Wow! Where fo I begin? While visiting Lakeland we decided to go out for a nice meal... we checked eith the hotel, looked in a visit lakeland magazine and looked on yelp...After reading reviews, we decided to try here. The hostess was sweet, we were seated quickly, and she made small talk. Our server Meghan was super! From knowing the menu, and on the spot service to the excitement you could hear in her voice when recommending her favorites! We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wraps and the flatbread appetizers! I enjoyed my Braised beef and my husband had the catch of the day! Overall, the service and the great food along with a nice ambiance has definitely given me every reason to return on our next visit and recommend it to others! Well done!

First time at Grille Smith. We were there for lunch. The Nappa Salad was very good. Others had soup salad combo. Said it was great. Will be back, outside seating was a plus.

I reserved the back room for a private party for 24 people. WOW! The three entrees were feta chicken, shrimp and chicken pasta and oak barrel salmon with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The pasta got the most compliments and the salmon and chicken tied for second. I wanted a buffet and was pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite and everything was hot. Service was impeccable! I would do this again and again and would highly recommend Grillsmith for private parties.

Surprisingly tasty food and HUGE gluten-free menu. I loved the lemon feta chicken and the other three people in my party enjoyed all their entrees as well. Good service even though we were seated next to a large party.

Very classy dinner place in Lakeside Village, across from Cobb Theatre. Typically a very popular dinner spot. Food is great - lots of selections. I've enjoyed many of their food items, including their flat breads. Somehow, the bill always arrives a bit higher than I've expected (just a bit more expensive than believed). Enjoy!

They said 45 minute wait for our party of five; it was an hour and twenty minutes. They comped us three appetizers. We got two ahi tuna and a Thai fried shrimp. I liked the tuna. It took over an hour for our entrees to show. This is one of those restaurants where I have difficulty choosing an entree. Most items feel overworked and fussy. I should have just gotten soup and a salad. Oh wait, I did get a Caesar salad and it was overdressed. Sooo much dressing! I ended up choosing pork tenderloin. It was dry and bland. I should have known it would be; most restaurants overcook pork. The spinach was good, but it's difficult to mess up sautéd spinach. Greg had their fish special and said it was too salty and over cooked. This is the second time I've been to this restaurant while traveling. My impression both times: pretentious, overpriced and boring. I didn't want to eat here this time, but others in our party chose it. Greg said he's sorry and we won't eat here again.

I will never go back to this place again. The girls and I had a night out. So I thought it would be nice to have dinner and a few drinks. The wait staff was horrible. She would get everyone table that was seated after us. Never come to check on us. The food sucked. We came out better going to chillies. They will never get my money again. I wish I could add zero stars.

Came with Carolina Rapids u18 girls soccer team. A total of 26 people in our group. Staff was great!!! Good was delicious. We had called ahead made reservations. Tables and staff were waiting for us when we got there. They did a great job keeping up with drink refills and served all of us in a timely manner.

Fix the pricing on local draft beers and it would be perfect I dined solo at this location after walking from my hotel on a Wednesday evening April 15, 2015. I was greeted by the hostess and has to wait a few minutes to be seated only about two minutes went by and I was taken to the last booth located by the restrooms. My hostess said that someone will be over in just a moment to take my order. She had mumbled the statement so I didn't really understand her and asked her to repeat it and it was then that I gathered that it was going to be some gentleman. I was never actually visited by a guy server and instead was shuffled off through several young female servers before ultimately ordering the wonderful, "Rock Brothers Highroad" pale ale to accompany the chef's fish special which was amberjack. I got mine topped Mediterranean-style with a side of au gratin potatoes. Service ended up being still a little rocky when I received my entrée I managed to almost eat half of the plate before I was checked on. Ordinarily this might not of mattered but in this particular case my potatoes were actually served to me cold. She did bring out another fresh order that was hot and delicious. In fact, my amberjack was so good and prepared so well that I was ready to graze over the entire mishap of service and the beginning of my experience when I was visited by a the front of the house manager who explained that he was going to for the service that I received. I never complained mind you, so somehow something must've triggered him to come to my table and offer. Initially I refused because well stuff just happens in restaurants but upon his polite insistence I relinquished. I finished up the amberjack and my grilled vegetables of zucchini, yellow squash and snap peas after ordering another pint. For dessert I decided to try the Grand Marnier crème brûlée. This dessert is holy crap good! It's a kind of dessert that you definitely want to save room for regardless of whatever you order for an entrée. The décor is quite appealing and lighting was pleasant and comfortable. I was seated by the bathroom and amazingly it didn't "feel" like it was a bad spot. This location didn't seem to have any wireless that I could get to an I wasn't told about any either. I did spot a TV in the bar area however. The only real disappointment I have with this establishment is the fact that they price a pint of ale at $6.50. For a local beer made out of Tampa this price is completely ridiculous. Reasonably priced was dessert at $5.99 and the entrée at $24.99. But honestly they need to fix their beer prices. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely check this place out because of the incredible food but I'll probably attempt to skip getting any alcohol until the pricing is fixed. As a result of this I'm going to deduct one star.

