Meh. I've experienced better. I probably shouldn't leave a negative review based on 1 visit, but it is so different from all the other ones I've been so I feel the attention is needed Personally I'm a big fan of Smokey Bones. However the baby back rib is somewhat disappointing. The meat is fatty, under-cooked and lacks the smokey BBQ flavor (I almost want to say it tasted more like oven cooked then grill finished, then smear coated with BBQ sauce. I hope it's a one-of case but I don't think this one location should bring down the reputation of the whole chain.

After visiting this location a few more times, I felt the need to update my review. The service has been very good on subsequent visits and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is sometimes a wait to get a table because it is in a very tourist area. When we arrived last night there was a twenty minute wait to get a table, so we sat at the bar for an adult beverage while we waited. The bartender Jeremy was very attentive and at one point a small glass of chocolate milk shake with a straw sticking out of it slid up in front of Sab. He had just made several shakes for a table and out of the blue gave her the leftovers. I thought it was a nice touch. We had come for the prime rib which they were out of, which was a little disappointing. I shouldn't have been surprised. Their prime rib is delicious and the cuts are huge. I have only been able to try it once in four tries. Change can be good. Our table was ready promptly and we were seated. After much discussion of what to choose, I decided on the create your own combo because I wanted it all. Smoked beef brisket, Hand pulled pork, BBQ chicken breast. Loaded baked potato, onion rings, and steamed broccoli for sides. The brisket was very good, the pulled pork was heavenly, the chicken was very tasty but a little dry. The potato was better than average, the broccoli was delicious, fresh, and steamed to perfection. I order as a side with everything I get here. It is always done perfect. The onion rings were very good and the light batter had almost a tempura quality to it. Our server Liz was very attentive and did a great job. The prices are good for the area. My biggest complaint would probably be that frequently the music in the dining room is very loud. I am not a big fan of shouting at my server or the people I am dining with. It seems to have an identity crisis, trying to be both a sports bar and a BBQ restaurant. All in all I have enjoyed my last few visits. They have a great free loyalty program and are open till 2AM.

I do enjoy Smokey Bones but I am not a fan of this one. My family and I went not too long ago to this disappointment of the chain. Where to start? Server: Terrible. I get more personality out of a rock than I got from him. If you don't like your job at least pretend to. False motivation is still motivation. My drink went dry several times and that does not make me a happy camper. I also do not communicate using grunts because I believe we as a species have passed that phase. Food: Sub-par and that is generous. If I am paying almost $20 for a rack of ribs I would expect it to be cooked properly and taste better. Sub-par, that is all I have to say. Will I go back? No, I would rather drive the extra 15-20 mins and shell out the gas for some amazingly cooked ribs at the same price and a server that, at least, pretends to like me. The dogs enjoyed the ribs though so I guess that counts for something.

I'm a fan. Good Bar b que. We had amazing service. The wait times could be long depending at what time you show up. They called for 40 minutes but we were seated after 10 (after 7:00 pm). Several different sauces to choose from. They have a house brew which was excellent. We had Ribs (good, not great), Burgers (the loaded bar b que = decadent) and pulled pork. Huge sports/ TV bar. Again....be ready for wait times, when we left at 8:15, they were still queuing up.

We held a corporate event in Orlando and Smokey Bones catered the food. They were very helpful when I ordered the food and again when I confirmed the order. They delivered in a timely manner and helped set everything up before heading back to the restaurant. All of the participants enjoyed the food and were able to eat as much as they wanted. I definitely will use Smokey Bones for another event.

It's rare for me to give above a 3 star for a chain restaurant, but I wasn't pleasantly surprised with our experience. It could have been the $10 off a $20 purchase coupon, or maybe it was the eclectic waitress with the tattoo necklace. It's hard to nail down one thing that bumped it up to four. Maybe it was the pretzel bread with buttery sauces? Or the tasty appetizer sampler. I just can't decide! But I do know this place is certainly worth checking out if you happen upon a coupon in your weekly clipping frenzy.

Still love this freaking place so much we dined here twice on our October trip to Orlando. Baby back ribs w/ dry rub FOR THE WIN. I wish we had a Smokey Bones in Queens, NY!

We ate there twice during our stay in Kissimmee. First on a football Sunday to watch our team play on TV...great food and FANTASTIC service (thanks again, Sam). Second time for Monday night football...all you can eat wings starting at 9PM. We weren't disappointed with the food and our server (Skyler) was very attentive. Only drawback was the audio for a music video channel was playing during the first half of the game. They switched to the Monday Night Football audio at the beginning of the second half. No explanation was given.

