Definitely a great place to eat! Entire family enjoyed every bite! Save room for the Italian ice

I stayed on the beach longer than planned. So after the extra bit of cash for parking, I was left with a ten spot. Got 2 slices for $9.95 and was denied a cup of water. I sat there choking on my pizza. There should be a health department law requiring restaurants to provide free water to patrons. Very good pizza BUT. The cheese slice comes out nice and hot, but I have yet to receive a specialty slice that was hot in the middle. It needs to be reheated longer. Would have given them more stars but very annoyed with having to pay for water. I assumed they had a plumbing problem on previous visits when told they only had bottled water. Now realize they are just increasing their profit by price gouging on water.

5 Stars is hard to come by, but this place is pretty much the total package. It is by no means the best pizza I have ever had, but it is very good. Well priced, on the beach and genuinely nice service. They could easily charge twice as much just for the location.

I love this pizza place! There is a huge selection of pizza and the slices are huge. This place is no longer cash only because we paid with our credit card. The pizza itself was so delicious! The crust was really crispy and they are not not stingy at all with their toppings. Will definitely return again should we visit the area again.

This is a cash only hole in the wall pizza place that caters to tourists. It's located at the lake worth "casino" next to Kilwins. (not an actual casino, people!) Starters: The garlic knots were typical and drenched in oil and garlic. The marinara dipping sauce that accompanied it was about average. The slices were okay, good crust integrity with a slightly sour sauce and cheese. the house salad was a generous portion but the cherry tomatoes were actually rotting (black spots) and had to be picked off (!) The grilled chicken on top was great. One lame thing is how they nickel and dime you. You pay $4+ for a medium sized slice then they won't give out cups for water (the manager claimed the "water doesn't work" and charged $2.25 for a bottle). Definitely a tourist trap with mediocre food and elevated prices. Will NOT be back!

Sicilian pizza is the best you'll find anywhere in the Palm Beaches! The guys working there have it for breakfast every morning which tells you a lot. I won't have sicilian out again unless I go here. Great view, great pizza, great view!!!!!! Try it!

The pizza is the best. Crispy crust, awesome toppings...this is great pizza. They even have several flavors of Italian ice to choose from. The beach across the street, in view, is beautiful. I highly recommend this place.

I have been coming to Mamma Mia's on the Beach since they opened and they have consistently served up great pizza and amazing customer service. My favorite thing about this pizza joint is that you can get not so ordinary pizza by the slice. Nothing is more annoying then having to compromise what you want on top. I'm a big fan of the Pizza Rustica. It's HUGE and covered with almost every vegetable under the sun. All of their slices are so ginormous that unless you have large man hands you will need a fork and knife to devour the slice. I don't think I have ever been able to finish two slices and I can put away some food. You can also order the whole pie which most will feed at least 5-6 people and are around $25.00. They also offer a few beers and wine. The location is right on the Lake Worth Beach which can lead to huge lines out the door on a beautiful day. I prefer to go in the evening when it's less crowded and you can watch the sun set outside while you dine. It's a very low key restaurant so flip flops and shorts are fine. They do not accept credit cards so make sure you have cash handy. They do not offer delivery so get up off the couch and enjoy some great pizza by the beach and maybe take a romantic stroll after to work off that huge meal you just consumed.

My favorite gourmet style pizza. Mamma Mia's has such a creative menu of pizzas. It's a treat after hours on the beach to go fill your gut-piece with one of their amazing pizzas by the slice. Reasonably priced and huge servings.

We were visiting the beach from NY and wanted a quick snack. We walked by and found this little pizza place. The slices looked really good so we went in. There was a lot of variety in the slices. They had pretty much everything there. We had one grandma slice and one regular slice. They were both really good. Being from NY, we are quite picky about our pizza and this one made the cute. Of course, not the best, but pretty good. The garlic knots (or whatever they call them...) were amazing! We were pretty full after just the few slices so we couldn't have dessert. They had a nice selection of gelato and other things that looked good.

Mamma Mia's is located right on the beach in Lake Worth Park casino building, along with a confectionary, clothing shop and a restaurant which are separate businesses. A beautiful ocean view and public beach is just across a convenient narrow public drive. The ocean view is from atop a seawall, with beach below. Parking is nearby, but for those who have difficulty walking, you can briefly stop to offload passengers and then move on. The pizza is by the slice and pasta is available also I think, as well as cannoli and beverages. We had pizza, and the slices were large, crust thin and not soggy, ingredients flavorful and plentiful. Seating is inside or outdoors under an overhang or open air overhead. I thought the prices were reasonable, and the passing vehicles and persons were a constant pleasant parade on a Friday afternoon. Pizza was about 4 bucks a slice.

