Freaky fast service! Both in restaurant and delivery. The moment you walk in the restaurant, they're already welcoming you like if you've been friends for years. And as you order, within less than a minute, your order is already coming out at the other end. If you love sandwiches and want something fast for lunch, choose Jimmy's! Only comment I had, which kept me from giving a 5, is the "friendliness" of the deliverers. They are nice people and are super quick at delivering food. But, when visiting the restaurant, I know they're in a rush to make their next delivery but if I open the door, don't just barge through without saying excuse me, sorry, or thank you at least-- maybe a manner pickiness of mine but all I ask is for some type of response then just a run through.

If I could give a negative star, I would. Ordered a vegan wrap today, as part of a group office lunch (I would never chose Jimmy John's to begin with). What I received were two leaves of soggy iceberg lettuce, carelessly wrapped around a few skinny slices of cucumber, tomato and provolone cheese. The whole thing was drenched in watery mayo, disgusting. It went straight in the garbage. JJ needs to educate their employees on the meaning of vegan. Furthermore, lettuce and tomato do not qualify as "gourmet veggies". WTF? You're better off eating Burger King.

I like this place. I went in on a not so busy day and everyone was extremely nice. I ate inside the restaurant and enjoyed my peace and quiet time. This place is very clean is surrounded with lots of different fast food joints. Macy's is only feet away. The staff was very friendly to me. Or is it because I was the only one there at the time?

Ordered a sandwich and as the girl made it, she sneezed on it and all the ingredients. Then sneezed a couple more times but more off to the side. I stood there curious if she would remake the sandwich but she just wrapped it up and put it in front of me. I don't like to point things out to fast food service people as i feel its demeaning so i took the sandwich and would rather just throw it out and tell myself never to return again even though i live down the street. Sorry Jimmy Johns but I'm divorcing you.

The sandwiches taste really good because the bread is fresh and that mayo is really tasty. Cold cuts a fresh too. However, the kid making my sandwich stopped after cutting the bread to answer the dirty phone and then came back to make sandwiches with the same dirty glove on. Cross contamination is disgusting.imagine the cashier and all their delivery bike boys grabbing that phone before. Hate getting sick then wondering why.

The star rating is not based on the food, it is based on the "lack" of service. I called this location to get a few subs delivered to our hotel. We really do not know Miami and did not want to venture out late at night by ourselves. When I called to order, they told me that they did not deliver to our hotel because we were too far. I kid you not when I say we were less than a kilometer away. I know this, because we wended up walking there because we really wanted Jimmy Johns. Funny thing is, the very next day, the Jimmy Johns delivery guy was delivering subs to our hotel.

I can't think of a better place to grab a quick sub than Jimmy Johns. Count on fresh ingredients, as I've never had anything but a cool, fresh, crisp sub! Also count fast service... In house or delivery! Employees are always friendly and greet you as you enter & wave as you leave. As a creature of habit I always get the #15 Club Tuna w/a cold Dr Pepper (tho sometimes I live on the edge w/a Cherry Coke) and Salt & Vinegar Jimmy Chips.

I have always been a fan of Jimmy Johns Subs. There is something about that bread that reminds me of France. Oh, now I remember, it is a French bread or I think I read that somewhere. I also like that it is super fast. I like that I can get a pickle and have it scored in quarters. I haven't been disappointed yet. Just writing this review is making me crave a Jimmy Johns sub!

Had a quick lunch here with the wife. We were walking around downtown and had a hard time finding a place to eat on Saturday. We ordered two sandwiches, chips, and two drinks. I had the Vito which is pretty much an Italian sub and she had a veggie sandwich with cheese and avocado. We both loved how fresh the bread was and enjoyed our sandwiches and chips. The staff was friendly and we got a kick out of the guys delivering on bicycle. We did find the room leading to the restrooms a bit "scary."

Not.a.fan. The only thing that was good was the bread. I am pretty sure for $6, I can make a much better sandwich at home or let alone stop and get one from most sub shops around Miami that are 10 times better. Yes, they are fast, but who cares when your sub just looks thrown together and it more or less tasteless. Also, I asked for pickles on my sub, and they don't have them. Really? No pickles? That's a sub staple for me. Super loud inside too with everyone screaming at each other for no reason whatsoever. The second you step outside, bums are asking you for either money or your food. I'll pass.

The fastest sandwiches of my life. They have only forgotten my drink once, so I will deduct one star, but otherwise, my order always comes in 20 minutes or less. Sometimes, they arrive in 6 minutes. No lie, excellent speed.

