Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

I love Jamba Juice and this location always satisfies! The customer service is great and on point! I am a huge fan of their peanut butter mood smoothie and their belgian waffles! Can't wait to try their oatmeal soon!

Jamba juice is hands down my favorite smoothie establishment. I like that they have the blenders right in front and you can watch what goes into your smoothies. What I really like is that their menu is continuously evolving to the needs of their customers. I just got a text from them yesterday saying that they brought back the Matcha green tea blast. So I came in and ordered one and wow its so different from anything I've ever had. It really does have that green tea taste to it. The other smoothie joints tend to have drinks that taste overly processed and you just don't get that here at Jamba Juice. Pros: They always seem to use fresh fruits and veggies. They use REAL fruits and veggies in most of their smoothies. You can choose your protein source. Staff is friendly and wow they get into detail when you ask them about a specific drink. If you don't like you're drink, they'll remake it for you. $2 wrap Wednesdays are epic here and from what I'm told you need to come in early to get a wrap because they often sell out. Con's: The music inside is upbeat and fun but I can see how annoying it can get after a while because its so loud. Its small and theirs only space for 14 people to sit, inside and outside the store.

I had a long drive and needed a meal that I could drink. The guy behind the counter was great with helping me create perfect smoothie for what I was craving (banana, PB, strawberry and acai). He told me what would and wouldn't taste good and really wanted me to have the perfect smoothie. In the end. It was just what I wanted.... I know it was just a smoothie, but when hungry turns to hangry so quickly, this smoothie saved my mood for the night.

Good: There's tons of parking available in the Greenery Mall. There are dairy-free smoothies available and the one I had (Apples and Greens: carrots, spinach, bell pepper, kale, spirulina, lettuce, peaches, mangos, bananas) was tasty with a touch of sweet. My husband's Caribbean Passion (orange sherbert, strawberries, peaches) was good too. The caloric content is displayed and isn't too bad. Bad: The kids serving us didn't have it all together. The one at the register addressed my husband only and then gave him a total before I could get my order in. I spoke up to ask for my smoothie and he looked embarrassed but didn't apologize. The other employee creating the smoothies put them down and when I asked him which was which, he looked at me like I was insane. There was a sign on the door that advertised a coupon that you could use immediately. I texted the number and got a subscription to texts but no coupon.

horrible ALWAYS watered down smoothies. you guys use way too much juice when you make smoothies. need more fruit and less juice. I always have this problem

The staff is super friendly and the service is amazing. The company must set great goals in customer service. I started my diet. Jamba Juice is included on the diet for a juice for breakfast, rather than cookies. Although the Spinich doesn't taste as well as next door neighbors Don Pon's cafe con leche with butter bread, my heart thanks Jamba Juice. Oh those veggies are pricey...but so will a heart attack be. Super recommend this chain.

Carrot and Orange juice is my fave! Wish they had other fresh unpasteurized juices though!

The first thing that stood out to me is how polite and professional the staff is here. This is the first time that I've been to Jamba Juice (typically I would have someone pick it up for me) but the service alone will get me to return! The staff is always willing to offer suggestions, too. As far as the food and smoothies go, I'm always 100% satisfied with what I get. The oatmeal is always great for breakfast. The berry pecan is off the menu but that's the way to go! You have dried berries, cherries, pecan and brown sugar. Sweet but not overly sweet! The smoothies are awesome and there are a lot of classic choices, as well as unique flavors. My favorite (so far) are Pomegranate Power-Up and Razz Ma Tazz.

  • Gaby S.

Not the closest smoothie place to home but i really do love Jamba Juice. Anytime i come to this location the service is usually pretty quick and the staff is friendly and attentive. My all time fav is the raz ma tazz. They offer some breakfast items too which ive heard are pretty good.

I am a big fan of smoothies and juices but I dont think those are healthy/tasty.they use quacker which is Geneteclly modified. Also it doesnt taste fresh to me,It is ok if you just need a quick juice up and you have nowhere else to go,I would say its disant.

Be careful when paying! Sales people try to rip you off by pretending certain items come only in large. When confronted they say, my boss only allows me to offer large size.

I've always wanted to try Jamba Juice and today was the day.My cousin is a big fan of Jamba Juice he took me to the Jamba Juice location in the Greenery Mall the place is great and now for the moment you've been waiting for my Orange Dream Smoothie. It was so delicious the staff is friendly as well so this is my smoothie place from now on I love u Jamba Juice

  • Melanie U.

