Our food was excellent, and the server was very good, but truthfully, if you are an upscale restaurant, you might want to make sure the server speaks fluent English. Again, she as very nice, but you could tell she didn't understand what we were requesting without drawing a diagram almost. Other than that, everything was excellent. The Brussel sprouts, mushrooms, the green beans, the Sea bass, the Salmon, AND the red zin!! Everything was great.

After several visits since my initial, not so good experience, it certainly seems marco prime has got things figured out. The staple of all marco restaurants that make it is a good, outdoor bar area. Of which this place exceeds. Plenty of good happy hour food/drinx at reasonable prices. The servers have all been here for years while doing a great job. You really can't beat the ambiance and selection of happy hour choices. Once off the happy hour menu, options are quite pricey. In particular is my favorite, their crab cakes. Exceptionally good but at $14 for a single crab cake, ur better off getting 3 orders of the happy hour shrimp; which are great and huge portions. Perhaps a couple of crab cakes would seem more reasonable at this price but oh well. Overall a great outdoor area with good ambiance, service and happy hour choices. Tough to beat for the area.

Occupying the space that the former Konrad's used to be at, Marco Prime carries on the torch of fine steak and seafood dining, and is undoubtedly among the best food you will find on the island. Their selection of steaks and fish, which you can choose either a la carte or as a fixed "side + vegetable" plate (though the a la carte pricing makes little sense), is sufficiently diverse. I ordered the Wagyu Sirloin Steak, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Portion sizes are very generous; I could only finish about 3/4s of my food. The best sides were the mac & cheese and the mashed potatoes. The mac & cheese uses smoked gruyere cheese, and the mashed potatoes has a great garlic aftertaste. The best dessert is the chocolate soufflé. It takes 20-30 minutes to prepare, so be sure to order it around when your entrees are served. Meals average at around $40, and with sides and desserts at $8 each, it ends up being around $60-75 per head, which was a bit more than I valued the food at. This and the fact that the food is somewhat generic made me give them 3 stars. My family came as a wait staff's worst nightmare: a boisterous, picky, and hungry party of nearly 20--(emphasis on the "party")--but they did a near-flawless job of ensuring each member had a great meal. As the name suggests, this is one of the most prime spots for dining on Marco Island, but after repeated visits, I find Verdi's, which is just a few blocks down the street, to be superior. But if you're here for a several days and have several fancy dinners to plan, Marco Prime will definitely give you more value than any of the hotels' dinner offerings.

Divine !!! It was a not-so-treacherous-hot evening so we sat outside at the bar area. Full menu at the bar - prompt, friendly service. Ordered the scallops, smokey mashed potatoes an asparagus... I can't even explain how great they were... excellent flavor.. i don't even like 'smoke' flavored food and it was wonderful. Also ordered the filet & brussel sprouts.. everything was excellent... If i had only 1 think i could mention it would be when you sit outside you risk sitting next to a smoker - but that's the risk you have to take! Was one of the best meals we had during our stay .... will be back - maybe aim for inside next time !

This place lives up to its name. It truly is prime. The food is fabulous. the presentation of the dishes is lovely Everyone was pleasant and courteous. The wait staff allowed us to enjoy each course and there was no rush despite the place being full/people waiting for tables. Definitely worth it.

I had the 12oz bone in filet special and my son had the 6oz filet...both ordered medium. Both steaks were slightly overlooked....like when you take them off the grill a minute or two too late and they continue cooking while they rest Great drinks...improved Manhattan was exactly that All in all a good meal

Was a fan of the bar scene and the cocktails. Great outdoor bar and they definitely pay attention to the drinks they make. ~$11 a drink, but I'm used to nyc prices, so this was on the lower end. I had the lobster bisque to start which was great, some serious chunks of lobster in it. The wife and I split the fresh local grouper special and an 8 oz filet med-rare. I read mixed reviews about the steak being properly cooked. I was very happy when the filet came out correct. The meat was a solid quality as well. The local grouper dish was great as well, it came with blue crab, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We skipped dessert as we were stuffed afterwards. Overall food quality and drink quality was a solid 4. Ambience and bar scene as well. Waiter attentiveness for most of the meal was lacking though. Nice, competent waiter, but they may have been understaffed. I would normally drop to a 3 star, but I think everything else more than compensated for the lack of waitstaff. One of the top dining experiences on Marco, glad to see they got it right!

Wow! Yes that about sums up my experience. Overall incredible. I think the only issue I had the entire time was the dining room was a little hot in temperature. Here is the rundown... Service was great. Our server Emmarie (spelling?) was sweet, knowledgable, fast, and helpful. She was great and made the already great experience even better. The drinks and food... Oh where to begin? Let's start with the drinks. We had a Riesling and a Pinot Noir. I am not a wine genius but it was a great selection. We finished with the house Espresso Martini. I love a good dessert martini. It was so good after we finished dinner, we sat at the bar to have one more. Definitely a must try. The food... We started with the appetizer or blue crab cake. Only issue-it was only one. Personally, would have preferred two that were just a little smaller. But again personal preference. The taste was delicious especially paired with the arugula. For my meal I had the filet mignon and a side of the green beans. The filet (I have mine med rare) literally melted in my mouth. I could cut it with a fork, didn't even need the knife. It was probably the best filet I've ever had in my life. The green beans had a slight kick to them to make them a little different. Absolutely delicious. It was a great compliment (not that it needed it) to my steak. My friend had the sirloin with the French fries and asparagus. French fries were the thinner kind with Parmesan and truffle. Also pretty good. And the asparagus was cooked perfectly. We shared the chocolate soufflé for dessert. It's a good thing we ordered it earlier because we were both full buy it was worth it. Absolutely sinful but worth every fork full. Dinner was a little pricy but considering the experience as a whole it was worth it.

