This place seems clean and the lady who served us was very nice, but, our experience was bad. Our first warning sign should have been the fact that we were the only ones there, aside from our server/hostess and cook behind the counter. We walked in and looked over the menu before deciding we would stay. We were told to sit anywhere we liked, so we sat down and the server came for our drink order. She told us they were under new management and they did not have a full menu...so we had a limited number of things to choose from. I went with a cheese quesadilla and my husband went with the lechon chunks and rice and beans. My quesadilla came with guacamole, which had an overpowering lime and salt flavor. You couldn't taste the avocado at all. My quesadilla was conveniently flipped onto it's charred side, so that I hopefully wouldn't notice. It tasted a bit peculiar, not at all like a standard quesadilla...I then realized it contained mayonnaise inside along with the cheese, which I thought was strange, and kind of gross. It was supposed to come with sour cream, but I wasn't given any. When I asked for some, our server said, "Sure, I'll be right back" and took off running outside of the restaurant. She was gone about 10 minutes and came back with a tub of sour cream in a Publix bag, which she then put into a ramekin and gave me. She was very apologetic. My husband's lechon was extremely dry, and came out about 10 minutes after my quesadilla. Before we left, our server left the restaurant once again...we assume she had to go back to Publix for more ingredients for some customers who came in after us, but we aren't sure. Again, the server seemed very nice, but we won't be going back.

Came across this location the other day that replaces the former residence of Iguana Ranas Mexican Grill. It's a nice little soccer (and other sports) pub with typical bar favorites and some Latin dishes and sides. Feels like a good place to have a sports outting, especially for some futbol! I was greeted promptly by a server and took a look at the menu. They have a self acclaimed Famous Pan con Lechon, so I decided to give it a try along with a ham croqutea (also offer chicken and chorizo). Food was made prompt and service was great. Croqueta- was tasty and crispy. Would order again. Pan con Lechon- I enjoyed the sandwich. Not the best in the world, but good flavor and size for the price. There are other items I do look forward to trying so I will be returning soon to get more of a taste and experience. Website doesn't seem to working for me. But they can be found on facebook and twitter. They also have $.99 beers on Wednesdays. That's all for now.

So the sign says "Best pan con lechón!" - I had to try it. I have seen a lot of restaurants come and go from this spot so I had high hopes that something good had finally come along. Boy was I disappointed, at first glance this was not what I expected. It was pork chunks not the soft roasted pork I'm used to. I could've forgiven that if it had flavor, instead what I got was flavorless, hard dry pork chunks on stale bread with 2 slices of over ripe tomatoes and way too many onions. This was the driest sandwich I have ever tried. I had taken it to go so I even tried to fix it, so as not to waste the 7.50 I spent on it but no way it was disgusting. I will never eat there again. The menu went into the garbage with the "best pan con lechón" that never was. My advice is to skip this place and go to Islas canarias or any other Cuban place.

Where do I begin . The hostess was pleasant but from there it was down hill we got there Saturday on the way to another restaurant, tempted by the sign on the window best pan con lechon we needed to try. So the menu is a mix match of items we chose chicken wings 3 pan con lechon 1 salchipapas and kids chicken nuggets So we got our sodas all different mismatch we didn't ask for but was told the machine was broken So okay Then 25 minutes later and a guy running out to get Cuban bread from Publix supermarket for our sandwiches Oh did. I mention we were the only ones in the restaurant . Our greasy wings with wilted celery came out along with my grandsons meal he bit into it and they were frozen and they weren't chicken they were cheese. So we decided to ask for our check and leave. So I couldn't tell you if the rest of the food was good or not but I didn't want to risk anymore . The place is clean and looks maybe they can get it together .

Was walking by to pick up my cloths from the dry cleaning and notice them. They just opened about 3 months ago, so I decided to give it a try. They have a dinner special of $3.99, got pork chunks and they were pretty good. The special is limited time only... Think it's a grand opening special. When you enter it has flags of every country and though it was pretty neat. It is family friendly and does offer beer for those who like to watch games. They have TVs everywhere and music is always playing. They have tables out side too for those who just like to sit outside, waiter are friendly.