$5 Dirty Goose Martini on Thursday nights! Our sever was amazing and super hospitable. We stayed after close sharing a drink or two while he did his side work. Food was delicious like always. I got the crunchy Ahi Tuna appetizer and my man got the Thai glazed Salmon- delicious!! Breadsticks were super yummy and I loved my martini. Didn't love his strawberry basil martini though... Kinda orange-y. We'll be back!!

I've had dinner here several times. Good food, full bar, friendly and attentive staff, and reasonable prices. I usually start with the Caribbean Pumpkin Crab Bisque, it's very good and I have not found that anywhere else. Everything that I've had (sea food, chicken, steak, etc..) has been good.

Great Happy Hour Drink Specials. This place is located in a nice shopping, dining area that was very convenient to the hotel that I was staying in for business. Good food, great presentation and the Bread Basket was so addictive for this Carboholic ! Everything tasted very fresh and was well prepared.

Grill smiths of Lakeland Is my spot in the out side mall of Lakeland I have not been let down there. At grill smiths there high end foods plated well and still easy on your pockets and I have not meet a bartender that I have not liked! If in the outside mall of Lakeland it a must stop

Food is good but the service sucks! Waited over an hour and a half for a table (with a reservation) because they couldn't accommodate a child. Will never return.

I had the Smoked Salmon Bruschetta appetizer which was amazing. I them had the combo lunch BLT . Lentil sausage soup which had the right spices and fries, my wife had the Chicken carbonara and enjoyed it as it had a balanced flavor.

There aren't many choices here in Lakeland and I pretty much eat at the same places every time I'm here for work. However, Grillsmith is definitely one of the places that I don't dread coming to. Everything I've had here is pretty great. I especially enjoy the iceberg wedge and tend to order whatever is on the special list. The soup is very different, but great nonetheless. They also have very tasty breadsticks and cracker-like bread that is a nice start to the meal. Don't forget to order desert here either! It's definitely a nice end to the meal.

GrillSmith is apparently the most popular spot in Lakeside Village for a nice dinner. It's been packed each and every single time I've gone, though we haven't had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. My first experience was with fellow Yelper Christine C., my boyfriend, and another friend of ours. We ordered the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was SO good!!! I think there was another appetizer ordered, but I don't remember what. For entrees, we somehow all ended up ordering the Filet with bleu cheese on top, and they were perfectly cooked to each of our preferences. For sides, I got their mashed cauliflower, which I was really disappointed in. It lacked flavor completely. Their vegetables were good! The next time I went, I tried their potatoes au gratin with my filet, which holy moly...SO good!! The Chocolate Decadence was definitely worth every single unhealthy calorie. Drinks wise, their wine selection is pretty good. I love reds, and each wine I've had there is well paired with my meal. Cocktail wise, they get a bit pricey, but that's their menu as a whole. Their servers are always really nice and friendly. Bartenders are nice, but so busy that sometimes it takes a while to get their attention. Ambiance isn't really anything special. It's pretty basic dark colors with reds thrown in. The booths are comfortable, though. It is pretty loud in there, which takes away from the "fine dining" aspect of it that their menu leads you to believe you'll be enjoying. The noise is comparable to an Ale House, without all the TVs all over the place.