YIKES... Terrible! We waited an hour to get seated and then another hour to get our food. By time we actually got the food, it was cold and unattractive. For as high as a price you pay, it shouldn't take 40 min to get a salad after sitting down at a table. I

We went here 8/30/12, at around 8pm. It was raining hard and the restaurant was less than half full. We ordered drinks with specific instructions regarding the lessened alcohol content of one, and another which was a classic margarita. Evidently, these two drinks confused them, because the one that was supposed to be weaker was incredibly strong and the regular one tasted like water with a squeeze of lime. We asked for a glass of juice to dilute the too strong drink and they brought one but it was obviously diluted about 50-50 with water. So, on to the food, we ordered the three meat combo with 1/4 bbq chicken, smoked wings and brown sugar wings. Our sides were the baked potato and cinnamon apples. The bbq 1/4chicken was pretty good, the potato was fine, although we had asked for cheese on it and didn't see hardly any, and the apples were very good. The wings however, were stale, old, bad tasting, spoiled or left out of the cooler for way too long before hitting the fryer or getting sauced. Dangerously old chicken! Smelled and tasted rotten! This is unacceptable for a place that wants to be known for smoked meats and wings in addition to burgers! We had to ask for water and it didn't arrive for 6-7 minutes. Then we never got refills, and because the earlier drinks were so poor we did not want to order them again, we were uncomfortably thirsty by meals end. Then to top it off, when the waiter came and saw 6 of the 8 wings untouched, and two that had only been sampled and then rejected, he said "well, plates and dishes all empty, ready for some desert"? In reality, the only "dishes" empty, were our water glasses. Side note: We had been here twice before, first time in February this year great service and food was excellent. Then in May, food was fair, service was just fair. Now in August, both were lacking, and the food was criminally negligent, as in salmonella botulism inviting chicken gone bad. Good decor, great potential, but it just takes you way way wayout on the boulevard, and leaves you there.

We REALLY enjoyed this place! Went late night on a Friday after hitting the parks and what a pleasant surprise...The food was great and the service top-notch....There are MANY tourist trap restaurants in this area but this place really stands out...The smoked wings are incredible!....Great bar and beer selection....Prices were very reasonable and if you go after 10 PM they have great specials...We liked it so much we went back on Saturday night

Stopped here for lunch during our stay in Orland, Florida with my boss and his wife. I ordered fish and chips for lunch and for desserts we all shared donuts. Those donuts were the best I ever had. They came out hot with side of chocolate sauce and strawberry. The waitress was very professional and recommended the donuts which turned out to be the best pick. I may stop by just for those. ;-)

My girlfriend and I arrived in Orlando last week and we had a miserable time picking restaurants. Bad luck followed bad luck until we happened upon Smokey Bones for dinner one night. Coming from MA, we didn't realize this was a chain restaurant but it didnt really matter. The food was awesome!!! I had the ribs and beef brisket which were perfect and my girlfriend had the pulled pork sandwich. Both of us reveled in the big portions and great flavor. The service was on par with the food. The waiter (Justin) was extremely friendly and made some suggestions in terms of food for us. Refills for our drinks arrived with perfect timing and the bill was given just as promptly and efficiently. I would absolutely suggest this to anyone visiting the Orlando-Kissimmee area as a stop for good value, good service, and good food.

The baby back ribs were tasty and the sausage links. Service needs work but the food was decent. Cool spot for a ribs or burger dinner when vacationing with the family.

Our server was no good. Otherwise it would have been better. You could tell he couldn't care less about us but was much more interested in the table behind us with 4 people, all ordering plenty of drinks. My boyfriend and I each got the 1/2 rack of ribs with various sides, which were fine, but the ribs were a bit dry, I was surprised because I have been to many Smokey Bones in various different states, and my ribs were never this dry. The server didn't ask how it was until we were practically done eating, and only asked if we wanted more tea and soda when we were already finished with our meal. Too late now, you blew it buddy. He perceived us as people who would not tip well because we didn't order much, but he was wrong about us. We tip high when the service is good no matter how low the bill is, it's not the server's fault that the ribs were dry, but he could have asked, we weren't going to send them back, they were good enough. We will continue to try other Smokey Bones at other locations, we'll stay away from touristy areas like this one.

Smokey Bones is a fun place for dinner with a menu that has a combination of traditional and unique American fare. If you are going with a group of people, it's a good choice to meet a variety of tastes. Prices are reasonable. Ribs were especially wonderful! We went on a Friday night and only had to wait about ten minutes even though they were busy.

I've had better. This place is like a barbecue version of applebees or chilis. The food is edible but I'd be willing to pay more for better quality in all departments.

Very good BBQ, fire roasted corn and creamy cole slaw. Our waitress was very fun and friendly. She gave us recommendations that were spot on. We definitely do not have BBQ this good in California. We sat in the bar area and the music was a bit too loud, but it was turned down shortly after we were seated. I look forward to eating at this establishment again or hope that one is open in the Southern California area sometime soon.

