They've done a facelift to the inside of this place which is really nice. The food is ok. Great to pick up for quick dinner option that serves plenty. My two remarks are the very popular yellow sauce has become a bit more watered down it's not as dense as it once was and the chicken is rather dry. However, I know those two items are cooked in batches therefore i hope next time they're better off and eventually i can add a star.

Went there with my mother. The lady behind the counter never even said "Hi" just stood there staring blankly. Then I asked for a veggie chop and she stated it was on the menu when it wasnt at all and bickered for me for a bit of how its on the menu and im just not seeing it so finally she came out from the counter and viewed the menu with me and realized I was right. Anyways she ended up making on. Charged me extra for veggies being on it and for brown rice and never ever mention it until it was time to pay. She was extremely rude and I ended paying just as much or more as if I had chicken on my plate even thought it was a meatless chop. The veggies were old, the beans were watered down. It was horrible, couldnt even finish my meal. No wonder there was no one eating there when I arrived.

Came here with my daughter the place was a ghost town a lady with poor English attends us, we both do not eat meat so we ask if they have a "veggie chop chop" she said they do but not listed on the menu. So we go ahead and order that and ask for brown rice since she did ask what kind of rice we would like then she puts some lettuce with soggy tomatoes and watered down beans. I then ask for onions (since there is no meat on my chop chop it's common sense it comes with more veggies than a chicken chop chop) she pokes the onions on my chop chop then afterwards mentions its 50 cents extra... I end up just paying and then when I look at the receipt she charged me extra for the brown rice which was disgusting and to add on she did not say it was extra, and she then charged us extra for the veggies and charged us as if we had chicken, the customer service was horrendous and when I complained she said "this isn't subway" in Spanish. My daughter and I sit to eat and the first spoon full was horrible. Everything was watered down and not fresh at all! Do not waste your time and money on this place!!!

Chicken Kitchen was great ten years ago. Now, not so much. Aside from the average food, this particular location has the distinction of having the worst delivery service of any restaurant on Earth! They take AT LEAST an hour to get to a house less than 2 miles away, and they never EVER get the order right! Save yourself the aggravation and order some grilled chicken from any Latin restaurant. You'll get more bang for your buck and(hopefully) won't have to deal with idiots.

Horrible this is the second time they get my order wrong.the only reason I go because my son likes.they don't know how to wrap a wrap it o .when they went to eat it fell apart.last nite I went they had no cheese.the guy didn't know what a wrap I to is .I asked him several times if they added cheese and beans he said yes charged me extra I get home no cheese.no beans terrible

Stay away! I ordered for delivery, they told me an hour wait which I thought was ridiculous since I live less than 5 minutes but I couldn't leave my house so I decided to wait. An hour passed, and hour and 15 minutes passed and I still hadnt received my chicken! So I called, they tell me my food should arrive within 5 minutes. I waited another 20 minutes before the two chop chops I ordered arrived. Of course, by the time it arrived my food was stale and soggy. An hour and 35 minutes wait for the two chop chops to arrive on a weekday. NEVER AGAIN!

I'm come here more often than I should; it's perfectly fine, if a bit overpriced. It's really hard to screw up chicken and rice and if it's ever sub-par, you can slather the fantastic mustard and curry sauce on it. It's quick and consistent, which makes it a good a fairly good fast food replacement but nothing more.

I've heard about Chicken Kitchens for years so I figured I might as well try it out... yuck. Once i entered this location and read previous reviews I was automatically disappointed. However, being hungry and already inside, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered. The whole bowl was rice! Chicken was kind of dry and just an overall bad experience... blah.

I use to like chicken kitchen but after my last two visits to this location, I think I am going to stay away from there for a while. What happened to the great, fresh, healthy chicken kitchen that I use to love while I was in highschool??The chicken taste horrible. Its really chewy and just has no flavor. I go there to try to eat healthy and I honestly felt gross after eating their food, which I couldnt even finish. I am not sure if all locations are as bad as this one, but this one will not be seeing my money any time soon.

What happened to you??? You used to be delicious. You've changed your marinade and now your chicken taste bad.