Yelp reviews are mixed, but we had a great experience. The restaurant was directly across the street from our hotel and other hotels; it couldn't be more central or walkable to the Marco Isl. hotel district. The tuna tartar was very good and the ceviche done three ways was excellent. The salmon and grouper entrees were delicious. The kids meals were awesome - 4 oz filet mignon and veggies were incredible for a children's meal. Service was very attentive. We had a wonderful experience!!

Being from Chicago a capital of fine dining.... This place hit the spot. It's service was well trained although our waitress was a bit of a dud. The others around us seemed spot on. They were well spoken as you would expect for a fine dining place. You get a mix of patrons here because of vacationers but it's very nice and something you would get in a big city. Food was great!! Even my kids loved their $26 Petite filet mignon. Not much of a kids menu so expect to pay for them full price. I wasn't a fan of the ceviche but did love my steak as did my family! The girls liked the chocolate suffle as well. Drinks were good, they have Hendricks gin! Also a decent wine selection. Over all I would go back, a bit expensive but worth the return.

The food looked beautiful but the tuna made me very ill. Will never eat tuna again! I must say when I called mngmt they were very empathetic and refunded my entire meal.

The food was average at best, the service was fine but for what they charge per entree you expect a lot more! I had the short ribs, they were a bit too "smokey" for my liking and the mashed potatoes seemed like they came from a TV dinner. I was pleased to see they had a kids menu as we were with our toddler but $14 for macaroni and cheese seems a bit ridiculous. DaVinci across the way is a much better option.

If you're looking for a good steakhouse in Marco Island you've just found it! It's a high-end steakhouse without being unreasonably expensive. We ate the six ounce fillet mignon and it was delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and had a great taste! The location is also a plus because its within walking distance of many of the main hotels. If you are staying at the Hilton Marco, it is right across the street from the restaurant! It's also located in a little plaza with other restaurants and shops. There's even a dessert place right next door that sells gelato and fudge! I would recommend skipping the dessert at the the restaurant and going there. I've been visiting Marco Island for 16 years so you can trust me when I say this is the place to go!

Excellent restaurant. Quality beef and seafood expertly prepared. Little pricey but all these type of places are. We highly recommend this place.

After reading mostly positive reviews I could not wait to try it. My wife had the sirloin "special" it came with sides. My wife liked it very much. Perfectly cooked and very tender with excellent seasoning. I had the 8oz filet and also came perfectly cooked. (Medium well) Terrific seasoning and it cut like butter. Had the garlic mashed and was just awesome. Service from Joseph was outstanding as well as the rest if the staff. Typical pricing as you would expect for prime cuts of meat but not outrageous. Well done!

This place is really pretty. You definitely feel fancy eating here. We had to make reservations, people were waiting outside for quite some time without them. As we were seated out waiter greeted us, introduced us to a girl who was shadowing him for the evening, and took our drink orders. The restaurant has a large wine selection, but mostly by the bottle, the options by the glass were very disappointing. Only one Italian wine by the glass (a super Tuscan, which I don't care for) I ended up being sold on a Cabernet, which I have also never cared for. The waiter brought out a bread basket that had some nice warm bread and some kind of infused butter, none of us cared for the butter, it was weirdly sweet, not in a good way, we couldn't put our thumb on it. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, my other half ordered the 10 oz sirloin, and my in laws got the scallops and short ribs. I loved my sea bass, the fish was perfectly cooked, glazed in a soy ginger sauce that was really just amazing. The green beans that came with it were possibly the best green beans I've ever had. The steak was also very good, juicy and perfectly cooked, full of flavor, although quite small. It came with a gargantuan portion of shoestring fries and some asparagus. We also ordered calamari and macaroni and cheese. The calamari were some of the best I've tasted, very well breaded and flavorful, they brought out two different sauces to dip in, neither were marinara, which I liked. The Mac and Cheese was also great. The pasta was orichette which is sort of like a shell, more bowl shaped, and the sauce was Gouda and Parmesan. Delicious. Overall the place was very good, I left so incredibly full and satisfied. I would absolutely recommend this place, just don't forget your wallets.

Very nice. I had the Grouper Dynamite special, as did my twelve-year-old son. It was delicious. Grouper filet over a bed of ashes potatoes and asparagus, topped with crabmeat. Very yummy. My eleven-year-old had a filet, also good. My husband said his bone-in filet was good, not great. He's a very hard sell. Service was outstanding. My husband still wants to go back, mainly for the excellent Manhattan he had. I'm quite certain next time he'll find something on the menu he will love. My son said his fish was the best he'd ever eaten!

