Love Chipotle, you can't go wrong here. I'm real proud of them too with no GMO's or hormone injected chicken and meats (besides the pork I believe) , anyhow it's healthy, delish, and filling. I've tried the bowls, the salad, and the burritos. Love them all..usually choose by the old school tactic of enie meanie minie moe. ..lol My favorite is the bowl, I usually get the steak or carnitas with black beans, sautéed onions and peppers, corn, extra hot sauce, cheese, and some guacamole. All the flavors just enlighten my taste buds. Love coming here for lunch or dinner, it's just always such a good time. My only complaint is the parking here is always a mission and the line is always super long, but a long line is always a good sign. No matter what though, I'm officially a Chipotle lover for life!

I'm giving one star is because I have to it won't let me post no stars. Let me start by say Chipotle is great however THIS one is awful. I'll be call the regional office in the morning. The staff here is slow, rude, condescending and is soooo typical Miami and by that I mean rude. Ordered the tacos asked for fresh tomatoes with out pico or onions. Told they don't have it. All others do. The pico was soup. The chicken grilling in the back was unattended and burning the sink to the left was left running and open. I guess the employees are sticking it the owners. Asked for a little cheese and lettuce the dumped a boat load of cheese to compensate for not having lettuce. Simple said I wish they would have told me. Girl in a soft voice tells the lone to let people know and smiles. I simply said never mind and paid for my daughters food and told them not to ring me up for the tacos. The cashier was stunned go figure. Recommend tex mex. Further south or Moe's a little east of this location. HQ needs to overhaul this location.

This review is going to be quick and to the point because it's Chipotle and not a 5 star Mexican restaurant. Pro's: Food made with Non-GMO ingredients. It's usually prepared fresh and you can see the area where they cook the food. Variety of options and you can even have a beer here. Menu is simple and to the point. You can customize your portion sizes to meet your needs. Cons: The calories can pack on pretty quickly, I did a quick numbers count for my burrito and it was going to be over 1500 calories with 140+ carbs, needless to say I went with a bowl lol. The line can be incredibly long, I'm literally standing behind 45 people waiting for my order lol. I would normally give a fast food restaurant 3 stars but I can appreciate what the company tries to do by going with alternative options, so they get an extra star for being probably the healthiest fast food option in Kendall.

1st time having a bad experience here. I waited for steak for my burrito bowl to find that when they brought it out the meat was still raw so I traded for chicken only to also find that pieces of my chicken were undercooked. Seriously need to check your chefs cooking skills so you poison your customers! We are paying customers therefore we should get quality COOKED FOOD!

  • Felipe Z.

What is this craze on Chipotle! I personally prefer Moe's for the quality and service. I've tried to see what the fuss is all about but I just don't get it. Prices are higher than other guys and not to mention the line is always from here to egypt. Ugh kinda kills your burrito craving altogether. All in all the place is not terrible just with so many more options I'd rather go elsewhere.

I love chipotle but this location is messy messy. Trash is overflowing. The cashier had to leave the station to grab more trails and proceeded to clean them in front of customer. No limes or ice, had to tell a worker to restock. I hope management sees this and actually makes improvements.

Carnitas bowl is my favorite. I luv their rice that has a hint of lime & cilantro. Their guacamole is delicious. I always get it even though its an extra $2 but it's worth it. This is one of my favorite fast food spots. I don't like spicy so I am happy that their Carnitas are not spicy since all the other meat and tofu is so this is the option for me and what a yummy option it is. I luv their corn, all their ingredients taste fresh. Lines get long at night around dinner time 7 and on....so be prepared to wait.

  • Robert R.

This location started well. In the last 3 months, I see more efforts on putting less food... Unless you ask. So ask. Today, isuues due to power outage... No tomatoes. Suspicious as the ad said different. When I asked if they could replace the lack of tomatoes, I got a firm no. What ever!

This place never fails to deliver great simple food. But the demand for their food is always as intense as a Sunday night- #AintNoBodyGotTimeToCookOnASundayNight Soooo, the lines are are ridiculous and at least a 20 min wait. #DontForgetYourPhone #SpareCharger That being said, #ItsWorthTheWait.

Who doesn't love chipotle ?!? My go to meal is the bowl with the burrito on the side. I love chipotle because first the food is amazing and the price is very reasonable. Just the ability to make the food the way you want it with extra items without the charge is great ! This particular chipotle is great, the food is always fresh and the rice is perfect not hard or too soft. Chicken is well seasoned and all the toppings are fresh. Only reason for the four stars was the line and wait time but to be honest this chipotle goes by pretty fast which means hardworking staff ! Thank you !

    (4)
  • Rachel N.

This is ridiculous. Honestly chipotle is delicious but NOT worth this wait. I ordered online a burrito and chicken salad for pick up .... ONE HOUR! I get here and they keep me waiting. It should not take more than 30 mins for this to be made. No way never again. I can go across the street and get lime in 10 mins of ordering online (lime gets just as packed). These people need to be faster. There is always a massive line. AND the chips aren't even free!

  • Justin P.

What can I say? Chipotle is chipotle. This is a great restaurant that I personally go to at least once a month and I totally recommend it to others. The only bad thing is that at chipotle(almost all of them) the line can get to up to a 30 minute wait around regular times that people eat.

    (4)
  • Peter P.

