Food was good. It was busy and the staff didn't notice us sitting at a bar table. They comped our first round of drinks and dessert. Great experience.

Tonight was a first time experience at this restaurant for my husband and I. I was not impressed with the service at all. She rarely came to check on us, never brought us silverware, and our glasses of tea were continuously empty. I ordered the lamb chops which had a nice flavor, but half were over cooked. Also I found a hair on my plate. My husband's ribeye was delicious. The white truffle Mac & cheese was superb. The fresh spinach was lacking in flavor and looked as if it were swimming in dirty water. For dessert I had the pumpkin creme brulee which was okay but again lacking in much flavor. On the other hand my husband's coconut creme pie with the rum sauce was bursting with it. For the price it was definitely not worth it and I wouldn't go back.

Way overpriced restaurant for Lakeland. Went in on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 3 people in the entire restaurant. Generally restaurants around here are crowded Sundays with after church crowds, not here. In fact when we pulled into the parking lot, we wondered were they even opened, so few cars. I don't see how this restaurant could make it in Lakeland. I don't see how Bonefish would find enough clientele in the Lakeland area. The menu is limited and again it is rather expensive. We looked at the menu and decided not to eat here. So for us Bonefish is not our kind of restaurant, but that doesn't make it a bad place. It's just not for us.

Ive been here three times in the past month and the verdict is in,the training is obviously not customer oriented, always seems like 3 servers for each customer, yet they alll our to busy chatting to check on tables or do there jobs, food is below par for the price paid, dissappointing from the days i was proud to bring friends and family here for a great experience

Lakeland does not have a big selection of fine dining restaurants. When we're in the mood for high quality food and don't want to eat at the casual restaurants we go to Bone Fish or Grill Smith. My favorite appetizers are the Bang Bang Shrimp and the ahi tuna sashimi. For high quality fish I always order their Chilean sea bass. It's always cooked to perfection. My husband enjoys their lobster tails. An amazing side is their crab fried rice. This place never disappoints and their staff is knowledgeable and attentive.

This used to be a favorite restaurant of ours but the last 2 times we went we were bitterly disappointed. The portions have gotten very skimpy, my lobster roll had maybe 4 pieces of lobster. The servers kept trying to push a heavy bacon cheese sauce on my companion for a piece of grilled fish. When he declined the server was obviously less interested in our table. This is now one of the last places we would ever go to eat.

Went to dine here recently and had an amazing dinner. We ordered the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer which was delicious! It was some of the best shrimp I've tasted, spices were on point! Next for my entrée I got the sirloin with crab cake and garlic mashed potatoes, the restaurant added couscous as a side that they had been doing that day as a special. Everything was so tasty, and to be honest I wasn't expecting to like it so much- I ended up loving my dinner and wine. Left full and happy. Also their service was great, very friendly and attentive!

Ended up here (I want to try the non-chain restaurants in town) because it is one of the few places that stay open until 10:30PM on weeknights. The new menu seems to be leaning towards more meat instead of fish. I ate at the bar and received excellent service. It is one of the few bars in town that carry both an amber rum and a cognac. The food was good but not great; as I've always found it to be. it is now a better place for non-fish eaters. They seem to be trying for a fine dining experience but haven't reached it yet. As long as they keep trying you'll always find a good meal here.

Bonefish grill is always a treat. This particular day I went on "bang Wednesday" when they have their signature bang bang shrimp for 5$ an order as opposed to 9$. This shrimp is kind of what theyre known for, its breaded in panko bread crumbs and the spicy sauce is amazing! Needless to say I got two orders. I also ordered their baja fish tacos, I cant remember everything in it but its topped with a mango salsa thats really flavorful and kind of makes the taco. Service was meh, the 4 stars is for the food! Ill always come back for my beloved bang bang shrimp.

It's been 3 years since I've eaten at Bonefish and I had a much better experience. The food continues as a four-star good. We were there for lunch but not in a fish mood this time. I enjoyed the kobe beef burger and Asian slaw while my guest enjoyed the cilantro lime salad which came with a fun cylindrical presentation. (The only complaint being they don't chop their lettuce to bite size and the crunchy chips were flavorless on the vivid salad. Dressing was excellent.) My burger was perfectly cooked and just the right size (not overwhelmingly large) with a delish brioche bun. The slaw was stellar with a hint of sesame though I prefer it colder than room temp. We shared the infamously huge flourless warm brownie with macadamia nuts, vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce all the way to the last bite. Ten dollar entrees and a $6 dessert made it a reasonably priced luxury lunch. There were many fab choices on that dessert menu worth revisiting. (Jamaican coconut pie, key lime pie, for two) The restaurant is still far too cold for comfort (bring a sweater!). The music was a much better controlled (enjoyable) volume and nice selection of background music. Waitress service was prompt and efficient and the food came out faster than expected. A complaint to readers (outside Bonefish control), when you feel the need to wear perfume that can be smelled in a 20 foot perimeter around your body, please ask for seating away from other patrons. You make some of us sick. (Thank you.)

I want to give a fat zero stars but can't!!!! It was my parents 48th anniversary. I live in DC. I want to pay for their dinner, I would've bought them gift cards, if I knew where they wanted to eat. I've paid for dinner at places far superior to bonefish, I spoke to the girl that answered and she bluntly told me they aren't allowed to take payments. I was appalled. You think I'm going to call , give you my card on the the date my parents arrive, and you don't have any method of taking payment. What is this? Is your establishment this inept or technologically averse?. Where's management? I've eaten the food here mediocre at best, it will do for this town. Too salty.

Bonefish offers some unique seafood dishes for a chain restaurant. Always busy it can be a little noisy.