This was my first time at any Smokey Bones, and the wife and I had a very good time. We arrived late on a Sunday night, and were seated immediately. Our sodas arrived quickly, and were refilled as needed through the meal without a word being said. The Southwest Eggrolls were quite good, slightly spicy, but maybe not quite as good as Chili's. The cup of (slightly) spicy crab soup had good flavor but almost no crab meat. The ribs were quite good (I had the St. Louis; my wife, the baby back). We each got the 'house rack' (8 ribs): neither of us managed to finish them. I liked the tanginess of the Carolina Mopping Sauce; I also tried the KC BBQ, which was a more traditional BBQ sauce. The sides were all outstanding: the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (extra good with the brown sugar sauce the server recommended); the baked beans sweet and flavorful; the coleslaw flavorful and crisp; and the loaded fries had a sweet sauce and tomatoes in addition to the usual chesse, bacon and green onions. The bag of doughnuts dessert (recommended by the waiter) was the one low spot of the night. The doughnuts, while fresh and hot, were dense and wet inside, maybe undercooked, and the sauces (caramel and dark chocolate) were nothing to write home about. We'll definitely be coming here with the family herd soon!

on Feb 16, 2013 we went to Smokey Bones BBQ on 2911 Vineland Rd Kissimmee, FL 34746 (407) 397-7102, Called ahead (1hour) to let them know that we have 14 people coming can you take that many! Answer: YES, is it ok if you set at high top table, yes I said. So off we go, get there, little bussy, but looks like they can handle it. So we wait 30 mins, at which point I go up front and tell they you can split us up f you have to. So they did, as we walk thur the restraunt, there ar so many big table (6-7 tables open and clean ready to use) , and small tables, on they way to a room with even more big table, we they sat us, and they did not even try to sat us all together. Ok we are seated, order drinks, they come out about 15mins later, so we order, another 1/2 hour goes by. Ok we got food, so the first salad has a reciept in it under the lettuce, and another person salad has a hair in it, and the baby back ribs come out they are St Louis ribs. And to top it all off the restrooms were the worst, they smelled, and were very dirty. Had i gone to the bathroom first we would ha left. All in all I will never go back there, and it will be a long time before I try a Smokey Bones BBQ restraunt again.

Just got into town and you know how traveling makes you hungry. We just happen to be driving by and saw Smokey Bones and quickly looked it up on yelp and it sounded good. Our party of three stopped in for a late lunch ~3pm on Sunday. We were seated and our server came over quickly and got our drink order. Our server was great and recommended server items for there BBQ that they smoke in-house. Two of us got there combo plates and the other got a steak salad. Both combos were excellent, I had the turkey and baby back ribs, with beans and mash. I wanted more of all of it, so tasty and flavorful. My friends was just as good and he also had baby back ribs and pulled pork. The salad of my other friend was good but they did a poor job of cutting up the steak prior to placing on top. They have drink specials through out the week and some on the weekend. I would go back and wish we had these in Texas.

Wow. Holy smokey and tasty ribs batman! Perhaps I had low expectations but I thought it was frickin' good! Tried the ribs and they were sooooo good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. I had never been to a Smokey Bones and didn't know it was a chain until the couple we went with told us about it. It was very much like Famous Daves. The day we went they said they had a special on the ribs...score! Saved money and it tasted good. Service was good, but nobody was in the restaurant so that helped.

Smokey Bones is not a restaurant that is near where I live but I did visit one in Pennsylvania a few years ago. While visiting Kissimmee, near the end of our trip we wanted to go somewhere where we din't have to get dressed up for nor wait in a long line. This place fit the bill. Our waiter Matthew was attentive and funny and quite sociable. Although, he was trying to push items we were not interested in. My wife had the smoked wings which she enjoyed. She loves her wings, but never had smoked ones before. Eight were plenty for her. I had 1/3 rack of baby back ribs, which I was told were better than the St Louis ribs, and I can see why. I should have done the 1/2 rack. Like I mentioned we had a good waiter, enjoyed our drinks. My wife's Blushing Strawberry Sangria came in a mini pitcher (real cute). No dessert for us. If you are a ribs and wings person, Smokey Bones is a franchise that fits the bill.

Stopped by for lunch one day and it was very good. Had a few appetizers, the pretzels, fried pickles, and tater tots - all very good. My burger (had guacamole on it) was fine, the burger itself was super large and was so big it was hard to taste the toppings. Our server was excellent, very quick and thorough. Hadn't been to one in quite some time, but definitely enjoyed it!