Kinda funny that I'd do a review on JJ, but with so few choices downtown to eat I thought it was only right to give them a shout out. They have mastered the delivery system so one doesnt have to leave their home or office. It is no doubt the fastest fast food delivery i've ever seen. Food is what you would expect. It's a sub. Not the best sub you have ever had, but at the same time it is priced right and the bread is actually very good. Compared to Subway, JJ is wayyyyy better. Add their cherry peppers to your meal - you'll love it.

I ordered 3 sandwiches for $6.50 each online at 12:48pm today. They were delivered 18 minutes later, Good job! I was looking for a fast and affordable option, I think Jimmy John's is a good one. The overall experience was good and contrary to the over reviews I was happy with the taste of my sandwich. We also ordered a triple chocolate chunk cookie for $1.75, nothing exceptional but not bad too.

Free Smells. What do you think when you read something like that? Anyone "give out" free smells, but they will not be anything like the free smells you get from Jimmy John's. You don't go here for anything hot. You come to get a cold-cut sandwich on a sub roll or on sliced bread -- possibly with drink or chips. I always get the same exact thing every time I order: #1 - ham and swiss, no lettuce, add cucumbers, alfalfa (if in stock) and banana peppers This is my favorite sandwich. It doesn't even bother me that they don't use Boar's Head meats. This location delivers and they get you your order fast!

To my surprise, I went to order online and found out - after placing the order - that something didn't match- the prices!!! Jimmy Johns raised the prices to their sandwiches!!! without telling anyone!! did you know?! I believe their sandwiches are good but not that good for $8! in Publix you can eat a better one for less price! unbelievable!! I am out of you Jimmy Johns!!!!

"I'm ordering Jimmy John's for lunch again, sorry, and so are 4 other people in the office" "Thanks for the offer to order with you but I'm getting food from the "usual" place" "Have you tried them yet?" "Have you subscribed to their online website yet?" "Stop complaining about slow deliveries and order from Jimmy John's already!" These are the questions and comments I kept hearing week after week in the office. This place was the talk of the office, and I couldn't help but wonder what all the hype was about, except I knew for a fact that they DID in fact deliver quickly, as I saw my co-worker get his sandwich in 10 minutes, literally. Since I don't eat bread and they didn't have pita wraps, I decided to try the low-carb Unwich, which are big lettuce leaves, wrapped and stuffed with whatever ingredients you choose from their menu, and I chose the Totally Tuna. It arrived quickly and the price was reasonable. The wrap was moist and delicious with their homemade sauce, cucumber, onion, crisp lettuce leaves, tomatoes, and alfalfa sprouts, which I love. My co-worker got the same thing and loved it, but she was so hungry after eating it that she said she would never again order from there. I was also hungry, I must admit. I could eat 2 or 3 of those wraps, like I do when I get the chicken lettuce wraps at PF Chang's, and maybe that's what I will do in the future, either get a side or a second wrap. I do wish they would expand their menu (hint, hint), and get pita wraps and full-sized salads as well. I think if they offered that in addition to their lettuce wraps and regular sandwiches, they would get a lot more business. This is the reason I did not give them 5 stars, because I like more variety but anything less than 4 stars would be unfair, as my meal was very tasty and left me wanting more. I was too hungry to even bother taking a picture of my meal to post with my review -- sorry, guys. I have to work until 8 PM tonight and it's only 2:20 right now. I have a limited amount of snacks here at my desk, so I am hoping that once I start digesting my food, the wrap will hold me over.

I used to go to Jimmy John's when I lived in Tampa for college, so when I saw that they were moving in on the same block as my office downtown, I was ecstatic. It's definitely in my Top 3 for places to grab lunch during the work week. The employees at this location are awesome. They always remember me, and most of the time, they remember my order. They're also like lightning. I'm usually in and out in less than 5 minutes. I've heard their delivery is really fast, and they send their guys out on bikes rather than making deliveries around the area on foot like most places do. Two things that I really love about Jimmy John's: 1. They have sprouts. OMG. I love it. Why doesn't every sub place have sprouts? and 2. They have the Unwich! On days when I'm watching carbs, or I'm not in the mood for the bread, I can get any of their sandwiches wrapped in lettuce. I usually eat it with a fork and knife rather than as a lettuce wrap. Favorites there: Love the roast beef, turkey tom, and totally tuna. They also have really good salt & vinegar chips, and sometimes I get a big pickle to go with lunch. The pickle always reminds me of elementary school when they would sell those jumbo sized pickles out of the giant jars after school.