Smoothies are my weakness. Jamba does a great job in smoothies AND service. Once with my boyfriend(he's a bit indecisive) the cashier girl was incredibly helpful and patient with him choosing a smoothie. When you walk in, the whole staff (there's only 3 or 4 I believe) welcomes you in. I've only had the kale-rribean breeze and their Acai Primo bowls (which for some reason say they include strawberries but I've bought it 3 times and each time there have been 0 strawberries.) Both very good. My moms had the Greens and Ginger which she said was very good. I love the place regardless of anything the staff is so so pleasant and the drinks are great. One less star just because of those darn strawberries.

  • Marlene F.

I ordered the Pomegranate Paradise which was good and had a nice aftertaste. But the only problem I had was waiting 30 minutes to get one smoothie. There was only three people in front of me, and the guy working there was busy talking to his friends instead of making our smoothies. They had come in after all of us but he served his friends before the rest of us. The service here is complete crap. Wouldn't recommend coming here during busy hours like lunch.

  • Nia B.

Amazing atmosphere and the best customer service I've ever encountered. I refuse to get my smoothie any were else and the staff already has mine memorized! I've been to other Jamba Juices but the quality and great service at the greenery mall is outstanding .

  • Michelle C.

It just smells so yummy when you walk into this place! I still can't get over the fact that something so good for you can actually taste so good. I think of it as such a treat. I like the smoothies that have the strong berry flavors. They are priced reasonably, and have a lot of choices. I can't tell you if the frozen yogurt they use is great or not, because they don't sell it individually. But they use frozen yogurt as the base of many of their smoothies... and I'm here to report that they taste just fine!

Dear Jamba Juice, We have grown apart, my love. I fondly recall the halcyon days of our torrid coupling at your Miracle Mile abode, gazing sedulously into the pale fluorescence of your eyes as you processed your ripe fruits into a lustful frozen blend. Would that I might once again devour a Strawberry Surf Rider (TM) under your eaves, the astringent kiss of a warm sea-breeze upon my face! In search of a greater bounty, I switched outfits, and thus we were sundered. I searched wistfully for news of you, and came upon your nutritional information. In betrayed melancholia, I viewed your high calorie counts and the unwholesome sugary juices and sherbets you poured into your creations. The years passed, until a chilly night in the new year upon which I found myself at home, alone and weakened by a stomach ailment. A spark within me was rekindled in my delirium, and I drove my carriage to your outpost on a queer trail of melted lime-rock named Kendall in a land of dead shopping malls arrayed as mountains beyond mountains. Unable to contemplate solid food and desperate for a cold, fruity refreshment, I trembled as I walked to your counter and beseeched your forgiveness. As if a miracle from the great firmament, your sweet nectar came forth, and I drank wildly of it! I have learned a valuable lesson. Though our affair may never burn with its former intensity, you were there for me when no one else was, in my hour of need. For your loyalty, I will never forget you. Love always, Patrick L. P.S. - This review is dedicated, rather cheesily, to the inimitable "SAC."

The Orange and carrots juice is excellent, but they have no idea how to use the free drink option using the ISIS application for android phones, I wish their manager could give them a training, so there is no delay when using isis, then I will give you 5 stars.

I love Jamba juice.... This location is usually pretty quick, clean, and friendly.. Strawberries Wild is my all time favorite... Cold Buster is great if feeling a cold is coming...along with a wheat grass shot... my newly discovered favorite is the breakfast bowls... has granola and sliced bananas on top... wow. excellent, I've tried them all... do the text message to the jamba number... they send you text messages on holidays... a lot of buy-one-get-one-free offers... gotta love it

This has been my go-to stop on those early mornings where I might have to be in the Kendall area for some random task. I've tried so many of their shakes, usually sticking to the citrus-y stuff, or something with peach and mangoes. My favorites from the "Classics" menu include: Caribbean Passion Mango-a-go-go Peach Pleasure Strawberry Surf Rider From the "All-fruit": Mega Mango Peach Perfection The service is usually very good and extremely fast. Sometimes they'll ask if I wanna try the latest granola/pomegranate shake or yogurt, and I kindly deny. Well, there isn't much more to say besides this is probably my #1 smoothie shop. The parking is sometimes a pain, especially because the spots are so compact. Not enough to keep me away from a Strawberry Surf Rider, though!

    (5)
  • Chris S.

Very helpful with the various smoothies in regards to coming up with ideas on what to get based on likes/dislikes. Very quick with your order.