You want food, you don't want to spend a lot, you don't want to wait in line. Don't worry, follow me on a guacamole filled adventure through Chipotle. First thing's first, do you have the mobile app? no? get the app. No more lines curling around the store 1-2 times, order it on the app, set your pickup time, walk to the counter when you arrive. Done and Done. The only issue with the app is it is difficult to add specific tweaks to your meal, so if you do want that, you may have to phone in to confirm. Ultimate Bang for your Buck Meal: Large burrito bowl, extra rice* (i like brown rice, your call), both beans*, ask for a tortilla on the side*, ask for fajita veggies*, ask for half and half meat*. That means, go half Barbacoa half steak, it will typically net you more than a single of one kind. Sour creme, double hot sauce*, ask for salad dressing on the side*, ask for your guacamole on the side. This wonderful meal will pack the most punch for the least cash. * = no extra charge! Chipotle is a great way to eat well without breaking the bank. It bridges the gap between fast food (no thanks) and quality, sit down food. When in doubt, stop in for a burrito or a burrito bowl! PS: If you get a burrito, you can ask for a quesarito (burrito wrapped in a quesadilla), but don't do it during peak hours, please.

  • Robyn L.

Steak burrito bowl all the way, extra sour cream & guacamole. They have fresh tortillas that are included with the burrito bowl, just ask This location does get busy, sometimes the line curves out the door. The food is consistently good, but I have been here several times where to do have to wait on rice or steak to finish cooking. Don't know if that's a good thing (knowing it's prepared fresh) or annoying because I have to wait. And yes, guacamole is a. Extra $1.95 but who cares because it's so good! Chipotle never disappoints. CHIPOTLE GANG!

  • Yvelin R.

For the price and the taste of the food you can't go wrong with Chipotle. For about $7 you can choose from burrito, bowl, salad or tacos. I used to eat one whole burrito, all by myself, and loved every bite. Months ago I changed it up and now I just share a bowl with my husband (way less calories once you eliminate that tortilla). Unless I'm starving, half a bowl is enough for me. I usually go with white rice, black beans, meat (chicken or steak), corn, mild salsa, corn, sour cream, lettuce and cheese. Yummy. I personally enjoy the spice on their meats but I do wish they had some with no spices so that my 3 year old could have a better balanced kids meal when we come here. I have to get a plain cheese quesadilla when ordering his and ask for chicken on the side which my husband and I end up sharing too.

  • Denise R.

Only 4 stars because they were out of guacamole today and that is why I went their, so I was pretty disappointed. Food was good as usual. Line was long as usual.

Awesome mexican food, but they cannot wrap a burrito well. Always ends up being messy. More portions of meat would be nice too.

  • Michy D.

The place is pretty good but the few times I have gone they are out of stock of a lot of things even work last time I went I had to use a role they didn't have burritos it was just a mess. Would that such a large corporation owned by McDonald's would have more product

  • Nydia M.

This Chipotle will serve severely undercooked chicken just to get the line moving. I've seen it happen twice. If you're here waiting in line, check your food carefully before eating it. On my last visit the guy in line next to me told me he got food poisoning from here (I don't know why he would ever come back, but he did. Good luck!) Besides the undercooked chicken, it's a regular Chipotle. The guacamole is always great and the staff is really good about giving you a fresh bag of chips when you complain about the old, salty ones they like to sell sometimes.

If I could put less than a star on this Chipotle location I would ! Imagine my DISGUST when I go to eat my burrito and I find a PUBIC HAIR on top of it. I will not being going back to this location that rather have a lot of customers than actually put attention into the HYGIENE of their staff. Luckily they gave my mom and I a refund because even she was disgusted to the point where she couldn't eat.

  • Lauren D.

I love chipotle, more than anyone I know. I refuse to eat Moe's or any other competitor. But this is the 3rd time this month that my online order wasn't ready. It was set for 830 and I got my food at 8:55. I know chipotle is busy, but maybe they should hire some more help.

I'm number one chipotle fan.. My Instagram name even involves chipotle in it... The kendall chipotle absolutely slacks you AND aren't friendly whatsoever. You don't get what you're paying for here unless you ask for more of everything and they still slack you, while giving you an attitude. This has happened multiple times.. Not going back to this location.

    (1)
  • Sarah J.

Lines were pretty long and slow. Usually when I go to a chipotle in Biscayne, it's pretty fast. But these people were slow. And they added very little food to my plate purposely, I had to ask for extra rice, beans, etc. Looks like they need more people on the assembly line to help them go a bit faster. I love the chipotle company, just not thrilled about this location.

Love their food but the meat MUST BE WELL DONE NOT MEDIUM RARE!!! That's disgusting and extremely bad for you!!! Chicken is a must as it's well seasoned Fresh veggies and rise is always available Chips are seasoned with lemon flavor Avocado is pretty expensive as I have a tree full of them at my house.... Should bring my own

  • Keren A.

I LOVE CHIPOTLE!!! I used to get the carnitas all the time but I have a friend that works there and she said its gross so I began getting chicken. I always get the bowl and the trick is to get a bowl and ask for two wraps, that way you can make your own burrito. I love the chips w hot and the guacamole is good too, I always get the hot too. For me nothing beats the hot. Honestly I go to chipotle mostly for the chips and hot. Ask for a cup for water so you don't waste money on soda... I didn't know a cup costs almost three dollars bc yes they charge for the cup not really for the drink. And don't go too early! My friend told me that they save the meat from the night before.. They lie and tell you that they donate it. Anyways chipotle is greatttttt and I am sad that they close at ten because I passed but tonight but it was closed.

