I was starving! In town for the day and I love ceviche. I have a favorite place and compare it to that all the time, perhaps I shouldn't do that. Not as big a portion as I would've liked. It was spicy like I asked. You could taste the freshness in the fish. You have to drink the leche de tigre....that's a must.

We ordered for delivery by eat24 The ceviche was amazing !!!! The tiradito too I also order chicharron de pescado Wow !!! Delicious

Go have fun in this awesome place. Service is great, food is amazing (and we tried everything by now), service is great, you will see more colors on your plate than you knew existed, and the service is great. Also, the service is great, the price is right on the money, and the service is great. Service is great ;) One may ask at this juncture, "so what's with the four stars you do@&chbag?". To that I say that I'm a little sound sensitive and the A/C in the place generates quite an annoying hum. So much so that I have to get used to it every time we go. Just thought I'd bring it up, and when that is ever resolved, rest assured this will be bumped up to five stars. S

You know you got it bad when its been months since you have had food from a restaurant but yet still vividly remember the amazing food! Service was quick, drinks were amazing, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. We had a huge group (about 8 of us) and the waiter didn't mess up our order, he made sure everyone was attended to correctly, and also made sure our experience was great. Drinks are also on point, Pisco Sour is my all time favorite drink and they delivered. I loved that they had a TV but showed items from their menu! It's a great marketing idea, I was sitting there contemplating if and when I came back what I would have. The only issue was parking, but location is key and they are in downtown so already there isn't much to work with in that area. Definitely coming back though!

Came here today for an office lunch. We ordered sangria and a few appetizers. Totally recommend the grilled octopus and the 3 types of ceviche. As my entree, I ordered the lomo saltado with salad instead of rice and the meat was so flavorful and tender, one of the bests I've had. Service was great too.

Fun place, delicious Peruvian food and excellent service. The prices are moderate and the portions quite generous. All menu items have color photos so you know what you're ordering. One item you must get is the grilled octopus. Soooo tender, it melts on your tongue, just the right amount of salt and char. The assortment of three seafood causas (creamy mashed potatos filled with crab salad and topped with seafood and special sauce) is also great. For our entree, we ordered a weekly special, which was a whole red snapper, deep fried, topped with scallops, calamari and tamarind sauce. The sauce was awesome, but the fish being whole was a lot of work and messy. The photo made it look like it would be fileted, so our fault for not asking. What can I say, I am lazy and I don't like picking pin bones out of my mouth. Finally, for dessert, I had the Tres Leches, sweet, moist and a generous portion. My favorite part is always the meringue on top. If you're not a custard fan, you will be disappointed, because that is all they offer.

It is rare for me to eat at the same restaurant twice in a row but I could not resist their food again tonight. I had the mixed ceviche last night and it was great. Now i got the grilled octopus with street corn and yucca...yum!! staff is very friendly.

Read the reviews before we came here. No one is lying about the service. It's the best i have ever encountered thanks to our server Orlando and the rest of the staff. You might think, whatever tell me about the food, but food tastes better when you're happy and this place goes out of their way to make you happy. That being said, the food is impeccable. Grilled octopus is off the chain. The bartender is so great and introduced himself to us and brought us some badass drinks. I seriously want to come here every single week just to see these guys and give them business. Please eat here. You will not regret it.

Finally another great Peruvian restaurant in downtown Miami. Try their more simply made ceviche, especially with aji peppers. Good wine list and courteous staff.

I came here to practice my spanish. So I informed the server to only speak in spanish and I will order only in spanish. He kindly agreed and was really nice. I took a look at the menu and I knew I wanted ceviche. There are different types of ceviche's to choose from. I kept it simple and chose the Ceviche a La Nortena. While I waited for my Ceviche, the server brought me a little bowl of plantain chips and cancha (toasted andean chulpe corn). If you've never had cancha, it's crunchy. It's very good though and it's a great way to start your meal. My ceviche arrived and I took a photo, which I have posted. The presentation was really pretty to me. I ordered it spicy and it had just the right kick. If you are not a fan of spicy food, you can order the ceviche without peppers or you can have it made mild. The flavor was great. For dessert, I had the Mousse de chocolate. It was delicious. Many of the desserts are custard based so if you're not a fan of custard, I wouldn't recommend getting a dessert. Overall this was a great place and if you are a fan of peruvian food, you should check it out !! Happy eating!

