I have to chuckle a little when I see these four and five star reviews and understandably everyone's experience is a little different but I think some of them might have been enhanced with alcohol. I've eating at a lot of Waffle Houses and I understand their business plan which is to turn tables. Today's experience at this matchbox size restaurant was chaotic to say the least. I counted 15 employees working this morning and just under 20 customers. Admittedly one should eat only breakfast here that's what their built for, at most one of their signature sandwiches but never steak lol. One would think with as much staff as they have getting a hot breakfast and a coffee refill would never be a concern but today this place looked like a day at the zoo the employees provided all the entertainment and absolutely no service. Where do I begin - we waited about 15 minute to get a cup of coffee our server bless her heart stopped at our table three times to tell us she was going to bring our coffee then take our order. Well she was correct we got our one cup of coffee and couldn't get the attention of anyone that could walk and carry a pot to get a refill. Summary- Coffee - 1 cup no refills Eggs - Ordered over medium arrived shaking like a bowl of jelly running whites and cold. Sausage Patties - think they were pork and cooked a few hours earlier very cold to the point the grease turned white. Toast - cold toasted bread Waffle - very thin not warm enough to melt soft butter I cut in into four folded each over dunked it in the pre-package syrup and had four bites To wrap it up I won't be checking in this location again it was dirty and the staff lacked any training or motivation, hopefully they will go out of business and a mom and pop will open up at this location.

After a long day and night this was a pretty good place to stop. Prices are great. Service was great. Very sweet lady helped us out. The hashbrowns...yummmm! Kept seeing this place all over and kept saying I needed to stop. Glad we did :)

Whats better for a hang over than waffle house? Nothing. Anyplace where i can say i want my hash brown smothered and covered and the waitress know exactly what i mean is the place for me. Yea this place might look a little dingy but sit at the bar and watch the cooks knock out order after order its like you get a meal anf a show.

Anyone that gives Waffle House three stars or less should be banned from Yelp. This place doesn't pretend to be fine dining. In fact, Waffle House might have the best grasp of its identity of any chain restaurant out there. It's a greasy spoon. The prices are great. The portions are big. They serve everything 24 hours a day. Their hash browns are amazing and the variety of toppings is fantastic. As I watch the grease accumulate on the screen of my IPhone while I type this I know that I got EXACTLY what I came here for. Anyone that thinks this place under delivers needs to go create an app for stuck up, pretentious people with silver spoons lodged where the sun don't shine.

Hubby and I ate here around 2am after The Magic Kingdom closed. It was on a weekday and they weren't very busy; only a couple of other tables were occupied by customers. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. She made sure our drinks were filled at all times. We knew what we wanted and didn't even have to look at a menu to order. We were so exhausted, but hungry. We just wanted to eat and get to our hotel so we could sleep. Our order came out quickly. Hubby had no complaints about his meal. He ordered some type of sandwich and hash browns... no, I don't recall what kind of sandwich... but he'll be writing his own review, so you can read about it when he does. I ordered three eggs over-medium with white toast and grits. The only complaint I have is about the eggs. When I ordered them, I specifically asked our server to convey to the cook that I wanted the whites cooked completely on both sides with my yolks completely runny. Two of the yolks were semi-runny and the other was almost completely cooked. She offered to have them cooked again and normally I would have accepted; however, I was so tired I declined. As I mentioned, I really just wanted to eat and go to bed. The parking lot is well-lit and I felt perfectly safe. The restaurant was clean. I'm sure we'll return in the future, but I will make sure the cook understands how to cook my eggs properly next time.

For what it is it's perfect. Fast service, friendly folks, and exactly what I want for breakfast. And the price is right.

