I'm solely basing this reveiw on their pizza, since that is the only item I had from them. I didn't particularly like it as It was too chewy and too salty. As for the service it was great. I will come back and try one of their dishes.

I took my son here for his bday. The pizza was good but thats about it.The pasta entrees were very greasy. The salad was ok and the garlic rolls were burnt.I dont think i will be back but if my kids really want pizza then im willing to try it again.

Don't order delivery on a Friday night! It's been 1.5 hour and my XL pizza still hasn't arrived! Their excuse, they took to many orders. Wish they would have mentioned that when I placed the order.

Everything from its taste, presentation, price and costumer service is excellent. Maybe because the owner is here? Not sure but I love this place

This place is a gem!!! Truly the best pizza and all the ingredients are so fresh! The service is great! You get a smile from the moment you walk in the door. I definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Once again I am not surprised that the food was excellent and the service was supreme. Calamari appetizer was delicious. Mike made a suggestion for lunch and without surprise it was delicious. Can honestly say I found my new spot.

WOW!!! There's nothing bad I can say about Little Louie's...ordered the calzone which was freshly made and tasted amazing, garlic rolls were soft and garlic was just right. For dessert had the Salted Caramel Cheesecake and once again WOW! Service was great, the owner personally makes sure everything is on point. You won't be disappointed.

I remember this place when it was Mike and sons. I noticed that it has since changed names and ownership. So I decided to try Little Louie's today for the first time after all the good reviews. Definitely not worth eating again. The pizza was mediocre ..barely any sauce on the pizza and almost burnt. and the chicken champagne pasta I ordered was mediocre as well. I could've made this pasta at home. I only came here because I didn't want to make the drive to my favorite place...lesson learned. I'm sticking to my fav even if I have to go a little further. At least the staff was pleasant.

I have ordered many different plates and every single one has been delicious, their pizzas are amazing and so are the entrees. Had it many times and I have never been disappointed. Definitively recommend this place!

Me and my family went and everything was super clean! The staff was nice and welcoming they prepared our table with a small and my little niece accidentally broke a dish and they told us not to worry and didn't made us pay for it we got garlic bred rolls and they were nice and warm i also got some fried mozzarella which was AMAZING!! Totally recommend going here One thing though the menus where just in small school 99cent folder if they where more nicely presented id be better.

Never again! Second time this happens. They tell you the wait time is 35 minutes and when you get there it's another 45 minutes! The pizza is just ok. Nothing to write home about. Last pizza place that was here went out of business, maybe they will as well. Should have gone to Old World Pizza, always on time.

Recently moved to the 33185 area code and been ordering from Nonna Bistro on our week pizza day. We decided to try something new and after looking at Little Louies menu, we wanted to try it. The pizza didn't take long to get to our house, but the pizza was over cooked. The kids didn't want to eat it and honestly, neither did my wife. I will never order from Little Louies again

Since my initial review my family and I have dined here numerous times. The food has been consistently good and you couldn't ask for a nicer, friendlier owner. Last night I tried the veggie pizza which was outstanding. The veggies were plentiful and very fresh. The new outdoor sign looks great, just like the food and service inside.

My family's local go to pizza stop! Their garlic rolls are to die for. We have eaten in and ordered delivery. Restaurant has great ambiance and deliveries are delivered on time as promised. Two thumbs up for Little Louie's!

  • Ximena S.

Last week we ordered from this place and everything was great. I don't know what happened tonight but the delivery took over an hour and they forgot our fettuccini Alfredo. We called back ask asked for the driver to bring our fettuccini Alfredo for my son and they never brought it neither did they call us back with an explanation. We will not order from here again. Bad service. And my son went to bed hungry and upset.

This restaurant has the recipe for success! While most chains get lazy in customer service, these guys take pride and greeting everyone makes you feel welcomed. I got a Parmesan chicken sandwich and that was outta control delicious! I also tried a pizza too and that was one of the better pizzas I tried in Miami! Great small place. Highly recommended for all.

Went for lunch today. Very quaint and relaxed environment which is right up my alley! The service was amazing, the waitress was very nice and one of the owners I assume was very attentive (I didn't get his name) I had the stuffed mushrooms (mmmmm) and Manicotti (cheese lovers heaven!) A bit pricey, but for the quality of service and food (always fresh) I didn't mind paying. Cannot wait to go again, and try something different.

After receiving a Yelp email listing new restaurants I saw Little Louie's Italian Restaurant in the short time they had been open they had ratings of 4 to 5 stars. It was a drive for me but was located in my old stomping ground. Cute little restaurant with the nicest owner. Had the lunch special...got 2 slices of pizza with Bacon & Mushroom. I love pizza & have just a few other restaurants that I consider them having great pizza, Little Louies will be one of them. I was blown away. Nice big slices, not too much sauce & perfectly cooked chewy crust. I can't stand places that serve burnt, over cooked crusts. Not here. Loved my experience so much, I've been back several times.