The restaurant was very crowded. service was okay. Alcoholic drinks were very very very watered down. Watered down enough to where we requested for management to cone speak with us. We were told that they would not adjust the drinks. They said if they add more liquor that we would have to pay for it. They were quite rude about it. I have bartending experience and I know how drinks are to be prepared. I will not visit this restaurant again. Food was ok.

Came here tonight to get some late night grub for my 40th bday. Had the ribs, hubby had the ribeye, and daughter had ribs/wings combo. Food was good, but service was EXCEPTIONAL! Honestly, our server Mike and bartender Skyler really made our night. If I owned a restaurant, I'd recruit them at whatever the cost. They have "it," the ability to make the customer feel really special and catered to. Unfortunately, we are just passing through, not locals. But will definitely return if and when the opportunity should arise. Thank you gentlemen, I will always remember your kindness! May good karma find you both, always.

Have to give a solid recommendation for Smokey Bones. Once a Darden restaurant, it was purchased by another chain, and yet, the BBQ is regularly delicious -- probably the best in Kissimmee. Since new management took over about a year ago, the food comes out hot, fresh, and quick each time. I especially enjoy coming for football games. The bartenders, especially Manny, are the best I've experienced, remembering little things about you and evening comping a drink here and there as a small "thank you" for coming in regularly. They are knowledgeable, help you get the most for your money, and don't bat an eye at fixing something that wasn't what you wanted. The pulled pork sandwich & fries for $6 after 10PM (late night menu) has to be one of the best deals around and the $2 bones brew tastes like Killians Red, a steal for the price. 4 stars.

Went there, the worst place I have been since moving here. The waitress was terrible, didn't listen as I ordered, I told her I had an allergy to mayonnaise and not to bring coleslaw or tarter sauce to the table. Well when the food arrived they did as well on my plate. I ask they be taken away, the fish I ordered was dripping grease, and way undercooked. When the food was served the waitress didn't return to ask how it was. My wife finished her food and I couldn't eat. When the waitress returned I complained about the food, she offered a free meal and I declined. Have no interest in any of their food, I ask for a manager and she went to get one but came back and said she was taking the meal off the bill. No manager ever came to the table. This was a terrible restaurant and I suggest that any one thinking about going there pass and go any where else. There is no wonder many restaurants of this chain has closed down.

I'm a fan, but NOT after 10pm. But before I tell you why, let me say that the BBQ is top-notch. These are some of the best ribs I've had since Tennessee, the BBQ capital. And even cole-slaw, which can sometimes be deceptive, is right on point at Smokey's. In fact, there wasn't a single item that I turned down. My friends and I each got different sides and basked in the joy of variety, each bite better than the next. Service was excellent, a cherry on top of it all. I left feeling like Indiana Jones--clearly, I had discovered another world wonder that only Orlando residents are privy to (I'm a Miami gal, no Smokey Bones in my neck of the woods). But I don't know where the magic goes after 10pm! Enter Mr. Hyde. What once was a warm, friendly place with attentive servers quickly turns into a get-in-get-out factory. The food is still good sure, but you'll have to correct the order 2 or 3 times. The brisket is off the market, apparently it's a hot-seller. The bread must be a precious commodity because our server only brought us one slice. And don't look down because you can practically play connect-the-dots with the chunks of food and crumbs left by the previous family. Clean up anyone? So this is either a severe case of mistaken identity or Smokey Bones is a restaurant-werewolf and you just gotta know when to go! I'll give you a hint: it's before 10pm.

  • Kevin P.

When I saw this place was averaging 3.5 stars, I can only assume it has something to do with the temporary 'I'm visiting' status of most Orlando eaters. Hey, I was visiting too, but I still know good BBQ when I taste it. Well, good BBQ lives here. I tried the ribs, and I went into one of my deep meditative meals, usually only inspired by sushi. I like bar-b-que, but it takes good, slow cooked, wood smoked bar-b-que to get me there. They have that style here, and the ribs with the house sauce were on point. Also check out the fresh baked corn bread with special flavored butter (yum). Also on the menu were nachos with optional meats included (smoked pork on top was just fine). Baked beans were good, layered in molasses which goes perfect with the ribs. I'm sure this is a chain restaurant, but the staff was friendly (waitress was excellent actually), and everything was great. I will definitely think of Smokey Bones next time I am in town, because smokey bones was all that was left on my plate.

ok, so this might have been the best "sit down" place that we ate. The food was great! everything was really good. The scorcher burger was amazing, and the sauces were pretty tasty too. Service was ok, but the food made up for it. Price was good. 4 adults ate for $80 (with desert) Which reminds me, try the apple pie!! em em em good!