Ok. First of all you are coming to a Waffle House. Cheap food, but tasty. I ordered the triple hash brown with sautéed onions, ham, and cheese. Then I ordered the single waffle. Because, well, it's Waffle House. The hash browns were incredible. I added salt and pepper, and they were knock out delicious. Huge portion. Spot on with just how I like them. A crunchy outside, soft and hot on the inside. Get them. The waffle, made on at least a 30-35 year old waffle iron. Those ones are the best. The batter is pretty delectable. Hit it with some butter and syrup. You're in for a treat. Crystal even offered me a to-go coffee. Thank you Crystal! I sat up at the bar. I recommend this so you can take it all in. See everything sizzling in front of you. Remember it's Waffle House. Don't have over the top expectations. This one is old, needs to have a deep cleaning, and replace a few decorations. Update it a bit. None of this stuff bothered me, because I knew what I was walking in to. If you want good food, fair prices, and an experience, come here.

What is it about Waffle House? They consistently have nice staff. Over the years they consistently make one feel at home and cared for. It is more than being a clean, decently prepared food and competent service. They have a sort of plain honest charm or something. Unpleasant locations, but fine for a bite to eat.

Hash browns came out cold. Hair on my plate. Not as good as other waffle houses, but then again, it is Orlando. Too much traffic, they know people will come back.

Not my favorite! I was told there would be a 5 minute wait. It was 25 min. My party of 6 was seated on two different tables far apart from each other. So far apart that we hadn't even ordered by the time my husband and two other kids had already eaten and were done. Our food was brought out to us as it was ready. So my sons waffle came out after the other two of us were done with our food! Not to mention, that son is our slowest eater! We had to pay 2 different checks and all and the food was not the greatest! No return to the Waffle House for sure!

I know many people will disagree with my fandom of this place, but dangit... I freakin love their simple food and decor. Service always seems to be very kind and welcoming here. This place is a very simplistic, classic, dinerlike spot. I guess my only complaint would be how consistently cold all their locations are... I don't mean the food... I mean the actual temperature inside..."burrrrrrrrr!" Smothered, Covered, Scattered, Chopped, Chunked, Diced, Peppered, Capped, Country, or "All the Way"... however you like em you can have your Hash Browns the way you like em yo! They're open 24 Hours a day so no matter when your hunger may strike the WH is there for you. Seating comes in the form of booths or up at their "bar." There is plenty of parking in their dedicated lot. WH...I Heart You!

Came for lunch and got a berger and was good with cheesy hashbrowns. The cheese could of been melted alot more. The one thing that did bug me and not made me give it a 4 stars was all the flies roaming around. But other than that it was good, cheap and nice and friendly service.

I know it's a Waffle House, but 5 servers standing around while the new waitress stumbles, doesn't impress me. If you see patrons who haven't even been brought water, let alone have there order taken, stop standing around and Pitch in, take the order and help your fellow waitress out. We walked out without being severed and have no plans to ever return to this location again

Great for a quick breakfast on the road. overall It's a waffle house. The food was good and came up quick. Server wasn't the friendliest, but was ok. Always have to get a waffle no matter what time of day!

Heaven !! Living in Vegas we dont get the tastiness that is Waffle House. So upon landing in Florida the first thing I do is beeline to the nearest location. Quick seating, friendly staff, tasty food ! what more can I ask for. I think part of my love of WH is the fact that I dont get to eat it often and frequently feel nostalgic over my first bite of hash browns. Till next time old friend, till next time!

Is the food great? no. But it is quick and when you want a nice big greasy breakfast with friendly service its the best option. Plus they have the All Star special which has everything I ever want; eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, and a waffle. The only thing I didn't like was the syrup. It was way too sweet and tasted more like honey than anything else.

This is a diner. I had eggs over hard and a waffle. It was definately the best waffle I have ever had, but I have only had homemade waffles a couple of times. Friendly service and inexpensive. The tables were sticky, but so is ever other diner I've ever been to. Must be all that maple syrup.

Great place to eat if you are hungry and can't find something open. These places are dives but the food is great and it's pretty inexpensive. The flagship waffles are amazing and the breakfast combos are a great deal. I would give it more stars if they weren't shady looking or in scary neighborhoods. Our server however was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. She was very hospitable!

Inexpensive and friendly service. Can't go wrong. I stop here whenever I'm up this way. Michelle is a hoot.

What more can you say about Waffle House? Definitely better than Denny's, ridiculously fast service, and good food. Why the three stars? I guess every time I've been in one, I feel eerie by the ambiance. This time around, even more so by our waiter. Eeek!