I stopped by on the way home from work to grab a smoothie for my four year old who apparently hadn't kept any food down all day. The service was quick. The employees were friendly The smoothies were tasty and of a good consistency. Everything was decently priced. A Downside - The sugar content in the smoothies is extremely high. Probably not a good place for the diabetic or those on a low-glycemic index diet. Oh, and really tiny parking spaces outside! Side note: They offer $1 oatmeal on Wednesdays!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Jamba Juice for smoothies! I have never in my life had a bad experience here. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The smoothies are fresh and delicious. And the customer service is great. I'll never forget the time I got a smoothie for my kids, which they graciously split into two cups for me. My son promptly spilled his not 15 feet from the door, so I went back in to buy a replacement one and they went and GAVE me a fresh one for him. Super nice! They have my loyalty forever.

It's been a while since we first laid eyes on each other. From the moment I walked in I knew that it was love at first site. Cue the spotlight, disco ball and cheesy love music. That's right. It happened - don't be jealous. Seriously though, I've tried Smoothie King (meh), Robeks (a close second) but nothing seems to compare. More locations, please! After being a loyal customer at a huge number of locations, I've come to realize that they have their off days (just as everyone else) but overall, the best "healthy" smoothies around. Now, I use quotations around the word "healthy" primarily because I've never looked at the nutritional menu but between the atmosphere, the menu and the clientele, one can't help but portray Jamba this way. When was the last time you saw a smoothie place dark and dreary? Jamba is bright and cheery with large fruit decals galore! Oh, and their cups are pretty awesome too. I look forward to Jambaisms - even if they don't get updated often. I digress, the atmosphere is like no other, with such rich and jubilant colours. As for the menu - never fear, they have something for everyone! Every visit meant a new drink to try and having gone there three or more times a week, you quickly try out the menu in it's entirety. Of course, there's a few items that I just won't venture to - but that's just because I don't like the ingredients. After all these years, I have complete fatih that I'll like anything I dare to try here. Don't forget to add your boost! All time fave: Mango-A-Go-Go. And now for the clientele. Sporty, hipster, businessy they've got them all. It's always packed (for obvious reasons) though the line moves well. These people clearly have everything down-pact as far as service goes. Come on, they even have paraphernalia! Who wouldn't want to own a Jamba cycling jersey or baby bottle?! P.S. You know you've been to an establishment so much that they know you by name. No worries though, even if they didn't - visit any Jamba and you'll see how much fun the employees are having and if they hated their job, you'd never be able to tell since everyone is always pleasant. Ah, the memories. PROTIP: Jamba Juice will save your life if at any point you ever have a sore throat.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to review this Jamba Juice location! I started coming here about 7 years ago, back when the staff cared a little more and the lines moved quickly. Over the years service began to slip, and so my visits became less and less frequent. I gave up on this place entirely for about 2 years when one of the juice girls was really rude to me. Turns out, she forgot to add juice to my smoothie...TWICE! When I asked her to make it again she was beyond pissed, and still didn't understand that smoothies aren't supposed to be hard and icy. Maybe it was her first week or something, but that's never the way to talk to a customer. So 2 years later I decide to give this place another chance. They've got a new menu that includes low calorie smoothies and I figure that it's time to give it another chance. What do I get? A smoothie so full of ice chips and whole raspberries that I can hardly drink it through a straw, and that's after I ask for them to blend it for extra time. Ugh, Jamba Juice, you really suck it.

For those far away from home, lost in the depths of Kendall and dying of thirst...there is this Jamba Juice located in a small strip mall down the road from the Dadeland mall. It's the only semi-healthy place around for miles. Quench your thirst. Nuff said.

    (3)
  • Mike D.

The key point about this place is that it tastes great because it's natural. They don't rely on lots of artificial sirups and ice like other places. Not all but many items are USDA Organic, and it's clear how much of a difference it makes, it tastes real and fresh. One less star because the ambiance, customer service and presentation could be better. But overall highly recommended!

  • Andre M.

Ask for a strawberry blended açaí smoothie! It rules!

  • Julie M.

I really love this place. It's clean, they have great options, and even when they're packed with people, the service is quick and consistent. There's only so much you can say about a juice/smoothie bar, but Jamba Juice is a fave of mine.

    (5)
  • Thien H.

In other states, the peppy Jamba Juice employees are a common occurrence. But I had grown so accustomed to Miami that these nice employees startled me with their friendliness in a good way. A great start to my day. The cashier guy smiled, made eye contact, and was good-natured. A winner in my book. I like the steel cut oats here. They have a nice bite, almost a pop to them. They also have cold pressed juices, smoothies, and pretty much anything you can think of made from fruit. They also accept competitor coupons here which I will have to keep in mind. The music was a little too loud, making it difficult to listen for my name. But I'm guessing the workers' ears are damaged from all that blending.

Great place , staff are always helpful when making a decision! Parking is horrible at this location but when attempting to be healthy this is worth it!
