Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. We love this place. They have some really outside the box pizzas here but even the weirdest sounding ones are surprisingly good! The lunch buffet offers a fresh salad (no iceberg here!) , a couple of different pasta options, and the pizzas are constantly changing. The staff here is awesome. Friendly, courteous and a huge asset to our community with their fundraising efforts.

Fun place to eat. Yummy pizza. Also had a buffet time. There is a place for kiddos to "make art" and there is artwork displayed throughout if u want to buy them.

I've been to PGG several times since their beginning days on Post Rd. After moving back to Melbourne I was looking forward to PGG. But, my first visit back tonight: disappointing. Unfortunately this 2 Star rating is mostly because of the abysmal service we received. Other than both our pizzas being a tad overcooked, they tasted fantastic. But man oh man, the service flat-out sucked! -we expressed concern about wanting a pizza that wasn't spicy and then he let us order a spicy pizza (my sister couldn't even eat one piece) -never got a single drink refill -never got even a followup visit after our food came -had to wait forever for the bill THEN wait more for a mistaken charge to be removed And, the icing on the cake was the crazy-stupid suede-covered booths. Worst booth material EVER! Once we sat down, we were stuck; couldn't slide or move at all. I'm hoping this was a fluke experience because I love the options and the food. We'll be back and I'll report again. :)

Its clean and consistent. I like the open feel of seeing the kitchen and the little play area they have for the kids. The pizzas are overpriced and they offer too many choices. I think it would be better to eliminate the wide array and focus on a few Really good dishes. As far as service its a Toss up tonight's waitress was so rude and rushed us out of the restaurant. Do not order the seafood, husband got sick after eating it. Also, Wednesday night kids eat free

Really good pizza, super friendly waitstaff, and cheap alcohol! It was happy hour so it was 2-for-1 wine (Wed night, May '09.) This was a weird but pleasant surprise... nowhere but nowhere in LA do you ever get served "BOGO wine!" I love it! And it's so cute the way the various pizzas are named after artists... hence the Pizza Gallery name. Cute! Huge portions of salad - got a big caesar to share before our pizza came. We got the white pizza sans the parmesan cream sauce - i think it would have been disgustingly, cloyingly rich so we passed. Added artichokes & spinach on the pizza though, and it was perfect. Our waitress even brought us a basket of those tasty garlic knots on the house. It's packed with high school kids though, that's why I took away 1 star. All in all good though and does seem perfect for families.

J'adore! They have great pizza! This is a good place for date night or family night. Ask for Joe, he is a delight! This is my go-to place for something I know will be delicious! 5/5 would recommend.

Food was OK but wait time was terrible for what we ordered and service could have been better. For some odd reason there was a delay in our order. After nearly 30 min of waiting we had asked for some complimentary garlic knots. Another 15 min or so later finally got food. I was never asked for a refill of my iced tea from the beginning. I'd do the lunch buffet but not dinner again.

I've eaten here several times before and the food has always been tasty and service always ehhhhh. However it was the service we received this past visit that made me want to YELP about it! It was last Thursday(June 11) I ate with my family on the patio around 430 and we were lucky to have a gentlemen named Joe as our server. He was so much fun and has such an easy going personality. I mean it when I say that he made our experience! After being in the food service industry for 11 years, customer service is something a person will bring you repeat customers regardless how the food tastes. In this case, great food and even better service prompted me to write this review! So when we sat down we had questions about some of the beers and though they did not have the craft beers we were hoping for, Joe was quick recommend other options that were spot on. He let us know about the drink specials, wine varieties and cocktails. The food was wonderful as always and Joe never left soiled or empty plate ware on the table (I can't tell you how much that is appreciated, I hate dirty plates in front of me while I'm trying to enjoy my dinner). He didn't just pick one plate up every time he came to the table, he would clear the whole table so that there was as little interruption as possible during our family get together. Actually, we enjoyed Joe so much that he could barely leave our table without one of the 5 of us striking up another conversation with him. Haha ...oh and for dinner we had some appetizers and mostly large salads; 2 orders of the Ahi and 2 orders of the caliente wings to start, my dad had a small pizza and Spinach salad, my mom had the chef salad, my sister had the caliente calzone, my boyfriend had the spinach salad and I had the Greek salad. We will definitely be back, sooner rather than later and we will certainly be requesting Joe! Thanks so much!

