This was our first visit for a birthday dinner and were very pleased. The yelp reviews had me nervous, but I'm so glad we gave it a try. For starters, the server, Erla, was amazingly attentive and kind. She really made the visit more enjoyable. Food was delicious. We had the pasta dishes; white clam sauce, shrimp scampi and shrimp/scallops. The large shrimp were a little over cooked, but the sauce and temp of the dish made up for the slightly overcooked shrimp. Prices were comparable to the amount of food. Salad was fresh. We'll definitely be back! Btw, my 9 year old loved his pasta with marinara.

A long established business in the Lake Worth area. Their success is based on good quality food in comfortable surroundings. Not the cheapest place to eat but an excellent option when you want something a bit more special. We did appear to be served by several different servers which I find makes it difficult to build a rapport with them. The only thing I could fault them on is that they got my side dish wrong but it was soon corrected. I chose the seabass which was cooked to absolute perfection. Fresh lobster is also a popular choice. They have daily specials too.

This place is alright but it definitely has it's flaws. I like that you can only do valet at this place. However not everyone likes that so I think it would be good just to have the option to park yourself. Secondly the hostesses aren't very nice. They are kind of snooty. The décor is very dated, I definitely think they need to renovate things because it just seems kind of gross when it all should be nice. The floor is really nasty and they really ought to change the carpet because its ugly and full of stains. Our waitress didn't offer us any water. I had to ask for some but I am happy she also brought extra water for my mom and her boyfriend as well. The water was in plastic cups which didn't impress me. If you are a restaurant with cloth napkins and you are trying to be a little bit more upscale then I definitely think you should only have glass glasses and not plastic. Who drinks from plastic? Its just so not classy. We were seated next to the fish tank which was pretty neat, they have this really cool striped eel in there. We ordered wine, my mom got pinot grigio which she loved, her boyfriend got the Hawaiian Cosmo and he loved it, and they didn't sell reisling by the glass which is what I wanted so I was going to try something else but the waitress came back with reisling for me instead and told us the bartender was in a good mood so I was happy about that, that they made an exception. They serve bread rolls at the table as well and this marinated tomato and onion mixture that has been soaking in balsamic vinegar over night, its meant to put on your bread rolls but I ate the tomatoes on its own they were soooooooooo amazing, we literally went through like 3 bowls of the marinated tomatoes. I am going to have to try making this recipe sometime. We ordered a dozen blue point oysters on the half shell which were really good. I think I might have had a bad oyster though because I started feeling a little bit sick and shaky afterwards but I really don't know if it was from an oyster or not so I can't blame it on that. But the oysters were a great size, delicious, and tasted so fresh! For our entrees I ordered just a caesar salad with shrimp, my mom got the snapper which she absolutely loved, she ordered it with steamed broccoli so it was a nice healthy meal for her, and my moms boyfriend got a caesar salad (which he said didn't have enough dressing, but was able to get more) and he also had the lobster bisque which he ate all of, and said it was amazing. Towards the end I started feeling even sicker and started shivering, I probably ended up drinking 4 glasses of water and a cup of their hot black tea because I was feeling so sick and dehydrated it was really hard for me to enjoy my meal, I really don't know why I was all of a sudden feeling so sick, so it was really disappointing for me. I ended up not even being able to drink any of my wine, which I felt bad about. During our dinner I noticed the old couple at the table next to us. They did not seem happy the entire time. They kept sending back their food and complaining and just looked really annoyed with the food and service. As they were leaving they started talking to us and said that they have been coming to this restaurant for years and that it's becoming really run down and not as good as it used to be and they recommended other restaurants that we should try. I think overall their food is good and they have an interesting/historic concept, but I definitely think they need to change their décor and atmosphere. Our servers were all very friendly, nice, and attentive so I really can't complain about that. But I hope this restaurant reads my reviews and maybe makes some changes because this really does seem like a great place, but the decor is just soooooooo outdated and it doesn't make it appealing to come back, it has the potential to be a really upscale place, and maybe it once was back in the day, so hopefully they can get back to that point again by revamping some things.