We are in town for a vape convention and a nice guy on the street told us to try this place. It was amazing!!! Such an amazing atmosphere and the staff was so much fun. Besides that...the food was amazing. I plan on going a couple more times before we leave town. It is a must try!!!

This was a pleasant surprise. I am a big fan of Peruvian food and I have tried most of the decent Peruvian restaurants in Miami: El Chalan, Ceviche 105, Ceviche Piano, etc.... frankly, they are all pretty good. Came here for a business lunch, had not seen the yelp reviews... in fact didn't know anything about the place. The decor is nice, modern and clean. Reminds me a bit of Ceviche 105, which I guess is a good thing. The menu is HUGE, in fact its a bit overwhelming. It has pages and pages of items, each item in the menu has a picture that makes it look delicious... I couldn't help but wonder how long and how much it cost them to put this menu together. I am a fan of small menus with few items, but props for the hard work. We had their Embarcadero 41 ceviche, some grilled octopus and a grilled salmon. Everything was delicious... some of the best peruvian food I have ever had besides when visiting Peru. Service was OK, a bit slow for my liking. Our lunch took about 1 hour and a half, even though we did not have that much food. Will only go back for lunch on a slow work day. But definitely will be back. I highly recommend this place, its walking distance from brickell. The atmosphere is great, the menu is amazing and the food is almost as good as it looks on the menu. I prefer Embarcadero 41 to Ceviche 105, but both are great options to have around the corner. I used to LOVE Ceviche Piano but new management raised prices and it just isnt the same.

The food here is so delicious. Comparing with other restaurants. . This is one of best peruvian restaurants in Miami... service and special plates are very unique. I like it... and prices very good for the quality

Love the food. Do not love the service. On a related note, I am not an expert on Peruvian food, but the negative yelp reviews seem too one-sided to be legit. I wonder if the competitor around the corner who happens to be mentioned in the negative reviews is orchestrating them. On another side note, the old couple next to me who are taking about their sex life in Spanish (assuming I do not understand) has made this a night to remember.

These guys are the real deal. The food is absolutely delicious, and it is about as authentic as it gets. There are several other locations of Embarcadero 41 including locations in Lima and Ecuador. We stumbled past the restaurant last week, saw the plates of food the people inside were eating, and we decided to walk in and eat lunch at the bar. I'm not totally familiar with Peruvian food, so I asked the bartender a lot of questions. He steered us in the direction of a potato-wrapped crab meat appetizer and the grilled octopus. The potato had the consistency of gnocchi, and even though it seemed like the textures of potato and crab wouldn't work very well together, it was a surprisingly delicious dish. The octopus was incredible. It's the best octopus I've ever eaten in my life, and I've eaten Octopus in Italy. It was extremely tender and very well seasoned. Get the octopus if you come to this restaurant. For Ceviche we ordered a traditional and a ceviche in a tomato cream sauce made with ricotta. The traditional was really good, as expected. The tomato cream ceviche was something I had never experienced before, but I will be ordering it again. Overall we had a great experience with both the staff and the food, and we will be back next time we are in Miami.

  • Luis A.

Food is great. Like Ceviche 105 the recipes are not necessarily identical to what you would get it in Lima (Peru). The food philosophy is similar but different than Ceviche 105. It also has many more non-fish alternatives, which brings it closer to Lima (Peru). It is cheaper and much less crowded. To order for delivery, Embarcadero 41 needs to improve. Somebody needs to answer the phone quicker (maybe more than 1 line).

  • Maria A.

Fantastic high end Peruvian food. I would recommend the Causa, leche de tigre, pulpo a la parilla and Pretty much anything on that menu! Minus the lomo a la huncaina. While I love papa a la huncaina and lomo Saltado the two should never go together as a pasta dish!

  • Danielle I.

Today was my first time eating from here. My co workers and I each ordered different foods. One co worker ordered the causa de pollo (yum), I ordered the aji de camarones (drool), and my other co worker ordered the lomo saltado (he described it as amazing). Overall it was sooooo delicious! Definitely eating here again.

Awesome !!! we had the Scallops with Parmesan cheese and they were amazing. i had the 3 cheese Tacu Tacu with seafood and it was orgasmic. my Wife had the Tiradito and my Daughter the Lomo Saltado and we will definitely be back. the prices are perfect, not too cheap and not too much. they have a full bar and serve Pisco Sours that are very good.

