What you've come to expect at Perkins - delicious, hearty breakfast with ample portions. Really enjoyed the whole grain nut pancakes that accompanied my wonderfully fresh Mediterranean omelette. And they serve you enough tomato juice to cleanse out the prostates of a gaggle of oldsters. All in all, a reliable stop for chain breakfast dining.

We were seated right away by a friendly hostess. Our server was prompt and attentive. My husband and I are vegetarians and found their options to be pretty good. We both ordered a dish with hollandaise sauce on it which was surprisingly good for a chain diner! On our way back again today!

When i came here i expected an ihop experience , it is, and more don't trust the pictures, don't believe the propaganda. This place will kill your dreams. I was a happy person once, until i got the pancakes, or should i say killcakes. They drafted my grandfather in to Vietnam. At the ripe age of 90 the chicken strips are to die for. They have deals for amusement parks too.

Awesome family diner. Even though its a chain restaurant they crank out some quality breakfast. I wish we had one in Houston, TX. If your in the Orlando, FL area check this place out! They're waffles were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside and they have a bakery with colossal sized cookies!

I'm not familiar with this chain, but we enjoyed our meal here. My wife ordered the spinach mushroom scramble and it was delicious and made with fresh spinach. My daughter ordered the southern biscuit with a chicken patty inside the classic bisquit with sausage gravy. This gave the dish some texture and made it very hearty. I was the strange one and ordered the meatloaf at 930 am. I was not so happy with this dish. Although my wife and daughter loved the dish (they shared it while I had some of their dishes #familybuffet), I could not get past the tomato base cooked on top with the brown gravy added before serving. The meat texture was fine and it was served on top of mashed potatoes, but I do not believe that the tomato and brown gravy went well together. I still believe that this chain offered a fairly decent quality at a good price.

Coffee was decent and waitress was friendly. Food took around 30 minutes to come out. My food was stone cold and had a hair in it. Another person at my table was told that their breakfast biscuit would take an additional 15 minutes.

Ok, but not as good as it used to be.

Breakfast was great! The big country breakfast is delicious. Coffee was just as good. Our waiter Jean was exceptional. He gave us great recommendations and was so taking good care of us. Restaurant is clean. We had to wait between 5-10 minutes for the food to come out on a Saturday Morning. Pretty good if you ask me. First time eating here and will definitely be back when I am back in town...

We split a blueberry muffin and blueberry banana pancake platter. The food was good and service was fast. Waitress was nice to put food on two separate plates because we split the meal. Nice stop.

This is our first time eating at a Perkins Restaurant it was really good. Our server Jean was very nice. I had the All American breakfast and my husband had the Big Country both were delicious. We shared a cinnamon roll french toast which was to die for. Still warm even after we finished our meal

The food was just okay. I prefer Waffle House over this place simply based upon customer service and quality of food. I ordered the Brioche French toast and my husband had the strawberry Belgian waffle. While the food was not disgusting, it was not anything I'd crave or want to return for. The service from Denese was less than stellar as well. She rarely checked on us and made little to no effort to make us feel welcomed.

It was ok. The food was good, but my wife & I had to wait to be seat & to take our order. Hostess was awesome & waitress seemed over worked.

A transitional American restaurant!! I go to this restaurant with my friends for breakfast , and I order Brioche French toast with sausage which is tasty because it's not too greasy to me, so we love it. In addition, the service is good and friendly also the price. Therefore, I'd like to recommend this restaurant to everyone! Just enjoy~Y(^_^)Y

Skip IHOP and Denny's and come here French toast is awesome! Portion size is huge and very high quality! Loved it will definitely come back here on our next vacation for breakfast!