We have been coming to the Station House for at least 15 years..... It's a great place to enjoy Maine Lobster and know that it will be prepared perfectly. We love coming here for special occasions and for any time we want a really good meal.

It has been ten years since I last had dinner here and it will at least be that long before I return. If raucous noise and a sore throat from shouting to be heard by your table companions is your idea of a pleasant dinner, then you have found your spot. Bring lozenges! The lobsters were okay but not particularly better than elsewhere, though a touch more expensive. I almost sent back the wedge salad, which was an upcharge of $6 for a measly piece of iceberg with scant sprinkles of blue-cheese. The lobster risotto had way too much cheese and we left it generally uneaten. And the martinis were watery; left in the shaker too long before being poured. The service was relatively attentive/friendly. Thankfully our server had a megaphone voice so we could hear the specials. Why come here? Beats me.

I ordered a 11/2 pound stuffed lobster this evening it is our 42nd anniversary I love the stationed house so my husband made reservations when the lobster came I ate the claws first and when I got to the tail I ate one piece and it had a terrible smell of ammonia I sent the tail back with the waitress and they in turn brought me a small lobster tail I ate it it was fine nothing like the size of the one I sent back I'm more afraid of getting sick from the lobster tail I'm really upset this used to be my favorite restaurant no more they didn't even do anything but bring me a small tail but I'm really afraid of getting sick

The lobster. The kitsch factor. The service. All absolutely fabulous! This place is totally reminiscent of the New England joints I visited as a kid. I could eat lobster every day, and unfortunately down in South Florida it comes at a premium. I will never ever go back to Chops Lobster Bar and pay $60 plus for a skinny lobster, when at Station House you can get a beautiful two pound lobster for $30 or less. And honestly, to have that include a starter salad and a side of broccoli or cole slaw? Yeah, that's awesome. We actually got the filet medallions (on the starter menu) along with our lobster, which made a perfect surf and turf meal.

Was here twice recently once in July and once in August while visiting my mom down there - the stuffed lobsters were terrific and the service was just fine - we love this place and have been coming for years - hope they stick around for many many more since I visit often!

We've been patrons and free advertising for the Station House for over a decade. It is impossible for a restaurant to provide above average meals and service 100% of the time, and we have in the past, forgiven the occasional evening during high season that not everything was fabulous as usual. Unfortunately, tonight was our last visit. My wife and I ordered a 4 pound broiled lobster and were served a 2 pound lobster with a 4 pounder's claws. After bringing it to the attention of the waiter's assistant, waiter and manager. Everyone had the same story and they were sticking to it, my lobster, whose tail was roughly the size of my thumb was a 4 pound lobster. I allowed them to prevail and told them to charge me whatever they wanted because, it would be our last time there. They seemed to be fine with that. We will miss going to the Station House, but being cheated is just unacceptable. I hope this review is read by the new ownership and action is taken to keep this from happening again in the future, but for us, being cheated and unappreciated, both during the same visit was enough to wave goodbye for good.