Went with the family on our last night on the island and were pleasantly surprised. 3 of the 4 of us had the prime rib and it was excellent. Cooked to perfection and served with a very nice steak sauce, asparagus and Parmesan fries. Our waitress, a young lady from Bulgaria, couldn't have been more attentive and polite.

So... Really mixed feelings on this one. As a new Marco Resident I really want to love and support a local top notch SteakHouse. But.... It's getting harder to do so as time goes by. I've visited the restaurant 4 times now, here are the accounts of my experiences. 1st Time: met a client for drinks and appetizers. Great bar, excellent drinks. Had Ceviche which being a native Miamian it does not come easy to say...excellent, but portions could be larger. Spanish Octopus... Well... amazing. And being of Galacian heritage I can say that. 2nd Time: dinner with client. Filet was flawless. Can't go wrong with meat supplied by Jimmy P's in Naples. Good wine selection, got Silver Oaks but server was clueless. Very nice, but clueless. 3rd Time: dinner for my sons B-Day. Fillets charred beyond recognition on outside and cold inside. My wife's medium rare came out beyond well done and replacement came out 15-20 minutes after so everyone's steaks were nice and cold waiting for hers. We don't eat until all guests are served. Staff was nice but service was amateurish at best. 4th and final: sat at bar. Waited over 20 minutes to get asked drink order and then bartender says no to happy hour at 6:05 after maitre'd had just offered happy hour drink menu to us. Then as I am speaking to ask about ordering an appetizer the waiter walks away in mid sentence. Bottom line, had great potential but as traffic has increased, quality and service has declined. If I wanted over priced inconsistent steaks and poor service with attitude I could have stayed in Miami and gone to Smith and Wolensky on South Beach. Not going back...

Menu was what brought us in, we checked it out online and it was better than expected. Surf and Turf and seafood risotto for the kids were both huge hits. Wedge salad was incredible. Crab cake and lobster stack small plates were my dinner and more than enough food. Lobster bisque was also great. All the seafood was great, steaks served to perfection. The real "high five for ordering" dish was the Gouda Mac & Cheese! Wish we had more time in Marco because there is so much more I want to try there! Service was superb and extremely kid friendly, which made our night.

Probably a 3.8 10 oz Steak sirloin special with asparagus and fries was tasty: Steak was quite: good fries were ok ( may be better off with a la carte choices) Small portion asparagus Grilled octopus appetizer was great Worst martini I've ever had: watery ,stale olives and not cold Service was friendly

Harry our server was PHENOMENAL!! Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our meals - surf and turf and the braised short ribs. We finished our evening with the chocolate soufflé which was well worth saving the extra room for!

I came here after seeing a reasonable happy hour. After one glass of wine, a local? Or regular- Stopped and asked if he could sit by me, I said okay. After 5-10 he became very inappropriate. I kept seeing if the the bartenders would come to my rescue. They did not. I ended up leaving on account of the inappropriateness I encountered.

This was our 1st time frequenting this establishment and Marco Prime did not disappoint! Leo, our server was very knowledgable & attentive but not overly so. The service was top notch. The different courses came out in an unhurried pace. The atmosphere and decor were very relaxing. Our salads were delicious and fresh. I got the surf & turf and it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare temperature per my request. The lobster tail was moist and also very delicious ! My husband got the sirloin medium-rare as well. He said his was fantastic and cooked to the requested temperature. The sides were great as well. We did not order dessert. We were very pleasantly surprised. This has proven to be one of the best restaurants in Marco. I wish we discovered it earlier on in our vacation .

We went there with a work colleague. We found great wine, great service and delicious food. I had one of the specials, the bass and it was perfectly cooked. My husband had a medium fillet and also was cooked to perfection. We loved the ambiance.. Modern and hip. The place was packed!

The service was timely and extremely courteous, which seems to be fairly common to Marco Island. I had one of my favorites, ribeye steak, while my wife had the Salmon, matched up with a loaded potato, asparagus, and a salad. My steak was cooked exactly how I asked, and char broiled with great flavor. It was fairly large too, coming in at 20oz without the bone. The potato was ok, tasty, but pretty standard fare. The asparagus would've been better if it wasn't loaded with too much sea salt, and it tasted like the mouthful of sea water I had accidentally gotten earlier in the day while swimming. The salad had a oil and vinegar dressing and seemed like the lettuce had been sitting in the dressing a bit too long, and the homemade croutons were overly garlicky, perhaps having come from their sister restaurant (Italian food) from the night before. My wife said her salmon was delicious. Overall a bit on the pricey side for what it is, I realize they are trying to go for a more upscale dining approach in an area that markets to the 50+ age crowd that flocks to this area, and with it comes higher prices. Also, they need to fire their graphic designer or whoever designed their logo and catchphrase, I wasn't sure at first if I was entering a restaurant or going to look at real estate.