This Perkins is A-OK for me. They are always busy and service can get slow sometimes, but you would expect that in Orlando. The food is as good as the next Perkins, not bad, not great. I do love their muffins and French toast, which is what I usually order when going to Perkins. Our recently trip had a party of five. We decided to have brunch around 11 AM and it was packed. After waiting for about 15-20 min, we were seated. Unfortunately, there were a few very large parties (like we saw a bus load of people) ahead of us. So the wait time was quite long for our food. Otherwise, just kind of an "A-OK" place for its consistency and availability.

The food here is excellent! It's along the lines of IHOP, but it's significantly better quality. I ordered the Banana-Blueberry Whole Grain Pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. It did take a little longer for the food to come out; when it did, however, it was worth it. The pancakes were bursting with plump, juicy blueberries and there were probably 2 whole bananas sliced throughout. I like my bacon crispy; it was without being burned. They also offer different kinds of syrup, not just maple but blueberry and citrus as well. I used the citrus, it was a very tasty change from the usual maple. I very rarely clean my plate (I strive to eat healthier and therefore consume smaller portions), but there wasn't a single bite left on my plate after this meal! Outstanding breakfast :)

The food here is average, it's not something out of this world but it's not bad either. It's basically a nicer IHOP with better coffee. I had the brioche platter and my boyfriend had the chicken and biscuits. Like I said before it was good, not excellent but still good. Price wise it's the same as a Denny's or IHOP. The server was friendly and attentive which I really appreciated. Overall this place would be a 3.5 out of 5. Definitely better than Denny's.

  • Sameh T.

It's an OK establishment: the food was average, the service was average, and the place definitely needs better cleanliness. Honestly, you'd be much better off going to IHOP for their succulent omelettes and fluffy pancakes.

Never heard of Perkins but decided to try it while in Orlando. Very good food with the 3 plates the family and I ordered. The biscuits and gravy were amazing! 4 stars due to the service. I don't blame the waitress as she was the only one assisting about 6 tables. Seems to be short staffed even though it was pretty busy for a Thursday morning.

  • Daniela C.

Terrible service. From the moment we came in to the moment we baught extra cookies after paying the check. Be prepared to be waiting for a long time and have rude employees except for the busboys - they are super nice! To avoid problems don't change anything in the menu. Food taste good but service is too bad to ignore.

I came with a group and we got sat very quickly even though they were fairly busy. Our server was friendly and seemed to be experienced. Everything came out exactly as it was ordered, and it was tasty. No complaints from us at all!

When I walked in to be seated, I was told it was a 30 minute wait. It was about 10 mins. When I looked at the menu I was blown away by the options and the choices all looked so good. I had the fried chicken and biscuit platter, it came with eggs (scrambled) and choice of hash browns or home-fries and bacon. It took a little longer than normal, but was well worth the wait! I recommend this place to anyone in the Orlando area looking for a good breakfast at a great price.

I absolutely love coming to Perkins for breakfast whenever I visit Orlando. They have lots of locations and great food! Definitely prefer this over IHOP or any breakfast buffet.

The service was fine. The food was fine but the facility and restrooms were DISGUSTING AND DIRTY. they need to close for a week and just put new carpets and tables in and Clorox everything else.

Service was great. Attentive, kind, professional. All that good stuff. Food was good too. Think of Ihop, Dennys and the like. Nothing to complain about.

Saw the reviews on this place and decided to try it out. Me and my husband went there last Sunday and we loved it!!! It was busy, but service was still good, food was delicious and portions not small, and were very satisfying! I could not eat it all. I will definitely go back when I am back in Orlando.

I've visited this place numerous times while on vacation. So why not return right ? Well the greetings was great seated within 3 minutes :) everyone ordered and received hot food. Did you notice any thing Hot us I ordered meatloaf with man potatoes steamed broccoli. Only thing that was served hot was the broccoli. Requested the server contact the manager the meatloaf was Frozen on runny potatoes. Chef stated it was warm when it was served. Did I say frozen meatloaf with hot gravy. It gets better ordered a burger easy fix right ? Nope frozen with melted cheese. WTW so easy fix because hot red meat is l isn't am option. Grilled chicken salad with no onions or peppers and yeah you guessed it. So I paid my bill and left hungry.