Went here in search for good BBQ Brisket. Man, were we disappointed. My husband wanted to try a little bit of everything so had the choose 3 combo and added a fourth. He had... Pulled pork: The best thing on the menu along with the BBQ beans. Brisket: He asked for it chopped, the waitress looked at him like he was from another planet and told him they don't chop it there. When the plate came it was "chopped" but the brisket looked like the kind you order at your grocers meat counter drenched in a retched sauce. It was awful. Smoked Sausage: It was smoked but dry and tasted old. Wings: We got Parmesan garlic wings which were ok. Nothing I'd go out of my way to eat. We also had an appetizer of Fresh made kettle chips that I have to admit were amazing. So go in for that and the pulled pork. All in all I was not impressed and would never venture that way again. Even the pictures I took look not so appetizing.

Average food that cost too much. Overpriced drinks and undersized TV's. Most of the wait staff seemed energetic, but our server was a dolt. I got the baby back ribs. They were extremely average. Another in our group had the two meat combo he rated it as average. The combo appetizer plate was surprisingly small and included fries. Nothing to rave about. Basically everything is low quality in the food department, but the decor is nice.

If you are like me and find yourself hungry after the night festivities in the Magic kingdom area or if you are just a local, this place is open until 2 am in the morning. It has a series of tv's for watching sports and really comfortable bar. The bar maid is really down to earth and has no problem recommending something from the menu. I have been on several occasions now and will continue for that late night snack, sandwhich or dinner. The bar is extensive in itself and really good drinks. The pork sandwich is tender and so are the ribs.

My wife and I like Smoky Bones. We eat occasionally at the locations in York and Wyomissing, PA. This location gets only an average rating from me. I had the Steak & Spinach salad (good) and my wife had the "pick two" - pulled pork & spicy wings. No real problem with the food but not memorable either. What was memorable was the service. Waaay understaffed for a Sat afternoon in a resort area. Slow getting a table and slow getting drink refills etc.

Excellent, genuinely friendly service coupled with amazingly different and yummy chicken wings and light red house beer made for an excellent dinner, especially since we're from out of town and didn't know what to expect. My husband and I also split the baby back ribs, pulled pork and mac n' cheese (which was to die for!) and were very pleased. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. :)

Reviews for this Smokey Bones are all over the place...for good reason...there is no consistancy in food quality or service. This location close to the corner of 535 and 192 seems to always be busy. So all I can conclude is that they rely on their location in close proximity to tourist hotels and don't rely on repeat business. Which is a reflection of management attitudes. This BBQ chain restaurant needs to re-evaluate the meaning of the words...service, quality, and consistency.

  • Kent H.

The pulled pork platter comes from their smoke preparation. It didn't taste like anything unique or special. The menu was too vast and trying to cover too much. The baked beans were a little too sweet, it could have had less sugar. Nothing to say about the broccoli, just typical. While not reflective of the stars, the stars are just for the food. The service was horrible. Our waitress disappeared.

  • Adamari M.

Food is nothing out of the ordinary, very mediocre for my taste. All the sides are sold separately, wings don't come with carrots and celery, hamburgers don't come with fries either, food was very cold, the ribs didn't taste fresh, as if they were done hours ago. I would recommend trying other places to leave your bucks. Bathrooms where horribly dirty.. I think there's enough said with that.

St. Louis ribs...rub is bit salty... But tender as heck. Beef Brisket.... Mmmmm.... Sweet and tender with just enough of a fat layer Smoked Chicken Wings... Sweet rub. Tender and juicy. Cannot believe how good they were. If I knew ahead, I would order a double plate for dinner. Chris was our server... He was very attentive and made sure all drinks were topped off.

For the price there are way better options out there. Save your money and go elsewhere. Food is mediocre service is worst. We went here with a party of 14 to celebrate a birthday. We told the host we have a party of 14 and he looked upset. He said wait awhile because we're short staffed. The whole restaurant had only 2 other tables with customers and about 20 empty tables there. We didn't mind since we were starving. Ribs are terrible, get frozen ribs from a grocery store and microwave it will be more delicious. The only food I could recommend here are the nachos, fries, and wings. Save yourself time and money go to chilis

Checked out Smokey Bones with a group of friends and I will say I was more impressed than I thought I would have been. Smokey Bones is a chain BBQ joint offering a large menu of options. I ordered up the smoked turkey (which was a little dry) and the beef. It was much better than I had expected. If you're craving some BBQ, then this place may fill the void. Just beware REAL BBQ fans. There's just something about Floridians not being able to "really get" BBQ, so cut them a little slack. It's not Texas, Nashville or South Carolina. But it's decent good BBQ. As for anything else, just beware. My mate says the Fish and Chips sucked. Frozen and blah. So maybe stick to what the joint knows best.

Not the best night for smokey bones. To go order and they forgot one of my items. More importantly, the smoked chicken wings, which are normally delicious, were too salty to eat. I'll be back but definitely an off night.