Chiptole always hits the spot! I normally get the hard shell steak tacos with fajita peppers and onions and it is juicy with flavor and downright delicious. I don't know what they season their steak with, but for being a fast food taco and burrito joint, it is AMAZING!!! I have eaten a steak burrito and it is delicious too! I prefer the tacos since the burrito is a MONSTER (I have to be starving to get the burrito). And the guac ROCKS! So why 4 stars: - Chips are always stale and extremely salty. - Wait time is always extremely long for fast food (15-20), not because of slow service, but because of tons of people in line. It doesn't matter the time of day, there is always a long line. - Because Chipotle is always packed, it may be hard at times to find a table. If you want great taco/buritto fast food, don't settle and go to Taco Bell, def go to Chiptole! I promise it ends up being the same price!

  • Crystal C.

I don't usually leave reviews for this type of establishment (fast food, super corporate, chains)... however I wanted to make it known that if you go to this Chipotle, you will get half the portion that you would in most other locations. The lines are super long which is normal for Chipotle, but the staff is so slow. Also it doesn't seem like they stock the food well and all the meat is usually very cold and not warm or fresh. If you're in the plaza, do yourself a favor and just eat at pei wei or panera instead of throwing your money away on unfullingful, cold portions of food.

    (1)
  • Mark V.

Just like any other chipotle. For about a week this location didn't have mild a.k.a tomatoes. The portion they give sometimes isn't on point. I always have to ask for double meat because of this. Sometimes when the lines are backed up you have the servers talking with each other that had nothing to do with work. One night I even heard one of them complain about the long line when there was one hour left. It's saving grace is the clean area. Everything is stocked and easily accessible. Never had to get napkins before sitting when I chose to eat in.

I jumped on the Chipotle bandwagon late. I recently started getting into their bowl option, because it's a healthier option to the burrito. That being said, the bowl is delicious! You can layer it with all your favorite toppings, and for me, it usually serves as lunch & dinner. The food is good stuff!!! The service is here is what's lacking. Employees here rush you through your order and are very stingy with their meat/chicken/pork portion. Hell, I even had an employee give me attitude on my last visit when I asked her for the veggies on top of the meat. If I am waiting in line for 15-20 mins to order, the last thing I want to deal with is attitude from an employee. That being said, I have opted to their online ordering service, which is not much better. Note: Waiting time for online order is roughly 35-45 mins. I'd also advise on checking your order before paying, as I have had order a bowl for my buddy with extra chicken & it was not added. Honestly, if they took time to care about customer service, I'd give this place 5 stars.

I like Chipotle. When I'm on the road for business in small Florida towns with nary a healthful option, it can be a welcome sight. This Chipotle is my neighborhood Chipotle, and unfortunately we have had several bad experiences there. Undercooked chicken, ever-changing, inexperienced, and often socializing staff (making the standard Chipotle long line needlessly longer) make this a subpar location as far as Chipotles go. When the chicken is not undercooked, it is the tasty dish you would expect. The guacamole is good, as is the rice (white or brown). The chips tend to be sodium bombs. I try to avoid this location to the extent possible. You can do worse, but you can do a lot better.

  • Brian S.

Love the food. The wait has become ridiculous though. I have been stuck in long lines that take up to 20 minutes at times. I have even had to leave because the lines took to long sometimes. Either they are under staffed or their process is slow...but needs to be figured out ASAP. I have definitely been going less because of this.

    (2)
  • Patricia G.

I can honestly say I come here about 3-4 times a week and this one is great. Although the line takes a little long sometimes, the staff is great and the food is always fresh. Dave the manager is extremely friendly and personally says hello every time my boyfriend and I come in.

    (5)
  • Antonio A.

Quick service. Not always friendly. Depends who serves you. Some of the girls get annoyed when I'm ordering 3 tacos x 2 and one set is with just beans and the other with just rice. I'm just like It's not rocket surgery, ladies! Beware of the menu prices. Absolutely NO WHERE do they say that the steak is $7.19. In fact, it is advertised as $6.65. Also, they don't advertise anywhere that Guacamole INSIDE your food is $1.80. Oh yeah, soft corn tortilla...do it.

  • Joey And Katrina M.

This place is Hit or Miss when it comes to the food. At times it tastes the way Chipotle should or it's bland or overly salty. Not very consistent. As soon as they run out of anything is when they yell out that they need more of it. That's when they start cooking up a new batch. THAT'S WAY TOO LATE! There's a ton of businesses and work places around so you can already imagine the dreadful lines. The service is slow and I've found myself having to wait a good amount of time just to be next in line. The staff is young and at times the cashier wanders off so you'll be having to wait even longer just to pay at the register. If you want to be served promptly then come any time from Open to BEFORE lunch hour. Don't ruin your Chipotle experience by coming to this location unless it's the only one you know how to get to.

Chipotle a name gives me such joy aside from batman. This place is amazing the food very fresh and tasty. Great service and never a bad visit, because who doesnt love a great burrito.its like joy and greatness wrapped together.

Against my better judgement i came here! And look at what greets customers a sign that informs everyone that they are out of chips and guacamole. Really? I know that sometimes things happen but on a friday night? I will stick with cantina grill a family run business that cares about the customers.

  • Lina P.