Early morning breakfast when nobody else is around makes me think of vacations. Getting up early to start the day, road trips, and getting ready to be a tourist. Perkins is perfect for that. The breakfast is always consistent and very filling. As it was early, it was charming and peaceful. The service was kind and very efficient. It was relaxing and a tasty way to start my day.

All of these 4 & 5 start reviews, comments like Great Service, Awesome, Great, Good, etc. I must have missed all restaurant because all I got was a mediocre Denny's. Staff was slow & inconsistent, food what so/so and it left me with a not so good feeling once it was all done. Being that this place is on the strip & there are so many other choices I don't know how long this place will be here for.

  • Mike H.

It's Perkins! Comfort breakfast food...one step up from IHOP with the same reliable food every time you go. Service was efficient if less than cheery and they had a balloon guy to keep the kids happy.

  • Dominique D.

Great service! I recommend the Belgium waffle platter. Great place to eat with family and friends.

  • Alex T.

It's your typical perkins. Nothing special at all. The food was excellent for the price and so was the service. I was very satisfied and enjoyed my burger very much. It's just off Disney property, so it's a great place to sit down and relax for a good meal without paying an insane amount like you would for a similar meal at Disney.

    (4)
  • Mike O.

Food was excellent! Staff very friendly! Only reason i gave it four stars and not 5 because it took a long time to get our bill and some guy came to the table and starting making the kids balloon animals! Creepy old man and I had to tip him also! Other wise excellent! Going back this morning .

This Perkins is awesome. They are often incredibly busy at peaks mealtimes due to its prime location on Highway 192 but the staff are always friendly and do their utmost to keep everything moving as efficiently as possible. The Country Cookin' Benedict dish is a tasty twist on the breakfast classic and a definite winner for me.

When I was in school, we would always walk over the the near-by Perkins and study. So going to Perkins for breakfast was like going home again. It was a very good breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon. The eggs were cooked very well. So glad we came here. I will be looking at Denny's differently since I have been reminded how well it should be done.

The food here is consistently good and that's what saves this review! During our most recent visit we were told the wait would be 10 minutes. 40 minutes later we still had not been sat; no announcement that it would be a little longer, no nothing! There wasn't even someone at the host stand for us to direct questions to. Just as we were deciding on whether we were going to leave or not, they called our name. Predictably, service was slow. It probably took a good 30-45 minutes for us to get our meals. Between our group we tried the southern fried chicken biscuits and the triple something or other that came with a whole lotta eggs and a whole lotta pancakes. They were good. Again, the food is what saves this place. They have a delicious pumpkin cheesecake muffin and their oatmeal cookies are really good as well. Service is slow and you might have to ask more than once for what you need, as we had to do often with refills, toast, etc, but it's a decent breakfast option if you have the time and the patience to deal with the shotty service.

Great service. Really tasty food. Yummy and enjoyable all around. Best coffee shop I've been to in Florida. We went for breakfast twice and we're delighted both times.

  • Steve L.

Merely okay. The food was nothing great, although I did like the pumpkin pancakes. Service was definitely not the best - breakfast from start to finish took just over an hour for a table for four, which sucks when have limited vacation time. The wait staff attitude also needs improvement. Surely there are better breakfasts to be had in this area.

Brioche French Toast is one of a kind! We don't have that in our IHops and Denny's in Bay Area. Stay way from Angel resto across the street - worst place to eat.

Perkins has been always my favorite diner. Good service and good food (especially the breakfast menu, of course). I would choose perkins over any other franchaised breakfast diner in a heart beat. This particular location is very close to Disney World. They also do 10% military discout.

Regular breakfast food, nothing spectacular. Their baked good did seem delicious and I also had a banana nut muffin which was VERY YUMMY.