The positives.....the staff was nice. Let's discuss the food. I ordered the lunch buffet. The pasta was so overlooked, I couldn't eat it. The sauce on the pasta was so sugary it too was unedible. The pizza was worse than any chain I've ever gotten. I can not see any reason to ever return. Go elsewhere.

Positive: they had a gluten free menu (even though it was small). Buffet for my husband was cheap Negative: I ordered the tomato and mozzarella appetizer off of the gluten free menu. I'm pretty sure they used canned tomatoes and they sucked. The appetizer was mostly mozzarella cheese with four very small, peeled slices of tomoto. On top of that they gave a non-gluten free balsamic reduction dressing and the waitress didn't say anything until after I started eating it. Good thing gluten won't put me in the hospital! Overall, I would say this is a restaurant that is so worried about profit they don't care about quality (or putting you in the hospital if you have celiacs disease). I wouldn't recommend it

Great pizza, especially the Conneen (veggies on a whole wheat crust). Several good entrees, and I keep meaning to try more of them but I keep going back to that pizza. Yummy garlic knots and sauce, and salads too. Personable staff including hostesses and bartenders. A favorite standard - I'm here almost every week!

I've heard about this place since I used to leave in Melbourne, Fl so the other day while I was visiting for the holidays, my wife and I decided to take my mom and grandma for lunch. Well let's start by talking about the service hostess who are not very friendly and they seem to be bothered when I ask for the closest table to the entrance. My mother just had a major surgery and she can't really walk too much without help, grandma it is also a little bit sick so basically it is difficult for her to tremble around. Once we sat down we figured they offered a buffet that runs Monday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and its only 7.99 since I'am a big eater I decided to go for it as well the family. What is included? All the pizza, soup, salad and a few other thing you can eat. The pizza as you can see from my picture was very limited and basic. Some of them even disgusting for example on of their pizzas were a bunch of overcook pasta with a few slices of pepperoni and I couldn't even tell what else, basically the purpose was just making pizza with whatever they had leftovers or is lower cost to their inventory. Their soups both tasteless and cold. The beat part was the salad, probably cause was one of those pre made salads that come in a bag. As regard the waitress I barely saw her. I guess since we were having the buffet she tought we didn't need any help like picking up the plates that were already used or maybe getting some more water or something as simple like more napkins. The best part its that in you check they suggest the 18% or more for the tip. Anyways, I feel bad for taking mom and grandma to such a horrible place. I will make sure next time Im visiting try a new place on my own before wasting everybody's time. Please do yourself a favor and better get a pizza from a chain/fast food place. You have better chances to get better quality food that way.

Management....what happened? I'm trying to eat not listen to your employees complain about how they hate their customers and jobs. I've been coming here for years, what happened? LITERALLY took 43 mins to get our food, get it together! (Party of 2) Ohhhh look another employee complained in the 2 mins it took me to write this. God they really hate this place!

Came here for dinner with a friend. There is a huge fish tank up in front of the restaurant which I thought was neat. I ordered the spinach calzone. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't stuffed enough of the filling. The server was nice, but didn't seem genuine. I can sense these things. Overall, my experience was all right. Nothing to rave about, but nothing to really rant about.

