I second the comment about the egg drop soup! AMAZING! The sweet and sour sauce was a little more sour than I like but overall this place was tasty. A little more expensive than I would have liked. 8 $ for a bowl of soup and one entree. Service was curious and quick. I will be going back!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! ...or the stomach ache. I got the General Tso Combo Platter. Generally a safe bet and staple among the Chinese food circuit. Nope. Food was chronically bland. I generally don't expect the meat to be the best but I expect to get some meat. If you want fried batter chucks in sauce that is lacking and not tangy/ spicy like all general Tso's this is your place. Egg roll had no crunch and was mushy. Rice is nothing but white rice in soy sauce. Why I get fried rice I expect son kind of texture and some veg or meat add-ins. Not a single lick in it. Not even egg. My expecting weren't high but I at least wanted to et some okay fast food to fill my stomach. Should have gone to BK. they got a star for being quick to an extent.

We have lived in Melbourne for over 8 years and have ordered from the Asian Wok for about the same time. Their food is the most consistent in flavor you can get. We love the Egg-Drop Won ton combination soup and their BBQ Spare ribs. Big, beefy and cooked to perfection. This location specializes in takeout orders but has 6 tables for a quick bite. We have never had a bad dish here and our takeout order is always perfect. If you like Chinese food you will love the Asian Wok. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed.

This is the ONLY take out food that we get in Melbourne, FL. The Asian Wok has always provided us with well prepared Chinese food. We have been ordering from them about once a month, over the past 4 years and they have never ever messed op our order. My spouse usually calls them on the way home from the office and once he ordered something that I have never ordered and the woman on the phone mentioned that I never get that dish and she was right. We usually order the Chicken and Broccoli with brown sauce and it is consistently perfect. I love their Wonton Soup and it us always clear and hot and very satisfying. We have never been disappointed and we recommend this take out to everyone.

This place has severely went downhill. It is a hole in the wall Chinese place but those are supposed to be good every once in a while, right?! I went to order some general tso's chicken tonight and when I got home I could tell it was a reheated order served with cold rice and the grossest thing is that the disposable silverware had been reused!!!! You could tell just by looking at it that it had been previously used. I would highly not recommend this place

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