Went back last night, and now I'm sure this is the best pizza in the area, great service, and awesome atmosphere. Try Louie's Favorite. Cheers guys you all are awesome!

Went a second time and it was much much better, awesome service and awesome food! The owner came by our table, made sure everything was good. We had chicken parmesan and a small cheese pizza. They told us the crust had Newcastle in it, it was delicious even cold the next day.

What a shame. Ordered delivery when this placed first opened and it took over an hr, they forgot garlic rolls and food wasn't good. Gave them a 2nd chance last night with take out order. Called at 7:30 and was told 20 minutes. Hubby went and it ended up being 50 minutes. Got home, pizza was cold and didn't taste good. First time this pizza lover doesn't finish a slice. Got two batches of garlic rolls. Looked and tasted like from two different restaurants. One was good, other had weird taste. Fettuccine Alfredo was horrible. Greasy, no salt. Penne a la Vodka also not good and had huge chunks of onions. Manicotti was the lessor of all the evils but again low salt amd thus low taste. I would love nothing more for this restaurant so close to home to get their act together but two tries years apart and they do not seem to know what they are doing. Also sent a soup instead of salad we ordered. We ended up throwing almost all the food away along with our $50.

Great dinner tonight!! Owner and staff were very attentive and they make patrons feel welcome. We normally order and have our food at home but we decided to eat in the restaurant tonight... Good choice.

I had heard about this place from a friend. I happened to be in the neighborhood, so I called for pickup. I got there early, and the service was great. Friendly, neighborhood pizza place. I ordered the 5 cheese pizza and it was amazing. I'm a huge fan of garlic rolls, so I was disappointed in the fact that their garlic rolls weren't crunchy on the outside. Then I tried the spinach pinwheel and everything was good again. I would go back just for the pinwheels. I assume all the pizza is good. This is gonna be my new pizza place.

Incredibly great tasting food, from start to finish. Great value and almost too big of servings. Service was outstanding. We felt like we found A new local treasure but are tourists just passing through. Wish we lived nearby. Grouper, salads, and pasta were all great. Great vinaigrette on salads

  • Jen A.

Delicious!! The portions are huge and very well priced. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned.

  • Stephanie B.

The girl at the front answers the phone with an attitude and is even more rude in person. The pizza wasn't that great it was really greasy and hard to bite into, almost like it was stale. The people who owned the pizza shop before was wayyy better! I have to admit the garlic rolls were pretty good. Sadly this isn't a place I would revisit for pizza.

I have always been an avid yelp user but never felt the need to write a review. But this place was so friendly and such a welcoming atmosphere I couldn't help it. In all honesty, the best service I have experienced in Miami the 6 years I have been here. Great family owned restaurant with food that is just as great as the service. All that at a affordable prices. If you get the chance you have to give this place a try (especially the ossobucco).

HANDS DOWN BEST PIZZA IN MIAMI!, theres a reason everyone rates this place 5 stars!!! Never thought i would discover such an amazing italian and pizza restaurant tucked in a shopping center right in my neighborhood!! Met the owner Mike, super cool guy, super friendly, amazing service! I felt like i was at home!

Great place great food and great service. From the moment I walked in. The place has some nice tables out side. Inside decor is really nice and the kitchen is open so you can see how they prepare the food also very important to me is that the place is clean. We order fried calamari & garlic rolls the came to table in about 7 minutes. For diner I had baked manicotti very good and plentiful.

I've only had the pizza here and all I can say is that it's pretty fantastic! Perfect amount of cheese and sauce and toppings, the crust was perfect and the price was just right. Definitely worth checking out.

Came here due to Yelp review. We asked for an appetizer, mentioned that we would want that to come out first, the waitress put that order in and came an took our main order. We asked to share a full size salad, and we picked a pizza. After a bit of a wait... Of course the salad came first, we can live with that, then the appetizer, followed a minute later by the pizza, neither were hot. Food was OK, would have been better hot. Was it waitress or kitchen? Probably both. Not mad but won't be back.

We went to local supermarket for a few items and stopped here for lunch to discover new owners. Cleaner, better decor, more customer-friendly and oriented. Food was yummy. Again, much better than previous fare. Had meatball sub. My husband had stromboli sandwich. As any one can tell you that knows me, I am a fussy eater. I enjoyed and would go back. Support local, small business!!!

I've been here twice already and all I can say is wow!!! Amazing pizza and service. Also their pin wheels are the bomb, especially the spinach one. Great place and I give them a big thumbs up...

I had read great reviews about Little Louies on Yelp and it did not disappoint. It is a small restaurant in West Dade with fabulous food. Three of us went to dinner and ordered three different entrees. The entrees were all delicious and the garlic rolls they give prior to dinner were also just as good. The owner came around after dinner and asked if everything was to our liking, which it was. This is definitely a restaurant worth going to anytime your in the mood for Italian. The restaurant interior was very nicely decorated and very clean.