So came for lunch, when seated by hostess we asked for a booth, but sat at a table, even though several booths were open. The Hostess said that she couldn't accomodate our request because the server we were given to does not have a booth.... Ummm... OK. Sat and looked at menu for 5-10 min before hostess came back over and asked if we saw our waiter yet...ummmm ... No. Went to get our waiter, Moel or Moet, When he finally came over, he apologized and said it was his first day.... Oh, Crap.... Had to ask him what type of beer they have on tap because no beverages on menu. Repeat , no drinks of any kind in menu. I went through the entire menu twice, even ignored all the annoying ads the second read through and still found no section with any drinks. No soft drinks, beer, water... Nothing. So anyway, asked the "new" waiter what beer on draught, and of course since it was his first day he has no clue. He actually has to leave, ask his manager, and come back with a list in his hand. I would laugh if i wasnt so annoyed.... Finally opted for shocktop . When beer arrved it helped ease my annoyance ... A bit. We ordered a large pizza, the Veneer, and a large salad to start. 20 min after we gave our food order, the newbie waiter comes over and says our salad was ready, he's just waiting for the pizza....ummmm. We tell him we want the salad before the pizza. Off he goes, returns with the salad and apologizes, sez he thought the salad was a meal for one and the pizza was a meal for the other. Believable until you remember how large that pizza is. Oh, and had to remind him to bring the free garlic knots that we get with a Yelp checkin. Overall atrocious service, but giving two stars because it was the guys first day, and the salad was fairly decent. In terms of the pizza... Meh, I've had better. Advice to management: train your new servers before letting them on the floor, and tell the hostesses to accomodate those requesting a booth, I'm sure trained servers and hostesses can figure out how to switch tables for customer services sake.

My son and his best friend ate a pizza here on sunday evening, 7 Jun 15, and both young men got violently ill within the hour, throwing up and feeling very nauseated. My son still feels very nauseated after he eats, so he has not eaten much at all - it is now tuesday evening. When I called the manager today, a woman called Erika came to the phone and was very nasty, saying things like, there is the stomach flu going around, using words like he allegedly contracted it here, I do not think he got it here, and I dont think it is food related at all since it is now already tuesday. What makes this $10.00 an hour an authority on food related illnesses? Very unprofessional and uncaring. Clearly she did not believe me and gave me a very nasty feeling I was trying to con the situation. I live in a $600k home, I dont need the money. I am considering calling the health department.

Sunday is not a good day to go if you are not doing the buffet. Over half if the menu they are not cooking in order to keep the buffet going. I ordered a Mexican calzone w/no hot peppers, it came with peppers and was partially burnt. But, the garlic knots were good.

Visited Pizza Gallery on a Friday night. It was busy buy we were able to get a table pretty quick. I was apprehensive about going here due to some of the Yelp reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. We had garlic knots and sauce as an appetizer, they were really good and better than expected. I had a large Greek salad. The quality was awesome compared to other restaurants. (Most restaurants really skimp on salads. Pizza Gallery does not.) Everyone else had a salad or a sandwich. They thought they were really good. I think the pizzas were on the expensive size and the waitress seemed overwhelmed. (-1 a star)

Pepperoni pizza and shrimp pizza with garlic knots and garlic wings are awesome. Randy was quick and an excellent server. Highly recommended

  • Christopher B.

Food is usually pretty good but the service policies and how they handle seating is awful. Catering to the lazy they let clean and ready tables sit idle three at a time on a busy Friday evening because "people who put their name on the list have 10 minutes to show back up after they are texted". So we were told it was a 35 minute wait and then sat there and watched how there was consistently multiple unused tables the entire time we waited. They shifted around table to table but with some simple coordination they could be seating those willing to wait on premises and some of the "can't be bothered to waits". Must be the new math.

We stumbled upon this pizza place just hoping to get a bite to hold us over. Were we surprised!! The pizzas and calzones were half price(on Mondays). So my husband ordered the spinach calzone and I got the portabella mushroom crab pizza--gluten free:). The calzone was probably one of the best my husband has ever had--everything was fresh, loaded with ricotta and their marinara sauce was delish! The gf pizza was amazing! If you are gluten free, try their mushroom cap pizza--amazing!! Outdoor dining was great near the water fountain.

By far the worst food I have ever eaten (well, it was not consumed). The pizza dough was not fully cooked, the sauce bland and the cheese synthetic. This place is simple terrible - they should be ashamed to call that Italian food! I wish I could leave no stars.

  • Karen H.

