The food was great! The wait service was fantastic and after my breakfast date fell out the people around were so sweet! I will definitely be back. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want in a country restaurant. Food arrived quickly and tastes amazing. Just like home cooking but someone else does the dishes.

Not very friendly or attentive. Just ordered 2 eggs on a roll with sausage. It took almost twenty minutes even tho the place was empty. When it finally did come out, there was cheese on it. I did not ask for cheese because I can't eat it. They redid it but really? Twenty minutes for an egg sandwich is ridiculous. It wasn't even very good.

Went at 2:51pm. They close at 3pm. A guy came out from the back and said the kitchen was already closed. I have been a server before (3 years) and know no one likes that last hour/min table...but it's your job. Don't say you are open till three if you start breaking down the kitchen at 2pm. This was going to be our second visit. Not going back now.

Delicious! We are new to the area and have started checking out breakfast spots. So far this place has the best pancakes. I had the skillet special and my wife had the eggs, sausage, and grits. So much food! We will definitely be back, right after we wake from our food coma. Oh yeah, the service is great, everyone is so friendly, and the price is right!

This is a 6 star place easily. :) Discovered it only recently and have been maybe 4 times. Always made to feel at home and the food is great. you can just FEEL these are good people working there. Verification received when lost my wallet recently, and the Melbourne PD called me to say Apollo had turned it in. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

It's a diner. Nothing fancy, but good food with a menu and prices that should please anyone. Check the specials.

We went here on a whim and Im glad we did. The atmosphere was definitely a diner type experience. The server was very nice. We had Hummus and the pita bread was delicious. I also had a burger and it was a typical diner burger which I enjoyed. We had home made peanut butter pie as well and it was very memorable. I will go back for that pie! It was affordable and had a good selection on the menu. Definitely will stop in again sometime.

I've eaten at Apollo for years and am just now getting around to reviewing it. Their lunch specials are good. Service is good. Their burgers are great! No frills. Reasonable prices. Mikey is usually my server and does a great job. Gets busy at lunchtime.

Do not pass up on Apollo's! I have yet to have something that wasn't to my liking here! My favorites are eggs benedict for breakfast and a gyro/burger/greek salad for lunch. The staff is very friendly and helpful too (especially when my grandma is very picky and asks a million questions). Love it here!

The Apollo Diner follows the spirit of most diners in keeping things simple. Whether it was the menu or the daily specials, I understood everything. The service is great. The server check on you on a regular basis, ensuring your drink is topped off or if you have any questions. I tend to go into diners with low expectations. But I'll admit, their selection is pretty broad, and that was only what was on the menu. Overall I'd recommend eating here, but I found the fries to be over fried, so I'd avoid those on my next visit.

I had a business meeting at the Apollo Diner this week. Service was all over the place. I think there were only two folks working the entire room. Coffee was weak, although the refills were fairly speedy. I ordered an eggs benedict flo with hashbrowns. The spinach was obviously the frozen kind, and the whole thing was swimming in hollandaise sauce. The hashbrowns were crispy, but one of the few redeeming qualities of the dining experience. Prices are cheap, but the axiom of "you get what you pay for" holds true. TLDR: Not sure why everyone is over the moon on this below average greasy spoon.

This is one of the more difficult reviews I've had to write. I've been here once for breakfast and once for lunch. I got an omelet for breakfast and a turkey club for lunch. Both meals were reasonably priced and pretty good. Why the three stars then? Well, though it's a typical diner atmosphere the "decor" isn't much of anything. The tables and seats weren't disgustingly dirty or anything but they weren't cleaned recently. But the main reason I'm giving three stars is the attitude. Generally, I don't mind not being given smiles at every turn but it seems like just your presence in the establishment annoys the employees. In my two visits I actually did not see one employee smile, whether at my table or any other table. There's a difference between a restaurant that doesn't have the over-friendly servers found at a chain and a restaurant whose employees seem put off by your very existence. I doubt I'll be back.