Came here yesterday with my husband to enjoy some good grub before visiting family in the community. The food was tasty and prepared fresh. We enjoyed the stuffed mushroom appetizer very much. The caprese panini and veggie panini were nicely packed. The tres leches was also delicious. Better than the food was the service. The waitress and owner were so friendly and hospitable. We would certainly return to the establishment and would recommend it highly to friends and family.

Could of been a 4 star but the fish I ordered was bland n tasted like Clorox yuk! Beside that pizza 4 star, lasagna 4 star, garlic rolls 4 star what does that tell you stay away from the fish. Not missing Mike's at all !!!!

Went there today paid with a $100 bill. They didn't have change so the owner passed the bill to another employee who stuck it in his pocket. After a while he pulls it out after he was out of view for a while and checks it with a pen tester. He asked me to change the bill. I said it has been out of view in someone else's pocket. He threatened to call the police. I said I wanted to see the video. He offered to play the video only to police. I said: call the police. Owner accused me of fleeing while I was standing there the whole time. These guys not only scammed me, I was detained by police for three hours in the back of a police car. I was eventually freed and the owners gave me a no trespassing warning. Totally uncalled for. Turns out they didn't even mention the video to police. When I mentioned it and the police requested to see the video, it had been deleted. I was unhancuffed after three hours. These guys are not ethical. They ripped me off and tried to get me arrested for $100.

I went today based on the Yelp reviews and was pleasantly surprised. One of the owners offered me a glass of wine and then proceeded to give me a huge slice of pizza. I'm like wow- where am I? Did he notice I was wiped out from work and hungry ? Anyway, I ordered take-out and all food was really good especially the fettuccine-----delicious! The spaghetti and meatballs was really good with the meatballs being very well seasoned. I'll definitely go back- wanna try the specialty pizzas.

Great food and amazing service. If you're looking for a restaurant with delicious food made with fresh ingredients then this is your place. Even their pizza is some of the best I've ever had. Anyone in the area should give this place a shot, you will surely not be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped by this place for a late dinner. We are from California but came to Miami to visit family. We went into the restaurant 25 minutes before they closed. I felt rushed so I told the server to just take our order to go so they could close on time. He assured us it was ok to eat in and we did. We ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza. My 10 year old cousin really loved the pizza. We also ordered chicken wings, they were huge and delicious! My husband says they are the best he's tasted. My niece ordered the pasta with cheese and bacon which was also delicious. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Unfortunately my dish wasn't that good. Lucky for me I enjoyed wings and a slice of pizza. Their garlic bread is also good! Def would come here again.

Based on what I've read here and at the word of a friend, we visited Little Louies this evening. We came from the Falls area a relative distance and hoped that the reviews would meet my expectations. And it certainly did. We all had a different dish from the eggplant parm, veal parm, meat balls and each was superb in taste, flavor and amount. The service was very nice and we found everyone there to be very friendly and welcoming. We also had a very nice house Chianti..Thanks for the reviews and we will certainly be back with more friends..

I am so sad about writing this, It took me 3 visits to make sure I gave my two cents about the latest on Little Louis Italian Kitchen... When this place opened, it was the bomb, service on point, the food was fantastic, I would go every single Friday.. a ritual... but now.. WHAT HAPPENED???? 1. salty food 2. overcooked pizza 3. super slow staff 4. running out of ingredients Let me not forget about sanitation, the kid making pizza while working on the dough takes breaks texting... nice one... on our last and final visit, the waitress waited util the pizza was done to tell us they ran out of basil.. they ran to publix while the pizza sat outside getting cold.. how nice... needles to say.. I am not going back.. I am back to square one on trying to find a good local pizzeria... the place was extremely hot, yet they have a portable AC unit by the bathrooms, which they need a clean up.. disgusting.... shame on you Little Louies... I had faith :/

Cozy quaint Italian restaurant located in the shops of Lakes of the Meadow (West Kendall). The portions were a perfect size. The baked grouper tasted phenomenal, and the salad it was accompanied with had a great variety including red onions, cucumber, black olives and tomatoes. The one downside was the promotion of a dish with asparagus, but they did not have any that night. The pricing was on point, and everything tasted delicious. I did try the garlic bread, pepperoni pizza and the fried calamari. All in all, I give this place two thumbs up.

Second time ordering from here. Absolutely love the pizza, crust is awesome!! Closest to NY pizza I've found in Miami.

I was overly satisfied with the food at Louies Italian Kitchen. I soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmthly by one of the workers who was very friendly and had a great attitude! He inquired about where we were from and initiated a great dinner experience. This is one of those places, that is hidden in the middle of Kendall, and everyone should experience. The food came out quick and the service overall was superb. I ordered the frutti di Pesce, and it was sooooooooo good! As appetizers, we also had the Antipasti. It was really well made. The ambience is fairly quiet, but it's definitely a place where you can come with a big group. There was so much savor in the food; really really really satisfied with the overall quality, service and food. I would definitely recommend it.