I'm sorry but I hated this place. I had the 1/4 chicken and smokey wings with apples and mashed potatoes and gravy. The smokey wings were over cooked and still had chicken feathers on it. The 1/4 chicken was good and the mashed potatoes were okay. Now the service we saw the waiter once to take our order and that's it. Never saw him again. We paid with that kiosk thing and it didn't print my receipt and my husband had to find him to get the receipt totally unacceptable. I'm from Virginia and they have 2 smokey bones. Florida was so bad I don't think I will try it again in Virginia.

Another great dinner at Smokey Bones!! Server was awesome!! Very reasonably priced, our family of 7 ate dinner with appetizers for less than $150. I had the petite filet with the mushroom sauce...wonderful. Only unpositive thing to say is the fried pickles were on the salty side, other than that...great meal.

Again the service was phenomenal, but after ordering a rare burger it was brought out well done. Not just well done but burnt to a crisp. (Not really sure how it's possible to mess up THAT badly) after sending the meal back it was brought out a second time. This time only one side of the burger was cooked AND THE OTHER SIDE WAS STILL FROZEN!!!!!! I do not recommend this establishment to anyone not wishing to die of ecoli or salmonella poisoning.

Great appetizers for being in a strip mall! Great draft beer selection & ribs too. Their bbq drizzled fries with cheese, bacon, & green onions were delicious! My daughter gave their Mac n cheese a 5 star review!

The only thing we enjoyed here was the dry rub wings. Those things are delicious! The rest was meh. Service wasn't good. We constantly had to ask for refills and they didn't come. The manfriends mac n cheese came without half of the toppings he ordered. Then after crap service and no drink refills, the server has the balls to write the appropriate tip amounts on the bottom of our check. Assuming that a. I can't do basic math on 15 or 20% of 100$ and b. that he thinks he deserves that much of a tip. Gross. I would imagine this place is better if you actually park at the bar and eat/drink. Then you can watch your sports and have face to face service.

The reviews weren't too strong for this place but I was craving BBQ on vacay so my husband and I went here. It was after 10pm but our waitress was attentive and the food were quite tasty. I had the pulled pork meal and my husband has a combo of smoked wings and briskest. Neither of us had any leftovers to take home! Similar to Famous Daves. Prices were reasonable for a chain restaurant. Overall great experience!

Had the smokey and brown sugar glazed wings and both were delicious! Pulled pork sammy and loaded mashed were fablous as well! Excellent service by Casey! :-)

My boyfriend and I stopped here to eat. We were hungry, thirsty and looking for casual. We were seated at a booth promptly. It went downhill from there. We waited patiently for a server. After waiting 20 minutes, and dying of thirst, I approached the host stand and asked if our sever was even in the building. The host was waved his hand and said "yeah that's her section over there" with a slight wave. He walked with me back to the table and said that sometimes it's hard to see out particular booth. (In the open square dining area). They accommodated us with fried pickles. My boyfriend never received his salad, the manager never came to check back with us. I'm in the industry. The lack of accommodation got it one star. The ribs were actually good. I would have given it two full stars.

If you are goong to order barbecue this is the place for you. The chicken wing appetizer is quite good. My family loves the cornbread. If you can't decide between St Louis and baby back ribs you are in luck because they have a platter with both. I got the corn as one of my sides and I really liked it. I also tried all of the sauces and my favorite was the vinegar based "mopping sauce". my platter also came with garlic bread and the server was great even when some in our party were not very polite. I always had good memories of Smokey Bones and if anything the menu has improved. I tried the donuts dessert and it did not disappoint fresh fried mini cake donuts shaken in cinnamon sugar at the table and served with chocolate fudge and raspberry dipping sauces. Not to be missed.

The food was good Service was really good they have some pretty decent happy specials. The smoked chicken was juicy and tender and chipotle sauce was really good to the burgers juicy tender well-made service is great. My son had a bit of an upscale look to it but yet still Casual like Friday's or Chili's vibe

Our bartender was great, and the buffalo chicken dip was great! I just wish their chip to dip ratio wasn't so off, too many chips. I ordered the loaded nachos for the appetizers, they looked VERY dry, the pulled pork looked like it has been sitting there for a while and they cheese that was melted over it had hardened back up. Not very appealing. However we would still go back to try other things from the menu one day.

It's been a long time since I've been to a Smokey Bones. I ordered a steak with a loaded baked potato (why does having it loaded make it extra??? come on!) and broccoli. It was okay. Not great, not bad. Just okay. My hubby had one of their special burgers. He said it was okay too. The drink list surprised me. There were so many on there that I'd love to order! And that usually doesn't happen! But lets get to the dessert. Oh the dessert. We ordered the chocolate bites. They were like a combo of deep fried oreos and deep fried brownies. There were SO. INCREDIBLY. GOOD! I think we'll be back more just for those (and to partake in some of the drinks, of course!)