I have eaten here three times in the past two months. Spent more than $800 over the course of these visits and I feel compelled to write a review. Our first visit was dinner for two at the bar. The service was very slow and unfriendly. The bar was clearly understaffed for the volume of business. This definitely impacted the speed of service. We ordered the Ipswich Clams as an app. The clams were all different sizes so they cooked very unevenly. Some were overlooked and many were undercooked. Have you ever eaten an undercooked Ipswich Clam. It is a very unpleasant experience. Sent them back but when they returned it was just an overall poorly prepared dish of one of my favorite things to eat. When a restaurant portions Ipswich Clams they have to give consideration to the size of them and portion like sizes together. Clearly they did not follow this practice. We ordered the Caesar Salad for the uncharge and it was quite good. Years ago this restaurant had a Lobster Scampi that was amazing. I was hoping to relive this experience. Sadly the Lobster Scampi today was a starchy flavorless dish and I have to believe that the Scampi Sauce is batch prepared and lives in a steam table as opposed to being prepare ala minute. Most of the dish went home in a doggie bag and was later discarded. My wife's blackened fish was well prepared and delicious. The fresh vegetable side dish was good too. A few weeks later we visited as a party of seven for my sons birthday. The food was average but the service was very disjointed and slow. Several people introduced themselves as part of our service team but no one really took ownership of our party and we noticed this. The calamari appetizer was good but nothing else was remarkable. We dropped $500 and felt mostly disappointed with our second experience. This weekend we tried dinner for two at the bar. Again the bar was understaffed, and again the service was inattentive and slow. I ordered a drink that never showed up and 30 minutes later the bartender realized that he had never served me. By then it was too late. Not only is the bar understaffed some of the bartenders are very poorly trained. We ordered the Wedge Salad (again another chargeable upgrade) and left much of it uneaten because it was drowning in a very heavy dressing (see the pic I posted). My two pound lobster was overcooked and my wife was disappointed this time with her Blackened Grouper dinner. As we drove away we longed for the days when this was a well run restaurant where you could get a good dinner. Sadly I don't think it is and we will likely not give them another try.

My boyfriend and I have been waiting to go here as we have heard so many great things about it. So we decided to celebrate our six year anniversary with some lobster at the station house. The meal started off decent. Although, our waitress seemed to be in a rush to take our order, serve us, and get us out of there. She didn't offer us specials, and when we ordered salad she did not offer us dressing selections. A bit disappointing... Anyhow, we ordered three appetizers... Clams, crabcake, and steak tips. All of which were very good. We both ordered the pound and a quarter lobster, and they looked very pretty when they arrived. However, I am glad I took my time cracking it... Because before I could even take a bite, I noticed a huge piece of black hair in my food! I couldn't find my waitress, so I let a waiter know, and he said he would have another one brought out. To be honest, I was so turned off, that my appetite had completely disappeared. So, I told our waitress to please forget the new lobster because I'm not going to be able to eat it. She seemed annoyed, walking away shaking her head, and went back to the kitchen to let them know. The manager did come over and apologize... But it didn't change the bad experience or the fact that our waitress was completely rude. On top of it, she was in such a rush to get us out of there, that she practically knocked over a plate and a glass of water tossing our check onto the table. I was horrified. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

This visit was my second to this restaurant. We went with a group after a business meeting, nine of us in all. The seating at the table was a little cramped, but no big problem. A good variety of dishes were selected by the others at the table and all good reviews from them. I had the blackened grouper with garlic mashed potatoes. The fish was excellent, cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were very good, however being a garlic fanatic they didn't have enough garlic for my liking. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. No complaints at all. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for someone who wanted to have a slightly more upscale meal.

We have been to this establishment a number of times. So many times in fact they bring our drinks over with a side of limes. Keep our drinks full and the bruschetta coming. We always sit at table 6 near the fish tank and hostess stand and are never overlooked. Food is great and if we ever have an issue it is fixed immediately. It is also less than 5 minutes from the house.

Had a wonderful Valentine dinner. We were 10 people and they all enjoyed it as well FREE bottle of wine as part of the dinner special was especially nice. Food fresh and hot. We have been here many times in the last 10 yrs, and hope to visit it many more times.

Gloomy tired and worn looking decor. The wine list is average, and the mark-up is aggressive at over three times retail cost. Our salads were pretty pathetic. The lettuce is tired looking and the pieces were absolutely huge. No tomato either...clearly there was no care taken in its preparation. Service was great, and our meals, seared scallops for me, and lobster for my wife were excellent.

Once again, we had a delightful dinner. Service was great. Very attentive. Table was ready when we got there for our reservation. Fish eaters enjoyed their dinners and since I don't eat fish, I ordered the blackened chicken scampi over linguini. It was delish!!!