The food was good...just good. The service was sub-par. The atmosphere was nice. I was shocked by the wait time on a Sunday evening. Our waitress clearly had more tables than she could handle. Every time she came to our table she had 20 things in her hands to bring to others. She wan't all that friendly either and we felt like she was rushing us. We started out with the filet tip egg rolls and Voodoo cheese fries. The filet tip rolls were pretty awesome but only two for the price was disappointing. They cut them in half to make it look like 4. The fries were a total disappointment. They claimed to have white bbq sauce, gouda, cheddar, swiss, andouille sausage, and green onions served with cilantro sour cream. Sounded great but that's not at all what came to the table. It was more like just fries with sprinkled shredded cheddar. They didn't taste bad they just weren't what I was expecting based on the description. I had the chicken stuffed ravioli, ,which really was delicious. Good amount of good for the money but gave me a stomach ache. (I know it was this specifically because when I ate my leftovers the next day it hurt again). Fiance' had the Ybor City Flat Iron. He ordered it sans mushrooms but they of course were all up in the steak. He still said it overall tasted good and came with two sides, green beans and mashed potatoes that were both good. All in all not horrible but not great. We might give it another try.

The baby back ribs were...dare I say it... ALMOST better than Sonny's on Thursday night. Scallops were surprisingly delicious as a side too. The veggies could have used some dillweed and needed pepper but they were sautéed so well that I found it acceptable. Again, the ribs were fricken fantastic A great evening out.

Ate here for the first time last night with a group of 13. Food was very good and we had a very attentive and friendly waitress. Would definitely go back.

Medium rare filet mignon was completely bland and tough. I have no idea what they did to it to get it that way, but blech. Another person at my table ordered same exact thing and felt the same way. Bummer. Mashed cauliflower was awesome. Thanks for thinking of us LC'ers. I rate this place like a step above Outback. Good service, relatively decent food...all in all, just OK.

My first table-for-1 dining experience EVER occurred at GrillSmith. I crap you not. Ok, fine, I have grabbed food to go or eaten alone at rest stops, but I have never actually walked into a restaurant and asked for a table for one. And, of course, GrillSmith was super busy. Couples, families, work groups, friends... everyone had someone and I had a book and a smartphone. I was going for the "oh, just on my break, so I thought I would just pop in for a quick dinner" look instead of the "I am here on work travel and have no friends" look. Lamesauce. I plopped myself up at the corner of the bar and grabbed a menu. Happy hour til 7PM nightly? $4 glass of wine, thank you. The menu? It's a chain, so it's pretty corporate and all-encompassing of every type of American fare you would want. I put in an order for a side Caesar and, for my main, ordered the lemon feta chicken with green beans and sweet potato fries. Caesar was good... large enough to be a bit bigger than a traditional "side". A bit too heavy on the dressing, so if you are mindful of your calorie intake, ask for it on the side. I go jogging and work out so I don't care. The lemon feta chicken was good. Again, heavy on the sauces and the cheeses, but I was willing to look past it because it was pretty darn good. The sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts were a nice touch and the green beans were fresh and crispy. I had no problem finishing the whole thing, and I wasn't about to take leftovers back to the hotel anyway. $30 for one with tip. Ironically, I didn't mind eating out alone. Newfound fun? Probably not. But not a long-feared reality anymore.

Great atmosphere, outside seating, good martini's, although a little pricey. However, worth the money spent. The food was amazing. We loved it so much we ordered extras to take home. The only stopping this from a ten.....(most) of the staff. Couldn't get served, once we did, it was great but then couldn't find anyone to pay. The bar wouldn't take it, the hostess wouldn't take it,couldn't find our server, no one would help except one guy who went above and beyond. Wish I had gotten his name....I will be back...looking for him. At his table...a five star is a sure thing.

Pretty good selection if beers and food was good. Portions on small side but probably priced right. And too dark at tables - hard to even read the menu! Jalapeño Mac n cheese was good stuff and my salmon med style was tasty. A lot of other stores in area too and diwn street from hotel so convenient Would give it 3.5 stars overall

Wonderful place to eat. The service was good and fast the staff was knowledgable about the menu choices. Good selection of beer and drinks. Best of all the food was very good. Very good. We will be back.

The food and service here are always excellent. I order curbside once a month and the food is always consistently the same quality as when you're dining in which is a rarity in restaurants. My favorites are the crab cakes, spicy tai shrimp, the pumpkin crab bisque, lemon feta chicken, chicken Milanese. My husband enjoys their steaks as well. For dessert try their flour less chocolate decadence.

  • Jacob K.

