. I ordered a dozen bagels a couple weeks ago to take to work & they were so good. Fresh!! Everyone loved them! I also like the fact that they open at 6 am!

So far this place has never failed me. Coffee and great selection of pastries for those afternoons when you just need a break to enjoy a book or just check your emails or even get some work done. This location has plenty of tables inside and out and they even have a kids menu with an awesome Mac and Cheese dish that my daughter loves. She also enjoys that they have some fruits and smoothies to choose from. Parking is always available and the service is always quick and friendly even when they are busy. I really love this place.

Great portion sizes, friendly staff, & healthy choices. Be prepared to easily spend $20-$25 for two.

I've been going here for years and loved the creamy soups. The soups have been coming out watery and the sandwiches burnt on the edges. I feel the bigger this company gets, the lesser the food quality. Not sure how much longer it'll be until I find a new lunch spot.

The associate that was dealing with me was so sweet. Since I have the same job it was fun to relate and agree with some things we deal with daily. Other then that the food is so refreshing a bit pricey for a college student but you feel full and clean afterwards not like heavy fast food. You find yourself a nice quant spot hop on you phone or laptop and surf away while you enjoy a latte

Lots of parking outside, very clean establishment, and good service. But please avoid peak lunch hours; the line gets crazy! (Or order ahead online for pick up!! ;) *hint hint!*) It's a great Panera to study at, but the wi-fi was pretty slow when I needed it; I ended up giving up. It can also get a tad cold, so bring a sweater if you're staying for a long time. They also have seating outside, but watch out for birds. I would say Panera is just a tad bit overpriced, overall, but depending on what you order, you get some decent portions. I enjoy coming here for an iced coffee and a salad or pastry. If I order a sandwich, I go with the 'pick 2' option and get a Greek Salad (yum!) or Broccoli Cheddar soup. My orders have been prepared quickly, even when it's crowded and for the most part, it's been pretty consistent. A couple hiccups here and there, but nothing serious as I still keep coming back now and then.

This particular Panera is in a strip mall opposite from The Falls. The shape of this Panera is a little different from the ones I'm used to. The pick up is sort of around a corner. I've never really come to a Panera in the afternoon either, only really in the morning. I still had an asiago bagel as they had 2 left but my friend ended up having a chicken noodle soup and my other friend had a cheese and broccoli soup and a veggie pita. I had a hard time finding the dish station which was pretty full when I got there, to the point where I was sort of grossed out. The large trays was maybe 15 to 20 high and the small trays was about the same. The utensils tray was pretty full too. Nobody has emptied this dish station in what seemed like perhaps hours based on the amount of people we've seen there that came and went during the time we were there which was maybe about 45 minutes.

Always enjoy visiting this Panera since it's always clean and perfect to catch up on work or with friends. Unfortunately, today the food and customer service missed the mark. The person managing the food service was very rude to her peers and customers. I had a simple Ceasar salad with no croutons and the romaine lettuce was brown and soggy. The tomato soup was also cold. Today just wasn't the day! Hopefully it'll get better.

Never really been a fan of Panera Bread and I find there new menu extremely confusing. I think there bread is good, but when you look at the quality of meats they add it makes you wonder if you really want to eat here. I ordered a turkey sandwich which I had to add cheese that came with one slice if turkey. I am not really sure if you called that a sandwich 1/16 of a pound of meat. I prefer to just grab a sub at publix at least boars head is much better quality and your sandwich comes with meat !

  • Alejandra T.