This place is right next to my parents house so whenever I go home and know we're going out for dinner I immediately suggest I & J. Yes the decor is outdated and its a bit of an older crowd but I've been going for about 10 years and have NEVER once had a bad meal. The seafood is always fresh. They bring out hot rolls with a brushetta first then salad with a raspberry vinagarette. My fam likes to put the brushetta in with the salad to give it a little something extra. 9 times out of 10 I order the lobster scampi with penne and it is out of this world every time! Portions are huuuuge so I normally have leftovers...bonus. The grouper fancese is a close 2nd choice but everything anyone I've come with has been amazing. Prices area little up there but you definitely get what you pay for in quality and portion. Note: there is also a branch in Deerfield which in my opinion is decent but not quite as good.

No doubt the food is good but as for customer service....don't expect it. We have been customers for over 10 years. Called tonight for a take out order. Was put on hold for 18 mins the first time then hung up on. Second call, took my order then said they couldn't take a credit card on the phone....put us on hold for 9 mins then hung up on me. Third call....Tony, manager said....It's Saturday I am too busy to be dealing with your credit card order. We like the food but for the past year...Dining in or Carry Out....It has become difficult and insulting. Not worth the hassle with so many great restaurants in the South Florida....

The lobster is good.. Not amazing. The decor is very dated.. Nothing fancy.. Older crowd. It's a good family restaurant, there is a lot of hustle bustle.. Not a place for a date!

Had the biggest and best lobster of my life here - a 4 pounder stuffed with crab. It was amazing. Sides leave a little to be desired. At first they sat us in the back of the restaurant and it was freezing cold. We then got moved to a table near the bar where it was much louder but warmer. Our waiter, Tom, was fantastic and you should try to get seated in his section if you can. Five layer chocolate cake for dessert was decent but nothing special.

Best lobster I've eaten outside of Massachusetts and Maine. If you ask, they will show you the tanks (you'll be escorted) and let you choose your lobster. They have some BIG ones.

I used to rave about this place but recently I took a crowd there for christmas eve dinner and it was a bomb (second time ina row) , the food was terrible. 12 ppl at our table and everyone was disappointed with their meal and felt ripped off (it's expensive, so it made it worse). I'm sad that i can't ever got there again and enjoy lobster over linguini. they used to serve it with great chunks of lobster. the last time we went it was a small amount of funky smelling claw meat and this time it was great chunks of garlic with very little lobster meat. no need to skimp during the holiday people! aren't you making enough $ already? if there is a next time, and I highly doubt it, i'll bring a snorkel to hunt for the lobster. HATE BEING RIPPED OFF! ARGHHH! I gave it 3 stars for the good memories....

Lobster, lobster lobster. I think that's pretty much all you get at the Station House. They sell it by the pound and the earlier you get there, the cheaper it is. All lobster comes with a bread, salad and a side. I got the garlic mashed potatoes, which were as awesome as my lobster. I'd come back again.

Funny story, my friend was challenged to a tennis match and loser had to pay for dinner... I was just along for the ride because I not that great at tennis... My 50-year-old friend beat my 35-year-old friend... And because of this, I got to eat here... I was very thankful. I liked this place because it seemed to be filled with locals rather than a bunch of tourist. So they specialize in lobster, and I don't think I saw any patron eat anything other than lobster... Normally when you think of a restaurant that specializes in lobsters, you think of high-end swanky restaurants that require formal wear. Well Stations goes against the norm... Everyone was dressed in casual beach clothing, and the atmosphere matched the casual mood. Because I was with a local I did what the locals do, and ordered a 2 lbs lobster... Now, I generally don't eat lobster because I enjoy king crab legs, but I'm glad I tried it here. The meat was perfectly boiled, not overcooked or too tough. They cracked the lobster for you, which make it very easy to dive into the meat. FYI, no parking, only valet... and if you don't want to wait, just eat at the bar, it's the same experience but it's actually faster to get your food...