This was a delivery. We ordered the causa fusion and the tacu tacu a los queso mariscos. First off, they gave us the wrong order. Whatever they gave us, did not fit the description of the menu and left us feeling confused and kind of queasy. The girl who took the order, took it correctly I saw it on the receipt, the kitchen is the culprit here. I guess the delivery guy could have mixed up the order but either way. For $45 my husband and I were very unsatisfied. Small portions. The flavors were interesting. Really sucks I really wanted this place to be good. Seriously disappointing. Now I'm heating up the oven to make a grocery store pizza.

My husband and I were craving some good Peruvian food, and we had heard great things about this place. They were not wrong! Service and food are great! We ordered pisco sour, parmesan scallops, grilled octopus, fusion causa duo, and ceviche embarcadero41. Food was to die for, except for the ceviche. It was not bad, but it wasn't good. We were a bit disappointed, because everything else was great.

I was more than impressed by this spot, I was floored. Everything you can expect from an excellent restaurant, great food, great service, great atmosphere. The price, of course, is a part of it, but you won't break the bank. Highly recommend it!

I am going to start this review with an observation, that I think is the only thing is missing in this restaurant.. PLEASE PLACE A BABY CHANGING TABLE ON THE RESTROOMS, it is actually very needy since is such a family friendly place. Other than that, As a Peruvian, and Peruvian food lover I can surely say that THIS HAS BECOME MY FAVORITE PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN MIAMI, I love the variety of food they have, plus the always excellent service and their manu with all those pictures of the dishes. I highly recommend the "pulpo a la parrilla, conchitas a la parmesana, causa ganadora de mistura, etc" the decor and music is very pleasant too, I always feel like in Lima. 100% recommended.

  • Adriana B.

Ready for my review.... Ceviche de corvina.... Amazingly fresh... Conchitas a la parmesana.... The best I've tried in Miami.... Pasta a la huancaina con lomo salteado THE BEST PLATE OF THE NIGHT.... And the arroz con mariscos... Also good but he pasta was better ... GREAT PERUVIAN RESTAURANT... Must try... The only bad note... There was a lot of smoke from the open kitchen in the restaurant's back section... Try sitting away from the kitchen when visiting...

I was not incredibly moved either direction, bad or good. Mediocre food, loud dining area, horrible parking make for a not so pleasant dining experience. Being charged (not mentioned on menu) for refills on soft drinks was just the last "straw," no pun intended. For great Peruvian food & great service you must go to another restaurant. Sorry, but there were too many drawbacks to give this place any more than two stars. Being quite generous as the pasta was so mushy and the appetizers were so horrible, that one star is what is truly merited.

I decided to go there on my birthday this year for lunch. I was pleased with it although I've been to the one in Peru and seeing that this new location is new I was fairly impressed. Im peruvian and I will tear apart any peruvian restaurant and this one has its flaws but very few. 1) the hostess that day was just horrible we walked in and she was on the phone we waited 10 minutes for her until a WAITRESS noticed me and she got us a table (PLEASE REHIRE) The appetizers were incredible! The causa con cangrejo was delish Tequenos de lomo were to die for and papa la huancaina was ehhh good but my dad makes it better lol I also had a Ceviche de Pescado and I was impressed. The best part was that it was happy hour and it was 2 for 1 drinks! I had a classic Pisco Sour and a maracuya sour. (BOTH STRONG AND GOOD) Just how I like it. I also tried the plates my parents and cousin had and they were very good. My father had a lomo saltado and the meat was just right. They didnt cut the onions the wrong way either (if you're a peruvian chef you know what I mean) All in all the waiter got a very nice tip. He was just great I think

The service was great, The waiter was very professional and polite. The presentation on the menu was superb The pictures make everything look delicious. I was not impressed with the food nor the portions. Cviche 105 continues to be #1 on my list.

Not impressed. Walked here due the the fact it was so close to our hotel. My fiancé and I both ordered different meals with seabass... They both were horrible. Good flavor but so dry and nothing flaky like the normal seabass we ordered. Our server was a delight food just not up to par.