Enjoyed another excellent meal at Marco Prime. I had there popular Chilean Sea Bass and my friend had their veal chop special. Both were excellent as was the service. With Sebastian running the front of the house you always have things running smoothly. His years of experience as an award-winning sommelier is a big plus, too, as they have a well stocked wine cellar. It's the slow, off-season for Marco Island eateries, yet they were busy and that is a tribute to their kitchen and service.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. The decor was very nice and the restaurant was fairly busy. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a table with 2-3 small children. I'll start by saying that the service was on par with other places we went to in Marco/Naples - excellent. We started with martinis and appetizers (calamari and ceviche). Both were good! For the main course we ordered the steak & lobster. The steak was perfectly cooked and so was the lobster. Again, both were very good! The only issue we had was the table of screaming kids next to us. Yes, one of the children screeched at the top of his lungs our entire meal. Neither the parent or staff made any attempt to quiet him down. We tried drinking more alcohol but even that didn't help! If this were my restaurant, they would have been asked to leave. Unfortunately, it tainted what could have been a very nice, relaxing 5 star meal.

A great location and ambience. Great wait staff. Unfortunately the food way sub par. Had the shrimp appetizer which tasted like a frozen dinner. My husband had oysters - not cold, tiny, and not well presented, on a bed of rock salt, and not cold The marrow bone appetizer, $12, consisted of three small half bones, two of which had less than half a teaspoon of marrow. There was no salt in any salt shaker ( we tried six). Way too expensive for the quality,

Two straight nights eating here on our trip to Marco Island. Surf and Turf was my wife's "best meal ever". Sliced NY Strip was outstanding as well. Servings were large. Sides were very good. Leo was a great waiter and was honest on his recommendations. He did not try to push us to the most expensive items but pointed out his favorites in all categories. Wine was served timely. It is expensive but not over priced. I highly recommend.

  • Angie C.

Not impressed. I'll start with the positives. The service was excellent. Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese was great. Kids portions were huge. For a Steakhouse, the steak was mediocre. The kids 4oz filet was bigger than my 6 oz. Not much flavor. Mushrooms were not that good. For the money, I wouldn't go here again.

I'm thinking this restaurant has aspirations of being like a neighborhood ruths chris or Flemings or mortons......but its not there yet. we enjoyed our experience here but its too pricey(typical marco island) for what you get. Marco prime has a beautiful interior. sleek steakhouse atmosphere. some steakhouses can be noisy....I agree...but this place only has an OK vibe.. waiters running around...very noisy tables..maybe its the acoustics. Svetlana, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive. cocktails were fine. My French onion soup was good and our salads were OK.... I had the prime rib special with garlic mashed potatoes and it was good....just not in the big leagues of beef which I expected given the pricing. wife had the scallops and was pleased. Pleasant enough but I was hoping for a notch better.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try. We love a good steak once in a while. Ok let's be honest we find any excuse to try a new steak house. This place was good not the best but enjoyable. We ordered the wedge salad and it was great. Crisp and just the right mixture of toppings and the bacon was amazing!! I had the surf and turf. It comes with a filet lobster tail, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The lobster was awesome!! Steak was cooked to order and tender but not a lot of flavor. We ordered the au gratin potatoes and mushrooms as sides. I was a fan of the potatoes but my husband said they were ok. Mushrooms had a good flavor and were not swimming in butter. Service was good they did forget to bring out the bread but over all service was fine. Their key lime tart was delicious and I would definitely recommend getting some of that. If you are in the area it's worth checking out. It is also close to some theaters and shopping if you are planning an evening.

Very good and not badly priced. Was there at 430 pm for supper(called ahead for reservations) and got right in. Had 12 oysters (raw bar) and the Ahi Salad, wifey had burger. All was prepared perfect and very timely. Cole slaw and fries were very good for sides. Waiter was very good and drinks were asked to be refilled without asking. Recommend as a great sit down (outside or inside) place for food. 12 oysters, burger,2 martini's, soda and sides for less then 75 bucks was not bad for being on "mark up island" in high season.

Made reservations on a Saturday night at 8:30pm and the place was packed! We were seated when promised and looked over the wine list. And to our right was this amazing wine cellar. The decor was very inviting and the inside was not loud. There were a large amount of people outside watching NASCAR at the bar, which made it a little noisier than most places. So anyway, best drink EVER was the cucumber cooler. Nice gin, fresh cucumber and mint.....Amazingly refreshing. I ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer. It was very good but is was missing the lobster part. Maybe just in my bowl, not sure. But good. My husband had the wedge salad. Also good but nothing extravagant. It's a wedge after all. For dinner I had their scallop entree with asparagus and substituted garlic mashed for the smoked mashed. Excellent choice my me because it was fabulous. Everything cooked just right-scallops nicely seared, crisp asparagus and I only ate a few bites of the potatoes but they were good. My husband had the ribeye which was too much for him to eat, and the loaded baked potato was equally as large. It was a lot of food and no room to try desserts. maybe next time. Overall, definitely a do again when I get back to Marco

We went in to visit this wonderful gem after reading the glowing reviews on yelp!!! The decor is gorgeous (minus the random tacky light sign on the wall... It just didn't fit in) Anyway, onto the good! The service was incredibly prompt, knowledgeable about the wines and food, and friendly. The food was out of this world!!!!!! I had ahi tuna and it was the best tuna I have ever had!!!!!!!!!! My mother was with me and she had surf and turf and the lobster was outstanding! (I don't eat red meat so I didn't try the steak) It's easy to see this is the same owner of davincis because the food and service excel beyond expectations!

