So far, you can count on consistency of the food and decor wherever you go. A good place for larger groups. Okay service at this location.

The service was okay. It took 25 mins just to get our drink order. The salad was wilted. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Breadstick Sandwich it was extremely salty. This coming from someone who loves to eat salt from the bottom of the bag of pretzels. I took the stuff from the top of the bun and it did not help. My husband had the Chicken Scampi everything was great but the pasta was mushy. I think the kitchen needs to pay more attention at details and worry about customer service then worry about pushing food out.

Ordered the buy one take one pasta deal. Waited over 30 minutes for take out. Once I got back to my hotel, my second dish was left out. Not great

This is my take out spot, food is always good. I have never eaten inside but take out has always been pleasant.

About average on all accounts... Don't really have much to say. Service, cleanliness, food presentation were all about average. Not bad at all just not anything that stands out.

The Olive Garden. This is another place you can find everywhere to. The service in this one is a hit or miss. Sometimes is good and sometime it's not even worth a tip.

I have to agree with the majority here that Olive Garden is in that "used to be good" category. Prices have definitely sky rocketed, while the overall experience of authentic Italian dining has actually diminished. On a recent visit, our server seemed a little irritated at first, but warmed up during the meal. It was a dinner visit, but I couldn't quite understand charging 5 bucks for unlimited soup, salad, and bread sticks for lunch, and $11.95 for the same meal at dinner. $3.49 for a 4 oz souffle cup of marina sauce seemed insane also. We ultimately ordered two of the specials, an $11.95 pasta dish and a $14.95 chicken dish, both of which included ayce soup OR salad. Nothing really "special" about either dish. Two meals with soft drinks & 20% tip - $42.00. The $5.00 lunch special is a great deal, but there's a lot better for the money out there when it comes to dinner.

Before I start I must admit I do not like Italian Food, and I was not a big fan of Olive Garden Restaurants. However, my wife enjoys Italian cuisine so we went to this location 4 or 5 weeks ago when every restaurant except this one had an hour or more wait. Well, I can admit when I am wrong, and couldn't have been more wrong about this. The restaurant was fantastic! Excellent service and great food! This has become our "Go To" place and we dine there almost weekly. No it is not the cheapest restaurant around, but it is a Great Value. Very Good Food, Great Service, at a reasonable price. We will be back again and again.

It's Olive Garden. I don't know why I was surprised. I ordered the grilled chicken medallions, which were actually more like grilled "chicken" hockey pucks. The only positive is endless salad and breadsticks. Also that Italian Margarita was pretty delish. Maybe I'll just stick to that next time I'm forced to go here. Also, our waiter was really great and nice.

7 for lunch Sunday May 10th, 1pm!!!!!! Well, the wait was 45 minutes outside in 88 degree weather. One would think and expect a restaurant chain of this size throughout the country would take reservations........ Not the case.. Several people left to eat elsewhere because of the wait. No room inside the lobby area; standing room only including the elderly. No accommodations were made for the elderly or the handicapped . Once seated another 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order FOR DRINKS only . Once the drinks were delivered we had to tell the waiter we were ready to order because he picked up the tray and was about to walk away. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. Get a reservation system. I assure you sales will increase and people will not get disgusted and discouraged and walk away. When busy pay particular attention to the elderly and the handicapped. Supply seating for them if a waiting period is needed.

I think my review is a bit of a mixed bag. Overall, I think Olive Garden has raised its prices to the point where it's not even worth going any longer. I've eaten at this place on and off for years, and it deserves both credit and criticism. For what it does, it's a decent place to eat. But I'll say what I said about Red Lobster, only in reverse: Olive Garden is to Italian what Red Lobster is to seafood. It's commercialized "italian" food with a flare. But dollar-for-dollar, Olive Garden is charging what Carrabba's charges for their dishes and Olive Garden ain't even in the same ballpark as Carrabba's. So if I'm spending the same $, I'm not spending it at Olive Garden. I generally go there for the occasional lunch, where I get the endless soup & salad and I'm out of there for around $10-12. Overall, I'm done with OG. They used to be very competitive with their prices, and I understand inflation causing them to raise their costs. But now that they are the same price as Carrabba's, it comes to down choice of where I want to spend the same amount, and it's not at Olive Garden. There's a reason why they're struggling to stay relevant.

Actually, the waitress was professional but we were seated in the poor section. You know, the nook to the left where they place all of the undesirables! I have not been to an Olive Garden since I lived in Columbia, SC, some 20 years ago. I am now a mother of two and had hoped to take them to experience a delicious meal on a whim. Instead, we were greeted with snotty hostesses that looked at each other in disappointment before we were seated in an area that they seemed to place everyone who was dressed casually. If you have a baby, or if you are wearing a t-shirt, or maybe if you are a spontaneous person who didn't bother doing your hair, you can forget being treated as f they want your business. You pay the same amount of money as the people next to your section, who actually bothered to dress up to go to Olive Garden.?! I will say that I do not like stale breadsticks or the feeling that I had walking out of that place. Really, Olive Garden? I have a better idea of what you can do with those stiff breadsticks!