I have passed by this restaurant for years the outside along with the area is on the low side, however once inside it is a nice surprise. They have valet parking and when you step inside you are welcomed by an attentive hos stand. The menu is has every thing from steak to hamburgers as well as a good kids menu. I had the lobster special it was 3 small tails cut in half in a scampi sauce it is served with a large house salad served family style and choice of side. The service was good and prompt. I only gave 5 stars because the tails were so-so overcooked but a good value.

We had a lobster dinner and the three of us ate something that has been going on for many years.....the best lobster ever....for all you cruisers who like lobsters ...you will never eat it on a ship again.... Casual atmosphere.....Parking is easy and the evening is relaxing....Will try some other dishes the next time....

We are local but originally from Boston. We come here as much as possible. Everything we have ever tried has been beyond expectation. The atmosphere is very casual but we always sit at the bar. The bar staff is great, always attentive and friendly. Just cannot say enough about the food, the steamers are the best I have ever had. I cannot think of anywhere around Boston that has better. Same with the lobsters and lobster dishes. While quite expensive, the baked stuffed lobster is unbelievable, the crab stuffing, is real CRAB stuffing! I was always taught never to eat lobster unless it was boiled or steamed. WRONG! These baked lobsters are the best ever. Station House also has the best Blue Cheese salad dressing, heavy on the garlic, they should bottle the stuff. Best thing on the menu is the lobster scampi. Bottom line is this, if you want to chow down on serious quantities of excellent seafood, this is the place. The only downside would be the final bill, but it is worth the price!

The lobster is always fresh and tasty. All their appetizers are well made and delicious. Desserts seem homemade which is always a plus! Wait staff is very friendly. I enjoy coming here when I'm home to see my parents to get the seafood fix. Recommended place for sure!

I think the best thing I had was the complimentary bread and tomatoes. Everyone's lobster was terribly over cooked, rubbery and over priced. We were seated by what seemed to be the waitress hangout, and they were loud and annoying. The only thing that saved it was our waitress. She was very nice, with good stories. However, I would not go back here or recommend to anyone.

This joint has been around for years as an old time Florida seafood house and I had not been there for about 15 years. Being in the neighborhood on a Sunday night and my wife loving lobster I thought this would be great. Boy was I disappointed. We had clams casino and found a mixture of sand and shells in almost every bite. My wife thought she chipped a tooth. I ordered the lobster broiled as I used to do when I cooked in the Hamptons. This lobsters was cold and wet with soggy bread crumbs. Just sooooo bad. We asked the waited if it was broiled and he stated it was like I was questioning his competence. Ran out of there and never looked back. Oh yeah, one valet at 7pm with a geriatric population that has trouble moving well or as we saw, handicapped. Needed less wait staff and more valets or self parking would have worked.

The lobster was great. The decor is about as outdated as you can find outside of a movie from the 1970s. The staff was very friendly and kind. I wouldn't take kids here again, though. The kids' meals were VERY expensive and not that great - $10.95 for some chicken strips and fries, really?

A little pricy. The entrees were great, I had the lobster tail special (5 half tails with scampi sauce), my wife had the swordfish - double - yum! The calamari appetizer was excellent. My wife would have liked more salad choices (ceasar) and more veggi choices (spinach). The coffee was no great shakes. The dessert (apple pie) was very good. The servers were excellent (Marcela) The atmosphere was nothing to write home about. We would go back.

If you want lobster, go to I & J Station House. Yummy, yummy. Very fresh. Ask for a tour of the lobster house where they are kept in tanks. Was in Maine last summer eating lobster to my hearts content...this was almost as good.

I have been a lover of the Station House for many years and give the restaurant in Lantana high marks. The newest addition is in Deerfield Beach. To be kind the restaurant near the Cove has only been open a short time. I hope they eventually get their act together. The steak was overcooked twice, and although large was not tender. The veal dish was tough. The great rib steak is no longer on the menu. The manager was defensive and unpleasant.