  • Abe B.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and knowledgable bartender. I sat at the bar where the bartender was attentive, helpful and drinks were great. Having a 2 for 1 bar special definitely helps. I tried his recommendations of the seafood ceviche and the seafood bouillabaisse for dinner and I can honestly say it was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy some creative cooking. Next time I visit, I would like to see what else the chef can surprise me with. The only negative is, their menu is quite large, it's hard to figure out what you want. Nice thing is all menu items have pictures which look like artwork but seems more like an audition album then a menu. Must try good though. Keep it up Chef Huerta!!

Good! This would have landed at "3.5 stars" if I was allowed to rate it that way, but it just couldn't quite get there. Our party chose started with a sampler platter of mostly fried appetizers. This was a mixed bag. Scallops with cheese were tasty. Fried ceviche balls (for lack of a better term) were good. Fried shrimp were bland. These dishes needed something acidic, but didn't have it. And none of them had particularly good depth of flavor. I had the pulpo a la parrilla.Lovely flavors and spiciness. A bit too chewy than it ought to have been, I think. But this on its own would have been a four star dish nonetheless. Tried a bite of the lomo saltado. Based on that bite, I thought it was fine, but not special. Service was very attentive. I will likely return, though I'll steer clear of anything fried since I was underwhelmed by those dishes. A side note -- how puzzling that this is listed on Yelp as a "Brickell" restaurant. It is very firmly downtown.

I love this place and love the service. Last time I went 2 days ago I sat in the bar with my friend and Alex the bartender was very nice and attentive. Knew the menu and gave us very good suggestions. He even went out of his way, walk out from the restaurant to give me back my credit card that I had forgotten at the bar. Food was delicious. I had the risotto mmmmm and the tallarines verdes. The meat was outstanding delicious. Not a good fan of the ceviche there. Everything else perfect

  • Silvano E.

First and definitely last time I will order from them... Just horrible in every sense of the word, delivery took exactly 1hr and a half, food was tasteless and undercooked not to mention how expensive they are. I don't think not even prison food will taste as bad as the food they cook. Save your time and money and go to ceviche 105 or some other place. Just horrible :/

Nice addition to the growing Peruvian Cuisine picture in Miami. The place is well located, and the menu has everything a Peruvian restaurant should have. We tried - and liked- the ceviche mixto, the Anticuchos, and the Lomo saltado. The pisco sour could be better though. Parking is not easy, service is friendly, and I will be back soon.

I am a ceviche fan so a friend of mine invited me to try the ceviche here. I was really surprised how good the food was especially the pulpo a la parrilla. Their rice, pasta, steak are good too. Tell me about the desserts OMG! There is one called mousse de chirimoya, totally delish. It comes with a layer of chocolate cake. Service is great and the environment is good. Even though, i wished they put music to make the environment more alive. I have been here already 8 times and 3 times in a row in the same week.

Amazing! Went because we had a Groupon. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The food was terrific, I ordered the ceviche embarcadero 41, it was fresh and absolutely succulent. The Tres Leche was a delight. I grew up eating ceviche cooked by my tio who is peruvian (I am colombian) and I like to think I'm a fair judge of quality. This surpassed all of my expectations. Loved the atmosphere as well as the quality. Five stars for sure.

Walking around downtown and stopped in for happy hour at this restaurant which features Peruvian cuisine. I sat by myself at the bar:Had one of the best margaritas and had an appetizer of taquenos relleno ... Absolutely wonderful. All employees were friendly and wanted to make sure I did not want for anything. The bowls of plantain chips was very tasty.

I went to this restaurant last night. I think the appetizers warranted at least 4 stars- But the entrees were a different story. We ordered a trio of ceviches, which were delicious, the grilled octopus and a wonton appetizer, all of which were fantastic. We then decided to get some entrees, and ordered the sea bass, a fried shrimp with rice dish and the seafood stew. They were just average, which was disappointing after the strong start to the meal. The cocktails were good, and the service was good as well. I would go back but would probably only order appetizers and the grilled octopus. I think it's likely that the ceviches are this restaurant's strength, so check them out if you go. Also, the menu is like a novel, printed with a binding, huge pictures and only 2 item per page. It was cumbersome and everyone in my party felt that a shorter, clearer menu would have helped us order more efficiently.