Location is what is best about this place.... It has the set up to be really great! Great outside bar and sitting area with heat lamps to enjoy the busy atmosphere. However, the food is just ok... Nothing spectacular. The service and staff is really what merits the low rating....they could really all use some serious customer service training and direction. I hope they can find a way to get better ... We have tried it 3 times now and the service has been bad still every time .... Some from the same people... (Bartender) shame on us I guess for continuing to Go back! Definitely better places to spend your money.

Great food and service! We ended up eating there two nights in a row with the same server, Dmytro. He was excellent! Food consistently great both evenings. We had Jumbo Scallops and Chilean Sea Bass both nights. Tried several appetizers. You will not be disappointed going to eat here.

Ok folks... this is IT! You've found the best restaurant on Marco Island as of this date. Hands down... but be prepared to pay for it. The atmosphere is very clean and tasteful. The only thing I'd suggest is, table cloths. The service is as professional as it gets in these parts. The owner, Luigi is super friendly and down to earth. He visited our table a few times during the evening, but never interrupted us or imposed in any way. He keeps moving from table to table randomly as a host ought to. Nice guy too. Our waiter, Leo was professional, knows how to smile and when. He was very knowledgeable about the extensive menu, and made excellent suggestions based on the questions each of us had. There's a full bar if you like a well-made cocktail before dinner, and the wine list is more than adequate. We had the 2009 Praxx Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon ($70) which paired perfect with my 14 oz. Wagu sliced sirloin. Although I rarely order it, any dinner house exudes quality if they offer a Joseph Phelps Insignia ($235) and these guys do. They also offer 10, 20, 30, & 40 year old Tawny ports! Most of the menu is ala carte in the tradition of high-end steak houses here in the USA. Order some of the sides and share because the portions are large enough that everyone can enjoy a serving. (We were a party of 3). Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and presented with pride (not pretension). Try the lobster bisque... you won't be disappointed. Or just go with what Leo suggests for that night. Yeah, yeah, yeah... it's expensive... so what! You get what you pay for in this life. Like my brother-in-law always says, "...spend it. Where we're going, money's no good." Finally, I've never been a fan of key lime pie in all the years I've been visiting my Mom here in south Florida. This place has changed that for me. Although I'll probably only ever order it here because I've never had anything quite as amazing as this anywhere else.

Food was delicious. We had surf and turf, sliced skirt steak, and the wedge salad. Steaks were cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. Highly recommend the wedge salad. Would definitely go back. Service was attentive.

The restaurant was packed even though it was raining cats and dogs out. Our waiter was fine except he spoke so low we had to ask him to repeat everything. The food was OK but nothing special. My creamed spinach was REALLY creamy and so much so I couldn't eat but a 3-4 bites. My husband's pork chop was fatty and he was disappointed. Maybe we are too spoiled with the restaurants where we live in Boston where they are excellent for the most part.

We were put off by the fancy schmancy Naples steak joints -- Andre's, Preston's, Capital Griille, all fine establishments but way expensive and stuffy -- so Marco Prime came as a welcome surprise. Relaxed, attractive, and with killer food. My wife and I both had the Caesar salad, one of the best I've had, garlicky and with home-made croutons. She had the NY Strip and I had the Wagyu Strip. Both perfect. And I had a side of the Szechuan Green Beans. A perfect complement to the steak. Great wine list. And Darrin, our server, couldn't have been more helpful.

My wife and I and our two kids dined there during the week of June 1st. We have been going to Marco Island for 18 years and were on a mission to find new restaurants. We dined out every night, so it was good to compare restaurants on the island. The outdoor seating overlooks the plaza and the indoor seating is very nice, so atmosphere is excellent. The food is overall very good and the portions are generous. The steaks were good, but not really worth the price they charge for them. We're from the Atlanta area where steak houses are a dime a dozen, so you have to be impressive to stand out. But here was the biggest issue. Our waiter was upselling us the entire time. We look at vacation dinners as a "money is no object" affair, but this was ridiculous. We ordered a bottle of wine, but when the waiter showed up at our table with the bottle, he tried to upsell us with another bottle. C'mon. That's just lame. So, as good as everything was, the prices and the upselling were a bit too much to get high marks from us.

Outstanding food and equally impressive service. Tamas took great care of us. Wagyu beef was top shelf as was the filet and tuna. Extensive wine list including some unusual bottle specials. Cocktails got the meal off to a fine start. The semifreddo to finish was perfect. Total dining experience worth every penny.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the short ribs and they were tender and savory. My dining partner wanted her steak done well and had to return it two times, but the staff was very concerned that she was satisfied and even offered her new side dishes in case they had cooled off while she waited for her steak to be cooked. The prices are what you would expect at a resort area, but some of the steak prices seemed a little high.

Food & service are too good. I love eating at the bar outside. Great spot to meet friends. My fav is grilled octopus app and herb chicken. Don't miss this place if your on Marco Island.

Enjoyed this so much we joined different friends two nights in a row here. On first night tried the wagyu beef which was some sort of cut that was a bit fattier but quite tasty, supposedly like Kobe beef. The sides were all average, Mac and cheese was a bit bland. Second night did the short ribs which were excellent. Service was attentive both nights, although they had some trouble lighting the outdoor heaters. On second night we ordered 2 bottles of Pinot and the waitress encouraged us to try a bottle that was half the price and tasted better, she was right on. Overall, a great experience give it a try.