I'm from Boston visiting family in Florida. My grandparents took me here for lobster and it was delicious. The casual atmosphere, the food, the valet parking, and the service was all efficient and satisfactory (the food was more than satisfactory). The problem I have with this place is the host staff. Three young girls, potentially high school students, crowded around the host stand. One of these girls opened the door with a clearly uninterested smile and a teeny tiny strapless skintight dress. I am 20 years old and I still found her outfit inappropriate. At the host stand an annoyed looking girl leaned and watched her coworker. When my grandfather cracked a joke she flashed a quick smile and immediatly went back to her pissed off expression. It was blantanly rude. Upon leaving the restaurant these two girls stayed leaning at the host stand. One hostess was polite and pleasant. She opened the door for us and thanked us for coming. Overall the place was good, but if you don't like snooty teenagers, I wouldn't recommend it.

BEST LOBSTER ! My father has a seafood business so I grew up on fish and eat it regularly. They make this awesome dish with linguini, lobster, shrimp, mussels, etc....... it's a must! The beef tips app, is also very good. My family has been going here for over 10 yrs and I don't plan to stop going anytime soon.

My boyfriend and I came here with a Livingsocial deal for drinks and an app and we ended up staying for dinner. Steve the bartender was just great. He made wonderful suggestions and even split the dinner for us. We had shrimp scampi over penne that was wonderful. The interior is a bit dumpy, but its a great place if you don't mind the décor. Can't wait to come back.

Great place for lobster. Have not tried the other fish dishes. I was disappointed with the lack of good wine options however. For a place that serves good seafood I would expect a better wine list and wine glasses.

So I went here on a first date and the place was alright. I liked the food, which was really healthy. They don't use a bunch of buttery sauces like most restaurants; I liked this because it was easy to stay on my meal plan. I would have to say that it made for a very dry dish but still very good. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, which came with 4 shrimps. We were a little taken back since it was $12.99 but I'd have to say that the shrimp were pretty ginormous. My date got the lobster and the waiter offered to crack it open for him; this was quite an uncomfortable experience lol but it was a very nice gesture. He joked about how this is his 4,000+ lobster that he has cracked (he actually had a precise number). We didn't order dessert because the portions that we got for our meals were very substantial. I ordered the Swordfish, grilled. After eating I asked the waiter what the portion size was and he said they are usually 6-8oz portions but mine looked more like 8-10oz. It was definitely a nice piece of fish. I don't know if it was worth $29.99 but it was good. My only qualm is the side options, I would like to see some other carbs on the menu; maybe a roasted sweet potato? That would have complemented my meal so well since it was a little dry and bland. Oh, and both meals came with a simple salad, which I put the complementary balsamic bruschetta on and it was pretty good. Overall, I left with a full belly and a nice experience.

This is the first and last time I will come to this place. First I arrived early and was told that I could not sit at the table until everyone arrived. A pet peeve of mine. The table is empty and you won't let me sit down? Completely asinine. If I weren't waiting for friends I would leave this very tired looking place which by the way the stink getting to the front door is atrocious.

Went here for our anniversary dinner. I had called in advance and spoke with Cheryl. She made sure that everything was just perfect. From reserving a lobster for me to the choice of a surprise dessert to a cloth covered table near the window. Server Kevin was attentive and his service was spot on. The lobster I ordered, a 3 pound female, was steamed perfectly and Kevin made sure I had real butter for dipping. The real stuff really does make a difference! My wife had the grouper Frances's. The fish was moist and flaky and the coating was not greasy. The sauce was not overly spicy and the mashed potatoes were real. The chocolate mousse cake was light and airy with a wonderful cake bottom and back. Even the parking attendant was attentive and friendly. All in all, a really good dining experience.