Ok so I normally like Jimmy Johns they deliver within 5 minutes literally and they are tasty. Today however my order took about 45 min. I called 15 min after ordering wondering where my order was since they are usually so quick. The guy then tells me, "oh, we are about 20 min behind so it should be there soon". I try to be nice say thank you and laugh at the fact that I jumped the gun bc they normally are so quick. I call back 30 min later because my food is still not here and I get the same story but now it's not 20 min it been 45 min and they didn't even offer a discount a credit nothing, it's basically live with it. So my lunch hour is gone I am starving and typing this 1 HOUR after originally ordering a $10 (Overpriced) sanwich!!! I am sorry they are normally great on time but I am just annoyed that I called and called and they didn't even apoligize. It was like deal with it. And if your slogan is fast service and you are running extrememly behind I would appreciate a heads up when I place my order.

Awesome sub place! I work fairly close to Jimmy Johns and within less than 5 minutes there is someone arriving at the desk delivering the food! Its amazing. Subs are great, pretty good prices but the delivery is the best of all. I heard that they used to have a "box lunch" in which they would have a soda, cookie, sub and chips for about $10 back in the day so maybe they'll bring that back. Highly recommended. I love them!

Stumbled into this place on the way back from the courthouse---where it now occupies the space where the old Checkers used to be. I needed a quick bite, and this place did not disappoint. As soon as you open the doors, you are greated by a series of welcomes-which reminded me of Moe's way of greeting customers. An employee recommend the "Vito" sub, which is a good ol' fashioned Italian sub, made with Genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onion, lettuce tomato and with oil and vinegar. Although the meat is a little on the salty side, the quality is good and certainly tastes better than Subway, but certainly falls short of the some of the local mom & pop sandwhich shops . They have their own brand of kettle cooked chips, which were tasty. This is more of a "grab and go", type of place with limited seating. While waiting for your sub, take a look at the funny, kitschy signs strewn about the restaurant.

This place is so good and so fast I almost had it every day for lunch one week. Any time I find myself downtown by the Courthouse, I swing by for my favorite sandwich -- the Beach Club with no sprouts. Admittedly, there is nothing special about these sandwiches. I mean it's just a freshly baked baguette with just the right amount crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside. The ingredients are fresh and perfectly placed on the bread so the ingredients stay inside no matter how aggressively I bite into the sandwich. What I love about the sandwiches is the perfect balance of all the ingredients with the bread. mmmm. Do you work downtown and get caught up with your work, only to notice it's 12:30 and you're now STARVING? Do you find yourself searching the office kitchen for leftover saltines because you know that at that time it will take an hour for any downtown lunch spot to deliver? Try Jimmy John's. It expanded it's delivery area but the delivery guys speed around town on bikes. One time I ordered and received my sandwich in ten minutes. Whoever can satisfy this hungry girl's appetite in that kind of time has my undying loyalty forever. Thank you Jimmy, I love you.

My coworkers and I often order lunch here. Unfortunately, they don't deliver to Brickell, so we end up having to drive, which is inconvenient when you have time constraints. I really enjoy their "unwiches" which are served wrapped in a huge lettuce leaf instead of on bread. Really yummy, reasonably priced.. they only get 4 stars because their claim to fame is based on their ability to deliver, yet they are missing a key area that I feel is silly to cut out (Brickell).

This is not somewhere to sit down and eat lunch. Jimmy John's is a quick sandwich shop and this particular location has a small inside dining area a couple tables outside on the street. Both inside and outside is loud and uncomfortable. Getting your sandwich to go is the way to best enjoy JJ's. They are lightning fast and you will be in-and-out in less than 5 minutes. The sandwiches are decent, but not amazing. I keep coming back because of the convenience more than anything else, and would never go out of my way for JJ's. Its also worth pointing out that as far as basic no frills sandwiches go, JJ's does seem to always end up feeling kinda pricey.

I ordered a veggie sub and found traces of what smelled and (accidentally ending up in my mouth) tasted like bad tuna or sardines on my sandwich. I know mistakes happen but this one happened twice. Sometimes I believe in giving second chances. Maybe I should be a little more strict with this rule when it comes to food. Also, when they say a sub comes with Avocado, what they really mean to say is "Avocado Spread". Which has a heavy mix of some sort of spices in it and not in the good way. I haven't tried any of their other subs, however the sardine/tuna like concoction that ended up on my sandwich was off putting to say the least.

Jimmu John's, how I love and hate you all at the same time. I love the sandwiches here. The french bread is always good. Your only down fall are your prices. Just because you are located in Downtown does not mean you can gouge your prices. For the price I pay for a sandwich, chips, and a drink, I can get a real hot meal. To top it off, you slap on more condiments then actually deli meat or cheese! After I started seeing just how much I spend there, I decided to give it a rest. On a side note, do to their battle with Starbucks next store, I was informed by the manager of Starbucks that he has seen rats at this store. Rats go there because they dont lock up/store their food so that is the bigger reason why i stopped coming. The manager may be making this up so he can win in their war but I dont want to run that risk.