I recently visited Pizza gallery which I have eaten there before. The food is always good. The reason for the two stars was because of dirty silverware. I noticed food on mine and asked for another set, which the wait staff apologized and brought me a new set but that had food on it too :-/ I wanted so badly to go open all the wrapped silverware and see if they all had food and grease on them. This hadn't happened when I was there previously.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet this past weekend. The atmosphere is very dark. Pizza Hut pizza is tastier than what is offered here. This is closer to DiGiorno frozen pizza. I actually thought the buffalo chicken pasta was pretty tasty, but my wife felt that the chicken's taste and texture was more like pre-cooked grocery store chicken. The buffet table is awkwardly located and there are no labels explaining what each pizza is. Though our waitress was friendly and the outside bar area seems like it would be a cool place to hang out, the quality of the food is not good enough to bring us back.

  • Cheri M.

Yuck. The only reason it got two stars was the salad. The pizza was gross. Reminded me of school lunch pizza when I was a kid. The place reminds me of Chucky Cheese with a bar. Kids running around and bad food. Not good overall atmosphere. Stopped off I-95 on the way home. Won't be coming back.

Oh boy. What can you say?!? Bad service. It took them 15 minutes to take our drink order. The waiter did feel bad and comped us garlic knots. Then we realized that everyone was getting free garlic knots. Calamari appetizer was good and that's when the food stopped. We never got our pizza that we ordered. Server came back and asked us if we wanted dessert and we told him we never got our pizza. Bizarre to say the least. I'd pass this place up the 2nd time around.

This place has always been a favorite for my family and friends but my last experience was a little less than stellar. While the wait staff was amazing the kitchen staff was obviously not on their game. We ordered 2 small pizzas and it took over an hour for them to come out. The manager did take a small amount off of our bill, which was appreciated, however it was just astounding to me they could fumble our order like this. However, even with the food fumble, when we did get it, it was very tasty and the staff was able to try and accommodate the mistake. I would definitely go back. Thanks for reading and enjoy.

By far one of the most unique pizza menus I have ever seen, Pizza Gallery and Grill will not disappoint on the food or the drinks. I love their Tuesday take out deals and love that they deliver to World of Beer, which is nice since WOB doesn't offer food. The service isn't perfect, but I haven't had any bad experiences per se. (I introduced myself to the manager once and he seemed like a space cadet. Totally out of it. But again, no real service catastrophes.)

I go here regularly for business lunches and really enjoy the selection of menu items. The Yellowfin Tuna on the appetizer menu is delicious and if you are watching the carbs, they have a great crustless pizza. What continues to make it unique is the genuine smiles on the faces of the staff, the artistic feel of the decor, and what foodies love - unique flavor.

Pizza Gallery is in a good location and has a nice atmosphere, but each time I go here, I never end up liking what food I ordered. I've tried both pastas and pizzas, and neither have been that memorable.

We have gone to the Pizza Gallery and Grill about 5 times and the last three times were because friends of ours wanted to meet us there. We just don't get it. The food is nothing special and the wait staff is either far too rushed or they hover and make you feel want to leave. We have tried several of their pizzas and have better from Viera Pizza. I have had the Pesto Chicken Tower and it just was not something that I wanted to finish, share or take home. The last time we ate there, we were with a family and the mom had to send her daughter's meal back twice because the chicken was extremely undercooked. I wish I had something good to recommend about this place but after 5 tries they really gave me nothing to work with.

I really dig The Pizza Gallery. It's in a good location, located at The Avenue shopping area in Viera. It's nicely decorated with a huge salt water fish tank greeting you as you enter. There is also always interesting art pieces on display which are always changing. This is also a pretty big place with several dining options. There is the main dinning area, a nice pub/ bar area located in the rear, an outside seating area overlooking the courtyard and they also have a private party room available. The food is always very tasty. I've had various items from appetizers to their speciality pizzas and I've never had a bad experience. But I really appreciate the customer service. Mark, one of the servers who has served me on at least two occasions is very friendly and really, really attentive.