Six of us went to dinner there on a Saturday at 8pm. Lots of good choices. Wedge salads are terrific. Soups are so so. Each of us ordered different entrees and all were quite good. However, service left a lot to be desired. Waiter dropped one plate with 2.5 lb lobster on it. No one said a word. No sorry. No nothing. When asked if all was OK and our response was a meal was dropped and we wondered what was happening. The response was they would prepare another. Surprise, 2 minutes later, a lobster showed up. You cannot steam a lobster in less than 5 minutes. Our guess was the one dropped on was put back in water and then brought back to us. Still no one ever said sorry or offered anything to make up for it. Went here often even though pricey for the good lobster dishes but doubt will ever return again.

My husband brought me here for our anniversary and he doesn't even like seafood. We had a great experience and felt like royalty. We had three servers attending to our every need. I got the stuffed lobster and it was delicious! We also got some of their specialty cosmos, yummy! We ate so much I had to bag my food to go, but that was no problem for me!! I ate it all the next day! My husband had the steak and ate the whole thing! The service was pretty great and the atmosphere was superb! It felt intimate enough to talk to my husband, but friendly enough to laugh out loud! We will bring my parents here for Mother's or Father's day and be able to bring the kids! The valet was super nice too!!!

What is great is the service. For a city bursting with restaurants catering to an often snobby crowd, and delivering indifferent service in response, I am amazed at how gracious the staff at SH can be. On our recent visit, our server seemed to go above and beyond to ensure my meal was exactly as I wanted. Refilling drinks, inquiring about little details like how I would prefer my vegetables cooked, and responding to my own requests as if he would do anything to make the meal right. I'm not saying I always need or even want to be treated like a Queen when I go out to dinner, but in the midst of absent service here in Florida, this was a refreshing change. In line with the family-friendly atmosphere, we both opted just for unsweetened iced tea. No sass from our server about that one, just lots of free and frequent refills. Food, as always, was great. A meal at the SH always feels simultaneously healthy and indulgent, and that's precisely why I love it. It also means I have made ample room for ice cream at Sloan's later on before our movie. We had: Warm Buns and Bruschetta- Complementary The buns are basic, but satisfying, and I love the balsamic-heavy tomato mixture. Our server, of course, offered to bring us more, but I had to stop him before we ruined our appetite for the incredible beast to come. Green Salad with Raspberry Peppercorn Ranch This salad comes with every main course. It's also a very basic composition, and the dressing is little too "busy" for my preference (ranch fruit are a no-no for me), but none the less, a fresh start to the meal. I always request that olive oil and balsamic are brought to the table so that I can whip up my own vinaigrette. Steamed 1 1/4 lb Lobster with Side of Mixed Vegetables Lobster was perfectly cooked, and served simply, just as I like it. The vegetables needed seasoning, but otherwise, they were done to my liking- not too mushy, but not at all hard. Crabmeat Stuffed Twin Lobsters with Mashed Potatoes A lot of tasty seafood going on on this plate. While it certainly didn't hurt to pair the crabmeat with the lobster, that stuffing was satisfying all on it's own- it's no wonder they sell it in a bowl as an appetizer. And for those in the mood for a starchy side, the silky smooth mashed potatoes are a definite winner. No dessert for us, as we knew we had ice cream in store for us at the movies. For the two lobster mains and a couple of soft drinks, the bill came to $120. Yes, it is definitely a pricey meal, considering we only each ordered one course, but let's not forget we were eating seafood on top of seafood and there were a whole 3 lobsters to be eaten (plus complementary sides and starters). And with the stellar service we have had on each of our visits, it's no wonder we keep coming back. Thanks SH, see you next year!

