This is a review for Nathan's Hot Dogs at Miami International Airport's D (American Airlines) terminal. I arrived at MIA at around 1 p.m. and was getting hungry, but didn't want any of the usual fast food options like BK or McDonald's. For some reason Nathan's came to mind as I was walking through the airport, though I wasn't necessarily hungry for a hot dog. I decided on the Philly Cheese Steak with fries and a drink. The guy working the counter was very friendly (I almost got his name and told him he needed to go work in the customer service industry or maybe sales, as he was really outgoing and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job...On the bottom of the receipt here at Nathan's there's a tip line, and I'd normally never give a gratuity at a fast food place, but I thought he deserved something). My order came to $12.20. Other reviewers have commented that this restaurant is a bit spendy, but to be honest, all airport food is overpriced for the most part; it's supply and demand...Where else are you going to go? The Philly Cheese Steak was surprisingly good, the fries here were great as always (I love the little plastic fork they give you to eat the fries with), and their own branded lemonade hit the spot.

If I could give zero stars, that would happen. We had limited options being on a time crunch, so Nathan's looked quick and easy. I've had Nathan's before in college and I remember it being delicious. I got chicken fingers. My friend got bacon cheeseburger. We grab, find a place to sit and start to dig in. My chicken fingers were cold in the middle and they forgot bacon on his bacon cheeseburger. The meat also looked pale. He took it back and they "fixed" it by slapping some cold, floppy, "bacon" on it with a giant effing attitude. For two meals it was $22 that just gave us two stomach aches. STAY AWAY.

Had a burger, friend had a hot dog. This is the 1st airport eatery that allows refills on fountain drinks - WOW! The food was also WAY better than most other big chain fast food places.

Let's face it - your options are limited when you're in an airport. I wouldn't get a hot dog here (small from what I remember), but their chicken sammitch is solid. Better than other traditional fast food joints like Mack D's or BK, which is pretty much your only other option when you're craving a crispy piece of domesticated fowl. The fries are also decent, and you get a lot more for your $$ than the aforementioned places

Got off our long flight to Miami, and were famished. We simply could not wait until we got to our hotel, so we sat here at Nathan's. Its a bit overpriced but anything at an airport establishment usually is. My son had the dog and fries and I had a burger and fries, both of which were delicious. Staff, was quick and courteous. I wish they have some on the West Coast! I will def. be back when I go to the East Coast. Yes it is greasy and yes, it is yummy... but hey! it's fast food. Anything goes! The quality here is pretty good and the prices are decent.

Slow slow service... The guy in front of me ordered a large and the cashier ended up ringing him up as regular meal...he wasn't too happy...they ended up comping his fries... The lady in front of the guy didn't want to get change back and was getting her coins while the cashier lady rang her up giving her coins she wasn't happy about that... How about we get another cashier lady to work in the front? Got a super cheeseburger it was okay...$4.49

NOT SO HOT Overpriced skinny little dogs with minimal flavor lost in a huge puffy Styrofoam bun that engulfs it. Worse than cheap grocery store buns. Disgusting.

Nathan's should stick to hotdogs only. Had a cheese burger and the beef pattie was dry and over cooked. The bun was also old and stale. Rated 2stars because sin liked corn dog

I'm used to airport pricing but a cheese dog here was ridiculous as it was the smallest dog, soggy bun, and way too much liquid yellow just poured over it. What ever happened to the days of actual shredded cheese instead of colored flavored sauce.....

Had the Philly Cheesesteak. Not bad, but didn't think I was suddenly in Philly. Service was pretty fast, probably not a bad option if in a hurry near the gate.

Just say no. While missing my flight and having to wait oh, about 6 hours for the next one, I needed some fuel and this was just a bad idea. It's located in the Terminal-D and though the service is quick, the quality of the food is terrible. Skip the fries and the corn dog. Don't say I didn't warn you!

FUCKIN CRAZY!!!! Two hot dogs two fries two drinks = 19.00 and that's with an employee discount. There're not even Vienna Beef Hot Dogs.

If you are walking by this place while at Miami airport, keep walking because this place is terrible. We were trying to make a connecting flight that was already boarding but we were really hungry, so we decided to grab a sandwich to take with us on the plane. When our turn came, not sure what was going on but all cashiers and managers were arguing. We should have walked away then. When they finally took our order, she (the cashier) misheard and rang us up for the wrong thing. When we told her we wanted something else, she offered no apology but instead her attitude and started arguing and saying that she was right. We didn't have time to deal with her, as our flight was leaving. So we grabbed the bag with the wrong sandwich and ran to our gate. When we opened it on the plane, there was the wrong sandwich, no fries that we paid for, and they didn't even bother to put any napkins or ketchup in. Not to mention that we paid $12 for it. This was the most expensive crappy sandwich I have ever had filled with the nasty attitude from the cashier. Stay away!

decent corn dog and fries. the breading on the corn dog is more textured than hot-dog-on-a-stick. the sausage is not very good. the fries are like mash potatoes inside, crispy outside; crinkled-cut i would get the corn dog and fries again.

3 Stars Getting ready to fly back home and I decided to give Nathan's another shot. Got a regular hot dog w/ fries. Service was ehhh, but the food was pretty good. Fries reminded me of elementary school cafeteria fries (in a good way).

Not a fan of dogs, but the chicken sandwich was pretty good. The fries were hot and crispy. Not sure what the deal was with the little plastic pitch fork, the fries wouldn't stay on it so it was a waste of plastic. They could help save the environment and do away with these.