AMAZING SERVICE !! ordered a salad in a hurry & it wasn't my taste at all. When the manager passed by and noticed, she offered a whole new salad & broke down the ingredients systematically one by one. It ended being the best salad I ever had! (New summer salad "fruit salad")

Dear Panera, I craved you last night. In such a desirous way. And so we came over. I reveled in your French Onion soup and the most amazing Turkey sandwich with bacon and Gouda goodness. The iced green tea had us begging for more and your wonderful employee did us a very nice thing and gave us a free refill. :) And the world is at peace again. I love you Panera. xoxo, Sabrina*

Since I first reviewed this location over 4 months ago, I've been back at least 5 times. The Diet Coke still hasn't been fixed. Come on, Panera! How many times does someone have to complain about something being broken before it gets fixed? I'm just glad they have a Caffeine Free Diet Coke option. What really got to me on my last visit was the big piece of plastic in my french onion soup. The staff was really nice about it and replaced my meal quickly...but...there was still a piece of plastic in my first soup and I'm having a hard time forgetting that.

I don't know why it took so long for Panera to catch on down here in Miami. Other cities have Paneras all over the place. Their bakery items are wonderful, but my favorite thing they do is the Bacon, Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich. The eggs are cracked fresh that morning, the bacon is an apple hickory smoked bacon, and the bread is baked fresh each morning as well. It is kinda like a panini, because they press it when the cook it. Divine. They have organic milk, use really natural ingredients, and donate their left overs to the food banks. They also have an inviting interior, free wi fi, and comfy chairs. My only complaint is there isn't one closer to my house... yet.

This is the first Panera Bread I ever went to before they started popping up all over. I used to be obsessed with the Chicken Frontera sandwich, and the Broccoli Cheddar soup. That and sometimes a Cinnamon Bagel (with no raisins, amazing) was my usual order. I happen to live really far from this spot and I still would make the trek out here to have lunch and sometimes dinner. They recently opened one closer to me, at The Shops at Sunset Place. Unfortunately, the parking there sucks big time, especially on a weekend afternoon. I went today to watch 'The King's Speech' (which was an amazing movie, by the way) with my girlfriend. We had some time to kill so we went to Panera and my turkey sandwich with creamy tomato soup was indeed great. The reason I'm writing the review for this location and not Sunset's is that I've frequented the US-1 location more often in the past. It usually is the same experience, though. Quick service, good food, nice atmosphere.

I'm proud to say that I'm (currently, June 2012) the mayor/duke of this Panera on Foursquare/Yelp due to the fact that I essentially live here. (I'm actually writing this review here now!) Panera has (almost!) everything I want in its study friendly environment. Free Wi-fi, for starters, is a quick way to win my heart over. Its wi-fi is much faster than the wifi provided at your local Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. If you're watching videos on YouTube or Vimeo, however, its buffering time isn't exactly fast, but it'll get the job done in a few minutes. I can't even count the amount of times I selected Panera to study, grab a bite with friend to catch up, or just procrastinate on my laptop. Ambiance: THE BOOTHS! Very comfortable. It's nice to lean back against a cushion and have a hot coffee next to you as you write away on a grueling paper about nuns that dance on the Machu Pichu mountains. (Yawn) I occasionally bring a jacket because it can sometimes be a little cold inside. Food: Broccoli and Cheddar soup is easily my signature order. I usually have it once a week, but that's not all! I order it in a bread bowl so you can actually eat the bowl when you're done. I have no idea why this amuses me so much but it does and it's delicious. Parking: There's a lot of spots, but the closest ones are usually always filled. It's kind of crammed so be careful when reversing! All in all, thanks Panera for being my 2nd home for 7 years.

Went on a busy Sunday morning, the line was very long. The staff worked fast and efficiently and we were served quickly. Food quality just as good as any other Panera. Clean restaurant also.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows Panera, but in case they don't and my review happens to sway them, so be it. I give it 3 star just because it's simply "good." It's obviously not mind-blowing, it's just a quaint, casual place to get some breakfast, lunch, or just pick up some baked goods (which are really yummy). I would definitely suggest... -The summer corn chowder (seasonal, and I haven't seen it in a while but it's my fav) -Iced green tea (super refreshing) -Any kind of baked goods or sweets (always delish) -Hot chai tea latte (great for chilly nights if there happens to be any in Miami -_-) -The cute little breakfast quiches (some have egg and spinach or egg and bacon- but they're all so good they run out after the early morning bustle and they're made fresh every day!)

