Well I must say my expectations were very low based on my numerous failed attempts at finding a good Italian restaurant in Miami. So when I found this restaurant and read some of their positive reviews I was definitely intrigued. We stopped in for some lunch with pasta in mind of course, although their pizza looked great! Luckily today was 2 for 1 Pasta so we took advantage. I ordered the Pasta Carbonara which was excellent! And she had the Tortellini in a Meat Sauce, equally delicious! With generous size portions. They have great garlic rolls and their house made Tiramisu wasn't bad at all. Overall it was a great lunch! Especially that one of our dishes was FREE! The service was great, everyone seems very friendly. I'll definitely return to try their pie!

A hidden gem! I love eating here. The service is great and the prices are amazing for the quality and quantity of food you get. Most of the entrees are large and can be shared. My favorite is the chicken marsala. A must try!

Worst service for the money! I ordered calamari and got 10 pieces for $10.95. The manager offered horrible customer service. If you're craving calamari go to Harry cabana or on Miller.

I rate 5 stars if I am overall happy with cleanliness and great fresh food. The pizza is great, the garlic rolls are yummy and the price is decent for a fresh baked pizza. They have a special which includes 2 slices and a soda. I get this for my kids when I pick them up from school so it's convenient ! And they love pizza from here!

I was sad when Nonna moved from their original location, but the good news is that they haven't gone far!!! I was disappointed that they left their establishment and did not even post a sign that they moved, indicating their new location. Anywho, I always go there for lunch and order the chicken wrap and salad. Yummo!

...in my search through the jungles of South Florida, I have a found a neighborhood pizza place that listens to it's customers. WOW!!! The pizza is made thin and crispy, but you can order it done to your liking. They have great lunch specials including 2 slices and a soda for under $5.00; The pasta dishes are made to order and pretty much everything is made in the store. The portions are enough for two or for lunch tomorrow. Located in a Publix Shopping center and off to the side of the mall, you may miss them. Look for the dentist office or the Chinese take out place and you'll see them right away. They deliver or you can pick it up. Bon Appetit!

This place is so good I made a yelp page for them because I want people to discover this place. Yes it is that good. Do yourself a favor and go here. They are an Italian restaurant, but I came here because I am addicted to pizza and wanted to try this place out. Now, on to the review: Quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had. Period. I have eaten Steve's pizza, Casola's, Miami's 'Best' Pizza (not really even average, but people seem to like it), and even went to Italy and had the pizza there. This is better. You will eat this pizza and not feel like crap afterwards. The ingredients are fresh, and if you want to taste true excellence try the fresh mozzeralla pizza. My girlfriend had chicken there and it was awesome. Their bruschetta is quite possibly the best bruschetta I've ever had. And the prices are reasonable. Takeaway: go here and thank me later

About a month ago I ordered an xl pepperoni pizza for delivery. What I got was a plain cheese pizza, I called the establishment and was told they would give me a credit on my next purchase. So, I called today and told them about the credit I had with them. Instead of a full credit they wanted me to pay full price for the pizza minus the $ for the ingredients..which would be the pepperoni. Are you kidding me? I paid full price plus tip for the wrong pizza to be delivered and then they want me to pay full price on another for their error. Never ordering from them again! Pizza hut has better customer service than them..once upon a time same thing happened with them..but they honored the full credit.

Nonna Bistro is by far one of the best pizza places I've try in Miami, I pass by one day and fell in love with this place. The service is awesome, reasonable prices, and the best pizza and food you can find. Give it a try, you won't regret it!.

If you live in the area, THIS should be your #1 choice for pizza and pastas! Their wraps are pretty good too (get the Grilled Chicken wrap-no dressing if you're looking for a lighter option). My own pizza creation is the best...I get half supreme and half bacon and ricotta. The bacon and ricotta pizza is AMAZING! As far as the pastas go, I recommend the Tortellini Nonna Bistro; the peas, ham and pink sauce combo is on point. I also love the chicken parmesan, it's tasty and big enough for two people to share. The salads are all really good too. They have a lot of options and I've never ordered anything that I haven't liked. I used to visit their old location (Nonna Maria), the new location has all the same menu items. I usually order to-go or delivery ($3 delivery fee). Keep up the good work, Nonna Bistro!

Visited this location to see how if compares to others in the area. Better then some, but far from the best. Pizza had some freshness and decent flavor. I tried cheese and pepperoni, both adequate in the overall crust, sauce and toppings. But nothing special. Did not try sides or other dishes that are offered. Will be going back for a second run later in hopes of a better experience. Rating will fluctuate after the second visit. For now, a decent place to go in the area.

Wow I ordered delivery and they took 50 minutes, pizza was barely warm, the driver didn't even know how to get to my house. One large supreme pizza was $25+tip=$30! I wouldn't mind, had the food been good. Heck I wasn't a bit upset about the delivery. All in all, never ordering again. NEEEXT.

Chicken fingers were awesome , homemade with panko. Garlic bread and pizza very good as well. Cute place for fast casual dinner and they deliver too. Pastas a little pricey for the location so we didn't try them. Will definitely return and order delivery.

Ordered an extra large pizza and a medium pizza for delivery which cost $40.07. We wouldn't have minded paying so much if the pizza had been as good as the reviews said it was -- it wasn't. Pretty run of the mill and the ingredients looked like they came out of cans. Disappointing. Not extraordinary or worth the exorbitant price. Maybe the pizza is best enjoyed on site? Either way we won't be ordering from Nonna's again... just not worth it.

I eat pizza several times a week. I recently moved to the area and was worried i wouldn't find a good pizza shop . I tried the cheese pizza from here and now I'm hooked . No more worries Yay! The pizza is nice and thin New York style with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The crust wasn't too crispy nor too soft ,just right I have a large family so i take advantage of their special 2 large cheese pizzas, dozen rolls for $19.95

Delicious pizza and great specials always. Their menu has grown and the service is great. Delivery is always less than 20 minutes. Their Nonna wrap is the best. Highly recommend!!!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