I was a little disappointed with the food here" I ordered a medium rare filet and while it was tasty, it was a little bland and flavorless for my taste. Also the quality was about on par with outback which I was expecting more than. Now, I could have just set the bar too high, especially since I was there for a corporate function and never saw the prices or even the full menu. I am willing to give them another shot because the steak was prepared well and the sides were good, just not as good as I'd expected. I guess I will see how much I like this restaurant after I have paid my own money and have a better grasp on the cost of the food to go with the quality. All in all I'd take Outback for this level of steak.

We were seated right away without a reservation. Our waiter was especially friendly. We ordered the spicy thai shrimp, babyback ribs, and thai glazed salmon. All of it cooked perfectly. Only thing left out was one of our sides. Great visit.

We sat at the bar and ordered apps and drinks. Ordered fries that we ordered. Wasn't on the bill though even. My husband ordered buffalo wings that were very salty. This place is supposed to be known for their steak.... Maybe next time.

I've been here multiple times and have beer written a review. It's about time for the great food and service they provide. They take reservations, there is two patios which are both pet friendly, and a full bar. It's not a long horn, or outback, it's a more up scale with the prices remaining about the same though. I have had the filet and sirloin and both are great cuts of meat. They cook them exactly how you want it. I like mine well done but not dry, and they manage this perfectly every single time! For lunch I've had the chicken Caesar salad, it's huge but delicious! My husband is a fan of the calamari, bleu cheese steak wedge salad, au gratin potatoes, and jalapeño Mac and cheese! (Aside from the steak of course.) I have decide that since I'm a fan of Latin food I will be trying the skirt steak next time. Give it a whirl you won't be disappointed!

Ive been to this Grillsmith several times, and there has been pretty good food. But I was extremely underwhelmed this time around. I ordered the chicken carbonara. Maybe that was a mistake, but ive had different pasta there before that was good. It was basically just spaghetti noodles and the white wine cream sauce, with just a small sprinkling of bacon, peas, garlic, etc. There wasnt enough ingredients and was pretty plain throughout. I snuck a bite of my dads steak which was awesome(I dont think you can go wrong with steak here) but his french fries were cold and limp. On top of that, our waiter was nowhere to be seen for atleast a half hour. We had all finished eating, luckily my family was carrying on lots of conversation to really notice but had I been on a time crunch I would have been extremely pissed. Overall, I really wasnt given a reason to come back anytime soon.

I think this is a solid 4-star chain restaurant. Have been here several times, and have never had a bad meal or experience. Nice ambience, good steaks, reasonable prices - what's not to like? Recommend the filet tip egg rolls, the brownie parfait, and you can't go wrong with the the filet mignon. Actually, I think theirs is better than the one at the Terrace (come on, you know that place is overrated!).

My favorite place to eat when we travel back to Florida to visit! I miss this place living in AZ! Everything is good here! For real! If they have the mussels on special, GET THEM and pair it with a glass if Chimay! AMAZING! Their steak is fantastic! Their Lillian's Brazed beef is awesome too! I could keep going! The salmon ROCKS! It is a busy place tho so do call ahead seating.

Six years since my last visit! Time to review. I attended with a large party, planned one week in advance. The initial hostess greeting was weak. She wanted me to sit in the lobby until the entire party arrived. (Her loss on drinks and tapas while I waited.) Our waiter was great, friendly and swift. The drinks were great. I enjoyed a Belgian Light Ale (Hoegaarden) $5. Many had white or red sangria $5. Plate presentations were very elegant. We had a divine Thai chicken appetizer--chicken melted in your mouth and perfectly spiced. I ordered "Lillians' Braised Beef" which was a madeira and mushroom beef tip dish over noodles. The noodles were not homemade and chewy undercooked. Disappointing! ($15). Another ordered a lettuce wedge with gorgonzola ($15)--she thought it was good but most of us thought it was highly overpriced. Another friend got a large seafood burger and loved it. Another loved her crusted ahi tuna. The soup was pumpkin crab bisque or chicken & rice. No one was interested in either. Another difficulty was the darkness of the place--they turned the house lights waaaaay down and it was difficult to even see to talk. This place has a nice higher end higher priced menu but not consistently delicious outcomes. My bill for two was $50 including a 20% tip. I can wait another six years.