Food was ok but they messed up on my delivery order. I ordered 3 sprite zeros but got only 2 regular sprites instead

Absolutely Amazing!!!! I am very picky with my food. I went with my boyfriend last night for the first time and we are definitely coming back. We had the ceviche mixto which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered fetuccini a la huancaina with lomo saltado. The costumer service was outstanding. Definitely met up my expectations. I love Peruvian food even though I am not Peruvian myself. We are definitely going back. Everything tasted extremely delicious and well cooked. The staff is very friendly and the place is very cozy. If you are a Peruvian food lover like myself. You have to go to this place. It's one of miamis hidden places... 5 stars from me...

You know... I wanted this place to be better than it was. I ordered a stir-fry type dish which was fine. But the ambiance seemed a bit night-clubby and the service was slow. I'm from the west coast, however, so maybe this is a cultural difference.

    (3)
  • Ed N.

Probably the worst Peruvian fried rice I have ever tasted. My table mates liked the ceviche and lomo saltado but I can't provide a review on that since I didn't have any. What I can say is not to order the fried rice. It is too salty and has a strange flavor to it. It tastes nothing like authentic Peruvian fried rice. The choclo or corn was not properly cooked either. The server was good and very nice. I have no issues with the attention. He was great.

Upscale decor, slow service, disorganized, food just ok. Our party of 3 walked in at 12:10PM on a weekday. The restaurant was about 2/3 filled. The interior looked nice, so I was a bit surprised to find that there was no one to greet us upon arrival. We lingered around at the entrance wondering what to do for a while before a hostess came and seated us. We saw a number of people go through the same process throughout our lunch. It took over 45 minutes to get our food, which is unacceptably slow for lunch on a weekday. Some dishes which were ready sat on the counter for over 10 minutes so the server could serve everyone at the same time. The rice that came with the grilled fish was cold. And the seasoning on the vegetables tasted like generic Chinese food. They forgot to bring the lemonade my colleague ordered. Regrettably, these things add up to form an overall negative impression. The restaurant took deliveries of supplies through the front entrance through the dining room between tables. There were people carrying cardboard boxes and pushing hand trucks walking by us. It's a cool looking place and I wanted to like it, but sadly I cannot give more than two stars. I hope they will take hints from the reviews and improve their service.

My review is actually for 2.5 stars I was so excited to see this Peruvian chain come to Miami. As a native Peruvian, I am a tough critic, however even my non-peruvian dining friends were not very pleased with our food. Our order: - The octopus special (had to be sent back bc it was really soft and goey... how do you say baboso in English? Anyway.. it came back .... not much improvement. - The huancaina fettucini with lomo saltado (the huancaina sauce was so bland..... no salt whatsoever. In all fairness, the lomo was amazing. - Pescado Sudado (also very low in salt) - Grilled fish with white rice (this was a special request and we were grateful they accomodated us, however the fish was too salty, white rice had a stong smell of that minced garlic you buy in a jar). ok....... so...... i can give them a pass on the special request.... however.... a restaurant putting out unsalted huancaina sauce or sudado broth? is unforgiveable. Additionally, service was not great. Our waitress was nice and polite while taking our order, however would be nowhere to be found later on. It seemed she was waiting on another table at the other end of the restaurant (place is pretty big for Miami standards) this just seemed odd and inefficient. Finally, the decor: The restaurant was very tastefully decorated. It is a very welcoming environment EXCEPT the numerous flat screen tv's all around the restaurant. It gives mixed signals. tvs were playing sports channels... very "sports bar" like. What may have worked during the World Cup, doesnt quite work now. Do you want a place where ppl are stuck on the TV just ordering drinks? or a warm environment that is inviting for conversation, and ordering of lots and lots of food? I have seen this in other restaurants. They usually have pretty visuals (sort of like screen savers) unless there is an important sporting event). - I'd be willing to look past this if the food was good and consistent. Sorry Embarcadero 41. I really really wanted to like you. I wanted another Peruvian place other than Ceviche 105 in the neighborhood... but you didn't deliver. It seems to me you are still experiencing "new restaurant" pains.

This is my third time in embarcadero and I have to say that the ceviche was perfect! I have also tried the grill octopus, combination platters as well as the Lomo Saltado with Tacu Tacu and I have to say it was superb. This a a fairly new restaurant and they have come a long way, I have always take notice when staff and management recognizes me in my second and third visit but most of all the chef Carlo took the time to make sure my food was perfect and visited my table once all the food had arrived, an amazing experience and I'll be back soon to keep trying new dishes. It's a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and professional staff.