So I had this hankerin' for chicken parmigiana..... One thing I'm always on the hunt for is Mom and Pop Italian eateries. I scoured the desert of West-Tami Kendall (On Yelp of course!) and found this little place quite near my house. The reviews had me a little concerned, but my sense of Yelpiness (Yes, it's a word....) drove me onwards and straight into their parking lot. Located in Publix Shopping center on the south side of Bird Road and 152nd Ave, the place is quaint and family friendly. Whether you're dining alone or bringing your softball team in for lunch, you're getting a great welcome by the crew here. The smell of fresh baked pizza fills the air, and wait 'till you taste the garlic rolls, MAMA MIA!!! My first question as I walked in the door was, "How's your chicken parm?" The crew looked back at me and just smiled. A few minutes later, BAM! Chicken Parm happened. It was DELICIOMAZING™!! I took two pictures and couldn't really wait any longer. Suffice to say, there were no leftovers. The order came with your choice of pasta (penne was my choice) a salad (I picked Ceasar Salad, which was good.) and three huge, amazing, mouthwatering garlic rolls. I could definitely tell that the gravy (sauce, for y'all not familiar with the lingo) was home made. It was nice and thick, and full of yummy delicious flavor. Service is casual and friendly with no frills. In other words, just like any Mom and Pop place you like to go to. Come here enough and they'll start calling you by your name. Looks like this is the new addition to my weekly menu.... I think I'll pencil them in for Thursdays. PS - They have a really nice webpage where you can order from and pick up later. Their delivery area is limited, but they do that to keep the food fresh and their prices reasonable. Look them up here... littlelouiesitaliankitch… Remember to leave a nice tip in cash for these guys. They work hard to make your experience a nice one!

Found this gem here on Yelp based on location! First time there but will not be the last. Food was incredible. As a native NJ/"New Yorker" I prefer good Italian food and this met all expectations and more. The atmosphere was casual but cute comfortable and welcoming. The service was awesome. I loved the fact that they took time because it gave time to enjoy our company and you can tell that the food is made FRESH. Prices were very reasonable, actually the quality surpassed the actual prices! We enjoyed starters and entrees, but will return to try the pizza which looked delish! Loved loved loved this place!

Great food and prices. Exceptional customer service. Whenever they have made a mistake or are running late, the owner tries to make it right. We love coming here for pizza and the penne vodka is my favorite!

Absolutely love this place. To date (we have been there 4 times). Everything we've ordered there has been good. My favorite is the Stromboli classico! Holy smokes what a dish/meal. We usually get a cheese pizza for the kids (fantastic). My wife usually gets a pasta dish. Everyone loved the chicken wings for appetizers. The staff and the owner are really nice as well. Great little place for good food.

We ordered 2 pastas and a pizza.mpastas came with garlic rolls and a salad.. everything came out to like $40 with sodas..hands down new favorite italian spot for sure.

This is by far the BEST Italian food around. This place is a,weekly must do for my family. The service is excellent, and the staff is super friendly. If you are looking for great food in West Kendall, this is the place! ! In the corner shopping center with Publix om Bird Rd and 152 Ave

Went for the 2nd time yesterday. The staff and owner are fantastic and super friendly - they treat you like they value you as a customer and we're kind enough to give us garlic knots and drinks while we waited for our takeout pizza. The pizza is very good, and the 2nd time around I thought it was better than the first. Seeing as I am moving 2 min away I see myself frequenting this place quite often.

This local Italian restaurant is such a great spot. The sandwiches are delicious. We've had the sausage and peppers sandwich and it was amazing. Today we're having La Catalana pizza and the Miami Smokers pizza. Delicious!!

Amazing food, great talking to the Chef and Owners. Nice to know that the use quality foods to put amazing dishes out. This is going to be a constant in my life now, I had the Cobb salad and a ricotta meatball, while my boyfriend had their veal parmigiano dinner of course I had a bite of his and the breading, sauce and veal was perfect. The homemade rolls were to die for, go very hungry.

Ordered delivery from them yesterday and I am very pleased with my order. The delivery was 35 minutes, so it was very fast! Now I DEFINITELY recommend the Garlic rolls, good god they were incredible! So that is definitely a MUST! I also had the Sausage sandwich and it was great, just a TIP tell them to make it with cheese and it really makes it extra delicious.

We went on an adventure last night for dinner. We found this little place in West Kendall. The restaurant was small but clean and comfortable. The wait staff was right on with all our needs. The complimentary garlic rolls were fresh, soft and frankly delicious.. if we had known about the rolls we would not have ordered the Bruschetta. The Bruschetta was prepared to perfection. Our main dishes of the house lasagna and veal parm were well above standard grade. Well priced and worth coming back to..

YUM! That pretty much sums up our experience dining here. Delicious food, and great service. The owner, Mike, was so friendly and we had a great time talking with him! The rest of the staff was just as friendly. Seems like they have a really great crew working there. We decided to try this place out for an early dinner after seeing all the wonderful Yelp reviews. Our food was delicious, and all those great reviews are justly deserved. We had an order of garlic knots - YUM. We also had Caesar salad, which was great too. Their dressing is really creamy, and the salad is large enough to split, or be a whole meal. The lasagna is to die for. One piece is so filling. They do a really great job on portioning their meals perfectly. We loved this place and will definitely be coming back often!!

