I have now eaten at LOL four times in the last two months and I am consistently impressed with the delicious, fresh food here. To start the meal, the waiter brings hummus with a dab of chimichurri and pita wedges to every table on the house...yum. Always tempted to ask, "If I down this in less than 60 seconds, you'll bring another??" But seriously... For entrees, we've tasted everything from the cray cray salad with shrimp to the half chicken, skirt strips, salmon sandwich and chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The shrimp is always cooked to perfection, chicken is tender and juicy, fries are crispy without being greasy, and service is excellent. The happy hour: you can get a *PITCHER* of sangria for $9.50 during happy hour. The sangria is so light and delicious, but you can definitely taste the wine (which I love). Every other drink is half off, aka you really can't go wrong. Overall, I am a huge fan of LOL. Though tucked in the Four Ambassadors -- a building that somehow snuck out of the 1970's and plopped itself into the new Millennium untouched -- the restaurant is totally modern, beautiful and perhaps most importantly, no laughing matter.

It was a nice looking restaurant, very modern and cozy although spacious. I ordered the house special parrillada for two and was brought about 3 people's servings of meat and chicken. The sides were large too: mash and fries. On the other hand, I asked for everything to be well done and gauging by the fact that there was only a total of 3 tables at the restaurant on a slow wednesday night, I'd expect my food to be as perfect as everyone else says on here. Instead, all but one meat were as raw as they can get, oozing in red, hard to even pull apart by my teeth. I asked the server to have it cooked more but the chef did nothing but completely burn it. Even then the thicker one of the meets was still red inside despite the burning, I guess it needed to be butterfly cut. Thats my two cents.

Not terrible, but I'm not going back to the restaurant. I heard they just opened the tiki bar - I'll probably go for drinks there just because of the location (pretty sure it's the old Blue Parrot tiki bar). I tried the Napolitan Milanese and the steak strips. Steak: decent Sweet potato fries: the best thing I tried Napolitan Milanese: pretty bad, over salted and the tomato sauce looked like tomato paste mixed with ketchup. I'm not an overly picky eater, but I couldn't finish it. Price: very decent for brickell Staff: nice, great attitude Ambience: very lonely. Sunday 8pm and we were the only diners. The decoration is nice though. Music: Good God Almighty. I hope mgmt reads this: it was non-stop sad, depressing music. The type teenage girls listen to after a break up. I would have preferred a NOW cd from the 90s. Hopefully I just caught them on a bad night... their menu looked so good.

This place is located in the Four Ambassadors which basically means a trip back in time to the 1970s. Nothing much against that, but it doesn't really fit the modern and nice atmosphere of so many places in Miami. The restaurant is basically the same. Dated feel but not bad. Food took a long time to come out. Service was OK. Food was a good portion but nothing special in my opinion. Doubtful I'd return.

Tucked away in the four ambassadors lobby on brickell bay drive, lol caught my attention and I have been here three times now. I had drinks only, then today decided to try to the food - so happy I did! The baby churrasco was perfectly done, a little crispy on top, with a great chimichurri sauce on the side. Our server/bartender was friendly and helpful, and she remembered small details from our last visit which made me feel special :) she made great conversation and made sure we were enjoying our experience - thanks Andrea! And somehow we always make friends at the bar! It might be THAT bar! Lol..

The service was fast and efficient. Bartender prepared us amazing cocktails. I will definitely return to this place and advertise it to anyone.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Stay away. The restaurant has a great view but the manager needs to learn some people skills. He refused to honor a valid voucher and started yelling on top of my baby that he no longer wants to accept Groupons or Dealtificates. I informed him that people had purchased the vouchers in good faith but he refused to accept it. Hope this restaurant closes and a new one with better management opens up.

I am pleased to say that the owner of the restaurant contacted me and offered another lunch to prove this was a one time mishap. They have only been open for about a month so I will take him up on his offer and follow up on how everything went. Stay tuned!