We have visited here several times, and will not be back. The first two times, food was alright, nothing special, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. I think the menu is overpriced for the quality. The service however, was SLOW. On a lunch visit with only a handful of other patrons, we were in here for about two hours. We decided to try it a third time, mostly because of a lack of other options. What a mistake. Once seated, we did not see our server for nearly 20 minutes-no greeting, no drinks, nothing. When he did arrive, there was no apology for the wait and he was in general rather short with us. My husband ordered a hamburger, medium-well, and when our food finally arrived it was rare. Only the outside of the burger was done at all, and the center of the burger was red and oozing pink juice. We sent it back, but they did not take my order back, leaving me to eat alone or let my food get cold. When the burger arrived, it was obviously the same burger put back on the grill and worse, it was on the same bun, with the raw meat juice and had the same old, cold fries. They did not even remake the mistaken order, just reheated it! It was disgusting and absolutely unappetizing. A manager stopped by and asked how we were doing, so we let him know everything. He did not apologize or seem at all concerned, just moved on to the next table. Then, they charged us full price, no apology or discount for the awful service and more awful food. Having a gimmicky menu does not a good restaurant make. This place needs to work on their service and basic kitchen skills. I cannot recommend it to anyone.

This restaurant is nice, with good food and great art, will definitely go back. Buffet nights (Mondays) are great, staff is great, location is great. Sunday brunch looks good. As good as it gets!

I really really wanted to love this place. Family comes here often and seems to enjoy it. It was just ok. You walk in and at first seems like a nice atmosphere, but it seems that they have an identity crisis. The decorations are strange. A nicely sized fish tank, kids toys, guns. Bizarre. The pizza was average. Just a step above something I could get from dominos or a boxed pizza. The Cesar salad was soggy. I think I saw sushi? Odd for a pizza joint. The service was very slow and somewhat inattentive. My family said it is normally better, so maybe they were just having an off night. I would be willing to try it again, but from first impressions it would not be one of those "wow" places that I would look forward to coming to each time I am in the area.

I've been going to Pizza Gallery for a few months now and have always enjoyed their gluten-free pizza. As someone with celiac disease it's hard to find places to eat. However, I went back last week only to find out that they have a new gluten-free menu. I tried the chicken parmesan and it was FANTASTIC!!! I've loved going for the pizza but I am thrilled that there are now even more options!!! Thanks Pizza Gallery!! It would be great if there were more options on the dessert menu....perhaps a flourless chocolate cake?? Or maybe they could make some of those garlic dough knots out of the gluten free pizza crust.

We have been going to this restaurant since it was on Wickham Rd. And continued when they moved to Viera. It was a regular stop for us, but the last 5 times we went, always around 5 pm on a Saturday night we asked for a booth because I have back and hip problems and that is the only seat comfortable for me. We have NOT been there for about 6 months because we are ALWAYS given a hard time to get a booth, despite several that are empty. Today we went very early at 4:30pm because I recently had surgery and needed a booth, I explained this to the airhead on the desk, she denied our request, tried to sit us in a half booth I was immediately uncomfortable and my husband saw a empty booth and said can we sit over there, she gave in while bitching about our request!!! Next, it was so warm in there the A/C was obviously not working properly. We asked for our favorite pizza on the menu, the Botticelli with teriyaki sauce, we were told "we are out of teriyaki"!!! We should have just walked out then, 3 strikes and you are out!!!!! We are from a long line of family members that own restaurants from casual to fancy, this is unacceptable business practice. If you want to have repeat customers in this age of social media you better treat your patrons better. Very disappointed.