The hubby and I stopped in here on our resent Disney trip. The Magic Kingdom was open late we took advantage, but couldn't find anywhere in the park we wanted to eat that wasn't completely crowded. So we headed over to The Polynesian Resort since we knew they had a late night deli. We weren't impressed with what they had so since we had a car we decided to venture off-site. We figured we would just end up with some typical fast food but we saw this Waffle House first. Since we love WH it was a no-brainer. It was after midnight so the place was not busy at all. We had wonderful service from three staff members and the food, as always, was great. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Why is it that enjoy this place so much ? Could be the no frills, basic, breakfast food all the time ? I think so. This is where I recharge my batteries before heading out to long lines, unbearable heat, stupid crowds and crying children. Can very well be considered my home plate. A good portion of pancakes and some eggs over easy with bacon, all washed down with good old American coffee. It just doesn't get any more American than this, and I think it is A - OK.

No more Disney discount... but still a solid meal, quick and fast. That is, if you don't go on a Saturday or Sunday morning!

Waffle House is a must stop whenever I travel to Florida since there aren't any in Michigan. I love spotting the yellow sign and the tony little buildings. I love their pecan waffles and hash browns. Simple and delicious. I recommend anyone who hasn't experienced a Waffle House to try one.

Friendly and efficient staff. Relatively cheap prices and good food. They did under cook my waffle (one of the shallow waffles no less) ironically and being in a rush I didn't send it back. It's fun to sit at the counter and watch the action on the grill. I do like the hash browns with cheese and onions in particular

While on vacation I had to try a place with a name like "waffle house". Food was "eh".... Nothing special. I had steak and eggs and a waffle. Steak was tiny and uneventful. Waffle was descent. But with this place, the term "you get what your pay for" holds true. They could be a little cleaner. Tables and silverware were dirty.

My wife and I returned last night. Food was just the usual, but I continued to be impressed with the service here. Even at 1:30am, they are very attentive and quick with a smile. I like that. I left a little regretful that I had ate so much, which is a sure since of a good meal.

Just left there after standing for five minutes waiting to be seated. All four employees ignored us standing there and two tables were open but had not been cleaned off. We left feeling this was gonna to be a bad service restaurant!

It was in the midst of tourist place. It was small and popular with tourists. The kitchen/grill was next to counter. We have been here a few times with last visit 2 years ago. For better or worse, we recognized the same white friendly waiter. I didn't recall my experience last few times before Yelp was born. Most likely it's ordinary. It's busy today as before... a bit chaotic on crowd control. We were seated and asked to get up, and got seated at same table within minutes. The staffs were friendly but our waitress was a "blonde" metaphorically speaking. Asked but not listened. At one time we thought there's a lunch show. The kitchen stuffs were screaming at the "blonde", short of throwing and breaking dishes. The foods? They are edible. Home cooking... The price? They slashed the All-star breakfast special from $10 to $7. It came with 1 toast, grits or potatoes, thin waffle, 1 meat (ham, bacon, sausage), and 2 eggs. I don't know about you, but that's $5 set at similar chains and mom/pop ones. So diners, enjoy your breakfast if you enjoy spending money like you're in trailer park paradise.

I spent 10 days in Florida with my family in June 2011. We ate at Waffle House 3 times while we were vacationing. Their prices are very reasonable. We fed our family of 7 for about $50. You have to get the Waffles. The name is WAFFLE HOUSE. You can't go wrong with waffles. Our server was really quick and he remembered us each time we came in. I wish they had a Waffle House in California.

Good old fashioned waffle house near DisneyWorld. Came here on the last day before leaving town when I actually had time to sit down and enjoy breakfast. My friend is a lover of breakfast so we definitely made it a point to swing by before we left. The food is cheap and good. I was happy with everything I ordered here and the waitress was on point. I ordered one of the specials which came with a waffle, and full breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. The eggs were perfectly how I like mine- scrambled lightly with crisp bacon. The whole wheat toast was not quite whole wheat but I forgive that. The waffle was delcious. My friend ordered the chocolate chip waffle and was very happy. Overall a good experience.