We were visiting here from Las Vegas....what a great find!!!! Fabulous food and our server was amazing!!! Thanks Ashley for showing us that even in Lakeland you can find a wonderful dining experience!!!!

This was my second time at Grill Smith. Each time the company I was with was much better than the food. I tasted a dinner mate's chicken flatbread. It was just okay. Seemed like it was missing something. I had the 'very best' margarita. I think that is wishful thinking on their part. Again it was just okay. Nothing too special. For my meal I had their signature burger. Okay nothing special. Again it seemed like it was missing something to make it flavorful. I wouldn't write Grill Smith off completely but there are much better restaurants in Lakeland to spend my money.

Ordered a chk sandwich with pasta salad togo.....the chicken breast was total rubber and about 4 inches long, 1 inch wide and 1 inch thick....NTS, didnt fit well on the big round (delicious and soft) brioche bun...the only reason 2 stars. The tiny side of bowtie pasta salad was not good tasty and room temp as it was put in the carton with the hot chk sandwich. $18 ??? Not worth it

A group of us us went for a holiday lunch last week. No wait time with reservations. The wait staff was friendly and professional. All entrees served together. No awkward wait time while waiting for everyone to be served a meal. No special plant based items on the menu without customizing, a salad is a salad.

This was probably one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. I was down here for business and was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere and great service.

  • John D.

They have got to hire more people to work the bar or augment staff to help. Employees are very nice and working hard but we always have to wait a very long time for food and drinks in the bar area. Usually one or two people running the whole section so the meal can take forever just to arrive. Food selection here is pretty good. Sunday brunch includes a few unique items, though the crowds and short handed service can make it a hassle to dine. Great selection of beers, including some trappist ales and rarer brews for Lakeland (Anchor Steam, Bell's Oberon, etc). If they could get the ratio of bar servers to customers right, this would be a 4 star review, easy.

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Very modern feel. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The food is always cooked to perfection. I had the crunchy ahi tuna appetizer and I would definitely recommend it. Then I had the filet mignon with au gratin potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes are by far my favorite side dish they have. The sauce for the steak was delicious. They have a very nice wine selection as well that will compliment any meal. Its one of my favorite restaurants in Lakeland.

I enjoyed chicken Gorgonzola flatbread but the service was extremely slow. I had to track down the waitress to get our check. The food is always consistant and happy hour has great specials.

  • Christopher S.

Nice place, upscale decor, decent wine and beer list, everything slickly presented. Food is above average, I think a little overpriced for what it is. Longish wait times, but that can't be helped with the location and the shopping season. Overall, a very corporate feel to the restaurant and menu, which can yield consistency but stifle creativity.

During a trip visiting family in Lakeland, they suggested this restaurant. Grillsmith offered a variety of seafood, steak, and pasta dishes. I chose Stoli Ravioli while the wife ventured on Chicken Carbonara. Both were AMAZING. The vodka sauce on the ravioli dish was delicious! The bread before the meal was also very good. Staff was courteous and attentive. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.

It was our first time here. Visiting the area, went to Town Center for a movie with the family and was looking for a convenient place to eat. It's right across the street from the theatre. We weren't sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Nice, casual atmosphere, very friendly staff and super good food. From flatbread to bananas foster, it was all tasty. i had the crab & shrimp 'burger' and it was divine. Plenty of crab & shrimp and not too much mayo. When i asked for the mayo dressing on the side, the server was quick to caution me that there was mayo mixed in the 'burger' in case i had a food allergy. Awesome! My granddaughter (pre-teen) had the Asian Chicken and it was quite good too. Just spicy enough to make it interesting, and a very generous portion. Shortly after the food arrive, the server was there checking that everything came out "perfect". She is top-notch. My husband had the dessert, and shared just a little. It was a great surprise. Hope they open one in south Palm Beach County soon.

I found this place while traveling to the area on business. I was told that I would be enjoying "chain dining" while in Lakeland (no offense to locals), so i was pleasantly surprised to find this spot. In LA where I live, this restaurant may have gotten an "average" three stars, but it really impressed me for the area. (Although, I could easily see this place in some of the nicer areas of LA). Quick service, attentive staff, and good food. I'm in town for a week - I may dine here again this trip.

