So this is another long over-due review. I considered not doing a review because after all it's Starbucks, but being that I frequent this particular location very, very often (sometimes even daily), I figured I owed it to myself and fellow yelpers to review this shop. Why do I dig this particular Starbucks in particular? Well, for one, it's right around the corner from my parent's house. When I'm in Melbourne, it makes for a quick commute and easy escape from the house. Secondly, the staff is pretty friendly. They always greet you as you walk in. Sometimes they engage you in conversation which I particularly enjoy. One time I was even invited to a coffee tasting and schooled on the intricacies of expresso (which was quite interesting; I had no clue that expresso loses it potency/ effectiveness in like 30 seconds). Now that Starbucks has free wi-fi, I can hang out, surf the net, listen to tunes, and enjoy my coffee in a comfortable atmosphere while doing a little people watching on the side. I have really learned to love the bar that they have as well. It's a little nook that allows you to peer in on the employees every now and then as they seamlessly prepare drinks. The only thing is they used to have a camera that showed the drive thru people which I found pretty entertaining. It's never on anymore! But that hasn't deterred me from going back. It's a clean, nice, fairly quiet location.

I love this Starbucks 95% of the time. The team members there are all friendly, most of them seriously know there stuff. I visit this particular Starbucks on a VERY regular basis, and on most days would be willing to go out of my way to hit this one over some of the others in the area. I drink an espresso drink, and since it isn't one that has any syrups or flavorings added to it, shot quality is important, of all of the Starbucks I have been to over the years this is the most consistent when it comes to shot quality. Rarely do I ever get dead shots from this location, and several of the Baristas know when their machine isn't pulling good shots, and make sure that if it isn't, they don't serve those shots. All of that said... there are a couple (just a couple) of Baristas that could use a little additional training. One works earlier in the mornings and I try to go in most mornings when this partner is usually off the bar and doing other things. I don't complain, which is my fault (I hate confrontation of any kind), but every time my drink is made, and I see it being made wrong (you don't run a rinse shot into a customers cup and then give them 2 shots in a drink that calls for 3), I will generally leave there, dump it out, and head to the Starbucks on 1 to get a proper one. But, like I said usually this Batista associate off bar by the time I get in there, so out of hundreds of visits, I have only dumped out about a dozen drinks. Again, I am the one that has never called this to the attention of the Barista, and I stand by my earlier statement about the quality, and consistency of the beverages served by this store. I have been going to this Starbucks for over 6 months now and I have baristas I have seen on a near daily basis that have never allowed my shots to die and offered service that is always friendly and above the already high standards set by Starbucks. I would like to give a special shout out to some of those that blow my mind with there excellent quality, consistency, and attitudes, like Raul, Noah, Rachel, Kristie, Mike, Alyssa, Taylor, Enie (I probably spelled that one wrong), Ethan, and the Manager Michael.

Their new sandwiches are just ok. Nothing special at all and pricey for what you get. Niki got the tomato and mozzarella and didnt enjoy it much. I got the grilled cheese and it was ok.

The WORST frappe I've ever had!! Peppermint Mocha tasted like watered down pepto bismol... I've never wanted to scrape the taste of something off my tongue as much as I want to now!

It's overrated and overpriced coffee. I only came here with friends and otherwise would not have chosen this place. I just ordered a plain coffee with 2% milk and it was like pulling teeth to get the employee to understand my order. I'll never understand peoples' obsession with Starbucks. There is MUCH better coffee and MUCH more reasonable prices.