This was a GREAT spot! My parents and I were visiting from Michigan because my brother was performing at the Runaway Country Music Festival. We came in for a late dinner on Friday night and the food and service were excellent. The prices were also very reasonable. Tammy was our server, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. I had a veggie pita, my mom had a Greek salad, and my dad had shepherds pie. Tammy was so nice-- she gave us the Runaway Country advertisement/banner that was hanging in the restaurant window. My mom was thrilled. We were so pleased with our dinner experience that we returned for breakfast on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Saturday and Sunday were busy, but the staff remained friendly and the food came just as fast. Julie was our server on Saturday, and she was lovely. I highly recommend this diner for anyone for any meal! Enjoy!

Extremely quick service, 1/2 hour lunch possible. Business people eat here for lunch. Tuesday is pot roast! Fantastic Humus and pita bread. Pay on your way out.

I go to Apollo on somewhat of a regular basis for breakfast. It is great service, friendly people, and the food is filling! It's not too expensive either. If you're looking for a great place to take the family, this is definitely the place!

Outstanding food prepared by the owner and chef. Greek specialties are wonderful with their take on Greek salad dressing being particularly wonderful. The perfect place for a good, fast lunch with surprisingly excellent food.

What a gem! Great food, service, and friendly people. It's one of those neighborhood places with great down home family cooking. And great prices. Wonderful.

Walked over from the Hilton , because I wanted someting different. I had the Grecian Omlette, which was good, but what's with the burned out waitstaff,,, kicking the swinging doors open from the kitchen, seemingly exhasperated and not wanting to be there. Maybe they were just short that day, the loud jerk on the bluetooth headset at the next table was also pretty annoying, but that isn't their fault. I hope the coffee splatters on the side of the cup were from filling mine and delivering and not just left over from the last customer. Had one coffee refill after 30 minutes wait,,, otherwise they would have gotten an even smaller tip..(if that's possible)

Today was my birthday, and with the new baby, I wasn't expecting to get too much celebrating in, but I was really looking forward to a relaxing day at home with the wife and kiddo. When I woke up, my wife really surprised me by running out to grab us breakfast. She came home with food from Apollo. While we hadn't been in a little while, I quickly remembered my torrid love affair with their Eggs Benedict. Even packaged for take-out, the eggs barely suffered in their to-go container, arriving to my plate (a full 10 minutes away) still runny. Perhaps it is just the chef in me, but there is something a little sensual about watching the deep gold yolk running over and into the pale yellow ocean of the (obviously) homemade Hollandaise sauce. A little over the top? Perhaps, but they really are that good. The home fries were, well home fries, tasty, and crisp in all the right places. It being my b-day, the wife also ordered me a side of blueberry pancakes, my other Apollo fave. To be honest, I was way too full to put away more than a couple bites, but they were fluffy and delicious as usual. We have been to Apollo to eat-in several times as well. The food is always super fast, regardless of how busy they are and coffee cups are always well tended. We've always been very well taken care of, happy with the service, and really happy with the food. On one occasion, we stopped-in late morning-early afternoon not realizing that it was a weekday and we'd be too late for breakfast. We decided to stay and try the lunch. While okay, It was not on par with their breakfast, and needless to say, we have not shown up too late for breakfast since.

Gyro Omlet, hash browns and biscuits for @$6. Great service, nice food, comfortable setting and there always seems to be a good crowd. There is a large counter for those who wander in alone. Basic breakfasts start at around $3.

It all began early morning Sunday March-11th 2012. It was a warm and humid morning. As the four of us awoke to begin our daily activities we could feel the suns heat even through the intermittent showers. While at Daytona raceway and sitting on a brand new Kawasaki 250, the same as what Ryan Villopoto rides, our stomachs began to growl with hunger. We drove for an hour through downpours looking for a place to eat. We ate at apollo's diner. It was good.

I absolutely love this place! I've only been for breakfast but if their lunch/dinner is anything like their breakfast I'd certainly enjoy that too. I love their grecian omelette. You can't beat the amount of food you get for the price, and the service is usually very good. It's a real locals type place so they remember you. Highly recommend!

Nice selection of American and Greek food. Breakfast is very good, especially the omelettes! The wait staff are friendly and efficient and prices are very reasonable. The owner hustles his bum off to help out when it gets too busy.