This place is pricey but it's worth the money. The are willing to alter menu items for your order. The wedge salad is very good, the blue cheese is delicious as well as their Mac and cheese. You can't go wrong with their steak either, the filet is a favorite

Had a very good meal here. With a few tweaks - mostly with regard to service - it could be a 5-star restaurant. First the good: the wagyu beef carpaccio was delicious. Even my 11-year-old loved it. I had short ribs - very good. Nice & tender. Hubby had fish - can't recall exactly what - but it was good as well. A nice touch was having our own carafe of water. Now the not-so-good: our table was so wobbly, it was irritating. Another group was having the same issue. The owner actually went around trying to balance them. A server (not our waitress) brought warm bread to the table, left a little pot of some sort of flavored butter, then took off like a shot. Never told us what we were eating & we couldn't figure it out. Our waitress was nice enough, but every time she filled our water glasses, she spilled (ample amounts) on the table! I would recommend MP for a good meal, but don't expect stellar service.

My husband and I come to Marco every year and love eating at our favorite restaurants, and we were really excited about trying this new place! It did not disappoint! The setting is beautiful, perfect place for a romantic dinner out. We started with a bottle of Zin from their impressive wine list. Our waitress (Ally) was wonderful. She suggested the sea bass and the wagu beef, and we ordered exactly that. It was fabulous! Loved everything about my experience here and we will definitely be back during our stay!

When spending 5 nights this past week in Marco Island, we loved this place so much we ate here two out of the five nights! Reasonably priced menu items focusing in Seafood and Steaks. A very nice wine list as well. I would suggest they add some additional martini options as well. Servers were very knowledgeable and prompt. I had scallops on night that were out of this world and trout, both were delish! Caesar salad and French onion soup were also wonderful! Hubs loved the selection of draft beers and had their nightly special of stuffed roasted pork with pistachios and a steak the next night. When we came back the second time a couple of nights later the host remembered us which was classy also. No complaints whatsoever except that it was a little loud both times we dined there, people just having fun I guess, try it you will love it!

We live here on Marco & we love DiVinci's Restaurant which also is the owner of this restaurant so we knew we wouldn't be disappointed & we weren't ! We started with the surf & turf sliders, tender beef & lobster on a fresh slider bun, served with crunchy, hot fries. next we shared the french onion soup, hot & cheesy. Moving on to the main course, we shared the short ribs, so tender & delicious, so much flavor with the sauce, Mmmmm is all I have to say ! It is pricy but with sharing a bunch on things the bill was $62, which isn't bad for dinner for two, although we weren't having any cocktails that night. Overall a wonderful meal !

First time at Marco Prime Steak and Seafood Restaurant. We were with a large group and put in a small room near entrance. The acoustics in this room were terrible. The were two large tables and one small table filled with other people in this room. You could not hear the person next to you because of the noise. The service was excellent and the waiter was attentive but it took forever to get our drink order. My dinner of salmon was wonderful but my husband's steak was uneatable because if so much fat. He sent it back. Another member of our party ordered steak also, ate a little and took rest home. He, too, had to throw it way because of the fat. Everything is ala carte and our meal was very expensive. Because of the room we were in, we did not see anything beautiful about the restaurant as other reviewers mentioned. We do not plan on returning.

The blackened sea scallops were delicious and the hickory smoked mashed potatoes that they were paired with was a unique and delectable change from the ordinary.

Overpriced and overrated. The food looks better than it tasted. Steaks were poor quality and not cooked very well. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Alright, if I was going on my dinner alone, it would have been a 5, hands down. I got the 6oz filet and it was magnificent. However, my husband got the Waygu NY strip, and I tasted it and it was not all that wonderful. It was not bad, just overly charbroiled and a bit overdone. It wasn't very tender either. On a totally other note the place is nice, but I do think they seated us in an area for people with kids. That's fine, it was still super nice, but just an observation on my part.

If we could rate just the food, it was absolutely fantastic. If we could rate just the ambience, it was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately service becomes the one thing to make or break a wonderful evening. Ours was BEYOND BROKEN! To be served and never spoken to again until the bill came was more than disappointing. Hopefully he was just as disappointed with the gratuity - as we are very generous, but not on this visit.

The bad. Felt a little rushed and the gin martini...pass. The good. Excellent fillets. Bone marrow app spot on. Oysters and the truffle fries were very good. Order the chocolate souffle with ice cream. Enjoy

It was just okay. The bread was stale and although the friendly server brought us some more upon request the replacement bread wasn't that much better. Although the drink I ordered was decent it was maybe half the size of a normal drink. The entrees were pretty good. Maybe I was expecting more for the prices and the positive reviews (from both Yelp and word of mouth). The location is good, right near a few of the resorts and in the same plaza as the movie theatre.