The food is good and the place is clean but I asked the server about a sauce that they have their and she couldn't tell me what it was and I felt rushed to choose my toppings didn't like that

My husband and I came into the restaurant to use the restroom. The women's bathroom was a disaster. It stunk of urine, had no toilet paper and the trash was overflowing. My husband said the men's bathroom had a terrible urine smell too. As we walked by the seating area, it was obvious that no one had swept for a while with trash, napkins, lids, and straws on the floor. Very bad first impression. We decided if they can't keep the place clean we wouldn't want them preparing our food.

    (1)
  • Lina T.

Okay, it's a fast food taco place. Better then Taco bell, but not authentic Mexican. The food taste pretty fresh and they do offer corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas. I like the option. I'm not saying this because i'm a pig, but if you get the 3 tacos instead of the burrito you get way more meat and less fillers. I guess that was a duh! moment, but yes get the tacos, if you want more meat. I really like their barbacoa meat, which is what i usually get when I go there. It can be healthy depending on what you get. I gave them 3 stars because you can't give more then that to a mexican restaurant that is unauthentic Mexican.

  • Aurora B.

This location is consistently good. It's always busy, and the tables are almost always full on weekends, so if you want to come here you might need to get it to go. Not much to say except that the food is always delicious, especially the barbacoa. Sometimes they forget to charge you for guacamole so that's always great. One thing that annoys me though is sometimes they run out of a meat and they don't let you know until you're up there ordering. I'll ask for something and they'll be like "Sorry were out, it will be another 10 minutes". Really? Someone could have shouted "WERE OUT OF X, IT WILL BE 10 MINUTES SO IF YOU WANT THIS MEAT GET OUT OF THE LINE", but no................that makes too much sense I guess.

Never was into the whole Chipotle craze a few years ago, but over the past year or so.... Ive tasted and see the reason for all the hype. Hard Steak Tacos or Steak Salad are dishes of choice, loaded up with lettuce, corn, salsa, cheese and extra sour cream. The cooking condition of the meats tend to be pretty consistent at this location,I like my steak more on the medium tender side, and so far so good here. This location in particular does tend to get very very busy around luchtime (12-2pm) so plan accordingly if your on limited time. #chipotleGang

The customer service here is horrible. The employee (Christine) is the rudest employee I've ever encountered. She stood at the register and argued with me instead of being a good and humble employee. David was a good sport about the situation however, the store manager (maybe santiago)was not. He threatened me and tried to embarrass me. Not to mention there has been several occasions where I was unhappy however, I tried to look past it. I will be reporting this to corporate.

I love chipotle and their guacamole which is the only thing that keeps me going back, but for the most part when I go to chipotle it is either very dirty or the service sucks. Sometimes, it is both. Went yesterday and the place was gross, tables were dirty and it was obvious their were running short on dishses. In any event, my veggie burrito tasted alright, but whoever was wrapping my burrito didnt know what the hell they were doing. I wanted to leave, but my boyfriend wanted to stay...

It makes me so sad to have to write this...but Chipotle and I are no longer having a love affair. I was good to you Chipotle...I told friends and family about you, at least once a week I would make sure to stop by and pick up a quick lunch or dinner, I suffered through long lines for you...and then you had to break my heart, not once but twice. One Sunday afternoon I decided to go to my old faithful Chipotle for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered my once favorite, barbacoa burrito bowl with spicy salsa and all the fixins. The meat tasted...off. Very off. Since I had done take out, I just decided to toss the whole thing rather than go back and bitch about it. Still being hungry, I tried the H's carnita tacos...and had to spit it right out. That meat tasted off too. He decided to continue eating it, to his detriment a few hours later. After that I was a little weary of going back, but considering my prior love affair, after a month I decided to give it another go around but this time with a different meat. I figured, chicken should be safe, right? Yea, the chicken was safe...but the beans weren't! I had the WORST stomach ache...blech. So, I have decided that the love affair is officially over. I shall miss the fantastic spicy salsa, the yummy guac and fresh tortilla chips, and all the good times we had. Farewell old love.

It's great after a workout - good balance of carbs and proteins...but you really have to be on them about not ladling GIANT portions of things into your bowl or tortilla...either way, I always end up splitting something with the boyfriend when we go. Another thing...I prefer NOT eating in there, since no matter what, you'll smell like the place until ya get home to take a shower...ick.

My boyfriend was starving and had to get something to eat so we popped into Chipotle since he had never been there. I had prepared him to not expect the best Mexican food but he was definitely disappointed. There was and is nothing 'wow' to this place or the food. The cashier was even talking to a customer he knew about the club, Space. I don't really mind but you want to pay full attention to your customers- or it should be that way. Are we going back? No. Would i suggest this place to someone? Hell no.

Good quick American-Mexican food for lunch or dinner, lime cilantro white or brown rice, variety of meats, and typical toppings like pico de gallo (salsa,) cheese and sour cream, therefore not much variety and a bit on the pricey side for what you get. Warning they can be stingy on the ingredients ESPECIALLY the Guac! If you're the tree huger type, their meats are 'natural and humanely raised'

I was looking for something to eat for lunch and i found this place. They serve Mexican food at this location. The menu items includes burritos, fajitas, tacos, and salads etc. Also, they serve beer too : ). The interior inside is clean and the walls are filled with pictures etc. This place gets really packed for lunch hours. I ordered the chicken tacos with cheese and sour cream plus i had to try their hot salsa . The tacos were tasty and i was happy with my order. The service was great and i will be back soon.

