Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Service was bad as hell. The food was nothing special and the place was unpleasant. Why does this kind of place exist? I mean, if they don't get enough customers. why are they still on business? Not gonna be wandering in this place again ever.

Dust everywhere. Service was very slow with only 4 people in the restaurant. I can't imagine how this place is in rush hours.

I'll start by saying I understand this is a burger King. I know when I come here tu expect a bunch of high schoolers. This is where I go to eat cheap fast gross food. But this place makes me lose faith in humanity. I go through the drive thru, order the food. Pay. Whatever. The food they gave us is room temp. And while we got what was on the reciept, we did not get what we ordered. Go inside, they can not comprehend why I'm saying my order is wrong, because I have What's on the reciept. They take back some food, um ok. Then I need a refund. Ended up paying 6$ more to get less food than we ordered. .. cold. I am writing this review as a reminder to myself to stop going here. Seriously though. .. these people deserve 15$ an hour. Ordered delivery to a block away (couldn't leave work) and three hours later it still hadn't arrived. I was almost done with my shift at that point. Cancelled it. Was still charged. Asked a friend, guess her delivery was delivered THE DAY AFTER SHE PLACED THE ORDER. wtf.

In short, terrible, terrible service. I came here to pick up food for a group of us nerding out playing board games (Descent: Journeys in the Dark, if you must know) at a friend's nearby apartment. A BK run is sort of a tradition for us. One of them had a coupon for a burger and a drink, so I cashed that in, no problem, along with the rest of my $35 group order. While I'm waiting by the counter for my order, a middle-aged woman walks up wearing a Publix uniform who was also ordering for a group. I didn't see what her total came out to, but it was obviously significantly more than what she was planning on eating. She hands them two coupons, one for a few pennies off a burger, and the other for something like a dollar off a couple cinnamon buns. The cashier told her he can't take the second coupon. What? Apparently the store has a policy of taking one coupon per customer per 24 hour period, and they enforce it with fascist determination. I felt bad for the woman, who was demonstrably excited about the cinnamon buns, and offered to use her coupon for her. The cashier then dragged out my receipt (coupon attached) and told me I'd already reached my limit as well. Since both of us were ordering for more than three people, I thought this was a bit excessive and told the cashier as much, at which point the manager noticed the fuss, came over, and approved the cashier's decision. She ended up not getting the Cinnamon buns. If Burgers are King here, then customers are clearly somewhere much further down on the hierarchy. Now as a libertarian, I support the rights of the restaurant owner to create whatever policy he wants for his restaurant. He owns the restaurant, and can sell his food at whatever price he wants. This is the beauty of the free market. The nice thing about living in a free market is that I, as the customer, can take my dollars wherever I want. So feel free to continue enforcing your one coupon policy with vigor, Brickell Burger King. Keep stiffing working class women trying to be a little frugal. You're free to do so. I'll use my freedom too, to take my legal tender to a restaurant that uses common sense when enforcing its policies and respects its customers.

This business has a huge sticker on the window that reads "we deliver"... called for over an hour at 9:00 PM Saturday and never answered... I guess this is why everyone gave them such a poor rating... zero customer service!! Let's just say that it was too late for delivery... can you at least answer your phone??

Was here over Christmas vacation. They are right by the Mary Brickell Village, so quite handy. There's a gigantic construction site across the street, so their workers are constantly at this BK. The lady that took my order did so as she was talking to someone else and not paying much attention. I said a burger and small drink, apparently she heard onion rings as that's what I got. The onion rings were pretty good, but OK get it right. Large dining area with panoramic street view on two sides. A block or two from trolley and metromover stops.

Worst bk I've ever been to. It was about 120 am. Me and my friend had just left the club. We saw the restaurant not to far away and was excited for the tasty broiled burgers. Before we went inside we doublechecked what time they closed and seeing as they closed at 200am we proceeded to.go inside... Nope... This tiny, plump ass girl quickly wobbles to the front door and locks it as we reached for the handle. And motions across her neck like they were done for the night....really? So, confused and put off me and my friend walked around the building to see what other places were still open to eat. However my daring friend quickly noticed that the side door was still open....eeek! As we walked in you could hear them laughing and swearing and when we came into sight the few that noticed us walked away. And to my suprise two more females walked in behind us.. I guess they saw their chance to eat there as well. But these girls walked in loud and drunk as hell..barefoot and yelling that they were going to "make these guys work" and so on. When one of them asked that she just wanted nuggets one employee said "I got two dried up nuggets for you." Really? But thankfully the manager kicked the other two out and took our order. Even though he was clearly not happy about it... I can say that I understand how these employees felt, especially since I worked at a late night fast food place when I was younger. And some days all I wanted to do was close up shop and leave before any late night scragglers held me up... But we were 45 minutes from the actual closing time. Not professional at all. I don't care if you work at burger king..its still a job...that you get paid for! Some people would kill to have a paying job nowadays so don't take it for granted!!! Just an overall bad and awkward experience.

Went to check my email account at decided to relax and have a quick lunch. Burger King seemed ample. This particular BK carries garden burgers by Morningstar Farms. So, I got it with onion rings and a small fountain drink. The line was short. My wait was long. Then, they overcharged me. I ordered off the Dollar Value Menu instead of making a combo meal. It seemed everything is the same, however, the pre-made combo cost a buck more. I didn't even know they had a Value Meal for the veggie burger. So I found the mistake, but the person at the register didn't understand, because that's how it rang up. Whatever! Okay, so now I'm sitting in a clean spacious seating area with a growing group of National Guards. It should of felt safe. But I seemed out of place. And decided to eat quick. It is fast food. Right?! Well.... I had soda. Dr. Pepper sounds healthy. So why not. And the onion rings are sinfully delicious with or without that special dipping sauce. Then, I unwrapped my veggie burger on a sesame seed bun. It was smushed. I looked at it for a little. Finally taking a bite of the garden burger, I further realized it was mayo-ketchup laden. The lettuce was wilted too. I got through a third of the sandwich. The veggie burger was fairly stomach-churning. I couldn't finish it.

OK, since Martin O. rated a Micky D's yesterday, I decided I'm not too proud to add this one for a BK. I can't tell you the last time I've eaten at one of these chain fast food places, but I ran in here quickly on my way to Tobacco Road's 96th Anniversary bash last night, as I knew Tobacco Road would be packed and I wanted to eat something quickly before heading over. To be honest, I don't think I've been in a restaurant that was worse. 5 or 6 people standing in line who'd already ordered and paid, but were waiting on their food because they had 1 new guy trying (very slowly) to make all the food, while the manager and an assistant visibly sat in an office, chatting and laughing away. After waiting close to 10 minutes for a Jr. Whopper and fries (I would have left if I hadn't already paid), I went over to grab a beverage...Hit the button for a Coke, got water. Went to get ketchup for my fries...Ketchup dispenser was empty. Went to sit down, every table was dirty and had bits of food everywhere on the tables, chairs and floors. Again, I could hear the manager laughing away from her office, while everything in this s@%t hole was falling apart. I finally located a place to sit, bit into my burger, and the tomatoes were mostly green and not ripe. As mentioned, it's been a very long time since I've been to one of these types of joints. Now I know why! Da da da da da, I'm Lovin' it!

I have no choice but to stop here to get my son food before dropping him off at his grandmother's house (she lives a block away). THEY always get the order wrong OR they forget something. I got off once to use the rest room and it wasnt pretty folks. I usually wait like 10 minutes in the drive through before I can get my food. I guess they're on a timer, so when they take long they ask you to park and they will bring you the food. I am trying to convince my son to get food else where because this place is a nightmare.
