I love the burritos at this place. The guy that cooks gets down and dirty making them. The lady cashier has salsa bar always fill, bathrooms clean and lobby clean as well. She usually opens about 9:30 am. If you go weekend be sure your food is going to take longer to come out, your order my go to the wrong person and your drinks to be the last thing to get at the table, but the food will be great. Weekends is usually open at 11:00 am.

My fiance actually picked this place out and I was so surprised and happy after lunch. The food was absolutely amazing. Sorry anyone who days that this isn't real Mexican food is insane. The tortillas are great and I don't even like corn ones. Another thing that I loved that is probably not for everyone is that they offered belly tongue and brain. Usually when people don't take the time or afford to cook these properly they're absolutely disgusting. Which was my experience prior but after trying them here completely different experience. Absolutely delicious so if you're feeling a little adventurous definitely try! They also have little mexican candies at the corner we picked some up before we left.

I stopped here by coincidence and can't wait to go back. This is the real thing!! I suddenly felt like I was in Mexico's City typical taquerias. The flavor the taco fillings have is extraordinary. Do not let the size or look of the joint discourage you. It is clean and their food is meticulously prepared. For $1.25 a taco I ended buying 10 of each to go. Don't know when I will able to go back since is a long drive, but the address is saved in my GPS!!

The food is really good. I go here quite often but when ever the owners daughter is there she provides bad service. She brought up the past on one of my previous order dates in the pass accusing me of making the same mistake again When I order the same thing all the times never different. When ordering drinks with out ice she makes faces as to be displeased in some way. Still will go again but will make sure I repeat my self to her a few times to get my order done right

How did I forget to review this lovely little place I ate at while in Orlando a few weeks ago? Well- my cousin recommended this place. And because she's a picky eater (which in my family doesn't mean we don't like to eat... on the contrary we are generally over-eaters, it means we ONLY like to eat food worth the calories), I trusted her! You must order before sitting. All styles of salsa (pico de gallo, salsa verde, etc) are available to you self-serve in addition to a cool cucumber salad! YUM. Needless to say, I OD'ed on the cucumbers... such a great accompaniment to the spiciness that could be Mexican food. There are flat screen t.v.s practically everywhere in this not-so-big establishment- AND of course they're ALL playing the same telenovela. Too hilarious. This was pretty much the highlight of our high-caloric dinner.... we laughed SO HARD at these novelas. I mean, yes we speak Spanish but you don't even need to to fully understand the ridiculousness of it all. Food was great! Beef sope was divine! YUM! Tacos was also on point. I was stuffed beyond belief and our food combined cost only a mere $10! AHH. Gotta love it. A definite must-try if you like authentic fatty Mexican food at a cheap price!

After reading all this reviews I can tell none of you have been in a real Mexican restaurant! The food is not bad but the tacos are too small, you have to buy 2 in order to feel that you're eating 1 taco.

Bangin' food at a great cost. This place definitely hit the spot for some good Mexican food. I'm always searching for a good local spot and I found one. I will be a returning customer.

Quite tasty! Everything we tried, from the carne asada tacos, to the tinga burrito and quesadillas carnitas, were yummy. The salsa was a good accompaniment, just the right level of spicy. Everyone (except us) that came in were Hispanic, which leads me to believe this is a popular place for locals. Simple no-frills Mexican grub for a good price...would definitely return!

Tried a ham and egg burrito for breakfast one morning. It was pretty good, and huge. A couple of nights later, my son and his friend went by, and they got some tacos and a steak burrito. This place is in a small shopping center complex. Between Wal-Mart and Pirates Island minature golf.

Best little Mexican tacos ever. I tend to go there and order at least 20 of them. They are super tiny and are so good. The quesadillas are huge. They have a sauce bar and you can put as much cilantro and onions as ya want. Oh yeah!! Hot sauces are awesome too. True Mexican tacos. Hard to find around here.

I lived in Mexico for several years, this is by far the most authentic place I have found in central Florida for Mexican food. Yummmmmmmm Must try!

Definitely a great little Mexican gem that I'm glad I took a chance on. I'd never had a huarache until eating at Taqueria Casas -- and it was OUTSTANDING! I went for the "tinga" or marinated chicken and it did not disappoint. The huarache base was a delicious thick corn tortilla and then stacked with creamy refried beans, perfectly spiced chicken, lettuce, crema and cojita cheese. It's hard for me to try anything else on the menu now!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
