Fast and tasty Pitas! The management does a good job catering to the needs of the locals!

I really wanted to like this place as an alternative to the boring sub/sandwich routine, but I was let down by the quality of the chicken used in the chicken souvlaki. The pita bread tasted good and the other ingredients tasted nice and fresh, but the chicken was rubbery, greasy and overly processed. I'd gladly pay to have real meat. I don't know how it's possible, but the chicken was scarier than Subway. Perhaps I just got a bad batch of chicken, but I doubt it. If they start using higher quality meat, I'll go back. This place has potential. Update: I talked to the corporate office and they told me that they use chicken thigh meat in the soulvaki, so that's why it's extra fatty. Of course on the menu it just says "chicken" so there's no way of knowing this. Even for thigh meat, it's still abnormally fatty. You can order the chicken breast pita and build it like a souvlaki, but you lose the "Greek seasoned" chicken.

I love this place, fresh ingredients and quick courteous service. I'm not sure why everyone complains about the nit picky things, I mean come on, you know what your getting just by looking at the prices. If you want a 5 star meal go to a sit down place.

If you like beer, wine and pasta, this is not the place! This is a sandwich shop that makes fresh sandwiches while you are shopping, stop here for a food break, you will love the freshly prepared pita bread with meats and veggies of your choice.

Normally pita pit is my absolute favorite restaurant...but my experiences at this one have been consistently bad. The service is terrible, the girls who work there are disrespectful and careless. This girl tried to serve me a ripped pita (which she ripped) and when I asked her to please redo it she rolled her eyes. It wasn't like the hole was small,I can maneuver a messy pita--but the ingredients were just pouring out all over the prep area. They also don't ever flip over my chicken so it comes out tasting weird and rubbery. They are very stingy with their ingredients. I really wanna like this place but the service is too horrible. It could be sooooo much better. PS: Please get rid of the girl with the poem tattooed on the back of her leg she's the worst!!! She has served me all 3 times I've been there!!!

Like Robert B. I also got the chicken souvlaki and it was very disappointing. The chicken was more like strips of grizzle and fat than chicken, this was un-amazing. I expected a little more from a $7 pita. I wanted to like Pita Pit and was excited about a new choice in Viera, too bad it was an Epic Fail.

most of the Pita Pits I have been too have produced Pitas that are on par with other sub style shops i.e. Subway, but this one is awful. It's not the food that makes it awful it's the customer service. When I last went to this particular store my order was taken and my precooked, sliced chicken was left to sit on the griddle while the person running the "grill" stepped away to talk a solicitor that had just walked in. My food sat on the grill for 5 minutes and looked as if it was going to burn. Then when asked what I would like in my pita the portions of lettuce tomato and condiments were treated like they were made of gold and when i asked if I could have more of something they were only answered with exasperated sighs and rolled eyes. You would think that at an establishment usually akin to the hot topic of sub places (usually the people working them are tattooed and more alternative to the "normal" fast food market) service would be bad. But, i have never had a problem with any employee at any other pita pit anywhere but this one. i only bring this up because this pita pit has tried to break the mold with early 90's conservative pop playing on the radio and unpierced, tattooless employees the service was and is always awful every time I go. i would recommend any other pita pit to anyone but this one the service stinks and the pitas aren't as good as you could get at a different location.