I avoid chain restaurants in my hometown so I can experience and support local ones, but sometimes you just want something specific, like Bang Bang Shrimp. Usually when I go I end up getting this dish in one of its iterations, and love it every time. My most recent meal was a take-out one. I ordered the Lily's Chicken, and it was disappointing. The goat cheese, spinach and artichokes were great, but the chicken was overcooked and underseasoned. Not what I've come to expect from Bonefish. The broccoli was broccoli, I eat it no matter what, but they also served me a spaghetti squash that looked boring and was. No seasoning, no attempt to jazz it up - again, not what I expect from this chain. But that was one meal. I've been here probably five times in the past two years and had one so-so meal and four good ones. Not a bad record, and the service is average to good, so four stars.

I had the egg white omelette with asparagus and feta cheese and tomatoes with a side if some cheesy potatoes and a piece of toast. I liked everything except for the potatoes. The coffee was good and me and my buddy ate at the bar. This Bonefish has the same layout as the one in Longwood I frequent on occasion. I like the atmosphere and the service was decent and the bartender was cool.

Bonefish is always good! I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was 2 thumbs up people! It was priced higher than other fish as it is at any other seafood restaurant. I had a house salad that was really good as well. The service was good, the food was good so don't drive by Bonefish without giving it a try. If you want a fantastic appitizer the Bagn Bang Shrimp is just AWESOME!

Come on guys...you can fdo alot better...another chain being run by kids... They are buiding a Bonefish in my hometown of South Windsor Ct and I have been telling people about it...but it needs to do a lot better than this one... Waiting list..OK...only fifteen minutes...sat down and ordered the BB Shrimp, and dumpllings...a martini and a draft beer... ... the apps were just great ...after we finished the apps and were waiting for our entrees the server brought our drinks...like twenty minutes for a raft beer... get my point? The entrees ...looked like they had been made a long time ago...had the bass with Romesco sauce...a very traditional Spanish Tomato sauce thickened to a certain extent with almonds... Will someone please get a recipe and then taste this before you put it on an entree??? A little stock, salt and pepper would help...and add some basil or cilantro...not traditional but adds some contrast and color. It is a "sauce"...not a dollop of bland red pasty puree...ugh. My partner had Tilapia...the new Womder Bread of seafood. It is so unfortunate that the cost of seafood has skyrocketed that Tilapia is now the most common filet you see...it is vapid, bland, texture-less and boring...I'll bet the procurement guys at Bonefish got a great national deal on this non green, raised in a soup of chemicals, farm raised stuff...it was all over the menu. I have always thought of Bonefish as a poor mans "Legal Seafood"...they have nice people...great atmosphere...but the quality of the food has to get a step up... Back to the drinks...it would have been nice if our server had at least acted like she was aware the drinks took 20 minutes...she just sort of dropped them like it was no big deal...and yea...I said something...she blamed the bartender.

Generally I love Bonefish and am especially fond of their the appetizers. Unfortunately for me, enjoying these things requires a level of competent service and that was simply not available at this location. We ordered several appetizers in preparation for dinner. The outing was a Birthday celebration so it was very festive all around. Things went well with the appetizers and we were ready for the next round when our server simply disappeared. We could see her marching around the area but for reasons unknown, we had become invisible to her. I was fine leaving but some members of the party really wanted their entree so we flagged down another server to beg for more food. The "I want to eat" people also wanted wine with their meals and that just added to the confusion. I'm sure we waited 20+ minutes after the appetizers staring at dirty dishes and eating ice out of empty glasses. When the food and the wine finally came the excitement of the evening was lost and our server had successfully squashed an otherwise wonderful Birthday celebration. I have had enough good experiences at Bonefish to keep me coming back but I think I will avoid this particular location. A good dining experience requires both good food and good service to be a success. I would suggest that Lakeland location of Bonefish gets it about half right.

The Ahi Tokyo was prepared excellent for my wife who is Hawaiian. I had my mahi lump lobster and crab sauce. Bang bang shrimp and Singapore calamari.

OMG I cannot remember when i have been SO sick! We go to the Bonefish brunch in Naples when visiting friends there and we were unaware of a brunch at the Lakeland Bonefish until recently. We were excited to try it since we like the restaurant. I had bellinis and the traditional eggs benedict and bang bang shrimp A couple of hours after leaving the restaurant I started feeling nauseous. We had purchased in advance tickets to see the Thersea Caputo Experience at the Lakeland Center Against my better judgement since I really wanted to see the show we went anyways. By 7:30 I was sweating bullets and salivating, my stomach was churning something fierce. I luckily made it to the mens room....barely. I stayed outside of the show until I thought I might be able to safely watch more without accident. About 15 minutes later I knew it was time to go. I hurriedly made it outside the the Arena and immediately began projectile vomiting Once the vomit ceased for a while we were able to drive home. I made it to the bathroom and continued vomiting and then diarrhea. I am certain it was food poison and this was my only meal for the day. Since the other person in my party had bang bang shrimp the poisoning had to have come from the bellinis or the eggs benedict. I will definitely be calling them today.

We went on a Saturday night at the end of Summer. It was quiet, we were seated right away. Our server provided wonderful attentive service; very knowledgeable about the menus. The Ceviche was my favorite dish, and it was the appetizer. The rest of the meal was really great, but you just have to try the Ceviche.

My boyfriend and I dined here one evening. I really enjoyed the food.Even though we rarely saw our server, he got all of what we wanted correct. It's nice to see a place where all the staff pitches in. Especially because I think he may have been new.:) I really had an enjoyable time and would go back if there was one closer to me.

Probably the best fish-restaurants in lakeland. The emphasis is on seafood, of course. They have specials of the day which are presented with the menu, and a children's selection.
