This review is on service alone, being my girlfriend and I waited literally an hour and a half for an appetizer for me and a slice of pie for my girlfriend from the time we ordered until the time we got her pie. I never received my appetizer, so I can't comment on the food. My girlfriend asked for three different pies before she was told "just because it's on the menu doesn't mean we have it". She asked what they did have and was told one that she decided on. An hour and a half before you can bring a pre made slice of pie out? Really??? In the hour and about 45 of being there all together we never received the first refill on our drinks. The kicker was we were two hours ahead of schedule to go to an arena football game that was 30 minutes away and was late to it after spending a lot of money on tickets. This appears to be a "good ole boy" joint where if you're a local you get the royal treatment (saw a table get there 20 minutes after we did and the waitresses go talk to them as if they knew them and were gone before we got our food) and if you're not, well you get the picture. As we walked out another couple that was passing through as well mentioned to his wife all he wanted was chicken but wasn't waiting any longer. And in talking shared the same opinion.

I love their chicken tender wraps and fried squash. Anything with their ranch...it's awesome! They have cheap draft beer..$2.25 for angry orchard.

When we lived in Ga. We use to come here as often as we could the food was great and prices were good. However now that we've stopped by again. I was disappointed the sloppy woody was very dry had to add plenty of BBQ sauce and tasted a little old. The portions on the sides were good however the fries were tough. The waitress was friendly but seemed to be in a hurry.however I might add the tea was exelent. ..

First time at a Woody's and I was not disappointed! The music was not too loud and our waitress was very friendly. I ordered the Mesquite Chicken Salad. It was huge and the homemade ranch dressing was sublime. Worth the 8 bucks. Definitely will be coming here again to try the BBQ.

This is only the second time I've been here and both times I only went because someone I was with wanted to go. I'm not a huge fan of barbecue and I've always thought their prices were a little ridiculous. For instance, paying almost ten dollars for a salad that had huge chunks of lettuce and no knife to cut it. The dressing, supposed to be southwest ranch, tasted like regular ranch with a ton of chili powder, not the best in the world. As a whole it was decent but did not feel like it was a $10 salad. Service was really slow, tried to get the attention of the host as soon as I got there to reserve a table while we waited on the rest of our party and stood a good while and no one ever came. Eventually went outside to wait and by the time the rest of the group arrived there was a line in front of us. After finally getting seated we waited a good 10 minutes or more before ever seeing our waitress. Also, wait was a little ridiculous on getting our one small appetizer as well. There were quite a few people in the restaurant but it wasn't packed so not sure why the long service times. To top if off because we switched tables we overheard the waitress arguing over who was going to take our table, quite loudly. The waitress we ended up with was good but I felt it was a little rude to complain and argue in front of guests as to who would get the table. Not a terrible visit but it did not impress me enough to go back on my own.

I really want to write a review about how yummy Woody's is. I want to talk about their Potatchos that are amazing and their smoked wings.....BUT I can't for this location. Last time I ate here, our table of 5 turned into 6 when we saw a roach crawling up the wall behind us. That's an automatic hell to the no, I'm not eating here again. I understand that restaurants may have bugs, it's inevitable. But I don't want to see them when I'm eating, especially the most evil of all evil bugs. Sorry Woody's. Your food is really good, but not good enough to get past roaches.

We eat take out from here alot and our usual meals include Prime Rib, Spare Ribs, BBQ salads and Pochachos (thin fried chips with any meat and diced tomatoes, olives, sour cream and salsa) my son eats these and corn nuggets, food is usually hot and you get watch you order which doesn't happen very often when you order to go orders at other places but there to go window employees are good, there is usually a wait to get your food because of how the to go window is set up, there is a menu board that you can order from and thus if someone has not pre ordered and you get behind the person just ordering then you may be there a while in line waiting on that person's order to be cooked while yours is getting cold so I sometimes park and go in to avoid waiting in line. The only one thing I would like when you call and ask what the specials are is that the person taking take out orders would know this but most of the time they have to put you on hold, why is there not a daily special paper hanging on the phone so they wouldn't have to spend more time trying to figure it out.

Waitstaff was great-friendly and helpful. Food was a touch bland, surprising with BBQ. Great atmosphere for families though bathrooms should really be labeled something different than "campgrounds."

Food is good but not great. Service can be Meh at times but usually it's pretty good and the waitresses are usually very friendly. With BBQ places being so limited in Macclenny this would be a good choice. The naked wings here are really good and one of my favorite dishes to get when visiting. The Ribs are usually pretty good too but can be hit or miss at times. Definitely not the best BBQ I've had but surely not bad either.

Friendly service, decent barbecue. Stopped here on the way back from Jacksonville on a Sunday evening. Had the pork sampler plate with ribs, pulled pork, and sliced pork. I like sliced pork the best generally and this was no exception. The ribs were good - they reminded me of Sonny's BBQ, but I didn't care for the pulled pork. On the side I had some collard greens (cooked fresh) and french fries. The sides were good if not memorable. Also came with a tasty, buttery piece of garlic bread. Woody's has a bewildering array of sauces, including hot, sweet (my favorite), Carolina-style, and during my visit they had a new chipotle sauce. The sweet tea was perfectly sweetened. All-in-all, I would consider stopping at Woody's again should I find myself in MaClenny again, but I think Sonny's BBQ wins the award for my favorite barbecue chain.

Love the food and depending on where I sit or the night, the atmosphere. The service is usually good, but sometimes you'll get that off server but usually that's not a problem. They are polite but not much more than that. The bar is kinda a no-no because there's always obnoxious people over there which is sad because I love when they have bingo.

Good chain BBQ joint not great, service is friendly but somewhat iffy. Pork is really good but the beef seems really dry/not moist to me. The sweet tea is really SWEET. It is typical chain BBQ but it's not anything to die for.

The home made Ranch Dressing is the best. And their Mustard Based Sauces are really good too.

Pretty good Bar B Q. The Carolina BBQ was awesome and the half pound Angus burgers taste fresh off the grill. would recommend this place to anyone.
