This is BY FAR the best chinese place in the hammocks area. Im a really picky eater, specially when it comes to chinese food. This place you can tell is the cleanest, nicest, best tasting out of all the hammocks spots. My only complaint use to be the delivery, it use to always take over an hour, but I re-reviewed it because the last couple of times i ordered it has always been here in under 45 minutes. Iv tried the boneless ribs, sweet and sour chicken, and the general tso's chicken. They have all been delicious, no plate here has ever been dissapointing!

Fast, friendly, fresh: three words that perfectly describe New Village Chinese Restaurant! I rang this place up at around 3:15pm to order off of their lunch special's that ended at 3:30. By 3:50 they were at my home, delivering a box of hot, freshly made Chinese food. The Chicken and broccoli was far from disappointing, which I expected it to be because chicken and broccoli isn't really an exciting dish. However, I found the broccoli to be fresh, crisp, and flavorful. What a surprise! The chicken wasn't fatty, and I had the option of ordering veggie fried rice since I don't eat pork. The general Tsao's's chicken was mild in terms of spicyness, but still satisfying. You can, of course, request it to be hotter. The honey chicken came with the most delicious sweet sauce. I mean, it's hard to go wrong with sugared water but I've seen it done before. The chicken was soft, not hard or overcooked. In my opinion, the lo Mein dish was standard in taste but my mother-in-law, who is by far the hardest person to please, thought it was fantastic! The lunch specials run from 11am to 3:30pm and include an entree with pork or veggie fried rice and an egg roll or soup. They are 5.95 each, which I think is a great deal. Our 4 entrees, 2 soups, 2 spring rolls, and 2 egg rolls came out to $35 including delivery and tip. Can't beat that for Chinese takeout!

Finally. After so many failed attempts, we have found delicious Chinese takeout. I always order Chicken and Broccoli combo platter. I am not one to stick to only one dish except when it comes to Chinese. It is soooo good!! The egg rolls are also to die for. Julio has tried other menu items and nothing has disappointed yet. His favorite is the Fried Chicken Wings. Their delivery service is quick and reliable. They know our address by our phone number and after double digit orders they have yet to disappoint. Thank you New Village - keep up the good work! (and food!)

Just ordered delivery for dinner. Got Chicken and Chinese Vegetables with Ham Fried Rice and Egg Drop Noodles. Also got Boneless Spare Ribs with Pork fried rice and wonton soup. These were dinner combos so they came with egg rolls. Both combos were really tasty, food was fresh and delivery was relatively fast. Didn't give them 5 stars because I found the food a bit too saucey and rich.... But if you like that kind of chinese food...you'll love it.

Lately the delivery is taking an hour. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and it was horrible. The patty was bland and round not like a ball not flat. The gravy was thin and runny. I will never order from here again.

Not a bad Chinese restaurant, vegetables lomein , special fried rice , really good, not to much to talk about Chinese restaurants then pretty much cook all the same menu, but this one you should try.

Best Chinese food around. The staff is friendly and the prices are great for the amount of food they give you.

Very solid Chinese food. I've had some questionable experiences with other Chinese restaurants in the area, so I was somewhat skeptical ordering take out. Following a friends recommendation I ordered a bunch of food for the fam a week back and was pleasantly surprised. Pu Pu platter was hefty, and you can talk yourself into the shrimp chop suey being a halfway healthy compromise, plus the Kung Po chicken is the right kind of spicy if you're about that life. Solid value. Only downside is its hard to find a menu online. I came across this one ( southflorida.menupages.c… ) even though the owner said they don't have a menu online. So there's a fair chance that a rogue Chinese restaurant menu publisher resides in Kendall.

Ordered delivery. Standard American Chinese food. Not bad but nothing special. They do give you a lot of food. If I'm ever in the mood for Chinese and too lazy and want delivery ill call back.

I'm a big fan of this place for lunch. The place is kind of creepy due to the fact that theres never costumers but the food is great. They offer many options and deliver a great product. One of the best chinese food places is the Hammocks.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
