Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

In Kissimmee area so used the app for pizza. Found this place. Kind of a hole in the wall restaurant which I love. Salad was good. Had a vegetable pizza with pineapple, it was delicious. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely come back if I was in this area.

3.5 stars.... The plaza it's located in doesn't do much for you when you pull in but once you're inside it's almost like I'm back in NY in a little strip mall getting good food. I had the spaghetti w/ sausage. Good sausage, decent sauce. My friend had the chicken casserole which is basically breaded chicken parm w/ a side of pasta. The casserole part confused us. I was picturing it being a spaghetti pie type dish. The handmade bread steaks they serve are FANTASTIC! Oh! And the tossed salad wasn't boring like it usually is at a lot of places. It comes out like a mini antipasto. It had diced salami and cheese. I will definitely be back!

moved here not too long ago and wanted something authentic and 'local'...well, we got it with Pizza City! I'm from Central NY and miss the Italian food so bad...we ordered a large plain pizza, a 'white' pizza and an eggplant parm sub. Delicious! The prices are very reasonable, generous proportions and very friendly staff. Since we stopped in for take out, we had to wait a bit but not too bad..this would be considered a 'hole in the wall' place which is where the best foods usually are. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's worth the trip! We will be back many times!! Thanks Pizza City for some awesome food and staff!

Great pizza place. Sauce is awesome. Had the small calzone and that thing was HUGE! Love the place!

Pizza City is what you'd call a little "hole in the wall" kind of restaurant, but boy is the food good. Most things on their menu are absolutely worth trying, their NY style pizza, the lasagna, and especially the calzone, which comes in two sizes: small and large. The small size could easily weigh about 5 pounds and feed 3 people, so choose carefully. The prices are more than reasonable and the restaurant has (almost) always had a friendly staff. Overall, it's a great lunch spot and I highly recommend it.

Oh the greatest EVER!!! if you have not been here you must go! I grew up in Kissimmee, going to Pizza City once a week or so. Love to play the jukebox and the table pacman game! sicilan pizza and calzones are my favorites! antipasto salad is very good! subs are great! staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. you will never find another place like this anywhere. I judge all calzones by the ones that are made here at Pizza City!

Atmosphere is bleh service was alright..had to flag her down for refills, straws, and the sweet n low she initially offered me when placing drink orders. The food was decent and the prices were good. I had stuffed shells. I'm not a cook, but they make it just like I make it at home. I stuff some ricotta cheese into a shell, pour some spegetti sauce over it and sprinkle it with cheese and bake. done. So yeah, seems like it was just thrown together, no flavorful spices or anything to remember.. No WOW factor here. the garlic rolls were good. I would go again, but would try something different.

Yummy is all i can really say about this place. It was about $30 or $40 for 3 and a kid to eat. We got 2 large pizzas and 16 wings, with some extra toppings on the pizzas. The wings and the pizza were both delish.

My brother and I went to celebrate the start of the Fall Semester. We each had a slice and shared an order of garlic rolls - we left full. the pizza slices are big, the sauce was alright, the garlic rolls were very good the end part was a little chewy. Not bad, the wait was a little long, but we had a good night.

This happens to be @vleboss go to spot. I haven't been here in over 10 years. So, here goes the story. @vleboss has been coming here for over ten years with her family and Kris has been her server for years. Well, luck has it that Kris now owns this Pizza City for a few years now. She went from server to owner. It has won awards for their food and Kris herself has won awards for her service. Unfortunately, I was unable to confirm the story with Kris. I may go again just to ask if it's a true story. One issue I had with this place today is that it didn't have a mixed crowd. I have been in Kissimmee for 14 years now and am always used to seeing diversity. Pizza City didn't offer that today. I felt uncomfortable for a bit. Didn't take me long to get over it, but it did make me a bit nervous. The ladies had antipasto salad when I arrived. I was about ten minutes late. Which is too late when it comes to food. Now lets talk about the entrées. This was the Lunch Special. Two slices, salad, and drink. @Tarajroth and @vleboss shared this. Baked Ziti. Didn't know what to order and I asked my SIL what I should order and she suggested that. I didn't like it. I could have made the same thing at home. The pizza slice was better than this. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Based on reviews this place is supposed to be good. I should give it another chance. It won't be soon. Not my cup of tea. Check it out for yourself and see what ya think. @vleboss loved it and so may you.

Strip mall Italian restaurant that has fantastic Italian food!!! The small calzone is HUGE!!!! The wings were large too, and the steak sub was very very tasty we put marinara on it too! There were three choices for kids meals. We had the chicken finger basket and they were not disappointed. The interior has a juke box and at least 10 booths and three large tables. If you are going for ambiance this place probably isn't for you,.... but what it lacks in decor they make up for in price and tastiness.... If you are looking for the total package of ambiance, taste, and a little higher prices in the Kissimmee area close by,.. another staple to try would be Tarintinos and is a sure bet. But if you are just looking for great Italian food, great prices, large sizes and a friendly staff you found it here.

I hesitated for a long time on whether or not to give 3 or 4 stars... you decide: I stopped in for a late lunch (2:30ish) and ordered 2 slices w/pepperoni and a drink, $7, not bad! I was told that they had to make a fresh pie and it would take about 10mins, no problem. Obviously when I got the slices they were fresh and steamy, because I took them to go, I didn't realize how undercooked it was. The crust was completely limp, I'm assuming because they were rushing to fill my order, they took it out too soon. So why did i want to give 4 stars??? CUZ IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS! Sauce was really tasty, cheese was quality, and even undercooked the crust was yummy! Huge slices (NY-style) with excellent taste...but I was bothered by the floppy crust! The place itself, nothing outstanding - homey, old, clean - didn't make an impression one way or the other. I will go back for some (fully cooked) pizza!

In need of a good pizza place here since I moved, I first checked Yelp here, and I saw that Pizza City was well-reviewed. I decided to give it a try. The feel of the restaurant is a bit homely, kind of a small-time place. They give you paper plates, which didn't wow me, I'll admit. Aside from that, though... the wait staff was very nice and attentive. We got a large pepperoni and pineapple, and a white pizza with mushrooms. The pies were both excellent, affordable, well-seasoned... just downright tasty. However. Canned mushrooms. That was a bit of a letdown. We also got mozzarella sticks, and I found them to be a golden brown, delicious appetizer. We'd definitely go back, and while I'm ready to settle on it as my pizza place for the area, my roommates want to try for a few more, see if they can top Pizza City. Small warts aside, Pizza City may be tough to beat.

The calzones here are phenomenal i actually go out of my way to come here for them. You can call your order in before hand and save yourself some time but even if you don't it's worth the wait. The portions are huge so if you order a large make sure either 3 people will be eating from this monster or that you are ready to take some home. Their pizzas are no slouch either lets face it this is the best New York style pizza that can be found in central florida. The prices cannot be contested as not only are the items economical the quality and portions are well worth what you pay. Never been? what are you waiting for?