Love it!!!! I originally found this little pizza place in St. Augustine called Pizza Time and I had their Foccacia pizza. Which was amazing. I haven't had pizza like that anywhere else! Then one day I stopped by mamma Mia's on the beach and found that same pizza. I look to my left and there I see a picture of pizza time on their wall. It turns out that's their restaurant too. Oh I was so happy to find that pizza close to where I live. Now I will be in big trouble because I may never cook again!

Tried this place while on vacation and was impressed. Small place, good prices, good pizza, but I could do without the garlic knots. A definite plus is being across from the beach

As good a pizza that I have had in a long time. Authentic ingredients. Sauce that actually has tomato chunks. Buffalo mozzarella. A real pleasant surprise and one that I wouldn't have thought considering most "Boardwalk" pizza places.

$4 per pizza slice might sound like a lot till you see the girth of these slices. I almost always have to share mine unless it's like my meal of the day. I'm a proud meat eater but the roasted vegetable pizza is amazing and piled about 2 inches high with all kinds of yumminess.....if I recall correctly, there's broccoli, tomato, eggplant, artichoke....etc...all big fresh chunks....not that defrosted, flat crap you get at typical chain places. Not a vast beer selection BUT there IS beer and when you're at the beach just chillin out, I find people to be a lil less beer picky. Good casual place....oh, and homemade cannolis? Whoa.

This has to be one of the best pizza places I have been too. This is a must go to place at the beach.

Really good ny/nj/philly style pizza! Almost as good as 3 Brothers in Belmar. Huge slices. $7 for a slice of white pie and a drink - it's a filling lunch for $7. AND they have Philly water ice! Will definitely be back. (Fyi - cash only)

Excellent pizza with a great crust. Flavorful! Yummm! But bring your Benjamins cause they only take cash.

The food is very similar to what you would find in a New York pizza place. It's not gourmet or brick oven. The pepperoni pie is swimming in cheese and pepperoni juice, just like it would be on a Brooklyn street corner. Good stuff if that's what you're looking for. Prices are on the Manhattan side, but the slices are big. This is the the type of place that refuses to give you a cup of tap water, but still probably the best bargain in the area.

I'm pretty sure this was the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The crust was phenomenal- thin, New York style, really crunchy on the bottom but soft on top. Amazing selection of creative and traditional pizza toppings. I am visiting for a week and I'm only sorry I didn't discover this place sooner in order to go back everyday and try more kinds! I had 1 slice of the Tuscany (artichoke hearts, pesto, chicken, tomatoes, mozzarella) and a garlic roll and was completely satisfied portion-wise. My husband had a slice of the Brooklyn and one of the Pepperoni Mushroom and he was as impressed as I was (I should mention he is from New York originally and I am from the New Haven area of Connecticut so we can be a little picky with pizza!!) I went back in for some Italian ice because I figured if the pizza was that good they must know what they're doing, and it didn't disappoint! All around I was very impressed, and we'll be taking our family back tomorrow and the next day! I only wish we could get anything close to this in Montana!!

The best pizza I have ever had. Ordered the grandma slice and they drizzled some olive oil on it right before throwing it in the oven. They gave us olives on the side which was a nice touch. The pizza was so fresh! Came back a few hours later and tried the pepperoni mushroom and the Romano. Both excellent slices as well! Came to palm beach for a short weekend from New York and never expected to find food this good and even better this cheap! Definitely coming back to Palm Beach and Mamma Mia's is 80% of the reason why.

THE best pizza I've ever had (and my husband and I just moved from NYC) They are my best excuse to bike to the beach!

I have eaten here twice while in Lake Worth visiting friends. The pizza selection is great! Between my hubby, myself, and our kids we have tasted most of the pizzas. Grandmas is my favorite and I will keep going back just for that one. Well, that and they make a delicious cannoli! The pizza slices are big and cheap. The cannolis are around $4, but they contain a ton of filling. Not to mention they are right on the beach! What more could you want? If I lived in Lake Worth I would eat here at least twice a month, probably more. Seriously crave worthy pizza AND cannolis!

I was in there the other day and I highly recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for exceptional pizza/calzones/garlic knots, the Buffalo chicken pizza we had was fantastic, some of the best pizza I've had -- anywhere. The slices are huge and not very expensive, I wish we would've had room for more because I wanted to try their other specialty pizzas.

Good solid food and really friendly service. We'll often get a whole pie for the family and my son loves the Grandma style slices. They now have beer on tap and usually have at least one 'craft' beer (sometimes Sam Adams, but we'll give them a pass as craft). I love when pizzaiolos speak Italian too. I'd love it if they did hero's but at least the pizza is decent!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