I had the Oriental Wrapito, pretty good, but I have had better. It had teriyaki chicken (the best park of the wrap), lettuce, tomato, and a few other yummy ingredients wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. The second time I had the Oriental Bowl which had all the ingredients of the wrap but sitting on brown rice instead of in the tortilla. I definitely prefer the wrap over the bowl. I actually didn't like it over the brown rice, even though it was a healthier choice. I also had a side of tomatoes in vinegar, that was VERY good. Prices are fine.

chicken kitchen is one of the biggest things i miss about living in miami. as a broke as shit fiu student this place was an easy way to drop a couple bucks for a relatively healthy cheap meal that would easily fill you up. a local friend of me taught me the fine art of applying liberal amounts of the uber delicious curry mustard sauce to an original chop chop, putting on a to go lid inverting said chop chop and shaking the shit out of it until the sauce is fully incorporated. this was a regular practise of mine for about 4 years.... this place was the reason why i did not waste away at college.

This Chicken Kitchen used to be THABOMB.com but now not so much! It used to be owned by two brothers, who kept place squeeky clean and the food was fresh. Now since it is no longer a franchise, the food quality sucks! Sometimes they give you chicken that has been sitting out all day and it tastes like rubber. This has not happened to me once but twice when of course I had it out with the manager. I'm done with this place, which is sad because I used to love this place. This went from one of the best Chicken Kitchens to one of the worst. The only time you can come here and get fresh un rubbery chicken is during lunch time which of course I never go at that time. I mean not only has the foos quality suffered but the food protions wow can I have some chicken with that rice? I remember the first Chicken Kitchen, by Miami Dade college. Wow they used to serve you a chop chop in those white styrofoam box things. I had food for two days. Not only that wow look chicken in my chop chop

I came at this place and there where at least 4 people standing around doing nothing and playing with their phones... Only one person helping customers and what is worse, they close 10 minutes earlier with customers outside wanting to come in.

Awful service! Placed an order, waited two hours for food, which NEVER arrived, called restaurant... They said sorry we "lost" your order.... not the first this happens, but definitely the last time we will order from this location!

Food was good, not like it use to be. Small chop-chop was just enough, a large is huge. I gave 3 stars because the mood in there sucked. The guys making the food was nice the cashier rude. No background music, ordered chicken with skin and they took charred skin from the grill rather than keeping it on the chicken, the cashier girl slammed (and I mean slammed where even her coworker looked over cause it was loud) my cup down and I said I wanted 2 drinks a few times & she just starred but when my bf said 2 cups she acknowledged him plus when I gave her 21 dollars the total was 20.18, she gave me 18 cents back!

Probably the best chicken kitchen left in Miami. The owner is super cool and friendly with his regulars. I don't recommend delivery, it takes forever and arrives lukewarm. Eat in or pick up.

Not the best chicken kitchen ive visited. Seems like a lot have changed since the last time i came here. Dont do delivery.. they have it but your food will take forever!

Maybe if I hadn't tried a competing restaurant I might have given Chicken Kitchen a higher rating but since I did I'll give it a 3/5 ~ good food and convenient location but service is a tad slow and the portion of chicken they give you is not proportionate to everything else that is on the plate (add more chicken!) Other than that the new renovations are really nice and give the location a fancy flare.

I don't go to chicken kitchen too often, but I was very happy with my last visit. There are so many new food choices since the last time I was here. I went with the Mexican wrapito, but I noticed they now have brown rice, mashed potatoes, sweet potato mash, and whole wheat pitas. I had my wrapito, which is their version of a burrito, on a whole wheat tortilla. The service I received was very friendly and the food was delicious.

Quick, tasty, cheap. Pretty much hits the high points for what a restaurant should be. It's not anything you're going to write home about, but the chicken is good quality, the rice is tasty, and the service is very quick and friendly. The combo meal is a particularly good value.

I use this place when I was something quick and good. The workers don't look as if they are excited to be there. Apart from that, it's affordable fast food that is better quality than BK, KFC, etc.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