Pop Quiz, a**hole: 1. The main component of a salad is: a. Lettuce. b. Pubes that you ever-so-gently picked off in the employee's restroom. c. A tube of 10-year old Preparation H. Answer: At Chipotle, the answer might as well be "B" because judging from the two flakes of greenery in my bowl, "A" sure as hell doesn't fit the bill. 2. When asking a customer what toppings they would like for their salad, you should: a. Ask "what toppings would you like?' approximately 6 times, because the doobies you've been sparking up in the employee's bathroom have caused you to forget the first FIVE times you asked. b. Stare at your co-worker standing next to you in a stalker-ish manner and proceed to laugh maniacally. c. Listlessly stir around the goopy, glue-like sour cream while a line of customers waits impatiently for you to WAKE THE F* UP and wrap up their order. Answer: At Chipotle, the answer is...All of the Above. 3. A customer asks for a side of guacamole. You notice the vat is nearly empty. You should proceed to: a. Find a new vat, slather the guac all over yourself and ask the customer to lick it off in the employee's bathroom. Gots to earn those tips for that little plastic jar, homeskillet. b. Politely ask the customer to wait a brief moment while you replace the guac with a fresh batch from the refrigerator in front of you. c. Scrape the crusty brown bits stuck the side of the pan as HARD as you can so that the salad now has interesting little crunchy, crouton-esque guac shavings. Hell...this could be the start of a new culinary trend! Answer: At Chipotle, the answer is "B." Wait a sec....are you CRAZY?! Have you actually been reading this review?? C'mon now...you know the answer to this ish is "C." Am I being too hard on Chipotle? Hell-to-the-crusty-brown-guac-shavings-NO! I've (unfortunately) frequented this particular outpost of the chain several times and alas... IT SUCKS. It's understandable once you learn that it's now owned by the ubiquitous Mickey D's. But that employee's bathroom sure sounds hella fun, doesn't it?

I am surprised to read so much negative feedback about this Chipotle location. Most of the other Chipotle restaurants I have been to give you small amounts of everything whereas this one gives you tons of beans and guacamole without you have to ask for more. The staff was very friendly even though it was quite busy. It is not the place you go and expect sit-down restaurant quality, but for fast food it is fast and delicious.

I like spicy foods but not too spicy so I stick to getting Carnitas for my choice of protein. I'll usually get a burrito bowl too because I don't do well with burritos. I've tried once and made a complete mess, so it's burrito bowls for me from now on! My bowl consists of the white rice which I love, pinto beans, carnitas, mild tomato salsa, corn salsa, lettuce, cheese and sour cream. I always leave very full and satisfied! :) Chipotle gets a thumbs up for good food and a great price!!!

FYI: If you are looking for Mexican food, dont come here. This is your typical tex-mex place. Guacomole here is the best! I love that their meats have flavor. Its juicy. Their burritos are ridiculously huge! Too big for me so I get the tacos and they are perfect. You can get 3 and add anything and everything!

After watching so much Hells Kitchen I have become very critical about the food I eat at restaurants. We decide to eat at the Chipotle located in Kendall last night. I always go to the one on US1. When we arrived the place was not full and hardly a line. This location is pretty small and I can see it being hard to find a table during rush hour. When we get to the counter to place the our order the lady was in a hurry for no apparent reason and the way she was serving me my food was disgusting. I ordered the Carnita rice bowl and she was throwing my ingredient in the bowl like she was feeding a dog or something. Where is the respect in food. I was looking for a tray and looked around and everyone eating didn't have one. So I asked if they even had trays and she was like oh you want one. Duh we would like to carry our food to our table. Maybe they didnt want to clean them at the end of the day.

As far as this particular location goes, I'm really glad they always keep clean and have FAST and friendly service.

The burritos aren't great but not bad. The place is not small but not big either. Not my kind of place.

Ok. I'm not a big fan of Moe's and I'd prefer it to Chipotle any day. The food is HORRIBLE! We tried it just to see how it stacks up against Moe's and it doesn't. The service is good, but the service doesn't help when the food sucks. Bottom line: It looks nice, the service is good, the food is disastrous!

It's definitely not your "authentic" Mexican food, but it tastes REALLY good. Ok so I always order their steak burrito with everything on it (beans, rice, pico de gallo, guac, sour cream, lettuce, corn, etc) The flavors combined create a mexican party in your mouth, everything is well seasoned and cooked to perfection! I would also add the chips and salsa to my order since the chips are not just plain ole chips but have some tangy seasoning on them that makes them extra yummy!

  • Gianfranco M.

Mexican? No. Tex-Mex? maybe, but definitely not authentic Mexican food. I wouldn't dare to call their food Mexican, but a fusion of latin ingredients based vaguely on Mexican dishes. The names are taken from the Mexican menu, however the taste is totally different. Perhaps if you go there not thinking you're going to eat Mexican food then i would give it a different rating, but the problem when a specific type of food is Americanized and turn it into a franchise it looses the most essential element of the food: it's authentic taste. Aside from that the atmosphere and service are good.

