Food is really good! Service is really slow! I went for the first time for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! It was New Year's Day and not much else was open. I ordered the 1x1x1 (pancake, egg, bacon) my kids all had something different. Thee home fries came out first and were delicious. The sausage was the best I have had in FL. My husband got the chicken and did not speak the entire meal (which meant it was good!). My only complaint was the service. The waiter was very friendly but slow. Maybe it was just him, I will be back to try again and hopefully thee service will be faster!

The place is a hidden gem. The breakfast is good to great and you can't beat the price!! My family of five can walk out for less than 25 bucks any meal of the day. The service is slow, but very sweet. It is clean and I've heard the pizza is amazing. Great place for breakfast in my opinion. Inexpensive alternative to Dennys or IHOP down the road.

Not in the best location nor nicest decor but convenient. Great food. I enjoyed my Greek salad w/ chicken. Chicken was fresh and not dry. My friend also enjoyed his Gyro.

On a weekend night at 7:00 there was one other occupied table. There is a good reason why. The restaurant has a run down appearance and doesn't seem quite clean. The plastic covered menus were crusted with what I would have to believe was old food that had spilled and was never cleaned off. Wipe them with some cleaner! The plastic Heinz ketchup bottle was so old and apparently refilled so many times you couldn't read the label. Also crusted with old spilled ketchup. I would have used it on my french fries but didn't want to touch it. Mediocre Greek meal. Ordered the Greek Combination entree. Moussaka was OK. Pastitsio was bitter and probably gone bad. Did not eat it. Spanakopita was three little spinach and feta turnovers. They were OK too but not much filling in them and the filo crust was too heavily salted. Lemon chicken soup was OK but too much starchy rice. Good restaurants use orzo instead. Pork souvlaki was also too heavily salted and undercooked. Salad on the platter had some kind of sour tasting soft grated cheese. Not feta. Won't be going back.

Slow service, cold food, server was no where to be found, and the owner just sat there watching and listening to our complaints, only to give a shoulder shrug when questioned. Just not a good experience

This was my second time there and I ordered spinach pie and Greek salad. The spinach pie tasted like the frozen ones you buy at the grocery store and not homemade as you would expect. The salad was fresh and crisp with lots of feta but the salad dressing also did not taste homemade. My first time wasn't better but I decided to give it another try. The waitress gives you a stare that is very intimidating and unfriendly. No smiles here. There is definitely better out there.

We have eaten here once every other month for years. I usually have the chicken par. I have also had that Greek dish wrap in grape leaves which was very good. Service is good and the place is clean. Recommended!

I really wanted to like this place.. I really really did. But I digress.. My evening at the Friendly Greek was probably one of the most interesting dining experiences I've ever had. For about half of our meal the security alarm was blaring and they just could not figure out how to turn it off. One of the chefs kept running inside and out trying to fix it in an absolutely disgusting and dirty apron on all while having a lit cigarette in his hand. At one point it seemed they figured out how to fix the problem. This consisted of my date and I having to sit perfectly still so we wouldn't set off any motion sensors while the entire staff waited outside for the alarm to reset. That all would have been almost entertaining if the food was good. Too bad it wasn't. They served the moussaka I ordered with a side of overly salty Italian marinara sauce. I was just so put off by the mixing of odd flavors and foods. I tried my date's pastitsio - also severely lacking. Service was meh. You could tell the waiter we had wasn't a huge fan of his job and I could totally empathize with him given the experience I had there. He did get a laugh with us about the ridiculousness of the alarms and he parodied some events there to The Office (which was pretty entertaining). Otherwise, pretty hard to feel like you are getting great service when you are listening to blaring alarms or told to sit absolutely still. So needless to say, I won't be back here. Service, appearance of filthy food aprons/chef and the poor tasting food certainly determined this for me.

I drive by this place everyday and yet I have never been inside.. They expanded to now be a Restaurant, Bakery and a Greek Grocery Store... I still have yet to be inside but my sister came over today with a bunch of Greek Pastries.. I had a bite of both the Kreatopita and the Galaktoboureko and both very very good the Phyllo was very nice and flakey and they were cooked perfectly the meat in the Kreatopita had alot of flavor and the Custard in the Galaktoboureko was sweet but not to sweet.. So if your looking to dine in or stop and get some pastries its a good local spot i wouldn't say its the best but its 1 of the better Greek places in the area...

We went here specifically for the Gyro which was very tasty and the tzatziki sauce was delicious, the fries were also fresh. My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza and while he was not impressed I tried a slice and thought it was good, lots of herbs in their sauce and the cheese covered the whole pie. The waiters were very personable and sweet. The atmosphere is a quiet diner type with Greek accents. The pace of the restaurant is very slow so be prepared to sit down, relax, enjoy your food, chat with friends, and leave when you are ready (not the usual rush you out to seat another group chain restaurant).

I always go by so I decided to stop in. Very casual cafe/diner style. I had the spinach, feta and tomato omelet which was very good!! It was very light and fluffy which was a very nice change from the heavy omelet you normally get at other places. The Steak Gyro was VERY good!!! I would highly recommend this!! and the fried grouper was good as well and was a very large piece of fish. I was very pleased with the service and quality of food and I will definitely go back for more! I would definitely suggest stopping in for a bite, they have something on the menu for everyone