One of my go-to places for an abundance of meat. I'm always amazed at smoked wings. Between that and the rub, and the sticky glaze, it's something I'll always order. I've introduced 3 NJ friends to this place, so when we travel down there, they'll have no aversion to eating there with me. Like that the menu changes a lil every couple of months; its always for the better. Had the new mac and 4-cheese pasta with a choice of toppings. Mine had carmelized onions, sausage, and smoked gouda. Couldn't finish it, but had a lil help from my dining companions before the waitress took it away. No complaints. Ribs are always tender, seasoned well and incredibly tasty. I try the 4 sauces on the table like I'd never had them before, cuz they're awesome & should be put on everything. Sides are great, bread is yummy, even the broccoli makes me hum. They do a hot bag of donuts with dipping sauces, chocolate and raspberry..niiice. If i leave Orlando without going here for a meal, it feels like I've lost something special. Now the service....well...not always consistent. Not always great. Servers are quirky, forget things, and sometimes it feels like it's their first day. I've only been to this location, so I can't speak for the other staff, but this staff...well the fish stinks from the head, so maybe the manager isn't the best. But when they get it right, I tip them extra, cuz i don't expect them to be the best. Everything they do is done yummy, and I'm a fan forever.

This place is great, but Skyler is the shit. We came in at like 1 AM and he was super rad anyways, made great conversation and even though we didn't drink any of the cocktails, everything he put in a glass looked pretty damn good. Even if you aren't hungry, stop in just to tip my man Skyler.

The rib and chicken wings are great! "Bones beer" is another must try. I don't know what happened to the previous customer, but the service to us were nice enough, even we ordered more beer than we planned! Recommend for sure!

First timers here. Seated quickly. Waitress greeted and took orders. Food came out quickly. Nice and hot. Ribs and brisket made to perfection. Baked BBQ beans the best I've ever tasted. Would recommend to anyone who loves BBQ. Will definitely be returning here during another visit to Orlando. And btw, can't complain about the pretty waitresses either.

I'm from Seattle area and this place reminds me of the Applebee's/TGIF style back home. Good food, obviously different menu. I really liked my drink, all I remember is it had a grilled pineapple on it.

I've never been to this location before but after coming several times already I can truly say they have great wings, beer and location. However, the main reason for my returning is the attention and service by the bartender, Skylar. My friends and I always have a great time here and remain loyal thanks to the service provided by him. We're always taken care of and he's always joking around with us. Keep up the good work. Great job to the location and service. Hopefully you'll keep seeing us every week.

Wow amazing service and the food.... After I was done eating a rush of happiness came to me! I feel like a little kid! Super fire!! Cheesecake bites for deserts with caramel amazing! I've been here for 20 minutes and I already ate and paid wtf! I love it!

*Very good ribs *Manager and server were very friendly. The ribs were great (I love their BBQ sauce also) and the fries were undercooked, so I ate about 20% of them. The spinach dip was also very good. Some of the pictures on here are stock photos which are not this particular location. Why do people do that?

Stopped by with my husband and we stood up front 5 minutes and twice bartender said someone will come shortly and help you. After 7 minutes waiting to be seated we decided to leave. I wonder if we stay how much longer will they take to serve food?? Very bad customer service and when they saw us leaving didn't even approach us to apologize !

Really good food, decent service. Enjoyed ourselves. Ribs are fantastic, esp baby back. Brisket was decent, chicken delicious. The mac and cheese is out of this world.

Wouldn't know how the food is, because nobody acknowledged us or tried to sit us while we stood there for five minutes. What I'm guessing was the hostess walked over with a sour look on her face. She grabbed a spray bottle of cleaner and a rag, and walked off without a word. Let me add it was 1:30 in the afternoon and the place was not even half full.

The best wings I've ever tried! I stayed in a near-by hotel and I saw the place not so appealing from the outside but the name inspired "wings & ribs" so my husband and I decided to give it a shot! The inside of the place is rustic and really nice, it's all about bbq and they have their own smoker on the back. We started with the SMOKED WINGS ... and we should have stopped there! They were spectacular!!! We wanted to cancel the order and ask for more. The smoked sauce is like a sweet BBQ sauce but really authentic and nothing like we've tried before! Then we had a pulled pork Sammy and the smokehouse chicken sandwich. They were both good but I think we had really high expectations after the wings! We have to go back before we leave! Don't judge a book by its cover! I really recommend this place!!!!

Food was good. We had wings, ribs, steak and cheese cake bites and enjoyed every item. Would give a solid four stars, but their use of the table screens was annoying. Waiter stands at table and tells you that you must enter in your appertizer order after you wait for him to go to the bar with your drink order and the machine is activated. Our waiter was good, but the idea of making the customer wait and have to key in their own order is inconvenient and diminishes the waiter's own service.

