It took me quite a long time to find a god Chinese restaurant. I love that they do NOT have MSG! The food quality is always awesome! I have yet to have a bad experience here! They are very nice and attentive. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so!

The food was alright, I'm new in town and it's always hard finding a good Chinese restaurant so this one will have to do until I find a better one had the number 19 combo pork free fried rice with sesame seed chicken smelled great and taste was A-ok!

Typical Chinese take-out restaurant. I always go with the General Tso's Chicken and some pan-fried dumplings. Location is easy to get to, right off of Ludlam Road near the Bird Road intersection. Never ate inside the restaurant; I have always done take-out. Inside is very dark and dingy, but seems clean. Not the best, but definitely good quality Chinese food if you are craving it.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had!!!! everything was so greasy I could not even eat it. I did not even recognize the General Chow chicken. The food looked as though it had been sitting around for hours.

Typical American-Chinese restaurant. They don't have any authentic Chinese food which is a shame, but the American-chinese food they do offer is up there with the rest.

We went on Thursday at 12:30. We were the only customers. Food was good. Portions were huge for lunch combinations. Service was bad, but the kitchen was quick. We had to find the waitress and ask her to take our order. Then, find her again to ask for the check and a to-go box. $25 for 2 lunches, 2 Cokes and an appetizer. Would return for the value of the good food.

chow mein is fried noodles!! Not fried rice!! Please do some research when you decided to open a Cantonese restaurant. I am a Cantonese I felt like it is not typical at all.

I ordered the beef chow mein and what came out was not chow mein. Chow mein has the large flat rice noodles, mixed with vegetables and a meat of your choice. What came out was beef with vegetables and a side of a bowl of rice. The food was good, typical Chinese food at a reasonable price, but really, chow mein=noodles. Staff was friendly although my waitress barely spoke English (her primary language was Spanish). I'd be willing to give this place another shot.

This Canton Rose has been here for ages. I do remember when they first opened... but that was nearly two decades ago. Unfortunately, I either got them on a very bad day or their quality has diminished over time. I had ordered two dishes, chicken lo mein and chicken and broccoli. I was not impressed with either one. I had asked for white meat on the chicken, and it was. No problems there. The flavor on the other hand... bland and watery. I really had hopes. The carrots included in the chicken and broccoli looked as if they were out of a can. They had too much of a uniformed look to be hand cut. Sure, a professional chef can cut things evenly; this wasn't that. The corn was cut in an odd zig-zag pattern. Bottom Line: Ehhh... if there aren't any other options, sure, but don't go out of your way.

I like to try new places, but boy was this a mistake. Fried rice ok. Chicken tasted weird. Ribs were horrible. This place could kill my adventurous spirit.

The food was fantastic. I had the Mongolian Beef, pork fried rice, crab rangoon, and egg roll. All top notch

After reading good reviews we were so disappointed. We were 2 of 4 customers eating at the restaurant. Because the staff was having a round table dinner in the center table, it was hard to get the server's attention because she acted like we were interrupting her meal. But strangely enough none of them spoke to each other, just eating and ignoring us. We finally called over to get some water and menus and she finished her bite and sauntered over, obviously annoyed we were so demanding. She brought LaChoy crunchy noodles and I tried to order but she told me I had to order off the menu on the back page. We ordered the typical American Chinese meal (crab Rangoon, orange chicken with egg roll and fried rice). All had no flavor and greasy, except the orange sauce was brown and very hot spicy. Very disappointed. We'll keep looking for some good American Chinese food in Miami. No luck yet.

we get takeout/delivery from Canton Rose about 2-3x month. decent Chinese food, nothing over the top, but for $25 bucks we get enough food for two days. our favorites are beef Lo mein, crab Rangoon, special fried rice, and beef with broccoli. most dishes come with white rice and egg rolls. I have never eaten in the actual restaurant, but I give it 4 stars for the price, taste, and quickness!

FINALLY! Decent Chinese food in Miami - it only took me 5 years to find it! Like another reviewer, I am from Boston. Therefore I was spoiled by growing up with fantastic Chinese food (and pizza - but that's another subject entirely). I've eaten at just about every Chinese place in Miami and have been disappointed and/or sickened (literally) every time. The eggrolls here are of the variety I'm familiar with - TONS of shredded vegetables inside, crispy, eggy outside. YUM. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a 'good' eggroll in Miami! The beef teriyaki on a stick, while not the most appetizing looking, is actually great, albeit small. The crab rangoon is extra cream-cheesy, not much crab, but they're generously filled and the wontons are not over-fried. Their pork fried rice is very good. I'm still looking for a place that serves my all-time favorite "northeastern US" style Chinese chicken fingers - golden fried tempura battered chicken chunks *Homer Simpson drool* ...hopefully I find it here some day soon so I don't have to wait until my trips to Boston to gorge on them. All in all, if you're in the area and want delicious, actually edible, Americanized Chinese, come here! Their prices are reasonable and portions are generous.

Good place for takeout. Haven't experienced the whole menu but for the bread and butter stuff(special fried rice, honey chicken and Wong tong soup) place gets the job done. One thing to avoid, the shrimp rolls. These babies are literally drinking straws in girth.

Awesome food. Good service. I am use to Chinese food from the Boston area and most places around here are disgusting with the photos of the dishes over the register. What a joy to find a decent place.

Excellent Chinese restaurant, it wasn't easy to find a decent Chinese restaurant in Miami. Easy to spot and park, no problem finding a parking compare to other places specially compare to New York. Friendly and great food and great price is what make this restaurant rated 5 stars. Highly recommend this place, a place must stop before hitting the road down to the south beach again next time. Right off the Miami International Airport take 826, get off bird rd. Corner of Ludlam Rd. Cheers!!

This is my delivery spot. I love it. The food is always delivered nice and HOT and fresh. Customer service is nice and they're pretty fast too-- even when it's raining. Prices are pretty standard Chinese take-out prices. My kids love their ribs.

Ordered some takeout from this restaurant last week and was surprised by how decent the food really was. It's Americanized Chinese food, so I can't give it more than 3 stars. However, it wasn't greasy at all and the chicken actually tasted like chicken and not rubber. Yay for Canton Rose!

Very seldom there is a Fast Food Chinese take out place that you can actually say... That was pretty GOOD.

Great pickup service! Always smiling! Special fried rice is great and they have super yummy drumettes! Positive feedback for the crab rangoons!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