So lots of people hate on this place. Do they have a right to? Unfortunately, yes. But, I still go back again and again!!! Here's why they hate: - if they're busy, they break down. Most of the employees there can't seem to handle more than one thing at a time, so orders get messed up, food gets confused, it's all-around mayhem. - 95% of the time, the sweet tea canister is empty. Another 3% of the time, it's not sweet enough. Sorry, I'm a SOUTHERN sweet tea girl! So that leaves you with a very small margin to get a decent sweet tea. - they skimp on the beans a LOT. You get about one to two CUPS of rice, but only about two tablespoons of beans. Pretty sad, specially if you like ordering the vegetarian stuff, and the beans are your only source of protein! - the meats aren't very consistent. Sometimes they're VERY spicy, other times they're barely there. I prefer the barbacoa, and more than once I've had a mouthful of slimy fat instead of meat. - they can't handle online/app orders. They will ALWAYS mess it up. HOWEVER! Here's why *I* LOVE and keep coming back!: - If there are certain people at the counter (especially this one guy, I gotta figure out his name!) your meal will be PERFECT. He makes it JUST RIGHT. And beware asking for extra anything, because when he says extra, he MEANS extra! My boyfriend got a burrito so big the other day that he literally couldn't eat for 24 hours afterwards, he was so FULL! - when they HAVE sweet tea and they get it right... LORDY! What a delicious, tooth-achy, refreshing drink it is! I simply can't do without! - all servings are HUGE. My honey usually gets a chicken burrito. This is a guy that sits down at Chili's. has TWO bowls of chips and salsa and then wolfs down a platter of their quesadillas (and the bastard weighs 125lbs!). And this burrito brings him to his knees. He eats the last few bites because they're so delicious, but he has to FORCE himself to swallow! I personally prefer the barbacoa burrito bowl, and I happily make two meals out of it! - their cilantro lime rice is unbelievable. If you can catch fresh off the stove, do try it... it's an orgasm in your mouth! - their food is almost always to-the-minute fresh. It's very rare to not see the kitchen buzzing like crazy... usually, you have to wait 30 seconds to a minute for something to come off the grill, which is my opinion is better than getting a chunk of chicken that has been sitting there for a couple hours. When all is said and done, please keep in mind that this is a fast food place, not a ritzy joint. If you're willing to have patience, keep a close eye on what's getting thrown on your plate, and deal with a couple small SNAFUs, then GO. The taste of the food and size of the portions is ultimately worth it!!!

Chipotle is one of my favorite places to go for a quick bite!! The ingredients are so fresh and they have the best guacamole that i've ever tasted!!!! The employees are super nice and i'm never dissapointed there :)

I was craving tacos, but didn't want to go to Taco Bell, so I chose the healthier alternative, Chipotle... All I have to say is that the steak tacos I received were cooked RARE. How the heck do you give rare meat to customers, especially if you're a fast food place. Ugh. Then the cashier over charges me, which is simple human error, no big deal. But then it took 10 min for me to get a refund. I mean, it was only 2.35, but still, it's the principal!!! Probably never going back. I shoulda just gone to Taco Bell.

I first went to Chipotle after the Simpson's movie at Muvico (off I-75) nearby there. I have to say, their portions seem to have gotten smaller and the price a little bit pricier. But still, its a great burrito. I usually get the carnitas burrito with EVERYTHING on it, plus double the amount of the spicy salsa (yes, I like spicy foods). One of the downsides is the insane calorie intake of one of these burritos. One of the upsides is the iPhone app that allows you to place an order (adding whatever you want, as little or as much as you want), pay for it with a CC, and pick it up at a desired time. Still, Chipotle for me is a biweekly craving that does not get satisfied by any other mexican-style places. With the addition of the app, I do not even have to make the line anymore, so not only am I gaining a million calories, but also not burning any calories by simply standing in line. Whatever, Chipotle is a great place for burritos and their rice with cilantro is always fresh and made to order. Also, all their food is spicy to begin with, so if you don't like spicy, don't go there!!!

I love going to Chipotle, but the one on Kendall service is not that great. Before when it opened people where extremely friendly and helped you ordered. Now the staff rushes you when you order. They serve so little food in the containers and when you ask for more they give you a small scope of what you want. If I were you, I would take my money and time to another location because I want my moneys worth. Do not get me wrong, but the last couple times I have gone, I got bad service and was rushed! If you get helped by the two Caribbean guys, then you are set. They are the only ones that are helpful and do not rush you when you order. I just wish I knew when they worked. :(

I went on a Saturday and this place was completely packed and I am not sure why. After trying other local Mexican places with the same concept I have become really disappointed in Chipotle. The line was long and it was loud in there so I felt very rushed to get my order in. Other places make the tortillas on the spot. Yeah, maybe its a gimmick but it certaintly beats pulling it out of a plastic bag like Chipotle does. Maybe it was the noise, but I could not understand any of the workers behind the counter. I had to ask them all to repeat themselves. Which frustrates me as a customer and I am sure frustrates them. They really should SPEAK UP! Also, I like that in other places they heat up the meat when you place the order. Chipotle does it Subway style. They've already got the chicken cooked and heated. Other places include the tortilla chips with your meal. Here, you have to pay extra. The only thing I like about this place is their Cilantro lime rice. Thats it. Don't waste your money here! Go to Cantina or even Pancheros.

  • Christian A.

Wow!!! I'm shocked at all the negatives here lol. I too feel like they don't put enough protein (meat) but that's expected being that I'm a big muscular type guy. My girl and her girlfriends absolutely love this place, including me. My cheat days are always here. Lol love it.

I went with my daughter and we had burritos, by the way, huge and nachos with cheese on the side. It was a bit spicy to my liking but overall very good food.

