The people behind counter act like robots when they talk to you.I went in lately and the same girl rolls her eyes at me everytime I ask for something.I dunno what has happened here since they first opened

So so chipotle, service is slow but overall no problems with food. Not my favorite chipotle location.

Horrible customer service, one of the girls there had a horrible attitude and she made it clear she didn't want to me there

Had an issue with some orders placed last week. Management was extremely courteous and helpful. Resolution was provided. Everyone is happy. Keep up the good work.

I really hate to give Chipotle 3 stars, because the food is still great but the staff here was unbelievably slow. I have seen this trend across many Chipotle's. I think management needs to look at how their staff is being trained and if there is a hold up in the line, someone needs to step up. I saw 5 people walk out. I was tempted, but love the food. I am not sure how long my loyalty to the food will hold up if this continues. I saw many people doing single tasks while 2 new guys struggled on the line. Also saw people from outside stores walk right up and get those order in front of everyone. Looks like one of her friends worked there. I will try another Chipotle's , but never the one in Lakeland.

The service at this location keeps getting worse & worse. It is the Lakeland, FL on South Florida Ave location. I love chipotle, but this store in particular is ruining it's good name. I usually place online orders and they screw it up each time. I paid for guacamole and it wasn't included and the bowl that was prepared was extremely pitiful in terms of the amount of food that was given. They forgot my chips on multiple occasions. I guess its my fault for continuing to go, but I will not go back to this location.

I love the food. but, they don't put enough meat on it. on 7-28-15 I got a bowl. I only got 8 small pieces of meat. Also, they need somebody to wipe down tables, chairs, clean up. it's always a mess. I had to clean my own table. plus the floor is a mess.

Saturday, Feb 21st, 2015. I was in the area and stopped in for a late lunch,...about 1430. This location seems to be hit or miss. They were busy. Restroom a mess. To be fair, I gave three stars because I have visited this location during the week, in the past, and the restrooms have been clean and fresh ready food. Otherwise, I would have given this visit only 1 star.

"Ooooooh my god. I love chipotle. Chipotle is my life". Smh so where does the good food kick in? Overly priced for a small amount of food. & given on a pizza tray.

Anyone else notice the place is a little dirty? Overflowing trash barrels and the men's room was messy . Plus the soda dispenser was broken.

I've always been a big fan of Chipotle, and this location is constantly busy, so they must be doing something right. However, I'm starting to think that this has more to do with the lack of options I the area and less to do with the taste of the food. There's not a lot of fast casual places nearby. The food itself is just okay. The service can be slow. My main complaint is that the food just doesn't have that much flavor. It's somewhat bland. I don't know if it's just this location, or if it's the company as a whole changing their ingredients to try to be perceived as healthier by the average consumer. Either way, it's still a decent option, just nothing special.

Having previously been an employee of Chipotle (not this location), I can say that it takes a lot to work for this corporation. This location just seems to be completely demoralized. I came in at around 7:30 pm (on a Saturday) and the moderate line was only creeping forward. I could tell from the attitudes of the staff that they just did not want to be there. There was a large hold up on the register where the cashier was sent to make kids chips because whoever had made chips earlier forgot to stock them (most likely scenario), which caused me to have to wait an additional five minutes to pay for my food. (Just in case they read this, it probably took me 10 minutes from the time of entering the line to the time of getting my food. Way longer than your goals.) There's nothing wrong with having a bad day as an employee, but when your entire staff makes the customer feel as if they did something wrong for asking for more food, as if it were a bother to them, something has to change. Altogether the food tasted good, but service is everything. I will continue to eat here in hopes that things will get better because I love chipotle. I hope this review helps point you in the direction of how to better yourself.

First time I came here, I was sold 100%. I thought this was greatest place within the area. The next time I went, I ordered food online and it wasn't ready when I arrived. They seemed to not have received it, even though I had the printed confirmation of them receiving it along with receiving my payment. I only get a 30 minute lunch break, so waiting wasn't part of the plan, but I had already paid and didn't really have a choice. After this, I didn't really care to return. I went back to eating at Moe's. I went today and ordered online. My order was ready, but when I opened the container I was really disappointed in the lack of food there was. I paid $7 for maybe a scoop of rice and some chicken? One thing I've always given Chipotle credit for is that they never cheated me out of food. Until today. I'm pretty sure I won't come back. At least Moe's gives free chips!

Line was long for a late lunch today. It was moving slow but wasn't too bad. Service was good except that they forgot to put sour cream on my bowl, I didn't bother to go up and ask for it on the side because they were so busy. Other than that, this location is as good as any I've been to!

I have just recently found this chain, and my life hasn't been the same. Cilantro and Lime rice is great and adds to the fresh styled Spanish cuisine. It is pricey but my wife and I can split a burrito and chips, and still can't finish it. Great atmosphere and fresh flavor. Will stop every time I travel.