Jimmy Johns never ceases to amaze me with their lightning fast delivery! I work in downtown, on the top floor of my building, about 8 or 9 blocks away from their sub shop....still, they always manage to make my sandwich perfectly and get it to my mouth in under 15 minutes. The fact that their delivery is that fast merits the 5 stars..the delicious sandwiches, are just a bonus. If you work in downtown and are on a lunch time crunch, check them out. Oh....and you can order online! BonusX2!

This places annoys me. I hate the people and the atmosphere during lunch. There's yelling and screaming and throwing and all kinds of lost-in-the-jungle activity. I hate it. HOWEVER, damn the bread is good. I endure the visit just so I can sit at my desk back at work and eat the sandwich. I've always been a sucker for bread and Jimmy John's, unfortunately for my stress levels, has the best sandwich bread downtown.

Dear Jimmy. I luuuv your sandwiches. My Turkey Tom is just perfect if you 86 the mayo, and add onions, cheese, and extra sauce. It's sheer perfection and if you add salt and vinegar chips and a coke, a veritable food-gasm in my mouth. But I think you need less emphasis on the "freaky fast" and more emphasis on your employees ability to read an order ticket. I work downtown and have tried every which way to order my sandwich and ensure that it is correct when delivered. I used to phone in my order but that was no good because the sandwiches were wrong, so I switched to online ordering ad still hte sandwiches are not correct. So I started checking the sandwiches before the delivery guy left and letting him know that the sandwich was wrong, but they all just shrugged and said "Not my job." I tried calling the manager and the ONE time I was able to get him on the phone, he didn't care about correcting what appears to be a systemic problem, but instead wanted to send out the sprouts that were missing my Turkey Tom (no offer to fix the offensive mayo I requested to be left off (and why oh why are the sprouts missing nearly half the time anyway?)). So Jimmy, believe me when I say I love you and your sandwiches, but I would love them a whole lot more if your employees would read the damn tickets. Love, me.

Placed my order online for lunch at 11:02 A.M. for delivery between 11:30 -12. 11:10 my order arrives. W T F!? And my sandwhich was delicious! You can't beat that with a baseball bat!

If you work in downtown Miami and want a quick delicious sub, look no further than Jimmy John's next to the courthouse. In my opinion the greatest thing about this place is the super fast delivery!!! Add to that a superb online ordering system and freshly sliced meats; everything is always fresh, including the french bread roll. I have ordered from this place several times and they somehow teleport into my cubicle in under 15 minutes. My favorites are the Italian Night Club and the Turkey Country Club. The sandwiches are always perfect, just how I order them. I also recommend their BBQ chips and for dessert try a large chocolate chip cookie. Forget Quiznos and Subway, if you want a REAL sandwich try Jimmy Johns!!!!

    (5)
  • Miguel G.

Their sandwiches are comparable to Quiznos except not toasted. I had a BLT and the bacon strips were nice and thick. My dad enjoyed his club Lulu very much. He thought it was better than Quiznos. Their service is speedy, their prices are resonable. Stop by and give em' a try.

Was at the museum of history in downtown and looking for a quick bite to eat, we were told to go to jimmy johns for sandwiches. I'm so glad we went there, they have super delicious sandwiches. I had a turkey, avocado spread, cucumber, bean sprouts, tomato on their fresh baked 7 grain thick toast. Good selection of sandwiches, and they also have lettuce wrap subs for the carb counter. cool little surfer vibe place.

This place is pretty inconsistent. I had written them off a few months ago after a bad tummy I attributed to a roast beef sandwich, but returned in desperation one hungry day when everything else was shut. I am happy to report that, as of late, they seem to be doing better as my stomach hasn't done any flips after lunch. The main reason I gave them another shot is the UNWICH. I love it, although I know it is a sandwich shop cheat as I am technically not having a sandwich but a rolled up salad instead. In my defense, it is so much easier to eat a rolled up salad whilst typing than having to utilize a knife and fork. (Though I do caution to try this at home before doing so in public, as it is an art.) Anyhow, if I am trying for a carb-free day/week (however long I can take it) - the Unwich is my answer to the sandwich, and I can only get it at Jimmy Johns. Tip: Lightning fast delivery! Seriously!

"delivery" at this location is a joke ... they dont deliver to places less than 2 miles away, and when i asked how far away they were (before finding the location myself) the guy doesnt answer my question and says, clearly annoyed, "we dont deliver to you man!"