Bright and Clean interior. I absolutely loved everything that we ordered here. If you're in the mood for ceviche, then the ceviche trio is the best way to go, so then you get to try three different ceviches all in different sauces. All three ceviches were very delicious and fresh. Another favorite was their Maki Causa Acevichado which is potato stuffed with crab. The Tequenos Rellenos De Lomo Saltado Con Mozzarella is also really good and is similar to an egg roll stuffed with meat and cheese only way better! I have no complains, because the service was spot on, ambiance was nice and everything tasted amazing!!

Simply scrumptious! Third time visiting Embarcadero, just around the corner from the office, and each time is better than the last. Mouth watering ceviche, the lomo saltado is perfectly seasoned and not soggy! And the sauces are amazing. Oh and can you say AFFORDABLE?!! Finally, great ceviche and dishes in the $10-$15 range. Very refreshing!!

Are you interested in Peruvian Fusion - if so this place is perfect for you. The Peruvian influence is very good and as a diner of Peruvian food it was interesting to have it with a different flair. The ceviche appetizers were REALLY good. The menu is very good looking but actually harder to read as the description is over these great pictures of the dishes. The drinks were super. The service was great and the ambiance was perfect, not too fancy but urban, fun and cool. We stumbled in here based on a Yelp recommendation and were glad we did. This is the first US location for a small chain with 4 locations in Lima.... so you are getting the real deal. Was tempted to go 5 on this but this is a very solid 4. Would be surprised if you did not have a good meal here.

Great place! Food amazing. Try the choncholin de choclo con pulpo anticuchero. Pisco sours are good, try the maracuya one. Ceviche was good too. Best peruvian place in downtown. The guanabana dessert... Grear!

I've taken note that this place has a lot of mixed reviews. My experience was really good, so I'm a little disappointed that others did not have a good time. Maybe we just nailed the right type of dishes. My wife and I went to Peru on our honeymoon, and we were very excited to visit this place while in Miami. We found the food to be authentic and delicious! We started with the Tiradito de Corvina con Pulpo (seabass and octopus). Tiradito is a thinly sliced piece like a crudo or a sashimi, which we preferred over the large cubed chunks that you would find in a ceviche. We found the fish to be fresh and the leche de tigre to be amazing! It was a great reminder of the seafood dishes in Lima! We also ordered the Anticuchos de Lomo Fino con Choclo Crocante. This was basically a beef tenderloin cabob with corn and potatoes. We loved this so much and reminded us of our time in the Andes! Literally everything you got in the Andean region was meat with corn, potatoes, and salsa picante so we found this to be very authentic. The corn was so good! We couldn't get enough of that huge kernelled corn in Peru and we were so happy to have some here. Also, the beef was incredibly tender and well seasoned. The bar even had crunchy corn and plantain chips just like you see all over Peru. We loved our experience here and recommend others to try it as well. Great prices too.

Ok, it's hard to find AMAZING food these days.... But this place really sets itself apart from the rest!!!! From the rocoto ceviche to the tequenos stuffed with Lomo Saltado... I just can't get enough!!! We ordered a bunch of things to share, including Lomo Saltado, Tacu Tacu tres quesos.... The best thing IMO was the Tacu Tacu tres quesos. Please, if you do anything... Order this!!!!!! For dessert we shared a tres leches... I have no words - condensed milk heaven!!!! And although I rolled out of here, I can't wait to fatten myself up again... I'll be back!

Atmosphere is fine if a little sterile, but I really only went for the ceviche, which is out of this world. 5/5 better than a lot of the best ceviches I've eaten in Peru and Chile. Added bonus the Peruvian Chardonnay glass pour is great for 7.50. I'll be back.

The first time I came to this restaurant, I was happy with the service and food. I took my family yesterday. Being Peruvian it's sad to say this has gone down immensely. We ordered ceviche for appetizer, ceviche is usually fast. It took 45 mins to bring. We also ordered the special which was salmon and lomo saltado with pasta huancaina sauce. The salmon was almost white. It was tasteless as it was frozen. The pasta huancaina was yellow but didn't taste like it. It also has a after taste. On top of the food taking forever they also charge us extra for asking the ceviche with aji amarillo. I will not be returning. Cviche 105 continue to be my favorite Peruvian restaurant in downtown Miami.

This is my second time going to Embarcadero 41 Fusion, the food is excellent. I had octopus and it was so tender and delicious. This will be my favorite restaurant from now on.