Went here for dinner with my mom, sister, niece and nephew and we are all SUPER PICKY eaters! I am happy to say... this place is PHENOMENAL. There are like a BILLION different pizzas to choose from and can also build your own. I had the Cezanne pizza, which had parmesan sauce, chicken breast, mushrooms, and onions and it was AMAZING. My sister had the pasta and she said it was out of this world. My nephew's BBQ chicken pizza (The Rembrandt) was TO DIE FOR. My niece had a plain cheese pizza and my mom's veggie was delish also! It even had zucchini and broccoli on top! But the best part of the meal was the appetizers: BUFFALO WINGS & GARLIC KNOTS! The buffalo wings were crispy and probably the best I've ever tasted! The sauce had a bit of a kick, but nothing too obnoxious. They were JUST RIGHT. The garlic knots were super yummy, but the garlic parmesan cream sauce too it over the edge. This was an all around satisfying casual, yet affordable meal. Next time I'm in Palm Bay visiting the fam, they'll be seeing me! :)

Was ok food, we had the mussles and a pizza with half mushrooms and half meatball. The mussels were VERY overcooked but the sauce did have a good flavor. The pizza was terrible, which was a shock considering that's what they're known for. The pizza was 70% bread 25% sauce not even with good flavors. The service was terrible, our appetizer came out with our pizza and it took about 10 minutes to get drinks after we were sat. Would not come back.

Ate lunch there today - had the buffet. It was pretty good. 5 choices of pizza, salad and pasta. It gave me a sampling of what they have on the menu, which was nice. I'd go back again.

This place is awesome! I love this place!! The food, service, and decor is incredible!!! First of all, the decor is really cool, really interesting art (that changes regularly) instantly give it a real cool vibe. It is a great place for a date, because it's not fancy or pretentious, but very lively and fun. I like to call it casual-sophisticated. Now the food is top notch! I usually order the traditional spaghetti and meatballs, next to my mom's, it's the best I've ever had! The meatballs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor and served in a nice bowl of spaghetti with the best marinara sauce ever! Lots of good quality tomatoes, garlic, onions, perfectly seasoned, lots of flavor!! I also love their salads, the best Italian dressing I have ever tasted! Can you tell I love the food here?! Lol!!! I also absolutely love their classic reuben sandwich, a good amount (but not too much) of good, thinly sliced corned beef with good sauerkraut, homemade thousand island dressing, just the right amount of Swiss, on good quality marbled rye bread, delicious! I have tried their pizzas as well, stellar! My favorite is the eggplant parmesan on whole wheat crust and the eggplant is perfectly cooked, and I add grilled chicken, black olives, spinach, and zucchini, off the chain! They also have the absolute best spinach and artichoke dip appetizer I've ever tasted! They serve it with these tasty flatbreads and the dip is nice and chunky with lots of artichokes, spinach, good parmesan, garlic, and full of texture and flavor. This place is SO good, you absolutely have to give it a try! You will be hooked!! Great ambiance, great food, great service, perfection!

I guess when it comes to pizza I'm more impressed by substance than novelty. Don't get me wrong I LOVE options. It's fun to be able to make a pizza just the way you want it. I love being able to put fresh mozzarella on a pizza. Whole wheat crust and black beans instead of sauce are yummy options as well. I guess I had all my favorite ingredients but the crust was bland. The pizza was fine, just less than expected. I guess I come from a different pizza world where pizza is cheap, filling and still very tasty. My tiny pizza was 10 bucks and I still was kinda hungry after wards. I didn't eat all day and pizza is supposed to hit the spot, and at 10 bucks it should feed 3 easy at least. The pizza took a long time to come out. It was very busy, but if you can seat that many people, you better have the staff to pull off another thing that pizza should be; fast. Really it was worth the wait and high price though. My little brother had a great time ordering the strangest pizza I've ever seen. He had: Whole Wheat, Calient Wing Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Italian Rope Sausage, Sauerkraut, CRAB, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Bermuda Onion. Oh yeah he ate it fast. I guess he's easy to please. While my memories of my unmemorable pizza will fade, the memories of his outrageous pizza will keep me smiling for a long time.

