Clean, . Good prices, . Sushi in Citrus County FINALLY, . Ordered the Panko Chicken was not amazed. Tried the Black Diamond Roll, yuck. The basics like salmon roll, California roll we're decent. Sushi rice needs perfecting. Fish could definitely have been colder, I don't like room temperature fish. Sushi chef needs to learn how to roll tighter. Seaweed salad should have had less dressing but good. I will keep trying them though. Anything to be able to enjoy sushi close to home. It's a new business so I expect it will take time to work out the kinks.

The first time I ate here they were about 2-3 weeks open. I ordered a Tempura dinner and was extremely disappointed by how tiny the tempura I received as well as the number. It also came with 2 string bean tempura, a sweet potato tempura and another piece of an unidentified vegetable. They were off on the costing. I gave them another chance though and have since dined 2x. Their Pork Tonkatsu is decent, and the sushi acceptable enough for my cravings.

I'm thrilled we finally have a sushi restaurant here in citrus county. There ginger salad dressing was really good. The tuna roll was fabulous. But there California roll had ground krab meat (strange) and not enough cucumber and avocado. The rainbow roll came with a spicy tuna roll underneath, (normally a California roll) not that it was a bad thing, it just had no crunch. It was kinda mushy. Now the service. Unfortunately it was awful. Considering how new this restaurant is. You would think they would be on top of there game when it comes to service. But nope! I'm going to give them another chance cause I feel they deserve one. I'll fill y'all in when I go back.

I was very excited about getting an Asian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, there is just not enough bang for the buck at this place. We ordered a sushi sampler for $11.50. It was good, very fresh and tasty, but rather paltry. The chicken kaizen don (I totally have this wrong) was a breaded chicken cutlets, sliced, over rice for $14. It was tasty. The waitress asked if we wanted fried rice with that, which I guess was in lieu of steamed rice. Turns out it was a $3 upcharge. We had also ordered a side of fried rice for $5. The rice wasn't anything to write home about, but it did come with a yummy sauce which saved it. So all in all the food was good but too pricy for what u got. We had to go out for ice cream afterward to feel satisfied.

This was the second time going there. I believe in giving places a second chance but at this point there probably will not be a third. Here in Citrus County we are so starved for places to eat that usually the best part is the waiting for the place to open. The place is way to Hot!! I feel bad for the folks working there. The soup I had the first time was ok. The spicy roll I had was not spicy nor was it a uniform roll. This time the shrimp lo mein was just bad. Sorry wish I had something good to say.

A little/lot disappointed...was hoping for a good sushi restaurant. What we received was long wait, confused staff, food, so so. Affirming they will get their act together...the community would fully support a decent sushi place!

This place offers terrible overpriced food. I ordered salmon sashimi, the slider, tobiko nigiri, volcano roll, teriyaki chicken, and chicken fried rice. Fried rice is waaayyyy salty and mushi, it actually made my mother in law sick after eating it. The sweet potato that came with the slider is more of tempura with VERY thin slice of sweet potato in it. The sashimi is much smaller portion than what I normally get in a sushi place and they dont taste as fresh as it should. The volcano roll although taste ok, looked like garbage food that someone scoop and serve on the plate. And it definitely doesn't taste like a volcano roll should. The only one that was ok was only the slider. I'm a big sushi lover so this was very disappointing and for $60 i definitely expect something much better.

Finally a better sushi experience in Citrus County. We came in on Saturday evening around 7. Place was crowded and the tables had a short wait. 4 of us ate at the sushi bar. We had a great experience. This is a new restaurant and they are working through their processes, but we found everyone attentive and polite. We ordered black widow roll that was really good. Shrimp tempura roll, cali, roll, spicy tuna roll with jalapeno and sirracha. Eel, tuna, and yellowtail nigiri. Edamame and a seaweed salad that was dressed lightly and very crisp. Overall the food was well made, fresh, and good presentation. For as slammed as they appeared to be, food got out pretty good. Everyone was working hard. The food is fairly priced and I would like to think that as they get some time under this new business that they will refine the service and menu. They deserve a try and support as a nice new effort in an area that could use more eating options that have quality and diversity. Good luck to them. We will be back.

A nice addition to the area. The food is average but pricey. Pork Katsu Don comes with a breaded pork over rice soaked in tempura sauce - diluted soy sauce like. Not a good thing for a meal - no vege! $12 for this during lunch, $16 for diner. The restaurant is open till 2PM for lunch. We came in at 1:40PM. Ordered appetizers and asked to put in the order while we look at the rest of the menu. The staff must be in a hurry to close the restaurant. We were told we had 5 minutes to put in the order! For a brand new restaurant in tiny town like Lecanto, I would not chase my brand new customers away like they did. The customer at the table next to us barely sit dow, he was told to order his food B4 they stop taking order!!!! I wonder how long this restaurant will last in this neighborhood.

Definitely can tell they are just getting started. The sushi was okay, but not anything fantastic. For the only sushi restaurant for many miles, it will do fine for the area. Service was slow, but we did come at 6:45 on a Friday night. Edamame was as expected, ordered 3 rolls: super tuna, pacific and modified philly roll (asked for raw salmon instead of smoked salmon). The philly roll was average due to the salmon having too many membranes. The super tuna was the best of the three, but could have used more tempura flake. The pacific-well make sure you scrape off the sriracha off the top, they used WAY too much, just a drop would do fine but the amount they used made it impossible to eat. Lots of other dishes looked good, so we will try it again.

So glad there is a great Asian restaurant in this area. There was a group of 10 of us and we had an overall great experience. The restaurant was very empty as we were there on a Thursday evening. I hope it picks up so it can be successful - as it should be. Our server, Stephanie, was superb. The service overall was great as we also had Erin bringing us food and assisting Stephanie (Not that Stephanie needed it but it was nice t have someone helping clear plates, fill water, etc.) Everyone was satisfied with the food. I will definitely go back and tell people about it. I had miso soup (yummy), vegetable tempura and the pan seared scallop entree. I also had a couple of sushi rolls - they were both great. I enjoyed one of my favorite rolls with cucumber instead of the rice (cannot remember the name but it was fresh and delicious - just ask for it - the roll with cucumber instead of rice.)