Delicious ceviches, lomo sataldo, and cocktails. Service was great and pricing reasonable.

The best Peruvian food, with great service, and great prices. The seafood is as fresh as it gets. Great food for everyone. A perfect kids menu, and a great ambience. The bar is cozy and fun, especially when the large screen TV's are always on for game nights. I'm a little biased, but I honestly don't know of any other gourmet Peruvian restaurants with menus as reasonably priced as Embarcadero 41. Someone nailed it when they said the competition is obviously trying to make up negative reviews. You just can't go wrong with Peruvian food at Embarcadero.

Excellent service. Ceviche mixto was incredible. Drinks were delicious and pulpo was the best I've ever had. Recommend to anyone wanting Peruvian food.

That's what we get for coming here at 8pm on Sunday night. Almost 3 hours after ordering, we finally got our food. We weren't the only ones either, 3 other parties next to us didn't get there food for hours either. During this time service was horribly slow and not apologetic. On top of all this the waiter had the gall after we had already talked to the manager about discounting our bill to add gratuity onto the bill. Meanwhile the party at the table sitting next to us got finally got their order, and it was wrong... twice. They also spoke with the manager even before we did. The food was ok, certainly not even close to being worth the wait. We will never be back. Beware of this place

They should not open a big restaurant if the management can not handle their own space. Flavor is tasteless , service lacks of customer service. Server knowledge about Peruvian gastronomy is so poor. I would not come back.

It was pretty good, location is good, you have to pay $5.00 for parking. Decoration is nice, presentation very nice, prices around $15, staff friendly, service is good, portion are perfect, FLAVOR though! lack of seasoning and a bit more of salt it would complement 5 stars.

I love Ceviche so I decided to try this place , what a mistake it was tasteless , drinks were awful, the only thing was good was the Octopus , I expected to b a better place .

Staying downtown for work & knowing this place just recently opened, I wanted to give it a try. So glad I did. From the initial call to inquire about seating availability & attire to the moment I walked out, the warmth & friendliness of the staff is above par. The ambiance great & the "mixed ceviche" was beyond delicious! I wanted traditional, and received just that. Perfect balance of lime, citrus & just the exact amount of heat.... Very well priced. Bartenders, Ivette & Carlos were great, knowledge & their level of service complimented my experience & the restaurant. Thank you!

I loved the ceviche mixto. So fresh and good! Stay away from the lomo saltado, it was chewy and it tasted bad. The servers need training.

Hello, this is my first time using Yelp. I live in downtown Miami and love Peruvian food. I was on my way to a favorite spot when i decided to use the app. Embarcadero is only 3 blocks from my residence so i decided to try it. The hostess is very nice and sat me right away. The ambiance, location and cleanliness are excellent. The restaurant was at under 30% and fully staffed. My waiter took 10 minutes to come to my table. I ordered the lomo saltado a lo pobre meat medium. The rice was undercooked and not salted, the egg was runny, the meat cooked well ( ordered med) and not seasoned, and the fries were frozen not fresh. The waiter never offered any specials or any appetizers. Never came by to ask if i needed anything as he was nowhere to be found. I had to ask the hostess for salt and another waitress for a second drink. Finally after i had finished eating is when the waiter reappeared and asked if everything was ok. Not a good experience overall. Will not return.

Masomenos :( maybe my expectations were too high. I went on a Sunday, i think they must have been understaffed, our service was pretty bad. The food was ok. I'm probably not coming back. Sorry.

I came here last week with intenions to show the place off to my family who was in town. Were venezuelan and wanted to show my family peruvian food since my fiance is from there. Had hyped it up since it was my third time. We arrived at 915 and my guests were to arrive at 930. The place closes at 10 early week which is understandable. The sweet waitress sits us as we arrive early and want cocktails and appetizers and knew what entrees we were gonna order for the 9 person group. I suddenly see the manager come over to her and pretty much scold her with her back towards us about how they were closing in 40 minutes. I see the waitress have to come back and tell us we can only ordered fried or cold menu items. The best stuff here is the delicious plates that are sauteed! She is clearly embarrassed. I felt uncomfortable and decided to leave because of the manager. Even though she wasn't talking to us I could feel her negative energy. The food here is actually good however the service and guest culture is garbage. Spend your money somewhere in Miami where the owners and management care about the guest first.