My hotel concierge recommend this restaurant highly. They had a very impressive menu. My family was dining early and the place was empty. I was disappointed, but not surprised when they proposed to seat us at perhaps the worst table in the restaurant. After all, this has been a common practice at eateries for years. After a more commodious table had been secured, the staff were quite nice and most attentive. It is a pity that the food did not live up to the promise of the menu. Appetizers: Marrow bones for me. Fine, but two lacked much marrow. The accompanying toast was leathery. Tuna tartare for a companion was quite good. Spanish octopus was presented nicely but, we thought, was almost tasteless except for a sour charred aftertaste. Lettuce wedge salad was competent but not special. Entrees: My second steak was just OK, after the first came medium but ordered rare. The grouper was dry and had a fishy aftertaste; it was not among the better I have tasted. The sea bass was fine. The salmon was fine but was served in an overpoweringly sweet glaze. Sides: the asparagus, and the steamed vegetables were excellent. The local water (tap), though served elegantly, tasted of chlorine. Unsurprisingly, then, we ordered bottled water. Instead of large bottles of, in this case, San Pelegrino, the water was only available in small bottles. We gave up after eight. Our wait-person was very nice, and quite amusing. The decor was comfortable without being memorable. As I said, the menu looks fantastic. Classic items like marrow bones, good selections of steak and seafood, and sushi are enticing. Based on the menu, I could eat here every night for a month. Based on the food, I doubt that it is worth a second chance, especially in this price range. $60+ pre alcohol and pre tip. No dessert.

Our first time here celebrating my "little brothers" 50th birthday! We were a party of 5 with reservations. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and offered sparking water and given bread and butter. The butter was a mixture of something sweet and........ Couldn't put my finger on it but I did enjoy it. The birthday boy, not so much. We had the Wagyu carpaccio as our appetizer, a little heavy on the truffle oil but all around good choice. I had the sirloin which was cooked as ordered medium rare. Very tender, it came with asparagus that was a little to firm but good nonetheless. The shoe string fries?? To die for. My hubby had the Berkshire pork shank. He said it was good, tender nice light smokey sauce. Accompanied by lentils and Brussel sprouts. The birthday boy had braised short rib with smashed potatoes and asparagus which he (and mom) enjoyed. My sister in law had petit filet mignon with blue cheese sauce, truffle scented mushrooms. She enjoyed it immensely. Our waiter Chris? Was very knowledgable about the menu. Suggested a great bottle of wine Rio ho. Went well with dinner. The desserts were great. Order the chocolate soufflé early as it takes 30 minutes to prepare. Overall a great place. We do plan on returning soon!!!

Birthday dinner, party of 5. Both ladies ordered the fillet; One medium-up and the other medium Rare. Both steaks were medium-rare and the other got sent back, came back still real bloody. This was not the waitress' fault but she could have done more to make up the mistake of the kitchen. The ceviche was great.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. I had the yellow snapper. It was kind of bland, but the chop stick & shrimp appetizer was excellent!

The special baby chicken lacked flavor had orangey broth with white wine sauce. Not sure what it really was. Was not served bread until we asked for it just before dinner was served. The short ribs were so tough I had to use a sharp knife to get through them. I've eaten here before and had a good experience but I'm reluctant to come back

This is our new favorite restaurant on Marco Island!! Everything from their bar drinks to dessert was spectacular! We cannot wait to go back and try out more of the menu! We tried out several of the signature cocktails, a bottle of wine recommenced by Adamo, the Chop Stix and Shrimp ( OMG), Lobster Bisque ( I am going to get this over and over again! ) Jumbo Sea Scallops, the Tomahawk Rib Eye Steak (AMAZING), the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio ( wonderful!) and we had to share a couple of desserts. Great service, AAA Food, and a spectacular remodel on the restaurant it self!! We are so happy to have such a great restaurant on the island!

Wow. Third trip to Marco Island and we were looking for a new place. Marco Prime didn't disappoint! Everything was top notch! For apps we had the tuna tartare and lobster/crab martini. Both were exceptionally fresh and tasty! For dinner we had 3 filet mignons, rare, med, and med well. All were cooked perfectly, the sauces (veal, cab, and blue cheese) were great, and the sides were delicious. The creamed spinach was the best ever - made with smoked Gouda. Mmm! Asparagus, garlic mashed, and even the tomato garnish were fabulous! For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé and the key lime meringue. Great way to end the meal! We ordered a reasonably priced wine, and a glass of port as well. Our server Nelson was friendly and attentive. Our only gripe: there was nothing "plain" for finicky eaters. My son went for the roasted chicken, which he loved, but would have preferred a burger, which wasn't on the menu. Yes, it was pricey, but that's to be expected and the quality and experience made it worth every dime! We'll definitely be back!

Food was amazing. We started with wedge salads which were fantastic and well portioned. I got the Sliced Waygu Strip, my wife got the scallops. Smoked mashed potatoes? Insanely good and creative. Seasons, doneness and portions were all fantastic. Perfection. Desert was amazing. Wine list was very good. Our server was sweet, attentive and the support team was great. They make it clear they value the customer. The service was a little quick. Bread came out fast and was cold by the time we got to it. Salads were out before we enjoyed the bread. Meals came out on tip of the salad. Such great food deserves time to savor. Maybe trying to compensate for atmosphere? The location is beautiful and new but lacks atmosphere. I was disappointed that the Yelp description said the dress was dressy and me in my Kakis was the best dressed... By far. There were people in t-shirts and shorts as the regular. Not a fancy or a romantic experience and doesn't line up with the quality or level of food or the service. $218 with tip for 2 all in, pre drinks, salads, wine, meals and desert. Not bad for quality of food but not what I would call a value. Overall great with room for improvement. Will absolutely be back.