The first time I ate from here, we picked up some pizza and everyone loved it. One of the pizzas was the Miami smoker one and it was amazing. Second visit we ate inside and had no issues. Really don't remember what we had, but it was delicious. On the third visit is when things started going down hill. We ordered pizza to go over the phone and hung around after paying. It seemed to be taking much longer than it should have. That's when we noticed three boxes sitting on the table behind the cashier. We asked if it was ours and they half apologized and gave it to us. Of course when we got home, it was cold. The BBQ chicken pizza also had ham in it for some reason which my wife is trying to avoid. The other pizzas were just about average. And finally, my last visit. Placed an order for pick up again. They had it ready in a timely manner. Got home and my order was wrong. I was given cheese ravioli when I ordered beef, but was charged for the beef. To top it off, it was cold. I live 2 minutes away and started eating as soon as I got home. Must've grabbed someone else's order that had been sitting around. Probably won't be going back in the near future. They have to sort out the craziness at the front of the restaurant. There's way too many employees crammed in that small space and that may be the source of their issues.

2 hour wait and food was wrong. This place sucks. I tries to give it zero star, but yelp didn't let me.

This is one of my "go to" pizza spots in the area. After deciding to switch it up, I had their excellent tortellini. Great as usual.

The owner was super nice and talked me into giving it another chance after he read my review. He explain to me they had a off night and apologized. Amazing, I never had someone care so much. Places today don't value customer opinion anymore. We dined in. Service was amazing. Fast and polite. Always refilled waters without asking By far the freshest (not sure thats a word) garlic rolls I had in awhile We ordered pizzas, sausage and Hawaiian both were outstanding For dessert we had cannoli and chocolate cake both were fresh and good. I don't live in the area but If I'm in miami again. I would def stop by. P.s they have crushed ice AMAZING

My favorite Italian restaurant hands down, great portions and the food is authentic. Pricing is never a problem, which is also great! The owner is always there and he is very friendly and funny. Love the vibes I get when I go.

Awesome italian restaurant near home! Im glad there is this great restaurant close to me with homemade food that is delicious. This is my first visit after looking at yelp reviews. Im sold on the food and good service from a small location. I ordered Frutti de mari and lasagna! Both delicious! Ordered the frutti with capellini and it was sweet! The aroma was enticing when brought to the table! I even ordered a fresh slice that was crisp and tasty Lasagna was solid and tasty I would prefer it with more sauce which im sure can be ordered by request. Also very happy they offer wine and beer. Gotna nice.dogfish 90min to go with my meal. Will be back for more!

Best local pizza spot in the area! My favorite pizza has to be their Catalana pizza with ham, chorizo, and onions. Can't find anything like that elsewhere!! And their garlic rolls are incredible!! Top it off with their great service and you've got a winner! I tend to pick it up because it's super quick and right around the corner. Delivery can take a little longer, but those garlic rolls are definitely worth the wait. Keep it up Little Louie's! Did I mention their garlic rolls are awesome? Just making sure....

First time ordering online from this place. The order took 1 hour and 20 minutes to be delivered. I called several times and they kept telling me order was arriving in 5 minutes. Food was OK , I ordered a large cheese pizza, lasagna and penne a LA vodka. My kids did not like the pizza at all. Definitely not worth the long wait. Never ordering again from this place.

My first experience was not a pleasant one. After seeing this place since it opened, (I shop at the Publix next door) I looked on Yelp and it was given great reviews. I went today with my Mum and Sister for lunch and were turned away due to a "private party". I wasn't even given the option for take out. The restaurant is quite small, with only a handful of tables. Therefore the party took up nearly the entire restaurant and there were maybe 15 people. Someone pointed out that there was a sign stating it was closed, however it was on the floor. I'm sorry, however I am not in the habit of walking looking down. First and last visit.

This restaurant is conveniently located 2 blocks from my house so everytime I decide to make it a pizza night I just order from here and within 20 minutes the pizza is ready which beats ordering dominos or pizza hut. The pastas are also good but not the best I've ever had but it does the job when I'm craving it. I have never actually sat to eat at the restaurant but I have been in for take out and it always looks very clean and the staff is extremely friendly.

Planned to cut a cake for my sons birthday and had about 7 people over, trying to decide what to order for food.... Cuban?, chop chop? Pizza????? So we decided Italian, lasagna to be exact. Called 2 brothers, my fav place, but they were closed on Monday!!!! Someone mentioned Little Louie's, a new place by her house. So I called and ordered the lasagnas and they delivered! Let me tell you!!!, the lasagnas were amazing, salads were fresh and the garlic rolls rocked! The best lasagna that I have had in a long long time!! My new favorite Italian place, Little Louie's!! Thanks !!!