I got food poisoning from here...BEWARE! Also, the girl mixing the guacamole wasn't wearing a hair net or hat! I wish they had better sanitary measures in place their other locations didn't have this problem!

$12 for a burrito and drink? Really? Granted it was good but had more rice than anything else. Yes, I have craved it many times since, but I can't seem to make myself pay that kind of money for something that should cost about half that. I guess they have enough suckers for the "Food With Integrity" nonsense that'll pay out the wazoo. Decor is non-existent.

I have been to a few Chipotle restaurants around Florida, and the food is always good, but the setting for this one is not as good as others I've been to. The design is a little different and smaller than others. The food is good though, so I overlook the atmosphere when I'm craving their food!

If you want fast casual Mexican food, this is the place. A great, simple menu of burritos, tacos, and salads. Quality ingredients and efficient service.

Think Moes but with high quality natural foods and no confusing menu to attempt to figure out. This is the best burrito place I have ever eaten at. Yes, they just opened and the staff is still in training but that should be expected from a brand new location. Per Deke's comment, they do have bowls, which is just a burrito with no tortilla in a bowl. This helps save some calories but this is by no means what they are known for. The burrito is where its at and should be tried. Deke give it a shot, the long line should have hinted that its worth the wait. And if you don't want to wait, you can always call ahead or utilize their app and just pick up the food when you arrive. You won't have to wait in line like everyone else. The food can be a little spicy but that's authentic Mexican isn't it. I love it. One thing they don't have is queso so don't expect to come and dip your chips in a nice cheesy sauce. Inside scoop- if you have a small child, or just like quesadillas, you can ask for one. They aren't on the menu but if you ask they will hook you up. My daughter loves them and its a cheap and filling meal for her. I highly recommend this place and would even suggest you never think about eating at Moe's again.

Good food, little pricey. Have had several good experiences here and will come back. Guacamole is good but not worth the price unless just craving it. Inside chairs are not comfortable and need to be changed.

Yum! Fresh ingredients, well seasoned & great service. Warning, though: there's always been a line when I stop in, so be prepared to wait.

Great food. We all got different items, bowl, burrito, tacos, all without complaint. Medium salsa is awesome as are the chips.

One of Lakeland's newest restaurants, it's bright and cheery from the outside. Once inside, it is "cavernous", little decor in shades of brown and waay too loud booming music. There are outside metal tables where one might not endure the noise. I was not greeted, so felt awkward trying to learn their operation. This place bases all its dishes on a one-price $6 "bowl", serving an open flour tortilla lining a bowl, or a rolled closed "burrito", stacked with selected food items of ones choice, served by pointing through a glass as the server makes your creation. I chose the cilantro-lime rice on the side but most just throw it into the meal. This was a great rice version--I like it better than the traditional Mexican side rices. For my burrito, I chose the light beans over the black beans--both were whole and not "refried-looking". Unfortunately, mine were ice cold. The restaurant opened at 11 and I ordered at 11, so perhaps it was my fault--but burritos were not made to be cold sandwiches. They used romaine lettuce, a diced tomato medley, a corn relish and guacamole as the accompaniment options. I ordered veggie so the guac was "included". If you order a meat version, I believe the guac costs extra. I chose the medium salsa--it had enuf "oomph" to keep my gums fired up a half hour after finishing. This was a fine fresh meal for a change of scenery. The music noise level will keep me from returning. This restaurant had little "ethnicity" about it so I can't compare it to places where I love Mexican foods like Tapatios, Pesos, the Taco Bus or Tijuana Flats. The food is healthy and fresh, and it's a "Coke" place on the main drag with a decent price tag, but there's not a lot of character "draw" for me and I don't like a ton of food all piled in the same pot like they do.

Hands down my favorite Chipotle restaurant to visit! The staff is always pleasant and sociable, especially Shauna with whom it is a joy to interact! The food is always fresh and if they don't feel it is such, they will immediately get a new batch of meat, beans, whatever. It is always clean and they have time and time again gone above and beyond for me. One time I had 3 pieces of chicken with grizzle in it, and when Shauna saw my plate and asked why I wasn't eating them, she immediately got me another whole order of chicken to correct the mistake...I ate like a king that day! Overall my favorite and will continue my patronage!

Not the best Chipotle, but at least it's a Chipotle! The food is consistent with all Chipotles, so that will not disappoint. The service is a bit "iffy", but my real problem comes with the new smaller Chipotle design. There is not much room to dine in, and the restaurant is very, very loud. I'm not a fan of take ou, so this keeps me from eating here too often.

Chipotle has really great, fresh food. The rice is addictive!

Somehow my wife and I have never been to a Chipotle before we moved to Florida six months ago. It was pretty good, although I'm more of a picky Mexican food eater than my wife is and had a tough time finding something to eat (maybe next time I'll try to get the burrito without rice in it!). My wife on the other hand was very happy with her tacos, and will definitely be going back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