I get sudden urges for this place and it has always come through great. I workout about 6 times a week so I have a hefty appetite. You can't go wrong with the chicken burrito w/ guac. All of Chipotle's pork is naturally raised, antibiotic free, and with a vegetarian diet - as well as 80% of its chicken and 85% of the beef (100% of the barbacoa served is from naturally-raised beef).

    (4)
  • Ivy O.

I really like Chipotle and my gluteus maximus likes it even better so I cannot eat this food as often as I would like to. This food is really tasty and it is really hard "just to have one bite" and leave it at that. Service is fast and adequate. My favorite is a chicken burrito. I love the fresh taste of moist chicken and whatever spices they put on chicken make me a fan of this place.

    (4)
  • Xenia R.

    Skimpy on the guac!!!

    (1)
  • Zabrina G.

Only thing worth it on the menu is the pulled pork. The chicken is okay and the barbacoa is super spicy (at least for me). They really have to do a better job of trimming the beef, which is what gives it that chewey consistency that people are complaining about. Otherwise it's straight forward tacos and burritos. You pick your preference of soft/crunchy taco or burrito, pick your meat, fillings such as rice/beans, pick your salsa and your creation is wrapped up and ready to go. Hopefully you get someone that knows how to wrap the burrito correctly or you will be enjoying your creation with a fork, which is also fine.

My favorite fast food place to eat!!!!! Prefer Chipotle over Moe's anyday. I always order a steak burrito with rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and corn. The sauce I always put on my burrito is either their salad dressing (very sweet) or the jalepeno green sauce. The burrito bowl is good, too! I refer this place to all my friends!! I'd eat there everyday if I had to! ;)

    (5)
  • Eileen A.

Why all the bad reviews guys? I have never had a bad experience here when it comes to the food. The food always hits the spot and their chips&guac are the best. The service isn't that great, but what do u expect from a fast food joint? The music is always good (portishead, radiohead...etc) and it's cheap.

  • Ellen B.

i adore chipotle. i love how they try to use local meats (dunno how successful they are at that in miami). i tried the other kinds but settled on carnitas, NOM! this location is just fine inside, nice assortment of table types. service is fine, though i thought it was weird they wouldn't let me get a burrito bowl with my coupon for a free burrito when they're the same price. and it's not unhealthy, as long as you aren't a pig & get cheese & sour cream, which are dumb to get in a burrito anyway bc they're cold & they make the meat & rice & beans & tortilla cold in a way the lettuce & salsa don't. chipotlefan.com has a calorie calculator. like the homemade chips, good root beer. apparently they're charging ridiculously large amounts for ever-shrinking portions of guac, though, which isn't cool. hint: the manager here told me you can get as much of any ingredient except for meat or guac as you want. and you can get beans AND fajita style. and all the salsas if you like. i need a burrito SOON!

this place wasnt the greatest but i think it deserves a better rating than what its getting. i didnt go in expecting mexican. i knew it was pretty much a fast food place and man were they fast. i was eating 3 minutes after i got in. i ordered the steak burrito (little spicy). when it was handed to me i was surprised at how big it was. like, it was "fat to the point were things fall out and you have to eat it with a spoon" big. i loved it. but still, its just fast food. id go again if im in a hurry for sure

  • Michael A.

The line can be long but it's worth the wait. I come here a lot. The reason for the line is because of the customers making a big project out of paying.

    (5)
  • Megan G.

IT'S CHIPOTLE!!! One of the best places to eat, cheap, healthy, and "fast." I guess part of the wait is because Chipotle is sooooo good, it's always packed. This specific restaurant, you have to watch out for the rice though, sometimes they don't serve enough... Mostly, when there's people training; so watch out for this! I'd still give it 5 stars though!

Always packed, horrible parking, delicious food that always hits the spot. It's a lose win. I recently ordered via their app and noticed they completely messed up my order when I got home and opened my bowl (they forgot to add chicken & added guac inside the bowl which I didn't want). Very disappointing.

I could eat there every day!!!

  • Christian A.

I must agree with Eileen. This place is amazing! I really appreciate the fact that they go the extra mile to raise the animals naturally with no added hormones or antibiotics. This place is also good if you are watching your weight. They only give you a little bit of rice and the rest is crisp lettuce, fresh onions, tomatoes, corn, etc. There are some other options like cheese or sour cream, but those aren't the most healthy options. I strongly recommend the chicken burrito bowl. You can add a soda to your meal for a total cost of around 8 dollars. This place is great for people who are careful if what kind of meat they eat or enjoy the taste of quick yet high-quality Mexican food.

I go to the location in Pinecrest location and also Kendall but I prefer to go to the Pinecrest restaurant. I always enjoy eating brown rice, beans, chicken, and all the toppings. I also like their steak burrito The chips also are very good. Both locations are always full. I highly recommend both locations but I like the fact that there is a Starbucks right next to Chipotle.

I visit Chipotle restaurants throughout the city often. This location at 13612 N Kendall Dr is consistently the filthiest one I have been to. I have given it three (3) attempts and all three (3) times, it was like eating at a pigsty!!!

Me and my mom went to Chipotle today for lunch.I had a spicy steak burrito with cheese, sour cream and awesome sauce. My mom had the bowl of salad with corn, black beans, tomatoes and lettuce and got a side of nacho's we both shared. We both liked are food alot and definitely want to come back here.

