    This place is the pits. I walked half a mile from my hotel to this KFC. I arrived at 7.00pm and the place was in darkness. I had seen someone walk into the restaurant as I was approaching. On the door it said they were open until 8.30pm. I tried the door and it was not locked so I went in and asked if they were open. The staff behind the counter were talking amongst themselves, then one of them shouted that they were closed. I asked what time they are open and was rudely informed they open at 10.00am... When and if they do open, they have lost a customer for life. Ignorant staff that do not deserve to be employed... anywhere.

    Kentucky, Kentucky, awe just love saying the name. One of my favorite state's, it's so pretty. This location finally opened and I can not begin to tell you how excited I was. Located downtown right on Flagler, good size restaurant. Who does not like Kentucky Fried Chicken? Well, maybe some do not but I love me some Chicken. This is the ONLY place I eat Fried Chicken from. Normally I eat grilled chicken but oh they make such great Original recipe Chicken. They normally have daily specials on buckets which makes eating for a family so much easier. For many years we have picked up buckets of chicken with our sides. OK, I must admit I am obsessed with their coleslaw, nobody makes better IMO. Creamy, great taste and flavor with perfect amounts of each ingredient. Then the mashed potatoes and gravy, no they are not my potatoes but not bad. The Colonel's secret recipe is amazing. Fan for many many years. If we do not feel like dining out I call hubby and he picks up a bucket with extra leg's because I love me some good leg's. And this is my choice, normally they charge you a bit more for leg's but I don't mind, they are so worth it. One day we dined inside and they have specials on two or three piece platters for very reasonable. I think they offer great prices, great food, that is very consistent. Wonderful to have you Downtown. See you again and again!

    I'm not a KFC guy. In fact, I'm proud to be a Church's guy. But the fact is this: - Church's chicken are all located in ghettoes in Miami. - I get more coupons in the mail for Popeye's (out of the way), then KFC, and THEN Church's. And to try to eat healthy, I ONLY eat fried chicken when I'm saving some buck so I won't eat it SOOOO often! *guilt pleasure* And so, I received a coupon for KFC. I grumbled since I remembered the bad experience at KFC of stale biscuits and tasteless and greasy chicken at their South Miami location off of US 1 and Red Road. Somewhere around there. And then I figured I'd try the new place I saw open up in downtown since it's now the closest fried chicken place to me. Results: + Nice interior design for a fast food place. Reminded me of Burger King's new look. It's all clean, sharp-looking, and modern. + Chicken improved? I'm sure I don't know what I'm talking about - but I actually enjoyed the chicken. Maybe it was because I ordered the crispy version instead of the regular? Crispy is good in my book. - The biscuits... frankly... still sucks. Seriously - they need to offer options for people to substitute their biscuit for something else. At least it wasn't stale but I felt like I was just munching in a ball of calories and nothing else. And yeah, I'm reviewing this to get another one of those *First Reviewed* points up! ;)

    First off, I eat relatively healthy, however when I'm in my fried chicken craving I'll go to great lengths to get it. Tried to go in at 720pm. Sign says open to 8:30, even had the "open" hanging in window. Guy behind counter waves as if to "shoo" me off. Wonderful

    This restaurant doesn't deserve even one star. I happen to be visiting an office in the area and stopped in to buy lunch. The entire appearance of the restaurant was awful--dirty floors and tables, full of street people putting dirty used cups up to the self-serve soda fountain, etc.. I ordered a meal with crispy chicken, two sides, a drink, and a biscuit. When the employee handed me my order, I should have given it right back to him and asked for my money back. The chicken looked old, dark, and greasy and the biscuit was a stale rock. Needless to say, I got severely sick from the food awhile after eating it. I had to leave work that day. I couldn't stop going to the bathroom. And, I was sick for a few days afterwards. I even wrote KFC Corporation to complain. They never responded. They didn't even offer me a free coupon on my next visit which I would have thrown out anyways. I have never eaten at another KFC Restaurant again. By the way, KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell are all owned under the same parent company. These companies are stinko in customer service relations. If you have a problem at any of these restaurants, good luck. They will never respond.
