The food is awesome here and priced around 7 bucks for main, rice and a soda is a pretty good deal! We eat here at least once a month- cashew chicken, chicken lo mein and the honey garlic, veggies are fresh and crisp and they do not skimp on the chicken. While the food is excellent, I highly recommend the take out due to the absolutely terrible customer service! They do not value their customers at all and are never friendly and welcoming- even their regulars as we were (we used to go there every wednesday night). The food is wonderful and cheap but go take out so that you meal isn't ruined by the terrible service! Food quality is probably 3 1/2-4 stars but the service is probably 1 1/2!

Definitely the best Chinese in the Cutler bay area, All veggies are always fresh, Large portion sizes. But sadly always do Take out. The customer service Sucks and Guy never smiles, Makes you wonder if He's upset you showed up. But really good Food.

I am rating them strictly on their honey chicken because I'm pretty darn picky and usually not up for trying new things. I've never actually dined-in so I can't say much for their service but they are quick to deliver and cheaper than the other chinese place by my house that is really not so great. The honey chicken is AWESOME but can be shared by two people because it's a HUGE portion size. I'm hesitant to order from anywhere else now at the risk of being disappointed.

Every good review that's been said it 1000% TRUE. The food is off the chain, the delivery was hear super fast and nice a d hot, and the ribs and cream cheese filled wonton are the bomb digady. Most definitely I will be eating from this place again. xoxo

Best Chinese joint in Cutler Bay or surrounding areas. Hands down the best. The honey chicken is amazing. Cheap prices, great quality. They make the food very fast and very fresh as well. If you are wondering if you should hit this place up...do it.

Really enjoyed the chicken chow mein and special fried rice. The honey chicken was a little too sweet for my taste. We got the special #2 to share between my husband and I and we didn't even make a dent in the food! There's still so much left. I think it would serve a family of 4-5!!

It was about 10pm. They took my order over the phone after saying please hold about 10 times in one phone call. There were people feeing cats outside the back door.... My food was gross, especially the chicken... Then I got the idea that I was eating cat... End of story. Take your risk..!

This is not good Chinese food. Rice was horrible and the meat on the pepper steak tasted funny. The fried chicken chunks were drenched in oil and brown, tasted stale. Beef with broccoli was tolerable. The cream cheese wonton is only good thing here.

The food is outstanding and the delivery has been less than 30 minutes each time. Order anything, you really can't go wrong. Our faves are the wings, cream cheese wonton, honey chicken, egg drop soup is exceptionally good, shrimp (jumbo and fresh) with lobster sauce, fried dumplings, even the french fries are above average. They are all business on the phone, probably because they are super busy and work really hard. Don't take it personally and enjoy the food.

The food is outstanding. There's nothing you could possibly order that would be a misstep. My best advice is that you have to know exactly what you want before you order on the phone. They're not exactly the kindest but I think it's mostly because they get a crazy amount of phone calls, especially on the weekend. I especially enjoy the honey garlic chicken and the cream cheese wontons.

Outstanding food! We ordered egg foo young. Garlic honey chicken. Fried dumplings. Cream Cheese Wontons. Egg drop soup. Beef and broccoli and Sesame Chicken. ALL OF IT WAS PERFECT even with delivery which was timely. They supplied me with plates and forks. The wontons are so flakey and creamy. The egg foo young gravy wasn't salty but thick and flavorful. Absolutely impressed with this delivery. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Love love love. Will be ordering again.

I'm from NYC where we take our Chinese food very seriously. I've been searching for good Chinese food since I've moved to Miami. Chef Chen is by far THE BEST Chinese food I've had in the 8 years I've lived here. The food is made to order and tastes great!!

Living in this town (Cutler Ridge/Bay/South Miami Heights, ect) over 11 years, Ive hit up all the non-remarkable Chinese places in the Ridge (takee outee, china gate, peter's kitchen, Tokyo buffet). On a whim we tried Chef Chen's cuz it's on the way home and OMG--- is the best! The food is actually freshly prepared and tasty. Cream cheese wontons were actually hand filled by someone, unheard of in this day and age where Chinese joints stay in business by literally deep fry prepackaged anything and everything. Lots of grilled/vegetarian options, too. I LOVE the Teriyaki Chicken sticks. Went out of my comfort zone and tried the curry noodles, it was a standout. Weekends get crazy, so order in advance & pick it up. Delivery can be a 1.5 hour wait. It's the hood's little secret.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