I am a huge fan of Panera! I love every bagel they have available. My favorite are the asiago cheese and the cinnamon crunch. For lunch I love to get a chicken thai salad. The BEST salad ever! My son is a huge fan of their cheese pastry. We have to get them every time. Breakfast is really good too. Their paninis are delish! I can so eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner without feeling guilty. They also keep this Panera clean. All Panera's I've been to so far has been clean. Customer Service is awaesome that keeps me coming back!

The food is always great ... Once you finally get it. I'm never in a rush when I get here. In fact, I always have 30-60 minute wiggle room. But no matter what the line is out the door. Then it takes another ungodly amount of time to get your food. I don't know if their management in scheduling sucks, or if they're forcing you to start ordering online. But here's a tip, have more people working during peak hours like breakfast and lunch!

I love Panera! It's one of my favorite restaurants to have lunch! The soups are my favorite. I've had every one except the chicken noodle. My dad had it and said it was bad. I guess that's why I haven't tried it. Because you could buy it from Publix and it tastes better out of the can. But all their other soups are delicious. My bf took me yesterday for like the thousand time :) And I tried the new cobb salad. It wasn't the best cobb salad I've had but I still recommend going there! The sandwiches are also very good.

Very good value for the money. It's a great place to get something to eat that's good, healthy, fast and reasonable. sandwiches, salads and soups primarily/ You can also get a half-sandwich and salad/soup. You can choose from a variety of freshly baked breads for your sandwich. Also have a choice of salads. The soups are too salty for my tastes. One thing that I wish they would do is to enclose the bakery items in a glass case. Currently, they are sitting on an open counter and I've seen flies on the baked goods on numerous occasions. I've chosen not to buy any of them because of that. The dining room is large, airy, bright and clean. They have a few tables outside as well.

In general, all Panera's deserve approx. 4 stars in terms of food. And I will admit that this Panera also gets 4 stars for food. But when you tell the guy at the register your order, and then you find out later he didn't even input your entire order and you have to re-order the missing items while the rest of your food is getting cold, stars start getting deducted. I LOVE Panera but this REALLY disappointed me. :(

  • Frank E.

It's a panera, like every other, food is pretty good, sandwiches are ok, theres something, unexciting about most of them... but they do the job, love the soups, black bean is probably my favorite (yes, I am exciting that way)... food is always prepared quickly and consistently, and theres something to be said for consistency when your food is pretty good...

  • Rob W.

Great service! When the Internet didn't work the manager went way out of his way to help. He called the IT guy, handed us his phone so the guy could figure it all out, and came back to make sure it was okay. I don't expect there to never be problems, I just want you to care a little and try to fix it. Top shelf Panera!

I have been to panera several times and always get the pick two deal. With options like sandwiches, salads, soups and now mac and cheese and chili there are endless pairings. I recently tried their mac and cheese and now, i'm a fan. I am also a fan of their iced green tea, coffees and amazing desserts like chocolate babka....remember that from Seinfeld? :)

    (4)
  • Philip B.

Nothing fancy, but it's always consistent. There are better options around, but the food definitely isn't bad. I do know that the soups come in bags and all they do is heat them up so I try to stay away from those. My favorite sandwich is the Sierra Turkey which is excellent. Other than that, usually go here about once every couple of months just to mix it up a little. The prices are at least reasonable.

  • Rebecca A.

The "You Pick 2" lunch option is a good one for a small soup and salad and is well within Weight watchers points. I find the chicken noodle soup to be very flavorful in a traditional American chicken soup style. Generally my order comes up quickly and all of the special requests I've made (no cheese, dressing on the side) have been made.