I know The Olive Garden chain is not what it used to be, but, I would still like some kind of acceptable service. We were seated and about 15 minutes later, someone finally took our drink orders, but it was another 15 before we actually got them. Then another 15 minutes before they took our order. An hour after we are seated, we finally get our Salad and breadsticks, quickly followed by our appetizer, then another long wait to get our main course. The food was typical, but extremely oily. Steaks should not be oily. Now we sat with a group, but had individual checks. On a check of 3 people, they automatically added a 18% gratuity. The server refilled my glass once, food took forever to get to us and they automatically add 18% gratuity??? I have a feeling, this will be my last visit to this particular Olive Garden

Had late lunch there on Saturday 5/11/13. Christine was our waitress. The food was good but the service was excellent. If you go there, ask for Christine. She is an asset to this restaurant.

One of the best Olive Garden's I have had the pleasure of dining at. The food was hot and delicious. The staff was friendly and alert. I really enjoyed myself here after a long hiatus.

WoW!!! Worst service ever!!! Server answering cell phone while on the floor! Silverware comes complete with someone's else's leftovers still on it! Had to ask another server for replacement utensils! Your salad served on a hot plate!! And if you the rest of your meal served to you, may need to ask a different server to get it for you! Not recommended.... Unless your the manager, your cell phone should be silenced while on the floor with guest. If its an emergency recommend the family call your work, that way the guest don't think even worse of your serving abilities....

The food and service here is hit or miss. Try the south side Olive Garden.

This place was pretty busy when we visited. Sometimes, that just demand, but I got a sense that the crowd of unhappy people was partly because the restaurant was disorganized and understaffed. The friendly bar staff (who were surprisingly lax about us sort of taking over and rearranging one corner of the bar while we waited) were much appreciated. Foodwise, this is an Olive Garden, so a variety of pasta dishes, a few beef and chicken dishes, Italian wines and desserts, all of pretty decent quality for a chain place.

Our party of two came in for two salads, breadsticks and water, thinking $12 plus tips. how did it end up a $40 tab???? Oh. Our bad. We started with the salad and breadsticks. The bread was disappointing--no garlic yum. Salad was great though lettuce was a little limp, probably from preservicing lots of salad bowls and letting them sit in their dressing. We added their lasagna fritta, an appetizer of lasagna noodle stuffed with mozarella, fried and served on a bed of alfredo sauce with marinara splash on top. It was a nice hot appetizer but sent a mixed message with the two sauces. Six pieces for $9. Was good but expensive (cheaper than an entree) . We ordered a side of asparagus $4 Roasted parmesan. Good flavor, splashed with balsamic but they did not trim off the woody stem. Had a happy hour pinot grigio ($7.50) which was two glasses. This threw the tip to $7. Decent meal and great service. It frustrates me that we have to walk (hobble) past many clean tables to satisfy some waitress's "turn" in a back room. This and just A-OK food, I could not give them a fourth star. (Also don't know why they need three hostesses standing around doing nothing. They could save money by perfecting a service system.)

Ordered Cappellini De Mare....pasta was WAY overcooked....like mush. Overly salty taste. Waitress never refilled bread, or salad, not good at all. The worst Olive Garden I have ever been too.

well what can I say where do I begin over the years Olive Garden has been a staple for after church or family get togethers it has gone downhill majorly every time I've been in the past 6 months which is about 4 times my glasses of our drinks have had food in them the salad plates come out hot there's just nothing exciting to say about this place if I had a choice of restaurants is this would not be one

Worse yet at an OG. Server was not friendly nor observant, food was not hot. Too long of a wait for food to be prepared, refills always late and had to be asked for. Ours was a party of 4 and we do not intend to go back to this location.

I'd give this place a zero if I could. My wife and I stopped here around 9m on our way from Tampa to Orlando - opting for normally decent surroundings/food vs. alll the chain, fast food joints in the area. Dirty reception, unfriendly staff, lots of wait staff milling about..we went into the bar to get a table and the bar tables were filled with dirty dishes, and tables that desperately needed bussing. Went back to the 'hostess'. We were told a booth just opened up and to follow a server. We followed the server only to arrive at a dirty table. I told my wife, "let's go"...I should have followed my instinct. They finally bussed the table. The server was very nice but the floor was dirty around the other tables, clearly no one had swept recently. My wife ordered a 'mixed grill'. What a thrill! The 'chef' came out with our dinners, he wore a filthy apron, latex gloves, had not shaved in at least a week - it was disgusting!!!! The manager here needs off their rear and clean this dump up! I would never, ever stop at this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GROSS!

Management can't plan ahead... kept is waiting over an hour for waters. Horrible service. Portions are ridiculously large (I ate less than 1/4 of mine). Quality just okay.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