I had a dining experience at LOL that is hard to believe. It was so unbelievably bad that it will sound made up. I was dining with my boyfriend and friend at LOL for some dinner and drinks. We ordered two wines and a beer to start while we looked at the menu. Some how all the wines on the menu were "out" besides house merlot and a Malbec by the bottle. We settled for a glass of terrible merlot. My boyfriend was really hungry so he ordered a margarita flatbread appetizer for us to share. Then after about 10 minutes had gone by, the waitress and someone from the kitchen came out to ask if margarita was tomato and cheese. Taken a back, but we continued to venture on... and ordered some dishes for our main meal. The flatbread came out and was dough-y/barely cooked... and tasted like a cheese pizza from Chuck E Cheese - not a margarita flatbread. Then our main dishes were brought out - we had ordered a chicken sandwich with steamed veggies, empanadas / bruschetta mini plates, and fettuccine with shrimp. However, empanadas were brought out without bruschetta. We waited a bit and then asked if it was coming. The waitress swore she didn't right it on her "document" and that it wasn't ordered. Nonetheless, we asked for it. The pastas are served with a small salad. We had ordered a house salad with the fettuchini - none was ever brought. I was waiting for my bruschetta and asked repeatedly if it was coming since "reordering" it. While waiting, I had some steamed veggies from my boyfriends meal. I took a piece of squash and sitting on the plate were two gold rings (not sure how the heck two gold rings end up on the bottom of steamed vegetables but it's super gross to see). Obviously, I freaked out and called over the waitress. After the food was taken back to the kitchen, they brought out the other half of chicken sandwich for my boyfriend. Clearly, he was no longer hungry and was down veggies. As we asked for the check, my bruschetta was FINALLY brought out - rather wishing it hadn't been. The check, as I predicted, was wrong. The only beer ordered was Coors Light, but we were charged extra for imported beer. The chicken sandwich meal which we didn't actually get to eat because half was taken away was fully charged. The pasta dish also included the salad we didn't order We asked the waitress if we could speak with the manager. The manager didn't understand anything that was going on and was extremely incompetent. After a bit of back and forth, we finally paid an extremely expensive check even though we didn't not receive full meals and each of us had something wrong with our meal. In conclusion, we had been here prior and thought LOL might have something going for it and actually make it. However, Sandra, the waitress, and the 16-year-old-looking-manager will run this place into the ground. Now, I will NEVER go here again and will make sure that I tell everyone not to go near this place... GOLD RINGS IN STEAMED VEGETABlES?!?!!??!

Just visited this place last night based on all the positive Yelp! reviews. Somehow I had decided it was a more intimate place than it turned out to be. My bad for misjudging the wording in some of the reviews. The restaurant was laid out like a sports bar: 4 big screens over the bar and another couple screens toward the back. I was aiming for something romantic and this was a miss. On the plus side, the TV's were not blaring any audio. Instead music was playing but nothing supporting the argentinian theme til the very end of the meal. The decor is clean, neutral, not really themed. Different floor levels help break up the space and we chose a table at the top. This sort of removes you from the rest of the room but is no quieter. The staff were very nice and attentive. The server couldn't answer many of our questions but I guess the place is pretty new. Note: look up 'flat meat' before you go (yes, flat, not flap, or flank although these might be describing the same cut?) After several questions I still don't really know what "flat" means and a brief Googling still has me stumped. I was angling for a filet mignon but I have no idea if that existed on the menu by a different name? Tried the "Tapa" with cheeses, meats and olives. The olives are all pitted and I have never met pitted olives I like: zero flavor. The manchego cheese was good & thinly sliced but there was brie (??) which isn't listed on the description and seems like a miss for argentinian. I'd just rather have more manchego. For meats, the prosciutto & salami were there, but there was more thinly sliced ham than prosciutto (ham also wasn't listed in the description, only prosciutto). I ended up with a caesar salad w/grilled shrimp. The shrimp were good but the dressing was on the side without me requesting it that way. It's harder to incorporate the heavier dressing after-the-fact. My friend got one of the steaks (a flat one) which was a long narrow cut I haven't seen before. It was served with a chimichurri where the parsley was still recognizably ruffled but the flavor was pretty good. Overall the food was decent and I can see why some people like the place. Friday night at 8:30 saw only a few tables seated so they have some work to do advertising. I would try it again maybe for lunch but I would hope they would rework their offerings to be higher quality and hone the argentinian theme a bit more.