The best thing about Pizza Gallery is the make-your-own pizza option. They have choose your own crust, sauce, cheese and topping options, and their options are never-ending. I had the traditional (white) crust, pesto sauce, gorgonzola cheese, mushroom/spinach/garlic/kalmata olive toppings. It was perfect. To give an example of other choices of toppings; scallops, crab, jalapeno peppers, provolone cheese, spicy tomato pesto, and even mashed potatoes! And then you get dessert. The Monet pie was outstanding. Traditional crust, cinnamon custard with strawberry and melted chocolate. Forget your diet and try this dessert. However, the service was terrible. It took nearly 3 hours from the point we sat down until paying the bill. Three. Hours. Our server was very friendly but neglected us shortly after taking our order. Side note: Sit inside!!! The chairs on the patio are the most uncomfortable metal chairs you will ever sit in. Go for the food, but expect to stay for awhile. That is if you have money leftover from shopping next door. :)

Got accused by wait staff and manager we did not foot our $24 dinner bill of two okay tasting personal pizzas and an order of stale garlic knots. Will NEVER return. It was embarrassing and the manager offered an insincere apology stating that he will review his security camera.

The best thing about this place is the endless combinations for pizza. A choice to fit every dietary need and want. The salads are pretty great and the garlic knots too. I like the atmosphere and the changing art on the walls. Service can be hit or miss but it's never been terrible. They have a small kids' play area which is nice.

Had a very nice meal with good service and good food. Garlic knots were yummy, shared a salad and a pizza with my wife and we took half the pizza home. Lots of food. Only issue was the host who sat us in a weird table when the place was half empty. We asked to be moved and really enjoyed the rest of the evening.

Love this place, had the mediterranean pizza and it was really good. My only complaint was the garlic knots were a bit undercooked and underseasoned. The service was great though and 2 for 1 margaritas aren't bad either!

Hands down the best restaurant in the area. We ordered the crab cake pizza and it was TO DIE FOR... OMG un believeable!!!! Also their garlic knots are off the hook!!! Dinner for 2 including drinks was about $40. I would kill for this place in Texas!!

We had been going to PGG regularly since we moved to the area in July 2009. We had many enjoyable experiences until a recent Friday night. It was an entirely disappointing experience for many reasons. My wife and I and my two girls (ages 7 and 5) were seated outside at about 6:45pm. - The service was very slow. We left PGG at about 8:30pm. There was nothing unusual about our order--large pizza, children's spaghetti, garlic knots, no dessert. The server seemed busy and was trying but was out of sight for long periods of time, so we couldn't even try to get her attention when we needed her. - The young man serving us our pizza dropped it in one of our chairs (thankfully nobody was in it). He had set it on the edge of our table precariously and did nothing when we expressed concern to him. After the dump he didn't apologize. He only said, "This is not my night." The manager came along and said that another pizza would be out in about 8 minutes. He did not apologize, either, and showed minimal concern. - When we finally got our check there was no consideration for the incident. We asked the server to have the manager come talk to us. He offered a half-hearted apology and said he would take 10% off the bill. (A $32 bill). - When we got the revised check, only about 5% was taken off--about $1.50!! I chose not to pursue the matter any further with the manager since he obviously wasn't that concerned. I decided to contact the owner.... - We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and we told our server this at the beginning of the night. We never heard anything since then, even though we saw other "celebrations" for customers taking place elsewhere in the restaurant. I could stop there and I think you would agree that this would be an awful night for anyone. "But wait! There's more!" Lately we have been bringing our dog to dine with us outside at PGG like we have seen many others do. We have done this 6-8 times and never had any troubles--our dog is very well behaved and he is very popular with the other customers. Tonight when the manager came to our table--after we complained about the service--he told us that there had been several complaints from customers about our dog shedding. He asked us not to return with the dog. We were shocked. For one, nearly every party seated near us came over to pet and interact with our dog. I doubt they were the ones complaining. PGG allows smoking outside, too. I wonder when they get complaints do they ask smokers to not smoke again when they come back? Decide on a policy and *stick to it*. Further, the manager asked us not to bring the dog back in front of my girls. It was my 7-year-old's choice to come to PGG for her birthday. This made her feel bad and brought her to tears. I would have expected more tact from a manager. After we got home, I sent a polite email to the owner--his address is on their website--bringing all of these issues to his attention. That was over 10 days ago. No response. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

Ask for the Gluten-free Menu! Gluten-free pizza crust paired with fresh veggies makes for a great night out. Lots of options to cater your pizza, including fresh pesto or olive oil in lieu of traditional marinara. Avoid the lunch buffet and sugary drink menu if you're watching your calories though.