Food is great. Some days I eat pasta other days I order pizza for delivery. Garlic rolls are delicious but they do tend to run out. Menu has a lot of options..... Dogfish 90 minute also runs out. They do have a few bottled beers to choose from.

Decided to give this place a try based on some of the reviews and a friend's recommendation. I've ordered takeout pizza 2 times, and so far 2 strikes. The food is okay, not great. The first time we ordered 2 pies. The wait was not what they published (50 minutes published vs 90+ minutes actual). Finally got the pizza and when I get home, one of the pizzas was made incorrectly. Called back and they said no problem, wrote my name down and said I have a credit for any pizza I want next time I order. Pizza was pretty good though, so I say to myself I'll give them another try. Second time I ordered 2 XL pies. Get there and the order was on time +/- 5 mins. However, I get one L and one XL. Point this out to the manager and he says to the cashier... "Just give him $2 back." Uh... Excuse me? I ordered 2 XL pizzas for a reason. What am I supposed to feed the X number of people at my house? It's amazing how some things just don't register with some people. Will I give them one more try? Maybe. Should I? Maybe not. Hopefully the third time won't be another strike!

I don't give 5 stars to many places because there's always room for improvement, but I couldn't really find anything to take that 1 star away. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and catered to, our waitress who apparently was new was very attentive and polite. It had its flow of customers but it was just how I like it small, quiet, not crowded! They immediately brought us some garlic rolls which were very good I can still taste the garlic(ugh) We decided to go with the Spaghetti & Meatballs and the Chicken Champagne (amazing) it took a bit to get to our table which is always a good sign they're not microwaving it. The food was DELICIOUS!! The portions were perfect and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food you're getting. I will without a doubt come back. They could however improve their dessert menu. Perhaps some Italian classics , tiramisu, spumoni, cannoli

I have tried different dishes here in different visits and I still do not like it.. The fetuccini alfredo swims in garlic and butter.. No flavor whatsoever... The new fetuccini primavera swims in oil.. No flavor at all... I ordered carryout and the garlic bread was not included.. Instead they put a small piece of cake... It must have been about to expire soon... It was stale, dry... Yucky! Sorry but will not try this place again...

I've ordered delivery from here several times and it is very fresh. The delivery time was about the standard for any other place. I recently placed a very large order for a party. The staff was polite and answered all of my questions. The food arrived exactly at the time I wanted it delivered with the lasagna hot and ready to be served. The delivery guy even volunteered to carry the hot and heavy tray inside my house for me. The lasagna was meaty and you could see the slices of real Italian sausage between the layers. My guests particularly liked it because it wasn't too saucy. The companion salad was almost too pretty to eat and the Italian dressing was amazing - a little sweet but everyone loved it. My only complaint was that the garlic rolls were a little dry - which has never happened to me before when I've ordered from them. The pizza was amazing. I will be ordering from them again and definitely will recommend them for catered events in the future.

Just had dinner delivered from here. Order arrived in about an hour. Phone Etiquette was excellent. Delivery Guy was pleasant and professional. Things my hubs and I ordered: Stromboli (pepperoni, sausage and peppers) which was delicious! Very well stuffed and a very good size! Manicotti with Alfredo sauce- was good, very cheesy but I would have preferred more sauce. Medium extra cheese and garlic pizza with mushrooms on half. Requested it was cooked well done. Awesome! Garlic gives it an amazing kick but it was like dollops of minced garlic so I spread it all around the slice. Sauce was definitely close to real NY pizza sauce. The order came with garlic rolls which were good but not buttery (you may not like it if you are into buttery rolls). Delivery fee was $3 but everything came well packaged and in a relatively reasonable time. Have never eaten at the restaurant before but I am really looking forward to it!

I wanted to try some place new and decided on Little Louie's for delivery. The gentleman that took my order was very nice. He said my order would be delivered in about 45-50 minutes but it got here in 30. I ordered a large New York style pizza and garlic rolls. Everything arrived hot and it was delicious. Will be ordering from here again.

Johnny & Mike (formerly of Pucci's) have opened their own location and perfected their art! Everything was awesome and cooked to perfection. It's old school friendly, a place to relax and enjoy some really good Italian food. The chicken parm was excellent, shrimp scampi delish, pasta fagioli very tasty, and then the desserts! Little Louie's is Pucci's squared *****

I've been coming here since they opened, and they get better every time. The service is always friendly, and the owner makes it a point to make you feel at home. Food is fresh and made to order (don't expect a quick meal, but it's worth it!) I've never left here without being completely stuffed! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Where do I begin! For me to make that drive to Kendall better be worth some good grub!!! The fact that I've been there about 8-9x since they opened says a lot.. Great great priced food especially for the quality.. Insane service. I didn't even feel like I was still in south florida.. And the vibe was just right.. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants good affordable food and a chill laid back environment with funny & friendly service. Great spot! The pinwheels are amazing! And so are the mini cup cakes!!! I'm a sucker for some sweetness.. Lol

Terrible service. Took forever. Ordered eggplant rolatini got a tasteless eggplant parm. The entire staff is in high school and the waitress has no clue about the food. Took 10 minutes to get my bill. Wanted to order lasagna and they completely ran out of it. Really!! I should have just gone to a Olive Garden and had a much better experience. I have no idea why the reviews for this place are so high. Maybe west Kendall is an bizzaro universe were terrible is wonderful.