Food great, service great, prices great! Got the paradillo for two, came with enough meat for 4.

I absolutely love this place. The ambiance is cozy and trendy. Such a cute spot! I've had both the beef burger and the parrillada and the portions are a good size and the food is amazing! The service is great, everyone is always friendly and knowledgeable. Whether for lunch or dinner, you'll be sure to make your way back!

As a first timer, like me, I definitely recommend the Complete Parrillada. We got the one sized for 2 people and we're STILL taking food home. The meat is juicy and savory. The ambiance great, and the Rockbot app make the experience even more enjoyable! LOL Resto-bar is great for a cute date, but the theme is kind of lost, and the TV's are kinda just there not serving a purpose. But what counts is the food and this place sure delivered!

We had the chicken empanadas, yum. The steak strips were delicious. I believe our sever may have been the manager who was very attentive to us. Not too many people but I hope it sticks around.

I wandered in this place the other day looking for a different restaurant. Turns out that restaurant had closed and Lol took it's place. I was kinda sad to know my favorite restaurant wasn't there anymore. However, after enjoying a great cocktail at their bar, I was enticed to grab some food. I wasn't really sure what to order because their menu covers a vast amount of different cuisines. So I ordered the empanadas which btw were freaking great, Super tasty. Then I had the ravioli. This is better than my grandmas ravioli it put hers to shame. By the time I finished eating I had downed like 5 cocktails. Just a word of advice the bartender Andrea is super personable and will have you laughing your butt off or "lol" while she gets you tossed back. So be very careful. I highly recommend you stop in and try it out. All the plates that came out of the kitchen were beautifully garnished. This place was pretty epic.

NPS = 7 You know, this place surprised me. I expected another over-priced, horrible service, no value place that was opening up right where I live. I guess you can say I've been jaded by all the HORRIBLE customer service you get from places in Brickell... But this place was not like that. The food tasted alright, the service was pretty standard (it was empty however, so we basically had a waiter all to ourselves), and overall I was not COMPLETELY let down by my experience as other places in the area have left me. For appetizers, we ordered LOL pizza as recommended by the waiter. The LOL pizza comes with four different cheeses. However, It had TOO much blue cheese on it. The blue cheese definitely over-powered the taste of the pizza and just made the pizza too much to handle. The chicken parmesan is HUGE. It looked like the chicken breast was on steroids, but it tasted pretty good. They have music playing in the background which was nice, but it would switch from reggeaton to salsa to progressive house. I am still trying to figure out exactly what the "LOL" brand and/or identity is. I would say the restaurant should "tighten up" more on what their image/brand is exactly in order to be more successful. The place looks like it has a dance-floor, so I do not know if the owner is planning on expanding this into a night-club scene. Particularly now that Brasileiro has closed down for renovations, this is a great time for the owner of LOL to capture some of the customer's in the area. Additionally, with La Scala hosting several famous guests, this place could feed off some of those visitors. There are several beer specials, but I do not remember what they are. Overall the experience was quiet and nice, and it looks like the restaurant has little tweaks to make here and there in order to become supreme. I wish them luck.

This place is absolutely terrible. We got the parrillada, and the meat was all extremely tough. The service was also terrible; we were the only ones at the restaurant and the waiter took FOREVER to serve us our drinks and bring our food. You would think he would at least be checking up on us, but no, he was laughing and talking to other employees at the bar. We had to pretty much yell his name out to get his attention. Even though we live in the building next door, and we are NEVER coming back again. Shut this place down. ASAP.