I'm sure this place is great at happy hour, but we were a little disappointed with brunch. Food took way too long to come out. Brunch was mediocre. I do have to say kids' Mac and Cheese pizza was excellent;)

Best place in Melbourne, hands down! Huge selection, fresh ingredients, service is always fantastic, bar area is wonderful -- especially on a nice night, as you can eat and/or drink outside -- and they have great drink specials. This place caters to both the "normal" pizza folk (pepperoni, cheese) and those who are a little more adventurous (rueben pizza, anyone?). There is a list of about 75+ ingredients for those who want to make their own pizza, plus they have several entrees for those who aren't interested in pizza (although why you'd go to a pizza place and not order pizza...). We bring all our guests here religiously and everyone is always pleased, always leaves full, and always wants to return!

i don't know how the others enjoyed so much?!? i have gone before for happy hour - which is bogo wine - which was nice, but the service then was quite unattentive due to the busy time. tried again for sunday brunch and was very dissapointed in price, service and food quality. Server was busy with too many tables to be concerned to remember any specifications (where were not much since we were self-serving at the brunch bar) - forgot drinks, didn't come back to check on, left empty dishes when passing repeated times. the "free" bloody marys" that came with brunch were SO terrible, after mentioning it to server, she was like "oh" and walked away with them. obviously, we were not the first ones to complain about them....i guess free means crappy drink. Food was cold and seemed to be sitting too long, even under heat lamps. Pizzas tasted like they were made with cheap ingredients. pastas had other food items spilled and mixed in and never cleaned up during our duration visiting. Garlic knots were cold and hard. Salad seemed like a mixed bag of lettuce with added sliced onions. For the price we paid for 4 brunches - i would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone

I enjoy the atmosphere and creatively written menu at this restaurant. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The buffet offers a variety of choices at a reasonable price. This is a fun place for a first date or a great place to bring your family; it's very versatile. Sometimes I feel like the food could come out hotter. Otherwise it's a really cool restaurant and I enjoy eating there. I do recommend it.

Best service and food! We love Madison and Erica they are the best bartenders around. Caliente chicken wings and the Reuben are the bomb!!

Food remains ok, but staff is getting worse and front door hostess is anything but friendly...saw a single mom with stroller and toddler struggling with door and she just watched two feet away without helping... And scowling. No longer inclined to return

Been coming to this restaurant since the mid 90's when it was off Wickham road and the quality has only improved. Great food, great service and the atmosphere is nice too. A gem of a restaurant in Brevard.

(-1 a star)

Went here with a group. The service was great. There was a pizza buffet. They seemed to have a bit of trouble keeping up with demand but not too big of a deal since we all managed to stuff ourselves silly anyway.

  • Natalie H.

I'm sure this place is great at happy hour, but we were a little disappointed with brunch. Food took way too long to come out. Brunch was mediocre. I do have to say kids' Mac and Cheese pizza was excellent;)

Hands down the best restaurant in the area. We ordered the crab cake pizza and it was TO DIE FOR... OMG un believeable!!!! Also their garlic knots are off the hook!!! Dinner for 2 including drinks was about $40. I would kill for this place in Texas!!

Really good food here, and the atmosphere is nice, if a little austere... Great for eating outside in the evenings, really good location for just wandering about and doing stuff. Wife and I have been here several times, and never been disappointed!

Ask for the Gluten-free Menu! Gluten-free pizza crust paired with fresh veggies makes for a great night out. Lots of options to cater your pizza, including fresh pesto or olive oil in lieu of traditional marinara. Avoid the lunch buffet and sugary drink menu if you're watching your calories though.

i don't know how the others enjoyed so much?!? i have gone before for happy hour - which is bogo wine - which was nice, but the service then was quite unattentive due to the busy time. tried again for sunday brunch and was very dissapointed in price, service and food quality.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