The pizza here is by far my favorite in Miami and it is always fresh and delicious. They offer a great lunch special and carry all of my favorite craft beers like Breckenridge, Anchor Steam, Magic Hat, and DogFish. They are very friendly and support other local businesses like Miami smokers bacon and meats. Which I really like and why I like smaller businesses. I always enjoy coming here for lunch dinner or for a hot slice on the way home from shopping at Publix.

So we move out of Kendall to then spend more time in Kendall eating and hearing about grest local spots to munch! What gives! Well...do not get scared becuase you see sw 157th ave, it is worth the drive. So finding a good Italian place can be a hard thing to do. Do you go fancy schmancy or look for a value place. They each have their place in my hearts but the value usually wins with me. Now one might think that with value comes cheap food and tiny portions. You could not be more wrong with Little Louies! This hidden gem of a restaurant fires on all cylinders. So here is the skinny...lol..i just had to say that. It was lunchtime and headed to the movies so the question was where to eat? My lovely wife suggested this place when she read up about it. I was sold! Great reviews and word of mouth did it for me. We walked in and were greeted with a friendly smile and sat down right away. A very nice place that almost felt like home. Now we had to see what to eat. I usually go straight for the pizza. Why? BEcause if an italian place cannot do pizza right then shame on them. My wife went for the chicken parmesean and we had some garlic rolls to start. Silence fell over the table as the food came and then shortly followed by ohhss and ahhhs...and Nomnomnom's. TO sum it up. IT was delicious! Pizza was on point! Rolls were on point! Chicken Parmesean was on point! 3 for 3! So now the question is when can i go back? Counting the days until our return. Great job guys! Keep it up!

Ever since my girlfriend convinced me to go to this little quaint pizza place; I am definitely fan!!!! Notice I was clear in describing them as a "Pizza" Place - as that is what I consider them. We recently returned there for the 5th or 6th time and had pasta and definitley left something to be desired. However, that aside - their Pizza is GREAT. For a neighborhood fare it is highly recommended. Their pizza is always very fresh, their sauces - whether red, white or simply the olive oil based pizza are all well prepared and flavorful. The crust is just the right thickness - not too thin not too thick and a compbination of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Furthermore, their starter garlic rolls are also quite good! Overall great authentic italian comfort pizza!!! Individual Ratings: Ambiance: 3.5 Wine List/Bar: 4 - Great Beer Selection Food: 4.5 Service: 4 Bon Appétit...

When my girlfriend and I first stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted right away. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic. The place is clean. The menus are clean. The silverware was clean. They also have the good ice! Nice and small chunks, just melts in your mouth. We first got some garlic rolls, nothing out of this world but it wasn't bad. We ordered the medium cheese pizza with rioccota cheese and bacon. It was amazing. One of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. It was thin and the sauce to crust ratio was perfect. We only waited about 10 minutes for our order to get to us. Our waitress was on point with her refills, never had an empyty glass. And most importantly, the price for the medium pizza was only around $10-12 depending on your toppings, which is relatively cheap. Overall we will be going back to try something new!!!

Hands down the best pizza I've had in Miami so far, affordable prices and the service is great. Cozy ambient and good music! 100% recommend. The smell of fresh baked pizza is INSANE. Awesome place!

First of all the staff was very friendly and the waiter was great. The pizza was awesome and the Stromboli was very good. But apparently they were busy delivering to the new jumping jumparoo place across the street. So it took over 40 minutes for us to get the pizza. Our main issue is they didn't tell us this until we had already waited for half an hour. We had kids and were hoping for a quick pizza dinner. The long wait was rough and the kids started getting hungry and fussy.

Little Louies is a little gem in West Kendall..we were in the mood for Italian and found them through Yelp.. Best pizza and garlic rolls we've had in a long time!! They use SUPER fresh ingredients and their service is fantastic. I've also used them to cater 2 parties and they knew exactly what we needed and delivered on point each time!! I HIGHLY recommend this place!! GO LITTLE LOUIES!!!!

This is as authentic as it gets! Everything that you order, from the soups to the pasta is simply delicious. My personal favorite is the Francese. The one complaint I have is their garlic bread, which for me has too much garlic, so instead I order without the garlic. Keep up the good work Little Louie's!

Highly recommend this place! The food is simply amazing and mouth watering! You can never go wrong with any of the dishes. The calamari is lightly breaded and fresh. The beef braised ravioli is out of this world! Not to mention the Frutti Di Mare: an array of clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, crab legs. All sautéed in a rich marinera sauce with your choice of pasta. To finalize, the atmosphere is relaxing and feels like a mom and pops shop. Best service!