Great service and food. We passed by here driving in orlando and decided to go in. It was such a pleasant experience that we went back 3 times before leaving orlando. I would highly recommend it. Great BBQ and awesome burgers. Cooked perfect every time. The staff is very friendly also.

Located across the street from the hotel we were staying at, we decided to stop by this place for dinner one night. We love BBQ and couldn't wait to try it out. After browsing the menu and talking with the server, we decided to create our own combo of three items so that we could sample as many pieces as possible. The 3 item combo was priced at $15.99, which is a good deal. I had the BBQ Ribs, 1/4 BBQ Chicken, and Smoked Turkey Breast w/Loaded Fries. yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… The Better Half had BBQ Ribs, Hand Pulled Pork, and Smoked Spiced Sausage w/Cole Slaw and Fries. yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… All of the food was excellent. The BBQ Ribs were full of flavor and fell off the bone...perfect! The BBQ Chicken was moist and smokey...very good. The Turkey Breast was the one that surprised me....I ordered it because the server recommended it...and I'm glad I did. It was sooo good....tender, juicy, and full of smokey flavor. The Loaded Fries were ridiculous and full of calories....but worth it. TBH enjoyed her meal and gave me a bite of the Sausage and Pork so I could sample it....they were both very good too. To help us wash it down, we ordered a bottle of Menage a Trois....yum! yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… Side note - they have 4 BBQ Sauces on the table available for you. yelp.com/biz_photos/smok… Return Factor - 90%

Smokey Bones was recommended by close family friends. We all went for dinner just the other night. We tried the ribs and the wings. The wings were great. The dry rub with the Buff-a-que sauce was unreal. BWW should watch out! I never liked cornbread I still don't like cornbread but if you do! Get the cornbread it's more cakey then bready. I would recommend it as a dessert and don't forget to put the butter on it. It's special butter! Trust me. The ribs are great as well full flavor through the meat not just smothered in sauce. The server was nice friendly and attentive. Great place for friends and family

I was very happy with the atmosphere. Its a sports bar. The smoked wings are a must. I ate the Baja fish crunch excellent with the bbq mustard. I would recommend this place to the sports enthusiast.

Service: Good. Both the hostess and the waitress took good care of me. My waitress did everything an experienced waitress should. Ambience: OK; casual dining , plenty of room between tables. Booth was a good size. A little noisy due to music and TVs. Food: I had the combination of babyback ribs and brisket. Both were good; better than average. The brisked was very tender and tasty. The ribs had plent of meat and "fell off the bone". Cole slaw was especially good. Steak fries were OK; I would get the onion rings the next time. Value: OK. Plenty of food. free refills on soft drinks. Recommended.

More like a 3.5 star. Pretty solid food in the area. Prices are not cheap, but the portions are big (especially if you order "correctly"). Skip the measly 3-entree combo. That only gives you a 1/3rd rack. WTH is a 1/3rack? That's like 4 bones. Meh. We got: 1 full rack of baby back ribs, original sauce -- 4 stars. Meat was fall-off-the-bone. The sauce was plentiful but very sweet. Hint of spice but not spicy. If you don't like sugary ribs, get a different sauce. 4 stars. 1 full rack of st louis ribs, memphis dry rub -- this was my fave. The dry rub was well seasoned, not too salty, not too spicy. The rib was nicely smoked and had tons of flavor. Tender, yum. 5 stars. Brisket -- pretty flavorful. They pull it out of the smoker at 4pm, so if you get there for an early dinner it will be right out the smoker. I thought the meat was a little chewy and sinewy for me, but the boys in the group liked it. The flavor was really good though. Pulled pork -- I like my pulled pork without a bunch of BBQ sauce on it (ie dressed). The pulled pork here comes drenched in sauce, which I didn't love. The pork itself was good but you could hardly taste any pork flavor since it was drenched in sauce. Depends on your preference of pulled pork, but I'd skip it. Mac & cheese -- best I've had in a while. Yum yum. 4 stars. Corn (off cob) -- really very average. 3 stars. Loaded fries -- nothing special, but tasty. The spicy mayo it comes with was delicious though (best thing on the plate). 3 stars. Beans -- very sweet, but nice smokey flavor. I dislike sweet beans so it wasn't for me. If you like sweet beans, it's probably a 3.5 star. Above average. Good "chew" without being mealy. Their sangria (white & red) was below average. Lots of ice, low on alcohol and had that yucky syrupy taste. Skip it. Someone ordered root beer and it came in a bottle of IBC. That was cute. Overall, I'd eat here again if I were in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
