Healthy Meal suggestions for Ruby Tuesday

Wow, I don't remember the last time I had an experience this good at a chain. The salad bar is amazing. A lot of care is taken with chopping up the vegetables in small bite-sized pieces. I ordered the flat bread pizza appetizer and it was SO tasty! Our waitress was wonderful, friendly and funny. But what I noticed mostly was the way that all the staff members were that way. That's good management. Bravo Ruby Tuesday!

Another plain ol' normal Ruby Tuesday meal. Ruby Tuesday is one of those places where the menu really pops out, the pictures and descriptions really tempt you to try everything on the menu, and the seasonal/new items are always intriguing...but the result is always the same. An adequate meal that you can't complain about, but you don't write home about either. As usual, the best part of the visit was the salad bar. Fresh, quality ingredients with maybe two wilted greens in the whole salad bar. I think it would benefit them greatly to add one of their normal fruit/veggie sides from the menu to the salad bar, and change it weekly or something, to give it a little variety. My daughter got the sliders and broccoli, which was actually served as sliders and fries, but he brought the broccoli after and left the fries with no extra charge so that was nice. And my bf got the jambalaya, I believe. The jambalaya had good flavors, but the strings of shriveled onion were unappealing, and the meat had some crispy bits that added an unpleasant taste, however when eaten together with the noodles it was hardly noticeable. The fries were actually pretty good. They were fast food style (little fatter than shoestring) with some skin on them, were lightly seasoned, and not greasy at all. The sweet tea, though...bleh. Not sweet with a weak tea flavor. This is one of those 'every 6 months' type of restaurants.

Ordered a item off their menu I had pulled up online and they claimed they had no idea what I was talking about so I ordered a chicken caesar salad. The supposed 20 minute wait turned into 40 at which take out patrons are forced to stand around and wait in the bar area that's a high traffic walkway. I finally get my salad get back to work and I have lukewarm salmon on a soggy salad....REALLY?!?! Not going back to dine nor did I have any time left in my lunch hour to go back and get a salad I could actually eat. Prices aren't even cheap enough for their food to be this crappy.

I really like their salad bar. It is pretty fresh & the croutons are amazing ( no really, they're hidden at the end ). My partner always gets the mushroom Swiss burger & he likes it. I tend to experiment. I am disappointed in the avocado turkey burger this time. There is hardly any avocado or bacon & it's dry even with ketchup. I will certainly not order that again. The fries are mediocre. The salad bar almost makes up for it.

Food was good and fairly quick. Perhaps a bit expensive for the causal mall crowd, but on par with TGI Fridays or Uno's (both in the mall parking lot). New garlic cheese biscuits (free!) came out before the meal and were OK. A little bit dry, but our 9-month old didn't seem to mind. The salad bar is GREAT with fresh baby spinach, mixed greens, and a variety of toppings. The brown bread croutons are the BEST!

The Ruby Tuesday's on Fiske Blvd in Rockledge is much better than this one at the mall- sometimes one is a victim of one's own convenience, though. Their food is average at this location; the service staff is the same and has low turn-over, so the faces are generally familiar.

All I wanted out of life was a salad bar. Why on earth is that such a rare thing? I hate to pick this (a chain) over all the local, cool looking choices, while I'm on vacation, but I was totally full up on fried food and wanted massive amounts of salad. I know this joint has a salad bar, and I've never been, so we trucked over to the mall. It took a few minutes to get our server, but she had a few tables come in at the same time, and from there, she was great. I got a heaping plate of salad, which was great, fresh, and good quality veggies. I also sampled the pasta salad, which was not healthy, but awesome. Their croutons were a level of special (and not healthy) as well. I got three kinds of fish (lobster, shrimp, and a crab cake), and some broccoli, which was pretty good, but then I went back for another plate of salad and finished it all. Disclaimer: I ran a marathon the day before, my metabolism was on overdrive. I don't usually house two plates of salad, 2 biscuits, and a whole plate of food for dinner, but I'm glad Ruby Tuesday's was there for me to do so that day. I would totally come back here - great salad bar, tons of food choices - alas, they do not exist near my 'hood in Austin.

Been to a Ruby Tuesday two times in the last three months due to a gift card. Service has been good both times just this last time the food was so so. I ordered the shrimp and fries and I guess I got what I paid for and you can tell it was frozen shrimp from and thrown in a deep fryer. I guess you live and learn.

Went with family to eat. My food was amazing but not so for others. One person got the hickory bourbon salmon and it was disgusting. I tried it and it had absolutely no flavor. We told the waiter and he acted like we were crazy according to him that was his favorite.

My family and I love Ruby Tuesdays, My husband mainly loves his famous blooming onion as his appetizer and a full rack of BBQ baby back ribs with a side of fresh made french fries, and I of coarse order my famous sirloin steak with a side of steamed broccoli and and french fries as well. As for my daughter she usually switches it up a bit and orders between the spaghetti or the chicken fingers and french fries. Everything is always delicious when we order and we cant wait to order again.

We eat at R.T.s about twice a week. The main reason we eat there is because of their awesome salad bar. Well, the last 2 times we have been there they made a couple of changes to it. The biggest one was that they took off the potato salad and that is one of the best items on it. The recipe R.T. uses is outstanding and very tasty. We miss it very much. Also, the coleslaw is not tangy and sweet any more. It tastes sour as they are now using Blue Cheese dressing in it which, to us, tastes just awful. We asked the waitress and she said the new changes are because of the changes in the regular menu. Also, no more apple-waldorf sald, another favorite. Why fix something if it isn't broken? We don't like the changes and wonder how many other people feel as we do? It'll make us think twice about going back there, at least for the salad bar.

I love the salad bar - it is the best salad bar in town. Can eat at a fair price. Usually you can get right in with little to no wait.

Another lovely dinner. The lobster dip was delicious and hot. Salad bar was fresh, clean and wonderful. I had petite steak and lobster tail with zucchini and salad bar. My other half had ny strip, zucchini and salad bar. His steak was very juicy and flavorful and my lobster was small but tasty. We drove from Melbourne here instead of Rockledge because of previous experience. We will probably do it again. Good service, good food and good prices.

We always love Ruby Tuesday's. It may even be one of our favorite places to go. This location was odd. The entire place smelled like old feet and the bathroom smelled worse and was super dirty. I had to clean the seat with paper towels and soap before I could use it. Food was still great, Salad bar was great! But if I did not know Ruby Tuesday food, The smell would have pushed me right back out that door.