I love this little Italian place. It is not a huge place but the staff is really nice and attentive. The Meatballs are addicting. I ALWAYS WANT TO BE ABLE TO EAT IT ALL BUT I JUST CAN'T. I love the savory lasagna. The calamari Is fresh and crisp. Even the salad is good. The pizza is thin and crispy and they serve a lot. The white lasagna is really good too. Even if it's a little out of my way I try to make it there everytime I want Italian food. You can order to go and they deliver as well. The prices are reasonable and the slices of pizza are generous. The flan is homemade. The canoli is good too. I totally recommend.

You walk into this place, and it's like home. The owner himself greets every single customer like they are family. The hospitality trickles down to the entire staff - super friendly! The food and service are impeccable. It all tastes super fresh and their way of cooking - their recipes - are unbelievably delicious. And it's all pretty affordable. I promise you that you'll walk out of Little Louie's Italian Kitchen with satisfied tongues and stomachs, and a huge smile on your face. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Been here a few times before writing this review but I got to give them credit for being very nice and friendly with good service of a small local italian spot everytime I have been there. Thats main reason I elevated that to a four star rating . Great garlic rolls might be my new favorite. Big fan of the stromboli, tasty and cooked well, not chewy plenty of meat and veggies. Pizza is usually good not great, my family likes the Hawaiian but i really enjoy their Louies favorite specialty pizza, very tasty. Its close to home so I'll definitely keep going back.

After a very high recommendation from a good friend, I decided to dive in & have them cater my birthday party without even trying their food. I was a bit nervous but after speaking to Mike (the owner) and hearing how good the food is from my friend, I felt okay. The food was delivered on time and I was so surprised with how much food I got!!! I got pizzas, lasagna, garlic rolls, salad, and meatballs. The meatballs were a special request made by me and Mike assured me I would be happy with them & man, was he right!!!! The food was a hit at my party and till this day, my guests are still talking about it. Working out my catering with Mike was easy! He was very nice, enthusiastic, and truly cares about his business. The food was fresh and tasty. I HIGHLY recommend Little Louie's for their catering!!!! :)

The owner made everything right - I was unsatisfied with my pizza, called the restaurant and he, himself, not only brought me a new pizza at my home but also brought complimentary garlic rolls and dessert to "sweeten the deal". He knows what good customer service is and how to take care of his customers.

Two words: GARLIC BREAD!!!!!!! They are the "go to" place for the jumbo sized fluffy garlic rolls. The service is great. From the girl answering the phone when I place an order to pickup/deliver to the waiters when I dine in. Everyone is always smiling and striking up conversation. Mike (the owner) is so dedicated to his business. Always making sure the customer is satisfied. The pasta is fresh but my favorite is the fettucini cabonara. The pizza is always crispy and the calzones are huge and filling. Truly recommend this joint for a casual date night or even to take the family out. Keep it up little louies team!!!!!!

So they messed up our order. No fun, but it happens. In this case I'm glad it did because the way they handled their mistake was exceptional. Mike (the manager? Owner?) came to us immediately and apologized. And then made sure everything was cooked to our liking. And let me tell you, it was most definitely to our liking! Don't let the humble location fool you. This place has great food, amazing service, and a real friendly neighborhood vibe. Yes, the garlic rolls are to die for. Yes, they offer Alfredo sauce on Manicotti (weird, but hey... apparently lots of people like it that way). Yes, they deliver. We will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

Best Italian restaurant in Miami! The garlic rolls are to die for. I've had the fettucini alfredo w/ chicken....super rich and delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs are great too (comes with 2 huge meatballs). The baked ravioli tastes amazing. The lasagna is much like one you will find in New York, as well as the pizza. Everything here is extremely fresh. It's hard to have such an amazing restaurant without such an amazing chef...with that being said Little Louie's has it all! Definitely my top pick when I have an Italian food craving!

Every meal I have had here is better than the prior. Meatballs are awesome, the fra diablo sauce is declicious. calzone is the best and the pizza is great. Honestly made living out west complete becuase we now have a fantastic italian restuarant and do not have to drive out to the Gables.

If you've been to Italy or have an extensive Italian blood line and know what authentic Italian food tastes like then you will not like anything but the garlic rolls at this restaurant. I need my Nonna to teach them a thing or 2. Let's start with the fact that cannelloni's should not be made with Alfredo sauce... Wtf? The pasta was over cooked and the ricotta tasted like it was made 2 days before, dry and stale. The chicken Marsala sauce my fiancé ordered looked extremely watered down. Overall, you get a decent amount of food for the money however for me it's about quality not quantity...

I came to learn about this restaurant through a friend of mine and have to say that it's a gem in the heart of SW Miami. There are very few the times that you will actually see the owner help prep, cook, and oversee what's leaving the kitchen. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. It was made in front of me and served with no delays. I highly recommend this place for a family outing for a quick bite to eat.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