Pretty atmosphere but with sun shining in half the table felt like they were in the dark. Sirloin was grisly. Chilean sea bass was overlooked for one of us, strong fishy taste and odor. Prime rib was ok, cod special was good. Drinks were extremely expensive, and minimal wine brand choices. DaVinci's has this place beat by leaps and bounds.

I went to this restaurant expecting a lot. It is expensive. They took half of the space that Konrad's had(the restaurant before it). It seemed small. We ordered and had to ask for extra bread. They charge $3 for steak sauce. The filet mignon was good and cooked right. However, I wanted to substitute a different type of starch because it only came with mashed potatoes and I'm not a fan. No go! They would not substitute a thing. So, we all got lumpy mashed potatoes at our table. Overpriced wine.

My wife and i travel for work and pleasure allowing us to be exposed to may venues and food alternative. Very Very good service, food and a welcoming comments from management, staff and even the chef made us feel special. While there is not a dress code i felt awkward with a polo, shorts and flip flops i think they might suggest on the website casual attire as everyone else was nicely dressed. Our meal was very nice and priced well. one of the best restaurants in Marco although i haven't visited the Italian restaurant off Bald eagle, which i hear is very nice as well.

This is now my favorite restaurant on Marco. The food is absolutely amazing and coming from someone who lived in San Francisco so many years definitely a compliment. The calamari was outstanding and the meat was exceptional. A definite must try if you are on the Island.

Great restaurant! Shared the 14oz wagyu steak with my sister and we could barely eat it all it was so much also my parents shared it and couldn't hardly eat it all! The mac n cheese was also fantastic! Great atmosphere! Good vibe! Only negative was the charge for everything! Charged for a side of special sauce and splitting the entree. But other than that I would have given it a 5 star

Upscale steak/seafood restaurant with limited outside seating , but the inside is very nicely furnished. Great bar that is 1/2 in side and 1/2 outside... Specials from the servers were great- had a nice thick steak as I needed a seafood break! Extensive wine list but $$$ for a bottle.. bring some friends and split the cost.. Food was great! Service was top notch! I would go back without question and highly recommend!

I heard about this place while still in Pittsburgh and couldn't wait to try it. So we went in without a reservation, had a drink at the beautiful bar and got seated quickly. We were immediately served chilled water and two types of bread with their homemade butter made with mushrooms, cream cheese, and black truffle oil. Awesome substitute for butter with much more taste. I ordered the Surf and Turf, a 6 oz filet and a lobster tail. Now this is Marco Island people and as nice of a restaurant as they get, the surf n turf was only $38 and the meal was great. The filet and lobster done to perfection. Also, I am a bit of a Vodka connoisseur and the bar had a great selection of very good Vodka including Ketel One, Chopin, and Tito's to name a few. I loved it and will make a point to come back every time I visit Marco.

I'll start by saying the ambiance is great! The waitress however was not friendly or helpful. She was attentive though. The prices are steep and most steaks do not include sides. The sides and sauces for your steak are all extra. Charging for the steak sauce? Seriously!? Wine list was great. We were a party of four and were brought bread for three and butter for two. Had to ask for enough to serve us all and waited for it to arrive. Butter never arrived. Neither the bread or butter was of high quality. The filet mignon was really fabulous, we could have cut it with a fork. Sauces were flavorful and although we were told they could only serve one, they were big enough to serve two. We ordered 3 sides, the wild mushrooms and asparagus were good but not anything memorable. We were excited to try the truffle fries. We were disappointed to find they were shredded crunchy straws not fries. They were a garnish not a side. Another huge strike against them. All in all I think this restaurant has excellent potential. The chef made an incredible steak. They either need to give more value and give more quality sides and bread or increase their service a ton to warrant their prices. As they are new, I hope they listen to these reviews and adjust to make this place a home run!

Overall we we not impressed. Usually expensive means pretty good quality and good taste. Our meals were poor quality and bland tasting. Started with a sorry excuse for a Caesar salad. The Parmesan cheese was the best thing about the salad but the lettuce, dressing and croutons were bori. And tasteless. My wife ordered surf and turf and was sadly disappointed with both the lobster and filet. Lobster was rubbery, and too salty even before dipping in butter. The filet was bland and void of any true high quality steak flavor that one might expect at $41 per plate. I had the miso glazed Chilean sea bass which came recommended by two staff members and I found the fish to be really sub par by any measure. The sauce was too salty and the fish seemed to be not as fresh as I would have hoped for the $35 price tag. Sadly the best thing about my dinner was the green beans that came along with my fish dinner. They were spicy, tender, and well cooked. To wrap it up, I view this dinner as a $120 mistake. A mistake I will not make again. You know it's bad when your seven year old child won't even eat the pasta with butter.

Went to celebrate our 29th anniversary and could not have picked a better restaurant. We had octopus and oysters for appetizers. Both were fresh and delicious. Husband had the short ribs and I had the prime rib special. Both of our dinners were wonderful. Finished off with cappuccino and crème brûlée. Definitely make this a stop every time we come to Marco Island.