IS there better bread out there? I could make a meal out of all the fabulous types of bread they have. But wait....the soups.....oh,and the yummy desserts...talk to me smokehouse turkey....tomato and mozarella or bacon turkey bravo. Yes, I really like Panera and you will too. I love the onion soup, but beware - it's quite salty. I love the atmosphere at Panera, it's warm and inviting and begs you to bring friends and be social. Good for eating by yourself (i love the chairs with little tables attached), or with friends. I've seen ppl with laptops - are they a wi-fi hotspot?

This location has a very friendly staff. I usually come here for a quick breakfast on the go. I usually have the Power Breakfast sandwich and a latte. I feel guilty saying this, but I still prefer my lattes at Starbucks although Panera is a close second. The salads are delicious and the new Steakhouse Chili with fresh cornbread is amazing! I love that the menu boards have calorie info. for both the food and beverages and they also offer free wifi.

Panera is a great place to stop in a get a good sandwich and some soup for lunch. It's not pricey...and they have alot to choose from. I love their chicken and rice soup.

My initial impression when entering Panera Bread was that it was a Starbuck's for sandwiches. The sandwiches are very good in quality and presentation. The prices are moderate. What threw me for a loop at this particular Panera was the layout. It was laid out in a very disorienting manner. I had trouble finding the soda dispenser and then my way out! Overall, I found the food good and the service fine.

This was my first visit to panera everything was great until it came time to leave. It took an act of congress just to get a to go box and bag. I feel that if I spend over 25 on lunch trying to try different things that I should be able to easily take them with me. I was instead met with aggravation and confusing expressions from the staff so I then sent my husband because i was started to feel insulted he went and and had no luck either I decided to go back again because the boxes we each were given weren't large enough and they gave us no bag. I should not have to smash my food then carry food in hand . Agin I was met with 21 questions and aggravation especially when I asked for a larger bag. This experience left me feeling like I asked for to much and turned my otherwise excellent experience negative.

This Panera is one of my favorite spots to come to, especially before going to the nearby theatre. I came here with my friend from LA who was visiting at the time. She had no idea what she wanted and is kinda picky when it comes to order. Thank goodness, one of the cashiers, I believe her name was Karla recommend my friend a few things that she was able to pick from. I traditionally go with the 1/2 soup (corn chowder for this season) and 1/2 greek salad. My friend loved her salad and the green tea that Karla recommended.

Panera is like a yin yang, there is just as much bad as there is good. For vegetarians there are only limited options. The Tomato & Mozzarella is pretty good with tomato pesto smothered on it. They have pretty good soup options too, my favorite being the pesto veggie soup. There is much else to love about Panera and to recommend: 1). the green iced tea 2). the low-fat fruit smoothies 3). the mac & cheese. But there is also so much disappointment. Panera gets rated a D on the "Eat This Not That" report card for high sodium and fat levels, trickery I believe - because it tastes so healthy. How could it be? The day the truth came out about Panera was the day I asked for something removed from the sandwich, I don't remember exactly - it was probably a tomato or something silly like that because I am picky like that, but I was told... unbelievably, "No ma'am, I am sorry nothing can be removed because all the sandwiches are pre-made and frozen" What??? Holy cow? Are you kidding me, they are NOT fresh? It took me some time to get used to this, my love died down for Panera, i felt betrayed, and now I usually just pop in for a drink or coffee So don't be deceived. Subway gets rated an A and is made fresh in front of you. Unfortunately, at Subway you can't get as many options as Panera and you don't have an entire bakery of treats and cafe choices in front of you. But if you do go to Panera, atleast do it knowing what you're in for and don't order the Chai Latte. But do get the iced green tea.

Used to love this place before menu changed and don't love anymore. Even the awesome lemonade was weak and sour on last visit. I just can't find a tasty menu item to replace my chicken bacon dijon so I'm sad every time I visit.

I have found Panera to be my favorite breakfast place, the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is simply wonderful, the only way to make it better is having it on an Asiago bagel. The few times I went there for lunch the soups are very good, the sandwiches were okay, and unfortunately they serve Pepsi not coke, in all I wasn't impressed with it. I would really recommend sticking with breakfast only.

