This is our 5th stay here. As always, it's the attention to every little details that sets them apart. Yes they have beach chairs and umbrellas for the guests to use. Yes their happy hour offers you some small fare and cocktails with an opportunity to meet other guests. Breakfast in your room? Check! Heated pool and beautiful rooms and property? Of course! Need to recharge your Tesla? No problem there is a charging station in the guest parking. Friendly staff who know what you like and are ready to serve. Including a home baked cake for my wife on her birthday. If you want to feel at home? Stay home. If you want to feel like royalty, stay at Port D'Hiver.

Can I just say that this place was absolutely amazing. I found this bed and breakfast by searching on Google in a desperate attempt at finding some type of honeymoon for my husband and I. He is in the military and we had a short amount of time after the wedding until he had to report back to Texas. Their honeymoon special for the Mangrove suite was affordable and completely worth it! I booked over the phone and the desk clerk who answered was pleasant and helpful. From the moment we arrived I knew I would love staying here. The room and grounds were gorgeous. Very peaceful. Room service was great, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was not your typical continental hotel breakfast. It was gourmet and they had different options for each day you were there. I hope that I will have a chance to stay here again. It was wonderful!

This was our first B&B stay, the next one we stay at is going to have a hard time competing with the Port d'Hiver. Must experience this B&B

We found this listing via a Google search as we were driving south from Orlando airport and could not have been happier. The location is great - easy to find and directly across from a beautiful beach, across the street from a fantastic supermarket (wine, gourmet and prepared foods) and restaurants in short walking distance. Then there's the accommodations - gorgeous, luxurious, comfortable room - and the saltwater jacuzzi - gorgeous lights, free towels and a waterfall - and free snacks and beverages. Floating in the pool watching the stars and moon was way romantic, relaxing and a highlight of our stay. And lastly, breakfast: they accommodated my celiac disease (gluten-free) with an elegant meal way beyond my expectations. I wish these folks the best and only wish I lived closer so I could visit again soon.

I want to live here. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were perfect, and the breakfast was wonderful. If you have a special request just let them know a day ahead of time and they will accommodate. The location was wonderful, across the street from a very nice beach and just 20 mins from Cocoa Beach. And the cookies...oh the cookies...available 24/7 in the main house. They also have a wine and beer reception each afternoon complete with appetizers, which were awesome! The staff was super nice and very helpful. I will be back!

Our third visit, this B & B is out of this world. I can't even begin to describe the incredible breakfast and the staff's attention to detail is outstanding. Whether you are staying for one night or seven, you truly feel pampered. Can't wait for our next visit!

This is the best B&B I've stayed in! I stayed at Port d'Hiver during President's Day weekend, 2013! My experience with them began before I even arrived. I booked and paid for my room (the Yellow Room) 4 months in advance. I let them know that I was planning a surprise for my husband's birthday and that 4 other couples would be joining us for the weekend. We also had food restrictions, so we asked for a meat-alternative to bacon/sausage. As the time neared, I called to add an in-room massage for my husband(I ended up having to cancel it later). They were very accomodating and contacted me by phone and email to confirm. They also confirmed my dinner reservations for me! The week before we were to arrive, they emailed and offered a complimentary room upgrade to their Carriage House Suite! They thought it would add to the surprise for my husband and thought it would allow for more space for his massage! Wow!!!! Of course, I accepted! When we arrived(there was ample parking, unlike many B&Bs), we checked in and were given a tour of the grounds, while our luggage was taken to our suite. The house/grounds were beautiful! Everything was so cozy, intimate, and private, even though it's located on the corner of a somewhat busy street. They were still able to create privacy by putting up bamboo-like walls around the establishment. Our suite was gorgeous, spacious, and well-appointed! It included a king-sized bed(so comfy), living room area, flat screen TV, huge bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi tub! They paid such attention to detail that to greet us, there was a note welcoming us, on the bed. They even included an umbrella in the closet, along with bath robes! They offer complimentary room service for breakfast, so we took advantage of that the first morning(so did the other couples who joined us). Again, the attention to detail was well noted! They didn't just bring you breakfast on a tray, they brought a table cloth and spread it out in the living room, setting it up with salt/pepper shakers and silverware, wrapped in napkins, with napkin holders! They also remembered our food restrictions and served us turkey sausage with our meal, instead of bacon/sausage. Remember, this is a B&B, not a hotel, but they managed to combine the best of both worlds under one roof! This is my 6th B&B and I've never had the choice of having room service, and complimentary at that! Even the fact that they had bellman service when we arrived, is unique! The B&Bs I've stayed in, usually don't have anyone to help you with your bags-You are pretty much on your own for everything. The next day, we decided to go to Treetop Trek and do some zip lining for the first time! One couple did not go and decided to surprise us all with a late lunch in her room when we returned. The B&B staff helped by assisting them with the presentation. Again, the attention to detail was top of the line! They included tablecloths, and trays for the food, ice buckets for the wine-They turned their room into a mini restaurant buffet! They also include a turn down service in the evenings, so our room was always nice and tidy! They include a nice mini dessert on your bed wrapped in tulle! One night we had tasty brownies!!! Yummy! Again-Turn down service in a B&B???? Loved it!!!!! Our last morning there, all 10 of us ate together. I reminded them that we would eat in the main dining room and was told that our table was already ready! When we went downstairs, we had a separate table that was set so beautifully!!! The breakfasts were plentiful, filling and delicious! We had broccoli quiche, spinach frittata, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, homemade blueberry muffin, homemade caramel french toast, potato pancakes, hashbrown casserole, homemade zuchinni bread, fruit, orange juice, hot chocolate...My mouth is watering as I reminisce!!!! My compliments to the chef!!! My compliments to the owner, Linda, and her hard working staff(especially Jen, who worked all weekend) for making our stay so memorable!!!! I highly recommend this B&B if you are ever in the Melbourne/Space Coast, FL area!!!!