The lobster and seafood here is very fresh. The Station House I feel is best known for their delicious lobster. It is truly a treat. I have also had their ribs here a few times, very tasty as well. If you are lobster lover I highly recommend this place, it is one of the best and hidden gems you will find for lobster in the Palm Beach County area. I read some of the other reviews as well about the lobster being mealy and off cooked. Maybe it just was the cook that day, but every time I have been here, and its at least a good half a dozen times now, I have not once had a bad lobster tail or lobster at all here, so it is definitely worth the splurge. Also, they do have these delicious rolls with this delicious homemade tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil dish to dip the rolls into. It is really really good but beware, you do not want to spoil your appetite, but it is definitely a treat for the whole table and especially for those kids who need to eat something immediately as they sit down and who are hungry. The place is also great to have a decent gathering of around 10-12 people as I often am with a group of this size when attending the Station House. Kids are also welcomed, just do not have them all over the place as this is obviously this is not fast food or a chain restaurant. They take their time to prepare everything here and it is always very fresh and very tasty. A lot of the dishes, sauces, dressings here are home made as well. They have a nice wine, cocktail and beer selection as well to compliment your meal and the wait staff is very helpful and informational. I really enjoy coming here, it has been around in the Lantana, FL area for many years and is always a real treat. The ambience and decor could be done up a little better, but you are primarily coming here for some great seafood and lobster and to enjoy your time hopefully with some great company. The Station House is definitely worth the trip and experience, highly recommended.

My wife and I went here for a nice seafood dinner. My red snapper over risotto was delicious. Her steamed oysters were overcooked, but her lobster was decent. Overall, it was a good dining experience, but it was a little too noisy in the restaurant for our taste; the tables were a little too close together.

Been there three times. First time with friends, then the second and third when each of my sons came down to visit. Best lobster I had in a very long time. I believe they ship them in from Maine daily but at this moment can't confirm. Early bird special, I think it was $20 for a 1 1/2 LB lobster, salad, and side dish. It could have been $25. I haven't been there since October. Yes, Lobster is pricy but you get what you pay for. They have larger lobsters plus a full menu of other choices but never considered even looking at them. Hope to go again soon.

This is my mother-in-law's favorite restaurant and for good reason. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the hostess. The waitstaff were very attentive without being over attentive. The food, while not cheap was excellently prepared and delicious. I enjoyed the black grouper blackened and the ladies both had the Maine lobster tail platters. Each time we come we ask ourselves why we don't come more often. We will!

Place is terrible lobster was mealy and had an off flavor (we order 4) for 4 people all the same size . They were hot on outside but cool inside the shell which make me think they were pre cooked and heated up. Not welcome at 40$ each . Lousy fries and a poor excuse for a salad (not enough to share) were the side dishes . Baked clam tasted fishy . The upside was we didn't get sick afterwards .

Just had dinner here. Everything was less than mediocre. The restaurant itself is shabby. Not in a good way. It is old, broken-down looking, furniture is dated, heck, even the plates and flatware need to be replaced. Everything looks cobbled together. A "salad" is a bowl of lettuce. I kid you not, not one tomato slice or cucumber in sight. Fish was overlooked. But worse than all of that combined was WE SAW TWO GIANT COCKROACHES ( the big two/ three inch ones)- in the restaurant, crawling up the wall!!!! We had finished our meal so it was too late to cancel but we won't go back and I wouldn't recommend it. You know, there is never just one cockroach....

Tanks and Tanks of Maine Lobsters!! I've been coming to this restaurant since I was little, it is just down right delicious. Please keep in mind that I ALWAYS get the lobster. Every time I visit Palm Beach I try to get in one dinner at the Station House. You would never know that it serves an upper class clientele by the outside appearance of the restaurant. I've never had a bad meal here and hope from the most recent reviews that something hasn't changed since I was there in 2012! That would be a tremendous shame.

It was delish!!!

our local friends took us here for dinner, I was skeptical based on the interior decor and exterior shack like appearance. The lobster dinner more than made up for the first impression

Quintessential lobster place! If you thrive on the pure lobster, steamers etc experience.... Try this! This is not your SoFla mall clone establishment, but real 'all about the seafood' event...

Great lobsters of any size you can think of. My family and I have been going to this place on each and every visit to West Palm Beach and never been disappointed.