This is THE WORST Chipotle I have ever been to. I have been to Chipotles all over the country - West Coast, Mid-West, Atlantic Coast, and the South. My biggest issue with this particular location is how little food they attempt to give you. I always have to pay for double meat and I still get less meat than I would get ordering a normal portion at any other location. It's not just the meat though; they try to skimp you on everything! When I order a burrito, I always have to ask for more rice, more beans, more cheese, it's ridiculous! I'm not a huge eater either, I'm 5'11" and weigh 175, I eat normal portions; I'm not asking for Super Size or anything! I'm not the only one with this issue either, I hear the people in front of me and behind me asking for more of everything too. The only reason I continue coming to this location is that I LOVE Chipotle and there is not another one within a reasonable distance of where I live. Whenever I am even close to Coral Gables or Pinecrest, I will go to those locations instead. Steer clear of this location if you can.

This particular chipotle's food is fine. It's the service that is terrible. The line is out the door every time I go there. And that's not because people are dying to get in, rather service is so slow that the line begins to accumulate over time. Last time I went I waited over 25 minutes for my bowl. The line seemed to crawl at a snail's pace. I'm debating whether I'll ever go back to this particular chipotle. The food is good the service is not. Too slow. I go to chipotle for a quick in and out experience and that's what I'll usually get at most Chipotle's. Not this one though.

    (2)
  • Christina S.

I give chipotle 3 stars only because of the service. I felt extremely rushed when I was trying to tell them what I wanted. Overall, the burrito bowl is really good! Another thing that I find ridiculous is that you need to pay extra for chips. Other places give it to you with your food.

I have to admit I have been here twice and it is really good, it hits the spot for the spicy moods I get, plus great serving sizes definitely worth it ;)

Chipotle is basically the same for each one you go to but sometimes they are out of supplies or the employees are not that great. This one had friendly employees and they were pretty fast with the lunch rush. I did have to wait for a little bit but that is expected for the lunch rush.

    (4)
  • Betty N.

My hubby and I have been coming here every Monday since last July- This past January- service started to decline BIG time- everything is too rushed, they aren't listening to what you are requesting as far as toppings, they ran out of prepackaged mini chips & they were unwilling to replenish and asked me to purchase the larger size- not a healthier option & they are more expensive. In the last few months they were being real stingy with their meat, chicken or pork options- today they were a bit better about that. The only friendly face we saw was the cashier everyone else was in a mad rush and wouldn't even look up. I'm sure they would hate being treated like this- why isn't management seeing this and training the staff better? It's not all about revenue & how many bowls you sell, you MUST pay attention to your service, bc although the food is good & your line is always long, people like us have stopped visiting your location because of your service- from weekly customers to once every 3 months. It's a shame! :( I gave it two stars cause the food is great, like other users whenever we used the app, they messed up our orders, so we stopped.

  • Katy S.

Not bad. Not great. Average is the best word to describe Chipotle. I think their biggest problem is their very limited menu. Not enough variations. There's not even any Queso which makes me sad :( The meats are too spicy in my opinion but I can still handle it. I've gotten a burrito which was okay. Everything is just as yelp described "MEH." I personally prefer Cantina Grill over this place but I'd choose Chipotle over Taco Hell (Bell)

You get a variety of choices of what you want. It is a good place for a group after searching for what to eat. I will come again another time.

Damn I wish I could eat here everyday. I really hope there are no calories in the burrito bowl. Wishful thinking. Not real Mexican food, but it is delicious

  • Johanna S.

I love Chipotle but this place is terrible. I'm always disappointed every visit. The service is horrible and the staff looks miserable. Every time I come here the tables are dirty and they run out of food. One time they ran out of steak, another time ran out of chips, and another time ran out of corn. I don't blame the employees but blame it on poor management.

    (1)
  • Jackie S.

Okay so here's my MAJOR gripe with Chipotle... "Why won't you heat my burrito???" What the hell Chipotle? No one wants to eat a cold burrito!!!! For a fast food Mexican joint, Chipotle would be considered tops. Meat quality is way better than Panchero's and even Lime. That said, you take last place because of your refusal to heat up my food!!!! And this particular establishment has a manager with a total Napoleon complex!!! What a shame!! :(

  • Claudia J.

Fresh ingredients+fast service+healthy food = Chipotle! A regular at this place, there is nothing more healthy than Chipotle for $6.00!! Love the salad, which you can add whatever you want to it; rice, black or pinto beans, pork, chicken, peppers, sweet corn, salsa, lettuce, cream, guacamole and a tortilla on the side please! Everytime I go there, there are customers, the line seems never to end! Meanwhile you see people behind the counter working like little ants, grilling chicken, getting fresh ingredients ready for the counter to be replenished! Their guacamole is made from REAL Aguacates!! I remember once having an outer piece of the Aguacate, good sign!! They make it from scratch!

  • Cesar R.

This is probably the chipotle I frequent the most because it's closer to where I live but every time I go there the service is excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodates to your needs and the food is always fresh. Highly recommend this place.

  • Michael M.

What can you really say about Chipotle? I mean, yea, its really good and I love the food. Overall, they just do it right, good Mexican food, quickly. I hate to review big corporations, but how can you not enjoy this place. the service is always good, (with the occasional burrito breaker) and fast, even when there is a 30 person line, I don't mind waiting. The food consistently taste good as well as being fresh, and after all, that's what counts with me. I eat here 3-4 times a week and don't see that changing anytime soon. If you live under a rock and have never been to Chipotle, I suggest you go check it out. Everything on the menu is good!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