Phenomenal. Excellent service, fantastic food and extremely generous portions. Reminded me of Lima. Ceviche de Piscado was great. The entire family including the eight year old and extremely picky eleven year old left happy!

I come here at least twice a week, since Embarcadero opened and love it. The food is amazing, the service is great (waiters are extremely friendly and good comes relatively quick), and if you order right it won't be that expensive either. Even if you don't like seafood, there is still a solid amount of other dishes to choose from, which are also equally as excellent. Definitely recommend it for just about anyone.

We don't usually do chain food restaurants but with the opening of the first of the chain in the U.S, Embarcadero 41 will change our routine. The food was outstanding, the freshest seafood in Miami (finally!). My ceviche was melt in your food fresh. The presentation of the dishes, menu, and decor went along with the quality of the food. Service was good. Our waiter was very attentive on getting our order and delivering it. The one thing that missed was a check-up on how was our food while we were eating. But luckily we had no complaints :). We are definitely coming back to try something else from their extensive menu. All I have to say is Ceviche 105 must not be as excited as we were for the opening of this restaurant.

Fail. Ordered kids meal, took 45 minutes to deliver the fried dish. Ordered two main dishes. Server mixed it up and gave our order to table next door. After the server realized that one dish was a mismatch at the table the server left my dish with the other table and put my girlfriends under a heat lamp. After 15 minutes, he brought my girlfriends dish out alone (epic fail) all dried up without mine. Waited a few more minutes - still no food for me. This was about 1:15 into the dining experience. My overall take on the place is that they put a nice cover on the book. Nice staging, thoughtful copy in the menu, fresh idea, but fails to deliver in two critical departments -service and food. Don't waste your time or money here. Go across the street to La Granja for a casual experience or walk two blocks to CViche 105 for a more upscale setting that delivers great food and fast service.

I was excited to see this chain here in miami, I came all over pompano beach just to eat here; let me tell you first impression nice ambience, clean restroom ( not paper towel neither bath tissue), very attentive server, pisco sour was 2 for price of one, after that I ordered cuzqueña beer ( weird taste ) beer glass had a strong smell so me and my friend had to drink it from bottle, I ordered huancaina fettuccini with lomo ( lomo was soft not bad, the fettuccini had too much sauce it looks like a soup and tasteless ) Chifles and cancha yummi. Menu is exactly as the one in lima, little disappointed I will give it another try soon hope they improve since it's been a month open.

I really wanted to like this place. It's literally 10 steps from my job, however, the food is not up to par. I am sure in another city that is not inundated with Peruvian restaurants, this one would score much higher, but In Miami, specifically downtown Miami, they would have to step it up. Food - 2 stars. Decor/Ambiance - 3.5 stars. Service - 3.5 stars. If your price range for Peruvian food is $6-12 go to La Granja for fast casual food If your price range is $12-20 for Peruvian food go to Ceviche 105 (seafood) or Pollos y Jarras (chicken and steak) for a sit down meal

The service was excellent and the food outstanding. The ONLY thing this restaurant needs to do is figure out how to dim the lights. It was WAY too bright and that really took away from the experience. I would highly recommend you try this place - huge menu and delicious food!

My husband has been pestering me to try this place for a very long time, but as I wasn't very familiar with this kind of food I had been putting him off. Finally last night I agreed to check it out. Not one thing we ordered was less than excellent. I was with a group so we ordered many appetizers and entrees and just shared with the table. Honestly a unique a different experience I would encourage all to try!!

Went there last night, the food is very good and happy hour until 11 doesn't hurt. I found the appetizers to be better than the regular food, in case you just want to have some drinks

The Restaurant was empty for a Saturday night, surprised me, the service staff was great, very large menu, illustrated. The regular Pisco Sour was awesome, not impressed with la Causa Fusion, el Pulpo a la Parilla was excellent, They stamp your parking ticket and cover 1/2. My verdict still not out on this Restaurant, I need to try more plates.

One of the worst Peruvian restaurants in Miami. Had the lomo saltado which had foul smelling meat and was accompanied by cold halfway cooked oil absorbing French fries, the octopus which was chewy and greasy, very terrible food. I do not recommend this place, it gives a bad "taste" to Peruvian food.

Great food! We went for lunch and it was excellent. Great food and very reasonably priced. They also validate parking, only a $5 charge, which is incredible for Downtown.