  • Carolyn D.

They have a new panini called the Chicken Cuban. It is a spin-off of a traditional Cuban sandwich. They added some sweet and spicy pickles, chipotle mayo, and traded the ham for the chicken. I must admit that it is quite delicious. Try it! Also, I wanted some extra bread tonight for dipping in my broccoli and cheese soup. The man behind that counter was nice enough to give me extra bread....a WHOLE LOAF of it! Pure awesome.

Panera always has good food and decent service. However, they are always suuuper crowded...even the tables outside. If you are craving sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods, then Panera is a good place to go. The service isnt always so amazing, but that's fine with me. Other people might not like it. Oh, but they do pick up your plates when you're done. That's kind of nice :)

I love Panera!! The parking lot of this location is a nightmare, but the food at this location way outweighs the parking, so I'll let it slide. Yum! I particularly love their Bacon Turkey Bravo, their Greek salad, and their French Onion soup. The product is always fresh and consistent.

Dinner on a Monday night, no muss no fuss a sandwich and some mac n cheese. Panera was pretty busy but the staff were super efficient, I hadn't even sat down and my buzzer was already going nuts alerting me that my food was ready. I got the a chicken panini covered in mozzarella, basil and tomato & a side of their Mac n Cheese. Did you know Panera has Mac n Cheese? I didn't! It was pretty good, white cheddar but basic shells, a step above kraft. I ate, used the free wifi and left a happy camper. Panera took the guess work out of one meal for me this week. : )

Never been disappointed by Panera. Always a great place to grab a quick lunch, and the soups, salads, and sandwiches are consistently good. Love that you can do a small soup and half a sandwich, for those occasions when you can't decide!

I'm a fan. Simply, no one else in Miami has all these things: free wifi, comfortable seating, great lighting, quiet corners, adequate wall outlets, ample safe parking and free refills on coffees, tea and soda if you're going to linger with a book, send some email, or catch up with some friends. Service at this location used to be phenomenal with Margarita as manager, and it's hit or miss, now, sadly. Everyone has a customer-is-always-right training, though, and the guy making your sandwich will gladly trade for whole wheat or give you the other chips, etc. Heavy handed with the salad dressings. There's always a kind person or two clearing your table though, or getting you a refill, but it's an order it yourself kind of restaurant. If this weren't FL, I'd enjoy the fireplaces and coziness of other locations of Panera. Their combo is the best "deal" especially if you remember to add a cookie (think Subway) for $1. I have tried everything in the menu, so if you don't see it on the list, don't order it and expect it to compare well to other restaurant versions. You're warned! Best items list: Bakery: -Bagels. All savories are delicious. Cinnamon crunch/asiago best. -Orange scone -Pumpkin or cranberry orange muffin -Chocolate chocolate chip "duet" cookie -No issues with any crafted breads. Take home holiday bread, which is like a cross between panettone and chocolate babka. Cafe menu: SALAD: (whatever is the seasonal)Orchard chicken, fuji apple or classic. PANINI: turkey artichoke SANDWICH: asiago roast beef, italian combo, meditteranean vege SOUP: cream of chicken and wild rice, garden vegetable Drinks bar: The best coffee is the light roast regular. Iced tea is brewed. There's simply no need to get a no refill beverage when house drink and soda selection is this good. Though a mix, the honeydew green tea smoothie is delicious. If and when they bring back the personal pizzas, they were good little brick oven style with delicious bread. If you miss then, get the mozz/cheese panini, and it's basically a stuffed pizza complete with sauce.

I know I should be embarrassed about ordering "soup for a group" for one, but at this point i don't care. For franchised sandwich menus, this one might be the best you can regularly count on. I imagine the execution is the important part, and the one by the falls usually has a good staff. The lunch lines get a little long, but there's a reason for it.