What a wonderful place. I rarely give 5 stars on yelp, but this is one of those times. We actually went here for the 1st time last year. Staying in Ella Belle's room in the main house. So nice, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever been in. It's a very small room but just done so nicely. It opens to a wrap around deck which faces the ocean. The biggest drawback to this room is that it's near a curve in the road. So what happens is cars slow down on the curve, but then speed up on the straightaway. So for those cars/trucks that sound like outboard motors, you constantly here this. Not exactly relaxing. That's why we opted to stay in the North Cabana near the hot pool / large hot tub (?), this time in the Sunrise room. Sunrise room is much bigger, just as nicely done, has a small deck overlooking ocean...but it's not on that curve so we didn't get that speed ahead noise. Awesome bed again (very high up, and perhaps a tad not as comfortable as Ella Belle's), but beautiful. The food is awesome. Morning: Each morning you get coffee, juices, and an amazing breakfast. Like savory french toast and some type of eggs. Just friggin awesome, and so filling. In fact, every time we eat here we don't' get hungry til late afternoon.....which is good b/c.... Afternoon: Cocktail hour. Serving light appetizers and free wine and beer. Skip the wine (not so good), but bottled beers are great. Fills you up enough so you can have a late dinner. Snacks: They have a snack room filled with water, soda, and snacks (sunchips, granola bars). You can even take one of their coolers, load up, and head to the beach. Nice touch. Cookies: You just have to try them. Needless to say the diet was not enacted here. After, perhaps... Amenities: Beach across form street Large 'hot' pool / hot tub. Was really cold out so this was so nice to be in. It was right outside the Sunrise room. Very romantic setting. Beach chairs: Grab some from the closet and go Bikes: Yes they have them, but see below. Three issues * Sunrise Bathtub handle gave us a lot of trouble. Came off at one point. * Blinds..one of the blinds didn't close all the way, letting light in in the morning. I really didn't want to have a wake up time. * Bikes. We were at breakfast one morning and there was a family of 4 eating as well. They indicated they wanted to go bike riding, but also wanted to go to the beach FIRST. The inn keeper gave them the forms to fill out and said would be ready. Well my wife and I had planned to go for a bike ride right after breakfast, so after the family went to the beach, I inquired. She gave me the forms and my wife and I proceeded to change into shorts, etc. to get ready for the bike ride. When we came down, we opened the fence, and what did we see...a family of four taking the bikes. WTF. I was not happy to say the least. IMO, you can't reserve the bikes on all day basis. Go to the beach, then come back and see if available. If they are, then by all means...they are yours. But to be told to go ahead and take them, only to find the family come back b/c they didn't like the beach, and then take the bikes...I thought this was very uncool. Are these two issues enough to reduce a star....no. Did the B&B do anything / say anything (and yes they knew, they saw it 'go down')? No. Should they have?Yes. But still not enough to reduce my overall opinion of the Port B&B. Go here!!!