A solid 3.5 in the context of the area. After all, this is Lakeland, not Tampa. We had a party of 11, no reservation, and they were able to seat us at a big long table within 5 minutes. Big points there. We basically ordered half the things on the menu to share: thai shrimp, calamari, filet mignon, ahi tuna, spinach/ricotta ravioli, some crispy dumpling thing, and god knows what else. I lost track. The food was heavy on sauces and dressings. It wasn't bad but there were only a few dishes that would clearly outperform say, a Ruby Tuesdays or an Applebees. The calamari was particularly good, crispy with very large rings and a firm batter that didn't slide off the squid. The filet mignon was my highlight - served with a cheese crust, beautiful pink and juicy center, very lightly sauced on the side. Do not get the ahi tuna, served sashimi style with beet shavings, unless you know nothing about fish at all. Limp and vinegary, it reminded me of the kind of sushi you get at the supermarket, which is, you know, where sushi goes to die a slow painful death. Just go for the american classic dishes and avoid the asian 'inspired' stuff and you'll be fine.

We (my son and I) looked on yelp in a strange city to find a unique but affordable place to eat. I can say we were happy with our choice. My son ordered the Grillsmith Burger and I had the Portabelo Sandwich. Both where great but the 2 sides made the difference. I recommend the jalapeño mac and cheese and au grautin potatoes. Fantastic. Price $21 not including tip. What a deal. Arbys would have been at least $15. LOL Try them out. Directly across from a nice theater also for a double dip evening from the same parking place.

Well, I gave Grillsmith another try, mostly because a group from work went to mark a retirement. I treated one colleague and together we had iced tea, cheeseburger, shrimp cakes, side salad, and bananas foster, which set me back $36.33 before tip. The service and food were fine. Perhaps I'll have to add it back to my list!

Had the pleasure of dinning here tonight. Everyone in our party was suprisingly impressed! Our servere Nickolas, was wonderful. He was very knowlegable about the entire menu and very efficient. The food was fresh, well cooked, and extremely tasty! The beer and wine list was impressive to say the least. We had a wonderful experience. We will surly be returning!

This resturant has a great atmosphere. They have a happy hour from 4-7 p.m. The restaurant has a eclectic menu ranging from salads to salmon. One of the newer restaurants surrounded by a movie theater, tea shop and a do it yourself pottery place. Great place to grab lunch or dinner.

I give GrillSmith three stars because I really like them but many of my friends really aren't fans. Food is hit or miss here. I absolutely love certain items on their menu but others.... not so much. This is a great spot if you want to grab drinks and appetizers before a movie. I suggest their Lemon Feta Chicken, Smoked Salmon Bruchetta, and Spicy Thai Shrimp. They have excellent mixed drinks and a great import beer selection. Several imports on tap.

Great food, but fairly pricey. Business casual, at least.

Feels a bit like a chain resturant but has a great wine list, full bar and good selection of different dishes. I had a nice steak and my partner had the salmon. The wait staff were very attentive and the overall experence was quite nice.

I tried the GrillSmith on a recommendation of a coworker. She suggested I try one of their burgers. I was seated outside right away. My server let me know that I was there during "1/2 price cocktails and appetizers" happy hour. I had a red sangria ($3) and then a white sangria (also $3) and the spicy Thai shrimp ($5). I really should have stopped there, but I decided on an entree and boxed up most of the shrimp. So far I was very impressed! My server suggested I try the black & bleu burger (about $10). I thought the burger was outstanding (but a little thick), but wasn't really a fan of the sauces on it (they ended up sliding off the burger anyway). I ended up eating just the hamburger which was cooked perfectly. I had a side of fries, which were good, but I was so full that most of them came home, too! I will definitely go back, but I think it might become one of my new favorite "cocktails/appetizers outdoors" places!

Usually, we go to Grillsmith for lunch. Tonight, we went for dinner which was a disappointment. My husband ordered a Tom Collins. The bartender was clueless and made something nasty that was gin, sour mix and a lime. My husband explained how a Tom Collins is made so she could tell the bartender. She brought back a new drink that was equally undrinkable. I had the Tilapia dinner special. The tilapia was drowned in so many different sauces, it had no taste. Tilapia is not meant to be baked on top of creamed spinach and then covered with hollandaise sauce. The veggies were undercooked and cool. My husband had the half rack of ribs. He said the ribs were okay but the potatoes were over salted. I hope they were just having a bad night since our previous lunch experiences had been so good.
